3301  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cloud Mining Viable in 2017? on: March 11, 2017, 05:48:06 AM
What's your definition of good investment?

1) There is a relative big chance you never get ROI because there is a big chance you reach the moment cost of electricity/maintenance is higher than mined bitcoin. -> negative
2) There is a chance you will get ROI -> then every satoshi you earned more is better dan simply hodling. -> positive

Ofcourse there are more ways to earn bitcoin, like trading or lending (on an exchange for example).

Hashnest has -besides the "normal" investments- also the PACMIC. You can also take a look into that.

PACMIC is expensive, although the rewards are higher. What I like with the regular hash is that you can liquidate it anytime.

The possibility to liquidate anytime you say is to sell the hash you bought anytime?

I tried this on HashNest, bought some mining power, made low profit from their income and when I sold the hash, the price was much lower than the price when I bought. Result was a loss, even selling my hash power + income from mining...
3302  Economy / Securities / Re: Any Safe 1.5% Monthly? on: March 11, 2017, 05:25:38 AM
Ultimately there is no completely safe investment. I have found the "safest" investment options for bitcoin to be dice bankrolls. Investing in a trusted casino bankroll, such as Just-Dice should provide over 1,5% monthly returns. You can find a good dice site to invest in here.

There is a few investments at the forum that I'd trust, such as Sweeet's giftcard business (0.5% daily) and Cryptomerian Private Investment Fund (0.7% weekly on average). Neither of these two I wouldn't trust for any big sums of money.

Yeah. Every investement involves risk. But, I think investment with the least risk would be Investing in Bitcoin casino site. As we all know, Bitcoin casino sites are less frequent to loss. Meaning that your money is safe unless you've invested in a scam bitcoin gambling site.

Another investment with a lease risk is Altcoin Trading (well for some it is very risky, depends on the person who trades), I categorized Altcoin trading having lease risk because you are the one who controls your money. If you follow carefully the proper steps and takes the precautionary measures, then you will not find any trouble in this investment.

Both of them can give you 1.5% interest. As stated above, there are also other investment. Just be aware of the possible scams and beware of those.

Between the two investments you said I think the most adviceable for newbies and beginners is the casino bankroll investment, as you just need to lend your money and wait for the results. The results will be always positive for the investor on long term, if the casino is legit and fair.

Also, you are earning income in BTC, making your money price even more.
3303  Economy / Economics / Re: Good picture to explain the ETF situation on: March 11, 2017, 04:47:41 AM
If ETF will be denied, there's no need to see the price of bitcoin dropping. Whether it will be approved or not.

Still we will see the price of bitcoin to keep on increasing, bitcoin is created that way as long as there are new comers that will invest.

And if there are people that will keep on using it, ETF will just make a small difference but of course I want it to be approved.  Grin
I guess the approval by SEC is the little part of the bitcoin journey. And i think i don't like the approval caused by it seems like just a business. So more money will flow to the bitcoin and the twin winklevoss will take the advantage by the SEC approval with a lot of the partnership in the future. and they will become billionaire and currently they're millionaire.

There's no need to hope anymore, the decision is simply denied. Let's move on and keep the fate and believing the price of bitcoin to pump.

I expected this to happen and many holders did panic selling I will sorry for them. Too bad that they loss a lot of potential profit.

Let's get back to reality and now hope the price will pump before the year ends.

if the decision is really denied, then its better we continue from what we do and gets prepare for anything that will happen in future, we need to watch and learn about what will happen in the market and i think that we can see a little panic from the traders like last night when we see the price is getting pump so high.

Yes, we need to do the best with the situation we have. Everyone should be prepared for the ETF deny. The panic isn't good, I just hope the traders see there isn't reason for panic, that Bitcoin will continue its way as it was until now. As OP picture says, if we weren't to the moon, we will go later, Crypto-Currency is unstopped now.
3304  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: English service, thought? on: March 11, 2017, 04:34:49 AM
It's an opportunity for people on this forum to earn money by teaching language to others. I think to pay a fee as you said isn't a problem and would be very welcome for who is spending time to teach others, it's a retribution sign.

But you don't need to be an expert in English to write on this forum, if you know the basic English, the basic rules, you are able to write here. The words you don't know, use Google Translate, it will be enough. If it's possible to understand what is wrote it's Ok.
3305  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin adoption in Africa: Bitcoin solving problems in the country on: March 11, 2017, 03:00:28 AM
Bitcoin has high value against ZAR ( African currency ) so if African people able to mine or earn bitcoin, it become great advantage because it will help African's economy. Let say if they build online shop or other public service that accept bitcoin , I'm sure that the transaction will be active since the demand will increase overtime

Also, transaction fees for online shopping will also be less and and B2B transactions outside the country, especially with China, will be cheaper when it comes to sending payments.Smiley

The only problem is that the transactions would take a lot of time to be finished if a whole country starts using Bitcoin. However, when this issue be solved there won't be negative points about a Bitcoin adoption in african countries, at least I can't imagine any negative point right now. It would increase the wealthy in the hands of that people. Currency rising its price, exactly the oppost of what happens now.

3307  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ETF Rejected on: March 11, 2017, 12:11:18 AM
The price started dropping even before the announcement. Who still thinks there isn't information leak?

Everyone should be prepared for this, we had two possibilities. The price going up a lot with the approvation and the dump with disapprovation, now we just need to do the best with what we have, in this case the low Bitcoin price, time to buy BTCs and hold for the next events.

What low bitcoin price? Still looks pretty high to me..
Sure for a minute there if you were lucky enough to catch it..

High it is of course, but lower than before haha.

Yesterday the price started dropping without reason, I believe it was because some investors already knew about the ETF rejection before all the rest, what means the information leaked, possibly...

Not so complete like Tomygame, but simple and easy.

Good rewards, I believe it will make success among the fans of DonaldCoin sites. Good luck with more this project.
3309  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Worlds Luckiest Countries on: March 10, 2017, 10:58:09 PM
Looks it doesn't depend only of luck, because luck is random and can be everywhere, any country. The first world countries are on the top because they are smarter to play, they have better skills and can defeat their opponents this way. If it would depend only of luck, we wouldn't have five first world's countries on the top of this list.

3311  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there a Bitcoin Dice Simulator to test if a strategy works on: March 10, 2017, 07:45:44 PM
You can use the faucet of gambling sites to try your strategy also. You can use 1 satoshi per bet or more few satoshis to test it. So, when you want to try the strategy for real you just multiply the values your tried on your experiment.

This way you can observe how often the consecutive losses happen, how long your bankroll survive, etc... Observe the averages.
3312  Other / Off-topic / Re: Recaptcha Issue on: March 10, 2017, 06:40:36 PM
Ok, looks it's working again. Thank you for your hint!
3313  Other / Off-topic / Recaptcha Issue on: March 10, 2017, 05:41:30 PM
I can't complete recaptcha captchas, I click on them, it reloads a bit and a message appears saying "Cannot contact recaptcha. Check your internet connection and try again". Now I can't access most of Bitcoin sites as it's necessary to solve captchas to login.

The internet is working. Anyone already faced any issue like this?
3314  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Faucets? on: March 10, 2017, 05:26:32 PM
Yes, there are people using these services yet. Surely the number of users decreased a lot since two years ago, as the rewards decreased without adsense income. The services are still alive and working, so there are people using them. Low profit, but useful for poor gamblers that don't have money to start betting with money from their pockets.
3315  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think the transaction fee will kill bitcoin? on: March 10, 2017, 05:22:31 PM
If the transaction fee continues so high like now or higher there is a possibility to kill Bitcoin. Nobody wants to spend a lot of money just to move their money over the internet, people are using Bitcoins to make their profit when dealing with money higher, but with high fees it's impossible. I agree with what was said above, let your BTCs quiet and wait for a solution. I'm sure there will be one.
3316  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [Beta] CoinMafia - Play Free Game & Collect Rewards - Feedback needed on: March 10, 2017, 04:50:25 PM
I like everything in the game except one thing: cops. They are stealing my money.

Yes, I lost all my money in 4 consecutive clicks on pickpocketing crime. More than 200 coins and my balance became negative.

They get too much of our coins like 75 and 100 coins...
3317  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [Beta] CoinMafia - Play Free Game & Collect Rewards - Feedback needed on: March 10, 2017, 12:37:44 AM
The site is loading very slow here.

Is it happening with more anyone else?
3318  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are dice sites reliable? on: March 10, 2017, 12:32:47 AM
Most dice sites offer the "third party verification" feature.

Provably fair was created mainly to ensure that dice sites are reliable!

That's true, but I'd still stick to more established and reputable casinos. Provably fair doesn't guarantee you will be allowed to win and cash out.
It's easy to implement provably fair function and then take people's winnings and close the site down.

Yes... Only provably fair isn't enough as proof of a reliable casino. The casino can be provably fair and scam everybody when gamblers try to cashout or any moment saying the site was hacked or any other thing like this...

I just play at reliable sites, those trusted sites here on Bitcointalk forum. New casinos and unknown casinos can be good, but I prefer to play at the old and trusted casinos.
3319  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BU - Bitcoin Unlimited on: March 10, 2017, 12:19:30 AM
Hello,

So there are is big battle going between Segwit and Bitcoin Unlimited. I have some questions about Bitcoin Unlimited.

What if Bitcoin Unlimited will win the battle;
1) Will it be easier to mine bitcoin again? (Like at the beginning of bitcoin)
2) Will the transactions go though faster? Right now there are 40k unconfirmed transactions

3) What other benefits does Bitcoin Unlimited have except there are unlimited Bitcoins?

4) What do you think it will do to the price? Many people say it will MOON, but when there is unlimited resource of something I only see it dumping..

Thanks for answering my question. I greatly appreciate it Smiley

1.  No.  It won't, it'll still be pretty hard, probably less profitable in fact because far more transactions would be in each block as I recall.  It would still be a strong enough business for the major companies though.

2.  Yes.  Much, much, much faster, which is the point for both SegWit and Bitcoin Unlimited - pretty much the only point.

3.  I can't really answer this.  Transactions will be faster, there won't be unlimited Bitcoins - mining rewards will stay the same as far as I know and the max will always be 21 million to be reached in 2040.

4.  It will go higher because Bitcoin can become commonly adopted as transactions are more convenient.

As bitkilo said, I have a lot of research to do; but why is it called Bitcoin unlimited if the max is still 21 MIllion?

Edit: Oh, it is the block size instead of the amount that can be mined.

The "Bitcoin Unlimited" name just makes reference to the removing block size limit.

3320  Economy / Speculation / Re: prices are constantly changing how to predict the price of bitcoin? on: March 09, 2017, 11:33:02 PM
With or without important annoucements Bitcoin price changes a lot and it's unpredictable to know exactly what will happen. If you want to sell something for Bitcoins you need to change the price everytime and if you look the Bitcoin stuff shops, they are always changing the prices and the costs of rewards and gifts. At least it give us an opportunity to make profit every time.
