Newcastle are going to play their absent game tomorrow night. This isn't a prestige game for any sides at the moment. Because it is important for Newcastle to stay ahead of Manchester United and Liverpool both to keep their presence in top four. On the other hand Brighton are trying to qualify for the Europa League at worst. But their position is under the threat of Tottenham - Aston Villa duo right now.
Their previous head-to-head game ended up with a goalless draw maybe but I don't expect the same this time. I will be expecting goals from both sides here.

After Freiburg's losing hard against Union Berlin by 4-2 I don't think Leipzig would lose their presence in top four from now on. The point gap between Leipzig and Freiburg is four already while there are two weeks left for the end of the season. Besides there is Union Berlin right between them in the standings as well. Leipzig are about to guarantee their Champions League ticket soon.
Therefore I doubt Leipzig's performance against Bayern Munich next time. They might not play their best game while they aren't under high level threat. Bayern Munich can make use of it and just win in Allianz Arena in my opinion.
In my opinion, on the contrary, Leipzig's place is still not safe for next season's champions league because Leipzig will play Bayern Munich this week and their chances of winning are not even there. So I think Leipzig will only be able to get an additional 3 points against Schalke later and if Union Berlin or Freiburg each get 6 additional points in the remaining matches then Leipzig will drop to 5th place in the standings. But indeed the result is still too complicated for some of these teams and all possibilities can still happen. I think Leipzig's main focus is now only on the game against Schalke and if they can win that game then it's pretty clear they will appear in the champions league. Yeah even if Leipzig lose against Bayern Munich it won't be a big deal for them most probably. Because their final fixture is indeed against Schalke home and I would expect nothing different than a victory for Leipzig side. Schalke are trying some things to stay in the Bundesliga but they are still very vulnerable against big teams of the league. Their game against Bayern Munich was a great example for that. Considering that Leipzig are in a good form they should be able to take advantage of Schalke's defensive weaknesses comfortably. |

This is a total destruction by Manchester City and they have just scored their third goal. From now on I don't think Real Madrid have any hope left in this small time period remaining in the game. This time Manchester City didn't let their opponent shock them in the same way they did in the previous season. Winning by 4-1 on aggregate is really huge for Manchester City as well.
Because this is like one of the best kind of revenge types for them. This time Manchester City are really going for the Champions League title and Inter can't be a big obstacle ahead in my opinion.

In a few days there is a really nice game between Napoli and Inter. This game could have been more exciting if Napoli didn't declare their title already. But hopefully we can still watch some nice performances especially by Inter players. Inter are in a great form recently. They are still on a lasting winning streak and they have qualified for the Champions League finale on one hand.
They are actually in a safe situation in the standings now but there is still nothing certain yet. I think they will use this improved morale for their advantage and I won't be surprised if they win against Napoli away here.

There are literally five teams fighting for the seventh position right now and the biggest point gap among them is only 2. The final weeks will be quite tight for these teams. It is the same for Sevilla as they are still a part of the Europa League on one hand. Besides there are three teams ahead of Sevilla now.
I expect to see Sevilla giving more importance to the Europa League title now of course. Winning the title will be their ticket to the Champions League. Therefore they might have big issues with winning the current fight in the La Liga at the same time due to concentration issues.

Rafael Leao is being approached by Chelsea, and it is reported that Chelsea are ready to offer their 2 wingers to get a Rafael Leao. But on the other hand AC Milan still needs this player, and they have set a price if there is a club that wants it. 170 million euros is the price AC Milan wants to release this player, that is a very fantastic price of course.

Manchester City are favoured by bookmakers by a huge odd difference right now. The game is going to be played in Etihad in the end which is the most effective factor in that of course. But still this is some underestimation for Real Madrid at the same time. We all watched the first leg and Real Madrid did a pretty good job despite being under pressure for a while.

It was such an incredible level of domination by Juventus side last night. They were so comfortable against Cremonese in Turin and won by 2-0 as well. They are doing their best on the final weeks to secure a spot in the Champions League mathematically but there is still a chance for them to find themselves out of top four though.
I wonder if that punishment will come back before the end of the season. Maybe even in the summer we can come across a shocking news for Juventus. But honestly I would like to watch them in the Champions League again if they eliminate from the Europa League now as well.
Juventus played very well and it's true that they dominated the whole match. But it is natural that a top team like Juventus will play well against a weak team like Cremonese. From the beginning of this match, Juventus was playing very attacking. Perhaps their aim was to win this match by a big margin. But they won 2-0. Juventus players had several more easy chances to score. But they missed the easy opportunities. But I would say Juventus should now aim to perform well in Europa League matches. Juventus drew at home against Sevilla. In the second leg, Juventus must beat Sevilla by any means. However, it will be difficult for Juventus to beat Sevilla at the moment. I can't even agree more with the people who think that Atletico Madrid underestimated Elche a lot on the previous week. Elche were a team that already relegated from the La Liga. They were a complete mess and they had nothing left as a motivation source as a result. But somehow they still can beat one of the strongest teams in the league.
I know that Atletico Madrid are already very safe in top four now but they have been trying to finish the season at the best position possible which is the 2nd one. But this inexplicable loss helped Real Madrid get back the position from them for now.

I'm quite contented with the result of the Leicester - Liverpool game as I added their win into my betslip at a quite decent odd. It was a nice option to increase the total odd by a good rate. Anyway I must admit that it was hell of a performance by Liverpool there. They were in full control during the whole game and reflected this onto the final score as well.
This was another good step forward for top four but they are still dependent on Manchester United's results in their games left from now on. If Manchester United improve their effort then that would be it for Liverpool unfortunately.

The comeback by Basel must have surprised Fiorentina players a lot. But I still see it like there is nothing finished for them. Because Fiorentina have been quite successful in away games in the Europa League recently. Besides they are technically a better team than Basel in my opinion when we compare the qualities of players before anything else.
Maybe Fiorentina got a little complacent which led to this comeback. However they can't let the Europa League ticket get away from them this easy. Because they don't have a chance to qualify for any European tournament in the Serie A mathematically now.

Stuttgart - Leverkusen was an important game for both sides and I was talking about a probability of a draw at the end of this game. It ended by a 1-1 draw as well and I didn't like Leverkusen's effort quite much. They were really inadequate in the first half but there was some improvement in the second half. It was still not enough to win this game I'm afraid.
Both goals came by penalties. Stuttgart needed a win rather than that but it is still better than losing of course. Besides Schalke lost to Bayern Munich you know so Stuttgart were still able to get closer to them in the standings by this result. The competition for the play-out position between them will be quite tight on the remaining two game weeks.

Valladolid - Sevilla can be one of the most interesting games in the La Liga recently. Because despite those 28 goal attempts by the home side they still couldn't score a single goal against Sevilla. The number of shots on target wasn't that high though but still they had so many opportunities to score. Sevilla still were the winner by a comfortable score like 3-0 away.
The risk of relegation is still the same for Valladolid because of the losses the teams below them got. But they are so close to enter the relegation zone at the same time. Meanwhile it was a good week for Sevilla as Girona and Athletic Bilbao both lost points.

Leicester - Liverpool is a game that can be quite interesting. Because Leicester are trying to maintain their presence in the Premier League now and they are still in the relegation zone. While we are in the last a few weeks of the season they need a win desperately. On the other hand Liverpool still have a chance for top 4 mathematically and they are pushing to the limit now.
Liverpool couldn't beat Leicester in their last two meets in Leicester's home stadium. However I'm still going for Liverpool win in this kind of a situation. They are in a great shape now and they can continue winning here as well.

Dortmund continue to keep their hopes up by winning another game strongly but still they are one point behind. Bayern Munich don't seem even a bit like they can be stopped now. As they are out of the Champions League they are completely focused on the Bundesliga title. Leipzig look like the only team that might do something against them but I don't know.
If that happens Dortmund had better not waste another opportunity. This is like Dortmund's closest season to the league title after all these years.

Lens must be feeling great at the second position right now. Maybe there is only a gap of two points with Marseille now but Lens' performance in the recent times is much more promising anyway. Besides Lens are 6 points away from the leader PSG at the same time. Of course it is still very difficult while there are 3 weeks to go but who knows.  However PSG should be able to win the rest of their games of course. They don't have much difficult fixtures left now. But it is still not going to be a very comfortable title for them surely. |

I'm really angry at Arsenal's performance today. You just can't let this kind of a game slip through your fingers while you are in a title race. Brighton were in a vulnerable state actually after losing to Everton by a big score. But Brighton are still playing magically against big teams of the league. This was one of the examples for that.
But this was still a very heavy loss for Arsenal home. What were they thinking in the first place? You had only the Premier League title chance left in hand.
