2681  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you like best about bitcoin? on: May 08, 2017, 06:55:56 PM
Easy to move around, I wish it was supported everywhere as a payment method. I'm tired of governments deciding what to do with my money.

Bitcoin makes it easy for me to shop online. I used to have to use other ecurrency a bit troublesome when want to make payment or shopping. But, after bitcoin in adoption as a means of payment by online store, I really feel no more trouble in transaction.

Yeah I do some work online and unfortunately I get the payments in USD so it is a pain in the ass to transfer it between companies/countries. Not to mention trust. I feel alot safer when i do bitcoin transactions.

You can exchange your dollars to BTCs online. There are middleman services that could help you. It's always better to keep our money in Bitcoins, as we are growing our money along the time as the Bitcoin price is constantly increasing, that is one of the aspects I like about Bitcoin. Our money isn't idle, it's always growing just by holding it in BTCs!
2682  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to play gambling in a smart way? on: May 08, 2017, 05:59:40 PM
1. Gamble what you can afford to lose.
2. Do not consider it as a source of income. Better make it as entertainment.
3. Risk management.

Example:
Your monthly salary is $250. Your cost of living is $200. You save $40, put the $10 in a betting site. Your pot is $10(100%)
Risk 1% of your pot. Set a goal to achieve(Ex. 5% of total). When you win, stop. When you lose, stop. Go back tomorrow. Repeat.

If you want easy money then go bust your account in one day. Happened to me a dozen times. Never again.

That is a good simple tutorial for who wants to play gambling in a smart way and don't know how to do it. Doing what you said I'm sure the gamblers won't lose money they can't lose and they will be always under control of the game. Anyway, we can't predict if doing this the gambler will have profit, as on long term he will be losing money slowly, because the house edge...
2683  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which is the best way to earn btc on: May 08, 2017, 05:55:10 PM
It depends a lot, what is the best method for me maybe isn't the best method for you. For who has much money to invest (fiat), I believe the best method is to buy and hold. It's easy as you already have the initial capital to start, but for those who doesn't have money to invest the best method to earn BTCs is to find a online job and if they don't have any skill, the best method for them is to earn via easy/simple low paying tasks.

Each kind of person has his own best method to earn, more indicated and appropriated.

Good for you globalists, let's talk in few years or even months about it...

Just to don't forget <snake dance, the globalists dance>: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jl5CuCmePBw  Wink

Another win for the globalists.

I don't know who is the globalist , Macron or Le Pen, a french candidate , member of the EU parliament who was sponsored by  a Russian investment bank through a Czech branch.

Ahh, it's too obvious, just look the side where Obama, Merkel, Soros are and you find the globalist puppets.

Macron's winning is a big tap up for bitcoin and crypto currencies. I read from http://www.reddit.com/r/bitcoin that his is a bitcoin enthusiast and very soon we should expect bitcoin and others crypto currencies to jump up as France is expected to legalized crypto currencies very soon.

He doesn't need to do anything about Bitcoin or Crypto-Currency, just let people use it as they use now. I know the progressist scum, they look so full of good intentions and when people are already resigned by their charms, they execute the final strike and your free speech, free will is gone!

Legalized Crypto Currency is not good, it means you need to pay more fees and it finishes the decentralized philosophy.

10-50 satoshis is too low reward. Many faucets like this appear here and don't survive for 1 week...

No problem for me if you use pop-ups, at least it can give us the opportunity to claim a better reward from your faucet, because 10-50 satoshis is worthless for everyone... Sorry to say this, but it's worse than PTC site reward.

"Send to 14vDhK178te3FydGcu8HbcVuWwDZcQvQSZ in 6 satoshi. - Status : processing"

I thought I would see a message like: "X satoshis sent to your FaucetHub.io account", but no...

Anyway, the reward is too low, I'm sure nobody will use a faucet like this to earn few satoshis every 5 minutes. You need to increase the rewards if you want traffic on your site.

We had exchanged a few PMs and it's been a while since then. I thought I'd drop a message here, since you were worrying about FH being "new" and might have "security" issues when it first launched. It's been over 5 months since then, and we've taken over the faucet scene.

More than 60% of faucet industry coins are going through faucethub, and it can be seen on the stats page.
You remember that I offered you a direct withdraw option from faucethub to your site. That was the reason I approached today.

I'm not sure if your "community manager" consulted you before posting what he posted, but I find this very unprofessional and disappointing.

Anyway, forget I even asked you (wetsuit) to add FH as a withdraw option.

Wish you good luck with your business.

-mex

I endorse mexicantarget, althought the FaucetHub.io service is alive since 5 months ago, he is an active member here on BitcoinTalk Forum since years ago and since I knew him he helped many people to make BTC profit by creating his original projects sites (faucets). Good support, no scam attempts, always transparent and professional with his users.

Also, who uses FaucetHub.io has extra advantages when using faucets, as the micro payment system has extra features that we can't find on another site of the same genre.

2691  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a source of income? on: May 08, 2017, 03:23:08 AM
I would not recommend you to totally leave your job and earn mostly through bitcoins.Have a real job and spend 10% of your income in bitcoins or any other cryptocurrency.
Doing a part time job with cryptocurrency as a mode of signature campaign s mostly benefitted for students, for adults it is not totally worth it at all.

Bitcoin is good as an extra income source for most people, but nor as full income source, I agree with you. But for students this extra income is very important as they don't have jobs, just study and probably have much free time, on their free time they can start earning Bitcoins on the internet, it's easy and simple if they have English knowledge and if they are able to interact with the BTC community.

This way, when they reach to a more advanced age and finish school, they will already have a good amount in money to start investing.
2692  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: earn money with lending btc?! on: May 08, 2017, 02:48:31 AM
I am not very favorable to lending money, even with the use of collateral. Almost all of the Bitcoin users are anonymous, and therefore the risk is much higher than lending fiat cash to someone.
It depends, lending is good business if you have big amount of capital and yeah it is very risky method but you will lessen that by asking a collateral and just choose the users who have positive trust or higher rank.

I agree if you do have a big capital and really it is risky though if it will be a success then you can earn a ton of profit from it. Though we all know that sometimes we are get scam from someone that is borrowing your money but that is business. Though i am agree that you could earn a ton of profit from it but it is risky but you cant earn any profits without risky some of your money

It doesn't worth very much, with a decent big capital you can earn much more from casino bankroll investments (and the risk compared to someone scam you is lower). The only risk is if the casino closes and run away, but if you choose a good site the risk is very low and you can enjoy a nice profit from it, at least a larger profit than lending money at Poloniex or any other exchange.
2693  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Xapo wallet sucks. Stole $10 worth of Bitcoin until I provide all types of ID's on: May 08, 2017, 01:25:53 AM
Xapo, Coinbase or other centralized service/wallet/exchange is bound to respect official AML/KYC law. Which is borderline idiotic at times.
They might have other local rules like ban or freeze your account because they find out you are using their wallet to send money to gambling services.
Bitcoin was invented exactly to battle this kind of situation where you account can be suspended by 3rd party service.
The only online wallet I know which never banned/froze/suspended an account is blockchain.info

It's better to avoid centralized services related to BTC here on the internet. First, they want to make you believe their service is very good, you have advantages when using it (no fees on transactions), but next, they start showing their real face. You need to start paying for transactions, you need to send them your personal informations... That is what happened until now, let's see what happens in the future.

Makes no sense to use centralized wallets for a decentralized currency.
2694  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much have you lost / win on Bitcoin dice ? on: May 08, 2017, 12:40:30 AM
How much have you lost / win on Bitcoin dice ?
and where ?

All together I have lost 0.15 on roulette and 0.04 on dice. This is over a my entire gambling since I began untill now. It is not so bad. I no longer play roulette and I seldom gamble I only gamble if I feel lucky. It is just superstition but we never know when a big win comes. I use to gamble for profits but that didn't work I was heading for trouble.

You can recover your losses really fast with a big bankroll as you didn't lose much money... You just need few big bets with a decent bankroll, so you can recover your money and decide if you want to continue or not. On short term the chances are with you. However, just bet the amount you are afford to lose, use a big bankroll only if you can do it.
2695  Economy / Economics / Re: African country adopts Bitcoin as primary currency on: May 08, 2017, 12:24:23 AM
That is not good if really happens... Who wants to adopt it as primary currency will be the government, what means they will tax their people to use Bitcoins, what means less profit for the citizens and more profit for governments. Bitcoin should be used as it is now everywhere, people use it, use local currency, governments don't matter about it and everyone is happy...
2696  Other / Off-topic / Re: is worth to buy bitcoins? on: May 08, 2017, 12:17:21 AM
Not worth this days because you need a big money to invest because the price of bitcoin is already at high so to buy 1 bitcoin you need also a big money to invest but when you buy bitcoin in a low price thats really worth of investment for you.

But if you don't buy now you will need to pay much more later for 1 BTC. The price doesn't stop to increase and on long term you will have profit, so buy it now and make profit in few years or even months. It's always time to buy Bitcoins, for me it's a safe investment, worth the money you spend on it and the time you spend looking for BTC news and methods of earnings. Nothing to fear here.  Wink
2697  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Cloud mining/Investing or trading on localbitcoins? on: May 07, 2017, 11:56:05 PM
Trading imo is better and safer, however if you want to invwst in cloud mining its cheaper to just buy someones account that theyve bought mining stuff on.

Trading is the best and safer if you are going to compare it to cloud mining. Cloud mining is not considered by people here and most of us when hearing those investments, we are avoiding it immediately because we know they have a plan on just to scam the people. So it's better if you are going to avoid those type of investment.

Yes, cloud mining is a terrible investment, at least trading you will have a chance to grow your coins amount, while in cloud mining you are just losing money on long term. I wouldn't say trading is safer, because it's very risky, but cloud mining is something you have sure will fail, while in trading you have some chances to make profit, it will depend your prediction.
2698  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to control greed on gambling? on: May 07, 2017, 05:35:04 PM
Greed affects the profit. It is very important to control it. Try to set a limit when you go to play. Always plan that you will spend only some fixed amount today and strictly follow it. This way you can save overspending.

Absolutely, if you extend your limit you never know what will happen
You are right, people should have goals when we talk about gambling. It's not necessary to go forward and achieve our limits, because we can affect a lot our financial situation and this is too bad for the current life. Control ourself is important thing when we do gambling. Greed should be deleted.

The problem with goals is that people will be greedy until they achieve the goals set. The best way to control greed on gambling is playing with determined amount of money only, if you lose that amount, stop playing, if you won, stop playing as well and come back later or another day. It's hard to control greedy when you have much free time and much money... If you have difficulties to control it, try to have interest in other activities and stop thinking on gambling for a while.
2699  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Slow payments and fees solution??? on: May 07, 2017, 05:31:16 PM
I don't use Xapo, but Coinbase wallet used the same system of free transaction and after some time they removed it, now you must pay fees there. I believe the same will happen on Xapo sooner or later, transactions can be free now for Xapo users, but aren't for Xapo itself. The only solution for this is a general solution that will afect all transactions, that is what community is trying to implement, but the opinions are divided yet about the best option.
2700  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: May 07, 2017, 03:01:32 AM
Not soon, not in the far future.
I don't think bitcoin will replace any kind of currency. Never. First, the government wants control over the economy, so does the banks. With bitcoin, no one has control. Bitcoin may be more widely accepted around the world, but only has an optional way to pay.

Yes, good point. And I think there isn't a necessity to replace dollar. We can have all the currencies working very well, if people have the right to choose what currency to use, no problem. What can't exist are governments forbiding their people to adopt Crypto-Currency, that is wrong. Anyway, dollar is too strong and it will continue leading the world for much time yet, and I think there aren't disadvantages on it.
