Funny, this coming from a guy who recently posted sage advice he is refusing to follow himself:
Really camcoin has no innovation, a shitcoin why would anyone want to spread fud about it? . . .Please don't believe what the devs say their lying to you, try not to get blinded by your emotions. You invested quite abit into this coin and you'll convince yourself to believe anything the devs say just to avoid realizing that your investment was wasted.

Have you even read this thread through, from the beginning, every page? I have.

The 'Dev' dreamed up a nonsensical idea and then started asking who you think he should get to code it! When I posted the picture of his mining rig he posted a picture of 'one' mining account to show he'd only mined it a little. That's absurd, I could show you pictures of one mining account where I have mined a little, but I also have a ton of other accounts where I have mined a lot (not this coin, I wouldn't touch it with your rig).

Ask yourself this, what's more likely, that the Dev is steadily dumping a load of coins that you are unaware belong to him on the market all the while claiming trading-bots and people with money to burn are buying high and selling low, or that the dev, even though he has industrial mining capabilities, didn't mine the crap out of this coin and there is a conspiracy of rich and powerful whales all throwing their money away in order to buy high and sell low on this coin so they can destroy it?

What.Is.More.Likely?

Fine, whatever, I tried.

See you on the flip-side people. I'll be back to give my genuine commiserations in due course.

Guys, come on! What's it going to take to make you try a little critical thinking exercise?

The dev has industrial mining capabilities and could easily have mined himself a ton of this coin during the 7 day PoW phase, but you still want to believe all this dumping that's happening in the market is down to his claimed 'enemy-Bots' and a conspiracy by 'dark forces' to kill his coin? Who would waste their money buying high and selling low? Why? What possible reason would anyone have to bother 'suppressing' the dev's absurd coin?

Think it through, people.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, there are too many people leeching off the crypto-currency scene with pointless gambling games that do nothing for the coin and are simply designed to allow their creators to take cryptocoins from the gullible.

Nobody buys PINK in order to go play 'spin the wheel' on a website that merely offers a coin-themed layout. I've got a toilet I can always go throw my cash into if I wanted to waste money.

A fully-fledged poker app from the PINK dev team, sure, that's interesting and has potential, but please will people stop spamming coin threads with their own 'games' that aren't even games of skill, they're simply click-and-lose revolving doors with a set formulae for ensuring the house takes a profit right out of your pocket.

@BadAss - Seriously? You think the dev team owes you constant reassurance?

What the hell is wrong with you man? You invest in the project because it's a good project, not because your coin purchase should result in hand-holding and tummy-rubs 24/7.

tim14 has suggested incorporating a community donation function in the wallet to cover rewards, bounties and project costs.

Is it something you can fit in with your current schedule Dev? He mentions that Heavycoin had something that could be used from their wallet involving a voting method that could be adapted to create a system whereby we commit funds that allow people to 'green light' spending based on approval of disbursements being issued, as opposed to simply sending it all to a single person to manage.

If you're going to have a mascot at all,

Let me just stop you there, no, there's no need for a mascot, at all.

Patrick's our mascot. Cheesy

To be honest, I'll be happy if this coin project stays off the P&D radar. I have no doubt the dev would too.

In my experience, 'Wall Street' hype-meme postings and scaremongering FUD are the sign that the kids have got in to the sweetie-jar. That and the incessant 'TA' graphs being posted, talking about double-tops and head-and-shoulders-breakouts, and all that bollox.

I prefer a coin to have substance and utility.

Yeah, seriously, mascots? Swing and a miss HitBTC. Swing and a miss.

I think he has lost his phone before and with wallet open that Could be a nice find for a potential thief.

Well if that was what he was thinking, he's an arrogant moron, as unlocking your wallet for staking does not unlock it for spending. Your phone could be stolen and, as long as you did as you should and had created a backup key, you would just download a new wallet and import it.

But, sure, maybe there was some *really* smart reason why he posted his smart-ass answer. I could be wrong, it has happened on occasion.

I'm marketing/comms professional

Great, maybe for things you don't have time for but that you know would be an important facet of promoting this coin ready for launching the new wallet, you can outsource and we'll cover the costs where necessary. Can you start by listing some milestones that you would consider essential and how much they would cost?
3332  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BITS][BITSTAR] MULTIPOOL LIVE ★ POS ★ New features coming soon! on: July 10, 2014, 10:32:44 AM
a staking android wallet is very much work.

It wouldn't have to have staking, just the functionality that is coming in the new wallet.
3333  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BITS][BITSTAR] MULTIPOOL LIVE ★ POS ★ New features coming soon! on: July 10, 2014, 10:25:29 AM
Only 21 million coins, this coind should be like 0.01

Where do you get 21mil from? It's maximum will be 54mil after a few years but, right now, there's only 15.4mill in circulation. The rest will come with staking.

If your asking that question..nothing I can say , will elaborate enough for you.

Blimey, you're a useful person to have in a conversation. Thanks for dropping by.

i wouldn't be staking with my phone.. why risk losing a lot of coins?

What makes you think you would risk losing your coins?
3337  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BITS][BITSTAR] MULTIPOOL LIVE ★ POS ★ New features coming soon! on: July 10, 2014, 09:24:41 AM
There is an issue with the fact that some people are still running the previous wallet to the current one, causing the staking to not be as smooth as it otherwise would be.

The upcoming wallet will block the staking on outdated wallets.

In the meantime, what skills do you bring to the table that could earn you some BITS? I'm putting out a call for more community involvement and if you can offer something up you could end up with a nice extra chunk of coins to be staking with when the new wallet hits.

With regards to cross-platform wallet launches, Qadraq says he's got some C++ skills, I just want to hear from the dev before we can agree on a bounty for something that big, that it could be doable in the same timeframe remaining before the main wallet launches. It would be awesome to have Android and/or iOS wallets released at the same time.

3338  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BITS][BITSTAR] MULTIPOOL LIVE ★ POS ★ New features coming soon! on: July 10, 2014, 07:26:43 AM
Reminder: Total amount of coins 54256119 (54.25 million) -  Currently 15.4m in circulation (How many BTC or LTC are in circulation!?!)

This coin had a six-week POW period, far more than most POW/PoS projects being released over the last month, meaning there are likely to be many more people owning BITS.

It also means, as I have previously pointed out, that there is only one way to gain additional coins without having to pay for them, and that is to stake. Keep some BITS on the exchanges for a little profit taking as the markets move, sure, but you should have as much of your holdings staking as you can, which means moving them to your wallet and unlocking it for staking.

It strengthens the network and rewards you with more coins, what's not to love?

Ok, let's have some numbers.

Dev, how much should the community pay for someone to create an Android or Apple OS wallet in partnership with you so we can see a release of the new wallet across platforms?

What's realistic in both cost and timeframe? Can we get this accomplished so the new wallet blows everybody away regardless of their O/S preference?

It still feels special to those of us who share your vision..

Yes, I'd have to agree, the expectations and demands for instantaneous results from some community members in this industry are staggeringly unrealistic, in my opinion.

This coin project is still above and beyond many others.

Patrick, you and the rest of the team have no reason to feel you are not doing enough when what you have accomplished in such a short time is so extraordinary.
