There is still a chance for Juventus mathematically for the Champions League despite the punishment. But to be realistic yeah it is very difficult to make it happen from now on. Even if they win against Milan this week, Milan would still beat Verona home on the final week of the season to finish ahead of Juventus. In addition to that there are two teams between in the standings as well so it is nearly mission impossible.

Therefore I agree that there is no motivation source for Vlahovic to stay. But maybe there might still be a chance for Juventus about their punishment to be taken back just as it happened before. But it feels like this won't happen and it will stay this way.

I must admit that I'm not surprised too much with the result of the Valladolid - Barcelona game. Because Barcelona were already in a comfortable position so they didn't need to win this game. Valladolid on the other hand have been fighting for not relegating from the league so they needed a win so bad here. However the final score was much more than my expectations.

I thought like they would win by 2-1 or 1-0 the most but they had a lead by even 3-0. This solid win should definitely help Valladolid believe in themselves more to stay in the league.

Leverkusen are so close to securing the sixth position at the end of the season. Because after the results of the most recent week they are one point ahead of Wolfsburg now. However their job is going to be quite difficult on the final week compared to Wolfsburg. Because Wolfsburg are playing a home game against Hertha Berlin and you know that Hertha Berlin have already relegated.

However it isn't the case for Bochum yet. They are still trying to clear out of the danger as they are still in the relegation zone. They would like to put a good fight into the game against Leverkusen. Obviously Leverkusen have no choice other than winning. While they are out of the Europa League as well they had better focus on the league completely. In that way this is still a winnable game for them.

Leicester got a draw today but it wasn't a very well-deserved one either. Because Newcastle were in full control of the game from the start to the end. They played it one-sided and had so many goal opportunities as well. But still there was no goal by any side at the end of the game. This was rather unexpected for me because I thought both teams would score considering their aims and scoring capabilities.

Maybe Leicester had only 1 goal attempt but Newcastle should have scored some goals after making so many attempts to score. Still Newcastle got what they wanted as they secured a spot in the Champions League.

Juventus have officially got a new punishment which is a 10-point reduction. In addition to that they got a horrible loss against Empoli today as well. Now they are even out of top six in the standings. From competing for the Champions League to this position... I guess this wouldn't also be the final decision about Juventus' point reduction. Maybe there would be still hope for them.

No matter what this season things haven't went their way clearly. They tried to do something in the Europa League but their performance was inadequate to even play a final game. I wonder if Allegri will get sacked for this or they will give one last chance.

According to ESPN, Chelsea have made an offer to sign Dusan Vlahovic. And the amount is said to be 80 million euros. In that case Juventus wouldn't even make any loss in his transfer. Especially after having a not very convincing season it would still be great for Juventus to sell him for that amount. Because I expected his value to drop more after this.

He is actually a really decent and skilled striker. This season just wasn't the best for him but he is still very young. If he joins Chelsea and adapts to football in England then I think he can be very helpful for Chelsea for even long years.

This season Betis got close to top four again but as usual they lost their chance for it by making more point losses. This season is even likely to be a little more unsuccessful as they are about to finish the season at the sixth position most probably. I don't want to sound like they have had bad seasons with Pellegrini of course. It would be totally unfair.

Because since his arrival Betis have been much better. We are about to see them in the Europa League once again. As long as they continue to be consistent Pellegrini would stay for longer years I assume.

Leipzig have also secured their place in the Champions League next season. Now there is only one place left in the quota and one of Union Berlin - Freiburg duo will get that according to the results on the final week. Honestly I don't expect Union Berlin to lose this place to Freiburg. Because their fixture is way easier than Freiburg's. They are taking on Werder Bremen home so it shouldn't be a big deal for Union Berlin.

In that case Freiburg will need to beat Frankfurt with a historical goal gap to capture the last place for the Champions League which doesn't seem likely at all.

This game is important for Newcastle as well to consolidate their presence in top four and even guarantee it. Because even if they get one point they won't lose their place to Liverpool guaranteed. I don't think they would lose in this home game as well. They lost two points against Leeds on the previous week already and they would fight for a win this time in my opinion.

Leicester have been a team without having much problem on scoring goals mostly. However they couldn't figure out a way to improve their defending. This can bring their end as it seems. I think the most positive result they can get is a draw here.

Gagliardini just killed Inter's hopes for winning against Napoli or at least getting one point. They are still in top four maybe but they are under the threat of Milan on one hand. The gap is only two points while there are two weeks left for the end of the season as well. I'm saying these all considering Juventus' staying at their current position of course.

But it looks like things can get really bad for Juventus again as I indicated before. This is going to be a quite unsuccessful season for them in that case. I don't know if there would be any change in their manager position as well.

Galatasaray are strong in midfield and attacking line both right now. This increase in player quality in these positions helped Galatasaray make a huge progress compared to the previous season. There is a very different team that we are watching now and they are closing in on the league title step by step. But there are still some weaknesses of course which can be a big problem for them in the Champions League.

They need to do something about their defending. Because they can still concede very simple goals. They can solve this problem by making a transfer I think.

There was a great opportunity for Sevilla to take this week. Because if they managed to beat Betis home tonight then they were going to be the owner of the 7th position in the standings. Because Girona lost their game and Sevilla had an advantage over Athletic Bilbao in head-to-head games. Actually Sevilla seemed really solid against Betis today.

I mean Betis couldn't become much effective as you can see it from the statistics at the same time. They didn't even have many attempts and there was 0 shot on target. Despite Sevilla's dominance it wasn't still enough to win this game home. There is still a chance but Sevilla's job will be harder in the rest of the weeks of course.

And Dortmund really made use of this huge chance to go for the Bundesliga title after a 10-season break. They won against Augsburg by a really comfortable score and this must be feeling like living the dream for them. Honestly I thought that was it for Dortmund after wasting their opportunities despite taking the lead a couple of times during the season.

But they have one last chance right before the end of the season. I hope they won't mess up things this time. Mainz don't have any chance left for a European cup as of today. Therefore I don't expect them to create big difficulties for Dortmund on the final week of the season. Dortmund are really coming to get the title finally. 

I remember another season like this for Chelsea in the past. Those were really dark times and they must be very disappointed with having another similar season to that now. They will definitely want to forget about this horrible season immediately. The way they can do this is to bring the right manager and build the team in the best manner possible.

Chelsea are a team that know how to handle this kind of situations as they are experienced about that. I hope that we can see a much stronger team next season. They should be able to finish a season in top 4 as the first step.

It was a really important win for Milan side to maintain their top four chance. They totally destroyed Sampdoria which have already relegated. Giroud had a great day with making a hat-trick as well. Now they will have to wait for Lazio to make a mistake and lose points against Udinese today. I still doubt this to happen though on one hand.

Because technically Udinese are in the middle of the standings without having any goal left. I don't think Lazio would lose points against this kind of an opponent but let's see. This is football in the end and we have seen such examples many times so far.

I said it before like Inter wouldn't be a big problem for Manchester City. But I said it thinking of Manchester City's wouldn't underestimating their opponent and playing accordingly. Otherwise Manchester City already got a disappointment in a Champions League final game before. It was against Chelsea as you can remember clearly. Tuchel was great about finding their weakness and benefiting from it.

Guardiola had better make sure of not having hard times against Inter as well. Inzaghi would do his best to be as prepared as possible for Manchester City's usual game. I assume they would adopt a defensive game mostly because they can't do anything by playing open. It would be for the benefit of Manchester City.

West Ham - Leeds game is quite important regarding the relegation zone now. Leeds are trying to get out of the zone but they desperately need a victory as soon as possible. They were able to steal one point from Newcastle on the previous week and maybe they can do better this time. West Ham are technically a more comfortable opponent for Leeds but their job is still not easy though.

West Ham are in a quite safe position in the standings from the relegation zone. But they would still like to relieve themselves more by getting a decent result I assume. These teams faced each other before and it ended up with a 2-2 draw. I expect both teams to score again and Leeds not to lose.

In case of Chelsea's making the Pochettino deal official Tottenham are likely to sign Nagelsmann on one hand. But both teams are waiting for a little more time to see some things to be clearer. Both of these teams should make their choices of manager very carefully from now on. Because both of them have had a terrible season so far and Chelsea have been worse.

Pochettino can be a good choice for Chelsea of course as he is a decent experienced manager and he knows this environment very well. But as for Nagelsmann there will be some question marks about what he can do in the Premier League. But despite his young age he has an experience with a top team like Bayern Munich. Therefore he might also be a good choice for Tottenham side.

Real Sociedad really made it! It was still a tough away game on paper despite Barcelona's being comfortable already after declaring their La Liga title. But this dedicated performance helped Real Sociedad side anyway to even beat their opponent by 2-1 in Camp Nou. They have left a huge obstacle behind by a solid result on the road going to the Champions League.

I can comfortably say that Real Sociedad are the most deserving team for the 4th position now. Villarreal are trying to stay in the fight for this achievement but it doesn't feel like they will catch up with Real Sociedad from a 5-point gap.

In my opinion it looks really difficult for Hamilton to reach his eight world title from now on. Because Red Bull are way ahead of any other team remaining right now. And it looks like this gap among these teams is likely to get bigger in time. Because I don't see any team keeping up with Red Bull's development pace either. It is like a new domination era by Red Bull this time.

Mercedes and Ferrari both are far away from their potential right now. As long as Mercedes don't give a fast car to Hamilton he had better just forget about being champion from now on. There wouldn't be any need for him to push more in that case.
