3321  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bull trap or lasting on: August 01, 2021, 11:06:58 AM
Dear all

I think, this is bullrun continuation. But some people say bull trap. If 43000 btc break , unstoppable
How could it be unstoppable if $43K BTC broke? will the price of BTC continue to fly as it did in April? because ATH BTC was in April this year and now the price is still not close to the ATH price that BTC has ever achieved.

Obviously, we have reach ATH in April and after that the market went down in the next 2-3 months, even a massive fall to greater than 50%. But now we have seen record breaking green candles not seen for a long time, that's why speculators are saying that we are in another bull run or at least the price will not to good to levels of $28k, (lowest low after that ATH), and the OP is asking for our opinion.

Really hard to see if this is just a fake out break because as I have said, consecutive candles is a strong indication that we still might see a good spike in the next coming weeks. Whether new ATH or breaking $50k, it seems that the market has rebounded already.
3322  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: August 01, 2021, 10:30:52 AM
It was really good to see a different final and a different champion in the 20/21 season actually. But in this new season, I think that there are two big candidates for the title. They are Los Angeles Lakers and Brooklyn Nets. As of Westbrook's joining Lakers, they will be even much more stronger than before. Nets are already very strong with KD - Irving - Harden trio. They just struggled with injuries many times in the last season.

Of course no one thought that the Suns and Bucks are going to face each other in the finals.

We have Nets with their big 3 and then Lebron and AD as defending champions, unfortunately injury sets in and it's good to see the Suns and Bucks fighting it hard in 6 games.

But with so many movements and trades right now, specially the news about WB joining the Lakers, it will be another interesting season. Coaches and players are moving and trading to find the perfect fit to their teams. Let's hope that we will see a injury free season, specially for high caliber players.
3323  Economy / Speculation / Re: TESLA will re-accept bitcoin & SpaceX owns BTC, said Elon Musk. Ready for pump ? on: August 01, 2021, 09:43:10 AM
A lot of guys in the Cryptocurrency world are tired of Elon his and that. I am just looking forward to a cryptocurrency community that doesn't give a damn about Musk's opinions on certain cryptocurrencies before they invest into or a time when his support for a crypto doesn't amount to greater accessibility.
Not everyone is really following Elon Musk, as you said, a lot of guys are tired of him anymore, these are the people who followed him and realized that they are just riding the hype without a good future potential. Bitcoin has been successful already before Elon Musk made an announcement about Tesla's acceptance, so it should not all be attributed to Elon as there's more adoption that would result in real demand for bitcoin in the future.

And bitcoin enthusiast are not that dumb, we have seen what Elon Musk is up to so now we stay away from his tweets as we grew tired of his antics specially when he suddenly made a u-turn against BTC. So we really can't attributed the current rise of the price to him. Investors suddenly pour their money in the last 10 days resulting to a massive increased in the price. And even after his meeting with Jack Dorsey, we didn't see enough push. So lets forget about him for a second and look in the future, adoption will be coming in the next 2-5 years.
3324  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could crypto replace government? on: July 31, 2021, 11:29:42 PM
But without government intervention, there might be total chaos in one country?

Yes, we have crypto and those smart contracts, but I do doubt that it can truly replace a working and able government. We can used and take advantage of smart contracts though, even the government can do that. So why not we have the best of both worlds in our hand? We don't need to sacrifice any of them.
3325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: the pandemic is still going on.. on: July 31, 2021, 11:04:35 PM
the pandemic is still going on..

Right, in my country, we will have a full lockdown again starting August 6 because the cases has been increasing specially the delta variant virus.

Let's talk a little bit about our steps in this difficult time..
like many airdrops that take place, do we still have hope and also believe in the existence of airdrops that are now starting to be offered on platforms or social media..
and what kind of airdrop has made you successful during this pandemic?

Personally, I haven't done any airdrops like in 2 or 3 years, because there's no more worth on getting it, the value is very low and it seems to depreciates over time. So I'm not sure if there will be successful airdrops in pandemic because there's no more hype into it. 2017 was big though, lots of project that airdrop is worth something, but the landscape has change since then.
3326  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price is returning to $40K — But will shorts have their revenge? on: July 31, 2021, 03:18:47 PM
I don't think that the shorters will have their way anytime soon because I feel like they're going to have to wait for awhile because the rumor about Amazon was already cleared but the prices are still able to make some movement so I think that they have to wait for some time.
Any trader trying to short Bitcoin at this point in time is ready to rekt their account, a close observation of the price in the last couples of days indicates a massive bullish trend and some couples of maraboza candles with reference to daily timeframe these are signals that bulls has already taken over the market breaking all the strong resistance,  I believe the price is moving to the next minor resistance at $50K the available option now is to long at every minor dip or support zones and accumulate,  its obvious that the market sentiment has already changed after we had ensured a bearish season that started since mid May this year.

Yes, they are going to get rekt once the $40k resistance is broken as we are in the half way of maybe another bull run starting August. Well, they have their time shorting bitcoin for at least 2 months and squeezing profits like every other day. But this time the price movement is different and they are going to rethink about their strategy because bulls are coming very hard next month. Next minor resistance is about $43k$45k and then major resistance next is the next whole number which is $50k.
3327  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Olympics 2020/2021 : Discussion & Predictions on: July 31, 2021, 02:30:05 PM
Did anyone watched tennis today? Djokovic lost semifinal to Zverev.
It was an upset but Zverev has a game that can beat anyone. I lost on this one too.

Quote
And immediately after enf of singles game he went to play doubles semifinal. He lost it too. I think that such schedule is a bit unfair for athlete.
The Olympic rule allows him to play in both events but it is still Djokovic's decision to participate or let someone else do the doubles. The committee will not bend their schedule just because of a "tired" player.

And today Djokovic also lost the game for the bronze medal against pablo carreno busta, even though he managed to win the second set after he already had matchballs against him there. After that loss he also cancelled the match for the bronze medal in the mixed competition because of a shoulder injury. If he is really injured.. i doubt that. So that is pretty sad for his female partner nina stojanovic as she has now no chance to win an olympic medal and no one knows if she will ever have a chance to win a medal again in her life.
Also pretty disappointing for djokovic also of course. I think everyone expected him to win this olympic tournament and then also the US open to become the first male tennis player ever to win the golden slam. We will see if he can stay motivated for the rest of the season now.

Ok, so that's why he lost the match surprisingly against Zverev. Not taking anything away from Zverev, just what if Djokovic is healthy, it could have been a different outcome. Not sure the extend of the injury and hopefully it is not that bad as he will need to prepare next month for the US Open to complete a grand slam. Just sad that he didn't get the gold medal for his golden slam, but it is really hard to do because you have to maintain your health and be 100% injury free the whole year which is hard to do because of the gruelling tennis calendar.
3328  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: July 31, 2021, 01:21:30 PM
The Lakers maybe up to something else. Record breaking. 2 players with triple doubles in the Finals.  Grin
I saw WB's tweet just now. "Hometeam". I guess that settles it. I don't even need to read the whole story about it. The 3 Lakers stars also met at Lebron's home to discuss about their egos being set aside. I hope they can do that. WB and LBJ had some bad history throwing words with each other on interviews and even off camera. I think they will need to work out that history first to play better this season.

Lebron has got some influence on this trade and this is some sort of his last dance before retiring for good. He can't win championships anymore if he relies on the picks. With WB on board, I think he will take over the handling chores most of the time.

Egos and prides are set aside for that seat of the Finals next season, they are pros so they are very good with that.

Definitely, Lebron has some influence here, and he loves to work with Russ for a long time and finally he was able to get him on-board and let go of one of his favourite, Kyle Kuzma. I think these guys have matured already, there could be no egos anymore but to set only one goal, to win that championship next year and then they can celebrate and talk another run with them together as a team. Durant did it when he left OKC and move to GSW to chase a ring. I think Westbrook can also do it with Lebron.
3329  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: July 30, 2021, 12:09:07 PM
Did not watch the match but I am really surprised how easy Djokovic won this match. I expected hot and moist conditions in combination with home crowd for Nishikori to be enough for a close match. Ah well another ticket lost but at least we have guaranteed gold and silver medals in double  Cool

From the looks of the score, it was really a crushing defeat in the hands of Djokovic. Nishikori is really playing very well in his home court that's why it was quite surprised that he lost at this score, 6-0 in the second set? I have Nishikori +7.5 and obviously I lost my bet.

So who else we gonna think that can stop Djokovic from winning the gold and then inch closer to the golden slam?

Well I was just asking this questions couple of days back, and now we have the answer.

Djokovic really started very strong in the first set, but Zverev proved to be mentally tough, maybe his losses to Djokovic before perhaps really made him strong and dishes out one of Djokovic's worst beating in recent memories.

So yeah, I'm sure he will be the favourite for the gold now and ending Zverev's golden slam bid.
3330  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs Errol Spence Jr - August 21 on: July 30, 2021, 10:51:07 AM
^^ I think it's more on the purse that Manny needed, not the fight itself if he wanted to really run for the highest office in his country. He might get close to 1 billion php in his fight against Spence and we all know that running a public office in the Philippines requires tons of money to get your campaign going.

So regardless if he wins or lose against Spence, he will have that money he needed to pursue his presidential bid. And I don't think he will get more that popular if he wins, because he is already that popular anyway.
3331  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season Champion: Milwaukee Bucks on: July 30, 2021, 09:57:50 AM
Ok, so the deal is done already, now it's going to be an interesting West series, Lakers, Phoenix, Dallas, Clippers and Denver are going to fight it on for the 1st spot. I would say that this is really an upgrade for the Lakers but the caveat is that they should remain very healthy in the next season. We don't want to see two superstars getting injured at the same time. For sure Westbrook's presence and tenacity will have a domino effect on the Lakers here. Excited to see them next season.
3332  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: July 30, 2021, 09:04:23 AM
The game is underway, same result in the first set, Djokovic very dominant with a 6-1 win against Medvedev. Although Medvedev is trying to bounce back in the second set, leading 3-4 and there's no break yet.

Good win by Khachanov, I thought that Carreno will win in 3 sets, but Karen blasted him out in 2 sets, score is 6-3,6-3. So he is just waiting for the winner of the Djokovic vs Medvedev match. I lost my bet on Carreno with the handicapped, good for those who got Khachanov, because last time I check he was like 2.x underdog ML.
3333  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Targets 2021! on: July 29, 2021, 12:30:45 PM
Ethereum to reach 5000 usd is near and more possible to come. We had already reach half of that predicted price. And the chart is still strong for ethereum, the continuous growth and the update of their project seems be the reason why the price keeps on bullish.

As long as the projects will have updates then it will have a huge impact and will continue the bullish sentiments on ETH. $5k is realistic target for this year or maybe at the start of 2022.

Well, if the new ATH of ethereum reaches $5k usd as predicted, the possibility of reaching $10k will gonna hit in the next years.

We all know that even bitcoin doesn't have this parabolic rise, sooner or later we will have to go to another correction. It will take at least a year to reach $10k or maybe in the next bitcoin halving as we all know that this two is somewhat correlated in their bull runs.

Kyrie Irving has even started bashing his sponsors now. In an Instagram post today he mocked the latest Kyrie8 show design and urged his fans not to buy it, claiming he wasn’t involved in the design and marketing process. This guy is a cancer to everything he touches. I think the Nets would be wise to explore a trade for Westbrook and reunite the Thunder 3. I have my doubts as to whether Kyrie can be a part of another championship team.
I am not a player shoe fan but this is something they had been with disagreement with sponsors. Nike will just keep on making shoes if they need sales even without prior notice on whom the player they will name it too. I hope Kyrie also read his contract before signing it. If it's there he can't do anything about it. It's all about the money.
Lebron also had the same issues before with disagreement on designs of the shoes after Hatfield stopped designing for him.

Rumours have been circulating as well that Kyrie will be traded by the Nets. Remember in the beginning he doesn't want to play or strange reasons. Now he gets the ire of Nets management and I wouldn't be surprised if he gets traded.

Now for the shoes, I haven't read it fully, but being a professional athlete, he should talk first to Nike and smooth things out instead of going out in public. Again, this is not good for his image. And he might drop by Nike for doing this.
3336  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Olympics 2020/2021 : Discussion & Predictions on: July 29, 2021, 10:14:48 AM

Despite the fact that our Government did make a mistake of not supporting well financially, mentally, and emotionally of our athletes, she is one of a great example of pushing her dreams to beyond of anyone's expectations including herself. The prices she owns now is really deserving for her hard work to prove that she can do it and for her country. I am proud for her achievements. I hope that this would be a lesson for our Government. I hope they will be now supporting our athletes very well for the next Olympic.

Kudos to those people who supports her and Kudos to Filipinos who never doubt her potential.

With that huge amount of money she's going to received for sure it will encourage more athletes to pursue their dreams.

The government is not denying that they really lack of support for the Pinoy athletes it's given and even so it's not a reason not
to perform just how Hidilyn did, and with the efforts he made everything was been paid off now.

Fame and lots of money she's now secure together with all her love ones.. What a life!

Lol, so what does the Philippine government not supporting their athletes? I guess it has something to do with politics as Diaz was even mentioned as a anti-Duterte supporter. But she denied it already and then focus on training with some private fundings (her begging).

And now that her life has made a U-turn, she has houses, money and hopefully the government should learn from it. They should support specially athletes that will give glory to their country.
3337  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin about to break out of the $30,000s market bottom? on: July 29, 2021, 09:02:41 AM
remember you always see a price for the last time and never know about it, during 2k to 3k levels I never imagined in a million years that we would never see those prices, but as it turns out we never saw those prices at all.
Interestingly enough when price was stuck in $3k and couldn't break $4k for a long time there were a lot of shorts like this and FUD trying to convince everyone that price can no longer go up and the "bear market" has started. The $4k break was explosive and price reached $7k in a very short time right after!

And then from then on, the price goes on a super fast rally and the rest is history.

For the bottom price, I think it will be possible, we might never know that there could be FUD again that will push the price down. Currently, at $40k it's just a couple of thousands of dollars and then we are in the bottom again. Nevertheless, let's just enjoy the current ride, I do hope that $45k can be breach next month, we have a lot of legroom to make it happen in August.

3339  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin bull market back on: July 28, 2021, 11:54:05 AM
Yes now fron here we can say we will back in Bull market. Market is niw so volatile but The amount of volatility remaining in this movement is enough to take us much higher.
If we break 41.5K, I wouldn't be surprised if we instantly go to $50K in a week. Lets see what happens.

We have broken another barrier which is $40k, usually in bitcoin's market, whole numbers are the most important to break. If we did it then we can obviously look for the next one which is $50k. However, it won't be that issues as we have to go to $43k first and then $48k before reaching $50k. However, it is already a good sign that we have like this sort of small bull runs 30% increased in the last 7 days, that is huge already for us.
3340  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: July 28, 2021, 10:46:14 AM
The plays that given were all for Luka and all he had to do is wait in the corner like a PJ Tucker style offensive play.

If it's effective in the long run then KP should give way. Luka is not failing them. He looks like a ball hog but checking the stats, his assists have a good percentage.

Mark Cuban pointed out before that Luka and KP weren't on good terms outside the court. They gave time for these 2 players to somehow build good chemistry but still, it's not that good. It was the same case when Jason Terry joined the Mavericks and Dirk Nowitzki seems to don't like these guy. But looked at them, they worked together to bring a championship to Mavericks.

Will it happen to Luka and KP? The latter need to understand that Luka is the main guy on the Mavericks. He just needs to cooperate. Personally, I like him to stay.

I also would like him to stay as a Maverick, there was a lot of hype when he join the team, maybe the injuries just really hounded him that's why his numbers is going down. I'm pretty sure him and Luka can work it out, adjust to each other and then play as 1-2 for the Dallas.

I think he knows that it is Luka's team, but maybe it is more of a health issue for him that chemistry with Luka or other team members.
