This week is a comfortable one for Milan on paper because they have an away game against Lecce. This is one of the games that Milan don't have the luxury of losing points. They need to keep the point losses against smaller teams to minimum to be able to catch up with the leader and fight more seriously for the league title.

Lecce haven't been getting a loss in the league for many weeks though. But I think this is the end of this streak for them. Milan should be beating them easily. If Napoli - Juventus game ends in a draw it would be in favour of Milan as well.

Bayern Munich have a lot of money to be able to sign a solid goalkeeper now. But I don't know if they are eager to make such move. Sommer would be a really nice move actually and his contract expires in six months as well. This is like a big opportunity for them to finish this transfer by not spending any money on transfer fee. But let's see what the player and his team think about this.

They had better fill Neuer's place with a credible goalkeeper otherwise their job won't be easy about conceding not many goals.

It has been five years since Barcelona won the Super Cup the last time. I don't think they will care about it much less than the other games. I will be expecting Xavi to have his usual starting eleven here and they would fight hard for the title. Bookmakers are also seeing Barcelona as very highly the favourite side. But I still find these odds quite interesting.

Because Betis are not one of the teams to be underestimated. They are doing a good job in the La Liga recently and they will be an important threat to Barcelona here as well. I wouldn't bet on Barcelona win considering how much low the odd is now.

Liverpool have a quite tough matchup in two days. Brighton are not one of the easy teams to beat especially in away games. Of course I know what Arsenal did to them recently but they are the leader in the league now in the end. Liverpool are a problematic team these days. Especially van Dijk's absence will be an extra difficulty for Liverpool. They have been vulnerable to conceding many goals already.

I see it like the safest betting option is both teams to score for this game. Liverpool might not lose this time maybe but it is doubtful if they can win.

Roma are still not in good condition. Of course getting one point in San Siro was still not bad because Milan are one of the most performing teams in the league now. However Roma still could have done better than that. They weren't like on the field in the first half. We saw them trying to do something in the last minutes of the half or so. If they didn't improve the effort in the second half they were most probably going to lose three points.

This time they are going to be hosting Fiorentina. Roma are very dominant against them in their home games in the league. They should see this game as a chance to improve their general performance as well. I think this time we will see a better look and Roma will win.

I agree with you about Tottenham and Arsenal. Tottenham have really had serious issues with defense and they have conceded so many goals which is over the acceptable level. When it comes to scoring goals these teams have scored nearly the same amount in the league so far. Especially thanks to Kane, Tottenham are doing a great job in the attacking line as he has 15 goals now.

I think Tottenham can still get at least a draw in this game. They have already been quite good against Arsenal home for some time and they can maintain this. It is up to how dedicated they will be.

Gerrard might be the new manager of Poland national team if he doesn't respond to the offer negatively.

This is really interesting news because I wouldn't have expected to see such offer after not having a good time with Aston Villa the last time. Besides it might be a pretty risky choice for Poland as well but it is their decision in the end. But I still think Gerrard needs more experience before managing even a national team. He needs to improve himself by developing better team strategies.

The Manchester derby is the most awaited game of the week undoubtedly. Manchester United have a nice advantage of playing in Old Trafford. They have been quite successful against big teams here this season. Manchester City are one of the toughest opponents of course but we never know. ten Hag would like to keep the same game plan against Manchester City as well.

Arsenal are also playing a tough game this week so this is very important for Manchester City to have a chance to catch up. But it feels like Manchester United will somehow manage to get at least one point in this.

Wolfsburg are also one of the in-form teams in the league recently. They have been on a winning streak of four games as well. There are wins against teams like Hoffenheim and Dortmund too among those ones. But their next fixture is going to be quite tough. Because the opponent is Freiburg. It is still a home game for Wolfsburg though but this is a challenging game anyway.

Freiburg were the winner team the last time they played here. Considering their position in the league now they are my favourite again. But rather than betting on them I might continue with both teams to score.

Napoli - Juventus game is going to be a very lovely start to the new game week.

Juventus can't get a win in Napoli's stadium for four years. And I don't feel like this is the time they are winning as well. Because Juventus still have some injured players who are important for the team. They need players like Vlahovic to be better at finishing. That has been their main problem recently as you know. They find many goal opportunities but waste most of them. They have got many victories by very close scores for weeks. Napoli got a shocking defeat by Inter first but they still seemed good by the Sampdoria game. I think Napoli might win by one goal.

It is still doubtful whether Sevilla would be able to maintain a good effort from now on. The win against Getafe was really important indeed. However we still need to see some more victories to start trusting Sevilla about a better future in the league. They have no choice other than maintaining a solid winning streak from now on to have a secured position in the standings.

This time their opponent is Girona and it is an away game. Girona are ahead of Sevilla in the standings but Sevilla can still find a way to win this. If they have a similar level of performance to the Getafe game it is possible for them to get a close win again.

The second half was really efficient for Atalanta and their comeback was delightful. But the general performance is still very bad despite this 2-1 victory. Because Bologna were still able to find more chances than them to score more goals. Maybe things would have been more different if Atalanta played against a bigger team.

Considering that there is a need for a big improvement in the team. This is important for being consistent. They have been very unsuccessful for many weeks but it is up to them to start fixing the problems by maintaining a winning streak.

Great football? That is an exaggeration mate.

Yes there were some positive things against Manchester City but this doesn't show that they are always like that. They have been performing quite poorly in the Premier League since the beginning of the season. If they were playing a good football then they wouldn't have been in the 10th position in the standings now. Chelsea have become a very inconsistent team and it is very hard to predict the outcome of any of their games from now on.

Atletico Madrid's real opponents in the league are teams like Real Sociedad, Betis and so on in the league from now on. Because they have shown once again that they are no threat to either Barcelona or Real Madrid. The point gap was already very big though but the Barcelona game showed why the gap was that big again.

Simeone had better prepare for resigning from his job otherwise I think the board will decide to sack him at the end of the season. This is such a terrible season for them as they are in no European tournament and even their chance of finishing in top 4 might be in danger.

Fulham is going to be a challenging opponent for Chelsea. They are already above Chelsea in the standings and their performance has been a little more impressive so far as well. Chelsea are still dealing with goal issues and we don't know when they will be able to fix their problems. They are desperately trying to solve this by transferring new attackers but we will see.

It depends on the team effort mostly of course. Potter needs to find a way to motivate the players to have a decent form in the league finally. But I don't feel like this is the game they are making a good start.

Hard days are still continuing for Atalanta. They have been unable to get a win for four weeks in the league first of all. And now things aren't going well for them against Bologna as well.

Bologna are in the lead by 1-0 and they have been more effective so far. Bologna are not a very easy opponent to beat maybe but Atalanta can do better than this normally. They have a good squad in their hands but they just have difficulties in using the players in the best way. The World Cup break wasn't good for them still as it seems and I wonder when they will start recovering.

Dortmund are on a losing streak of two games in the league and this has pushed them out of top four as a result.

Their next fixture is against Augsburg home. This is a comfortable game on paper but we will see. There have been some really competitive games between them so far as well. But I think Dortmund will return better after the break. They need to improve this bad form to enter top 4 and consolidate their place. It would be really unexpected for many people if we don't see them in the Champions League next time. It is still early to talk about this maybe but I just don't find them good enough in the league now.

Zidane must be waiting for an opportunity at France. He is already not eager to manage a club that easy. But a possible offer by France can change many things for him I assume. Deschamps hasn't been doing a bad work actually. They did a good job in the World Cup but couldn't make double when it comes to the title.

I don't know if Deschamps is thinking of leaving his job in the near future or the board have any plans to sack him. But if one of these happens I'm sure that Zidane would be offered the job.

Lorient is going to be a quite difficult opponent for Monaco to beat. It is an away game which makes things more difficult for them. Lorient's having a much better season the previous one is also adding an extra difficulty to this game. Lorient are only two points behind Monaco in the standings as well. It is like Lorient and Strasbourg changed the roles in this season by the way. 

Monaco are still not able to enter any title competition but they can at least fight for one of the Champions League tickets. They need to show their ambition by winning this kind of games and hopefully they will beat Lorient here maybe by a small margin.

Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford is still on the radar of big teams in the same league. Tottenham are one of these teams according to some news. They want to replace Lloris with Pickford thinking about the long-term. Lloris has reached the age of 36 now. Actually this is still not too bad for a goalkeeper as long as he keeps being a beneficial player for his team.

However Lloris conceded quite many goals in the league so far like 25 goals. I don't know maybe it is really time for them to benefit from this opportunity while Everton are in a bad shape.
