2501  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino investment tracking on: May 24, 2017, 06:21:04 PM
Very nice, I was looking for this kind of list to see some suggestions about which casino sites to invest. I didn't try BitDice yet and it looks a good idea to start a investment and see what happens. You are making a good profit, possible to grow your money 10% monthly or more! I don't know any other investment too good like this, principally in real world for fiat. Good luck!

Thanks, just be aware it's not 100% sure profit. As you can see ( link in the second post ) the other guy lost 30% in 5 weeks with bitvest. Luckily it was compensated by other site profits, so I suggest to use multiple small investments rather than one big.

Yes, it's always good to split investments among some sites, but 30% loss in 5 weeks seems too much, no? I have never seen someone losing so much money in this period of time, maybe he used too high leverage level?

Yes, 30% down is huge but who knows what happend. I did'n watch the site that time so can't tell.
Could be caused by high leverage and probably is ( I don't know if he mention investment details, I do  Wink  )

BUT can tell e.g. safedice bankroll has been almost entirely wipeout some year ago

AND I also recall opposite case happened with betking ( made me more than 30% profit when some whale lost 1200BTC in few minutes (see here)... I was just lucky enough to invest right before this happened.

So yea, such thing happens and it's pretty unpredictable.

I think SafeDice is the most dangerous site to invest as the house edge there is the lowest among all casinos (0.5%). I have an investment there, never have had any big loss, but never have had any big profit also. Most of the time the investment stays stable. At same time it's a good casino to invest because lower edge attracts many gamblers, which means more traffic, people spending money, etc... I think if I keep low leverage level I'm safe.  Cheesy
2502  Economy / Speculation / Re: If I showed you this a year ago, would you have believed me? on: May 24, 2017, 05:46:09 PM
I would believe, last year Bitcoin was pricing $1600-$1800, and the predictions were very good about the price in 2017. Many people thought BTC would hit $2000 in end of December, beginning of January and $2500 near half 2017 year (where we are now). Many people bought Bitcoins last year predicting prices like this we are seeing at this moment and they made a really good profit until now.
2503  Economy / Economics / Re: Difference of Trading and Investing? on: May 24, 2017, 05:12:40 PM
both of them is difference, but to make it easier to understand, when you investing, you trust your money to someone and you don't need and can't do anything with your money until certain period, when you trading, you used your skill and knowledge to generate profit and you need to some work in trading, you need to pay attention to the chart and keep the updated news everyday

so when investing you depend on somebody else when trading you depend on yourself
Yes when you invest its like you are taking a risk cause you will give your money to someone. and just wait for it to double and get some addition money. but there is also a time that you may be scam so please be careful so that youll not regret it in the end.
In trading you just trade your money into another type. you need to be wise for you to earn some money.

LOL. The things you mentioned that differentiated these two things are pretty much the same and it just goes to show that there's really not much difference between investing and trading. Trading can be considered as an investment in itself if even by the definitions that you've mentioned above

Yes, trading can be a modality of investment, as you invest money on it to try making the money grow with your skills (and luck) while exchaging currencies, one to another. On this kind of investment (trading), you invest your money and your time, and there is high risk involved, so it's not very adviced for everyone as was already said above.

There isn't difference between trading and investment, it's better to classify it by risk, more or less risky investments.
2504  Economy / Economics / Re: Fidelity adopts bitcoin! on: May 24, 2017, 04:43:55 PM
The most interesting is what lies behind this. If Fidelity is mining bitcoins itīs because itīs thinking of bitcoin as an investment. They will have done their analysis and will come to the conclusion that Bitcoin's price will be higher in the future so they want to have bitcoins. They have two options, to buy or to mine. Taking into account the current price and calculating the mining costs they are testing with this option because they think it will be more profitable for them. On the other hand accepting bitcoin in their cafeteria allows them to study closely their daily operation while exploring how to make microtransactions. Their cafeteria is like a testing lab.

Exactly. Fidelity will not easily jump on bitcoin is they haven't researched enough. I think they say a good chance of putting investment to gain rewards or profit in the future. But still, consider it a good news because every industry now are getting their hands to this so called "bitcoin" because profit is there. Welcome aboard to the moonwagon Fidelity.

But how will they accept Bitcoin as payment in their caffeteria if transactions take so long to be confirmed?

Surely the profit is very good, especially on long term, when the BTC price hits higher prices, but it's not full developed yet to be accepted as payment for stores like caffeterias. Bitcoin transactions don't work for little amounts yet and some people here say Bitcoin isn't made to buy cheap stuff, like coffee.
2505  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Bitcoins now, At this price, It Isn't working on: May 24, 2017, 04:32:52 PM
If you want to buy to sell soon, yes, you are right, it won't work... But if you want to buy now to hold for a long period of time, it still worth, because Bitcoin won't stay in $2400 forever. The price is always increasing and even more, I think you shouldn't be worried about it, Bitcoin is still a good investment even when it hits high prices like now.
2506  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I looked for three days, $120? on: May 24, 2017, 03:50:27 PM
I could say if you were very lucky depending your initial bankroll amount. With a big bankroll it's very easy to make $120 profit with few bets. With a low bankroll you need to risk yourself more times betting a lot, if so, you are very lucky... With 1 BTC or 0.5 BTC it's very possible to make $120 profit relatively easy (about 5%-10% of bankroll).
2507  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is it dangerous to store all bitcoin in 1 address? on: May 24, 2017, 03:13:27 PM
I like to split the Bitcoins among some investments, it's upon to you to decide how many places you want to store your Bitcoins, but for me I prefer to let it always generating passive income even if it's too little, better than nothing and my money is growing on long term. To let all money together in one place is too dangerous, don't do it. Find some legit investments you have interest and split your money, that is my hint.
2508  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Money Is Literally Pouring Into Bitcoin on: May 24, 2017, 03:09:38 PM
I think its like the saying, any news is good publicity!

the recent ransomware virus reached all news bulletins and the great
thing was they were looking for  B I T C O I N  as payment, this brought
Bitcoin again into the public domain, Print, Radio, T.V and Online
and may not have been a bad thing at all!

there has also been a lot of positive news lately regarding Japan and Australia
this can also serve to attract new people into Bitcoin.

Ransomware has nothing to do with price rise. Attacks like this happened before and actualy are happening all the time but don't influence Bitcoin price in positive way. I would say that there is some interest and some big power behind this price movement. Let's just hope nothing bad will happen.

I fully agree with you. The attacks asking for BTCs would influence Bitcoin negatively and it didn't happen, so I believe it was insignificant. About the interests behind this high BTC movement is still an incognit, maybe the billionaries are migrating part of their fortunes to Bitcoins... The price movement is absurdly increasing!
2509  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: i have a heck of a good feeling on: May 24, 2017, 04:16:37 AM
even though <<< whoever you think is to blame >>> almost totally fucked up and killed bitcoin,  it seems like we'll be able to move forward.  Great days are ahead.  Main stream hasn't even gotten on board yet.  I'm thinking Bitcoin will be $100k within 10 years.

HODL!!!
Hope you are right about it,
But for me $100k in the next 10 years seems so unrealistic/

its less than 2 orders of magnitude.    How many people on the street out of 100 do you think know about bitcoin, let alone have any

the correct question is "how many people on the street do you think want to invest in bitcoin"
otherwise many have heard about it, even many have gone and did some research about it but not that many were willing to invest. many are scared of it being unregulated, many scared of it being in a bubble, many fall for the FUD that always exist,....
and that is why the adoption have always been slow.

Mass population will only want to invest in Bitcoins if media and influent people start promoting it (or governments). Biggest part of population are like sheeps leaded by someone who has control over them. It works like this in almost all camps: music, movies, fashion... Just sometimes the establishment loses control over the flock.

i disagree.
the examples you gave are "spending their money" on music, movies, fashion,... and yeah for that they are sheep.
but when it comes to investing their money i have seen people be more careful, although still reckless in some cases. but in total they are mostly scared and not willing to invest when they see the high volatility combined with all the FUD repeating bitcoin is dead, gonna drop, etc.

Not only "spending their money", but a liking question. There are "reputable" agencies, organizations, celebrities saying what is good and what is bad (like Oscar prize says what movies are good, television or radios playing certain musics all day long to spread what musics are good, celebrities advertising products...).

Bitcoin seems risky at first look, but the volatility is only helping as since much time ago the price is constantly increasing and not the opposite.
I don't know from where you are, but if a icon of your country media starts advertising BTC on the televison or even internet I'm sure many people will follow his/her lead.  Cheesy
2510  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to increase BTC? on: May 24, 2017, 03:10:24 AM
there's a various ways to increase your bitcoin just by doing nothing or just by investing in sites that are trusted but make sure that the site you are going to invest your money must be legit.
There are many ways to increase your bitcoin and some of those way are Mining, signatures campaign on this forum, save your bitcoin and sell it when it price increases, trading and buying cheap coins and sell them at a high price and converts it to bitcoin. For example yesterday zcash was very cheap but now zcash has made over 100% returned this money.
but how much can you earn from signature campaign they can give you such amount of money that may be enough for your daily use, but f you want some saving then you have to invest your money in bitcoin for trading, because form trading you have better chances to make more and more bitcoin and secure your future as bitcoin value is increasing from time to time and becoming more and more valuable.

Signature campaigns from this forum may not give you much but it could help you to grow your bitcoin, besides there are some altcoin signature campaign that were being held at this forum. joining from them has a lot of potential that the coin will be successful and you can gain a lot more if you just hold the coin that you got.
Signature campaign is one of the best way to increase your bitcoin because of its easy tasks and common way which is just posting here in our forum and you will earn money after that. Altcoin signature campaign is also a good campaign especially if you have at least senior member rank account because you can earn high amount of bitcoin there depending on being successful of the project.

Signature campaigns for BTC are good, but most of Alt Coin signatures I think don't worth very much... Alt Coins are always failing and you lose your time by promoting a fail project that won't return money to you (as payment for your service) and won't return anything for people who wants to invest on it... The only chance to make profit by joining Alt Coin campaigns (At least on the most) is if you receive your payment and sell everything really fast for the best price possible!  Cheesy

2512  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Coinbase is down on: May 24, 2017, 02:00:01 AM
Coinbase seems to be working well with me. Maybe their maintenance is already done. Try checking it out again OP. And base on their status, they are investigating into something that leads to their site for down time.

Here it's unavailable for maintenance reason (that is what they say). Nothing we can do about it now, just wait.

I think there isn't reason to fear now, it's a trusted service and soon as possible they will come back online again. That is what their status says:

"Investigating - We're looking into reports of customers incorrectly receiving CVN verification errors and 24 hour lockouts when attempting to verify new credit or debit cards. Bank account verification remains online as an alternative."
2513  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: The best cloud mining site !!! on: May 24, 2017, 01:03:12 AM
mostly cloud mining sites are scam I joined cloud mining site before but they did not pay me. Better do trading or join signature campaign  and social media campaign.

I believe everyone joined a cloud mining investment at least once, it's normal. The important is to learn with our mistakes, in this case with the cloud mining investment, but some people keep doing the same mistake again and again and don't stop losing money with cloud minings (the HYIPs and the non profitable "legit" cloud minings), it's because these people schemes like this still exist.

2515  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Drugs with Bitcoin ? on: May 23, 2017, 11:09:32 PM
I think it is yes they are using bitcoin to buy drugs from dark net they want the transaction clean no one knows where did you use your bitcoin right? It remains anonymous and it will be shown as normal transaction maybe those terrorist are using bitcoins too or those illegal drug users who are always using bitcoin for them to buy drugs from internet.

Bitcoin is pseudo anonymous, but the drug itself isn't. Who buys drugs need to receive it somehow, via post office for an example. If the country's vigilance is good enough and if there is technology, it's easy to track drugs and get who is trafficking it, committing this crime. The problem is that the responsibles for getting these thieves don't do their work correctly, most of times they receive bribery to stay quietly...

Easy and fast to claim, got 55 satoshis, thank you.

It's possible to keep the rates as the good prizes will rarely be rolled by users.

Would be nice to have FaucetHub.io withdraw option too.

It won't work. Good programmers, faucet owners tried several secret tricks to make Adsense accept them without problems and it didn't last longer, especially when Adsense increased the vigilance to ban all faucet owners.

If it worked, faucet industry wouldn't be so failed like now... Only few faucets survive on long term, all the others trying to pay average rewards finish after days or weeks.

This is because most faucet sites are scams! Good that Adsense is banning them.

Faucets aren't being banned because they are scam (and most of them aren't, they pay instantly to BTC address), they are being banned because it's against Google Adsense terms as faucet owners offer rewards to make people use the site. Any kind of reward for views or clicks is forbidden by Adsense rules.

Please, can you point me to three faucet sites for Bitcoin, litecoin, ethereum or dogecoin that have been proven to have paid claims directly to participants wallets, apart from the moondogecoin, moon litecoin and moonbtc. Most of these faucets don't allow you withdraw after you might have met with the required withdrawal limit.  I have had a terrible experience with many faucets, and I know what I am talking about.

Instantly paying faucets are like random, I don't know how to list them, you can just find a rotator (faucet list) and start claiming, each claim you does will send X satoshis directly to FaucetHub.io, Epay or any other micro payment system.

The famous original faucets are more popular, like FaucetGame network, DwarvenBitmine, FreeBitco.in (all legit)... Avoid faucets with high threshold and too high rewards, those are the real scam faucets.
2519  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Freebitco.in as a wallet? on: May 23, 2017, 05:36:51 AM
Thanks for that link.

Ok, their thread was only created this month so I can only assume that they've copied FreeBitco.in with their plan to pay interest.

Simply put, i'm glad they did. All bitcoin wallets should be paying interest to compensate us all for the trust (and therefore risk) we place with them!

Yobit's rate paid on BTC is higher than FreeBitco.in, but their rate isn't sustainable.

Here are the differences:
  • They pay 0.2% per day, which equals 73% PER YEAR. This isn't possible, friends, this is absolutely an HYIP. Someone check my math. A daily rate multiplied by 365 days in a year calculates the annual rate, yes?
  • Their minimum investment is much higher than FreeBitco.in; They require 0.01BTC, we only require 30,000 satoshi

FreeBitco.in's daily rate is 0.0109589% x 365 = 4%. It's lower, but it's realistic. There is zero risk that we won't be able to pay you for the long term.

That said, make the choice that best works for you! Whatever you do...make sure you're getting paid interest from your online wallet!

I think you made some misunderstanding with yobiy.net exchange because here I am looking that the yobit.net is giving more interest then freebitco.in

How much interest in yobit.net giving you and account holders?

Can you share a link please? Thanks!

Hi, I'm not sure, but probably he is saying about this new option Yobit launched. I opened a thread days ago about it, you can check here, there is a picture too, so you can see how much they are offering:

I must agree those rates are high, I have my doubts about it as well, that is why I created the thread asking for more opinions about the investment... It was introduced really recently, let's see how that will work and if that will really works.

Anyway, Frebitco.in interest is good too if investor has a good amount to invest and as you are working since 2013 you have already built a positive reputation among the Bitcoin enthusiasts, that is good reason to invest at Freebitco.in.
