Hard to say at this point as who are people or entities behind this so called spike in Binance. To be honest, I didn't see it and for those who witnessed it perhaps they made a ton of money buy selling it instantly as this spot price.

And as far as I know, Binance has been investigated or under investigation, we don't know what's going on behind all of this, but I'm sure they are going to deny that they are involved, (the usual excuse). But I will say that they are getting extremely powerful, specially CZ.

Simone Biles has some kind of psychological issue, she's calling them 'demons inside her'. She's been struggling psychologically before the Games as well, sometimes she performs without issues and sometimes she freezes.
She wasn't actually replaced, she withdrew by her own decision - she stated she isn't in a state to perform but was cheering the team and looked really relieved when they won the silver medal.

The pressure on her must be immense. She's the face of the US at these games, and a huge favourite to win multiple golds. It's impossible for us as viewers to understand the amount of stress she must be under... for any athlete there would be nerves, but for someone in her position we just can't imagine it. It's brave of her to speak out, and comes on the heels of Naomi Osaka's withdrawal from the French Open. I think Biles has been brave, and it is good that people are understanding that despite their physical excellence, these athletes aren't unfeeling robots.

Yeah, I do agree, recently Naomi Osaka has open up about the mental problem she has to face, and in so doing, she skipped a lot of tournaments. But then again, she failed in this Olympics already, representing the host nation. So just imagine a former #1 seed and the pressure on her shoulder to win the tennis olympics is so immense and then she failed. And obviously, Biles could have been undergoing this bad process in his life. I do think that media has to blame for all of this, specially on women's athletes.

I think GSW is moving as early as now, planning to take Siakam with a healthy Klay and Steph not bad chasing to regain the thrown.

Just a rumor but if consider, looks like the Toronto Raptors will now destroy their championship lineup. Like the possible trade though as after their 2019 championship and the departure of Kawhi Leonard, they now remain silent and not a competitive one in the Eastern Conference alone.

But what it will cost for the Warriors? It's a risk if it involves shipping their possible valuable rookies on the draft night.

Last season Lowry wanted out already isn't it? So that alone tells us that the Toronto Raptors are going to rebuild without Lowry. But it is interesting to hear that Siakam wanted out of Toronto since he just sign a huge deal with them and he is the next to be the face of Toronto when Lowry goes out.

Here is the link for those who are interested: https://sports.yahoo.com/nba-rumors-possible-warriors-trade-185518680.html

Nishikori is a very underrated player, i really like his style, playing in Japan probably helped him against Rublev, it's really sad that a lot of fans in Japan don't have chances to see and support Nishikori in their country, i think he can win a medal, he's got the skills for it and proved it against Rublev.

It was a nice win and the home advantage definitely plays a role but lets not overestimate it. Nishikori is a good player and has had it's prime moment 7 years ago (final US Open) but other than that, he has not really proven anything. I think the chances that he will win a medal are small, but the field is not great so he stands a chance.
[/quote]

Yeah, when he was at his prime, he can go against the big 3 or big 4 and sometimes win against them.

So it's no surprised that he win against Rublev in his home.

Carreno-Busta vs Cilic - 3rd set now, I have a bet on Busta -1.5.

Djokovic vs Struff as well, Djokovic winning the first set 6-4, leading 2-0 the second set.
3345  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The attack is 51%. The Bitcoin killer. on: July 26, 2021, 08:07:41 AM
Every self-respecting crypto enthusiast has heard about the 51% Attack, in which an error can occur in the Bitcoin code and I think you understand how this will end.

Wrong, it's not about error in bitcoin code, Lol, it's about some entity controlling 51% of bitcoin's hashrate.

And so, the capitalization of Bitcoin at the moment is about $ 700 billion, if the United States in conjunction with other states wants, they will be able to easily attack Bitcoin and stop its existence.

Yes, that is feasible, but what do they get in return? Nothing, there are no incentives and on the contrary, it might cause billions to attack bitcoin.

Or do they want to start using this market themselves to extract their own profit and earn money? Maybe they are trying to limit only ordinary citizens, and they have been sitting on the market for a long time?

There are a lot of incomprehensible questions, a topic for reasoning, what do you think?

Again, there will be no profits in 51% attack, they are just going to waste a lot of their time and money out of nothing. It is not logical.
3346  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tokyo 2020 Men's Olympics Basketball Tournament on: July 25, 2021, 02:56:10 PM
France win against USA is surprise, but not something sensational I think.
It was great match. Maybe 2:30 minutes remaining, France was down by 8, but they managed to make amazing comeback. But offcourse, there was some luck when USA missed maybe 4 open 3pt shots.
Seems that losses in pre-tournament friendlies was real alarming signal.

Was not expecting this lost from USA.

But I do agree, the pre-tournament lost could have been an indication that they could be in a rough Olympics and teams are going to beat them.

But this is just one lost, they can bounce back and tie for the group lead. They have to cover some grounds though, it will be devastating that they got home without that gold and it happen on Durant's watch.
3347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are we IN for 2021 Bull run on: July 25, 2021, 11:26:06 AM
I think the market is having a correction before the overheated bull run when BTC hit $64000. This is much better than BTC continuously rising with no signs of stopping.
Perhaps after this correction, the market will have a new development and BTC will rise again.

We obviously had our corrections already, the market is down -50% after that huge rally we have up to April. And then after that the price plummeted and many thinks that the bull run is over.

In my experience in this market, it's cyclical, 2017 was the last bull run we see and then it was repeated this 2021 after the block halving. But as long as there will be good news that will come in the last quarter, who knows, maybe a new all time high is there to be reach before the end of 2021.
3348  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: July 25, 2021, 10:23:55 AM
^^ Yeah, I agree, it is also unpredictable:

Nishikori vs Rublev - huge upset, Nishikori won. But we all know that the game was held in Japan and the weather is hot and for sure Nishikori is more adjusted to it.

P. Kohlschreiber vs S. Tsitsipas, third set now, 6-3, 3-6 in two sets, so 1/1, third set is 3-3, gonna be close but hopefully Tsitsipas can pull it off.

Tsitsipas won already 6-3 in the 3rd set. He broke Kohlschreiber and that's what he needed, as he didn't let him score after that huge break.

Some good seed in the womens side is also winning, including home town crowd favourite Naomi Osaka.

Djokovic vs Struff tomorrow, Dkokovic -5-5 favourite at 1.85, I think he can cover it.
3349  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Oscar Valdez vs Robson Conceicao - Sept 10th on: July 25, 2021, 09:40:55 AM
~
With Robson Conceicao a gold medalist in the Olympics, this may be enough to sell some tickets though but pro boxing and Olympic boxing is very different from each other so we can expect Oscar to demolish Robson come fight night.

Agreed, the amateur boxing is different from pro one, and definitely, Robson is underdog in the coming bout. IMO,  Robson should  extensively train a chin protection otherwise he will  fall early.  The trick  that might work for him is  steadily  backward movement, face down, facing opponent to avoid punching attack into the head. I'm waiting TKO from Oscar in the second half of the fight.

history says both of them are gold medalists in Olympics. both must be trained hard already before going to the proboxing. Conceicao, however, seems to have fewer fights but has a shot to fight against Valdez for the super featherweight title. great opportunity really.

these boxers are very achievers you can tell by their records. Conceicao 8 win fights all by way of KO. Valdez has 29 fights and 23 by KO!

Right, but as far as experience goes, Oscar Valdez has the advantage because he has proven himself already. Unless Robson is very special Olympian like Loma who become world champion is less than 10 fights. But I'm not seeing it on Robson, might be a good mid-tier fighter in this division and might go up in weight because he is too tall for this weight class and his body can't squeeze that inside his 5'10" body frame.
3350  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season Champion: Milwaukee Bucks on: July 25, 2021, 09:08:24 AM
Shaq has passed the torch on to Giannis, and we know this man is not easily pleased but look what he said on Twitter.
Oh, God. That's good to hear.
Shaq recognizing Giannis' skills inside the paint.
We have never seen such a good season now with Jokic and Giannis playing like it's back to the '80-'90s game.
Post-up game forcing for only a deuce and not settling for a three.
One with the soft touch while the other with the hardcore slamming his way to make a score.
I think that's why he got a lot of free throws, defenders forgot how to guard below the rim or there is just nobody that can stop him.

Yeah, good to hear that, we haven't seen such a dominant force in the paint since Shaq, and we all know that once Shaq got into the paint, no one can stop him, not because he is too big, but he is too strong as well for others to even stop him.

And we have seen that in Giannis, he is really unstoppable when he gets inside, a floater, a layup or even a left hand dunk. Ayton can't do anything about it, except to foul him sometimes for and 1.

They also have one thing in common with Shaq, they missed a lot of free throws, lol, hack-a-shaq, now it could be hack-a-giannis.
3351  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC has fallen below 30,000. Is there still room for appreciation in the future on: July 24, 2021, 10:46:29 AM
Since Musk banned BTC from acquiring Tesla, it has plummeted. When will it rebound? Smiley Smiley Smiley Kiss Kiss

Haven't you seen the dip last time? When it went down to $3k and yet we still hold and goes up till we reached the new ATH at 60k. Most probably, bearish market wont lasts. There are still whales that can pull up the price again up to 30k to 40k. TESLA can go on with their own life, it was just a vague that they change statements regarding bitcoin's support and adoption thus affecting crypto market.

Of course, that is prior to the halving and we have the corona pandemic scare, that's why the price seems to really falter to the lows of $3k, but when the halving happens, which is usually the precursor of a massive bull run the price goes to $64k. And then the the drops and more than - 50%. That is crypto for us, one day it's up and we think its going to be parabolic and then suddenly we went on a bearish trend. And then Tesla and Elon come into the picture changing the whole aspect of the game. But let me say that we this bull run is not yet over, we might see new all time high this year.
3352  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Did you really miss it? on: July 24, 2021, 09:47:32 AM
There will be new opportunities in the future. I am willing to learn more about this market and find the next "Bitcoin".
Agreed, The new coin with more innovatio will always be introduced to the market and this is potentially to skyrocketing like those coin that already entered into the major coins.

I was making 40x ROI return from axs, almost 20x return from CIFI, and many more. The chance will always there as long as you are doing deep research.

The market is not always the major coin but there are bunch of potential coins outta here

But the problem is that do we still need some crypto in the market already?

It is already saturated with useless and shitcoins that is just being used to be pump and dump only. What kind of innovation do we still need? What remains in the market is those coins that established themselves early, those so called prime movers of the industry. The rest is just a copy cat that's why it will not that huge profit in later. 20x-40x for me is obvious pump and dump, sorry to burst the bubble.
3353  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: July 24, 2021, 09:09:50 AM
If I may add some tennis in the Olympics, Medvedev won a tough match against Bublik  6-4, 7-6 (10/8). Poland's Iga Swiatek also won in straight sets against Mona Barthel, 6-2, 6-2.

Djokovic might play later and Osaka so let's see.

Gaston vs Djere now is live, hard to predict who are going to win, but I would say. that Djere might take this one in 3 sets.

And then Casper Ruud will end Kopriva's giant run in this tournament with a 2 straight sets win prediction.

What kind you say about Giannis post game interview, he somewhat throw some on KD and Lebron winning rings with other super stars (super teams).

I can't find the part of the interview about that. Is this the post-game interview of him in front of the media?

Or is this the video about a debate between analysts Stephen A. Smith, Max Kellerman, and Kendrick Perkins whether they would want to have Kevin Durant’s two rings with the Golden State Warriors by joining a super team or have Giannis Antetokounmpo’s one ring? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oFhcZ1Miluo

I try to search it in Youtube mate,

Here is what I got: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OBOGG0EiDV8

Go forward 1:22, (audio is shit though), he basically says that this is the hard way to do it. He can go to other teams to form a super team and it's easy - that's according to Giannis. Well Nowitzki did in in Dallas winnings against a Lebron lead Miami. And then now Giannis, but this is going to be a long debate for NBA fans whether super teams are bad or not.
3355  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: July 24, 2021, 07:44:01 AM
Congrats on the Bucks fans, you won the spread and you should celebrate also. lol

overall last season, I think I'm in profit but not a big profit though, I'm just enjoying my journey, trying to be consistent with my picks.
Thanks also for those who trusted my pick, you guys rock, we learn together and that's already cool for me.

I want to learn also! What are the websites do you use to get your basketball information. I might begin taking this game more serious on the next season hehe. I want to know the sites of the best news websites, statistics and analysis.

Not sure if stadus is looking for basketball websites to make his prediction.

I'm also a NBA bettor, but I bet based on what I'm currently seeing, I mean if you have followed NBA at least for this regular season, you will know already the strengths and what the team can bring in the table.

And then you bet, whether pre game or live betting, there are many nba sites that give tips and prediction, but for me it's better to put your bet base on what you see. Even those nba sites that gives prediction often is a miss, specially if you saw some huge underdog and you know that they can win, they I would say bet on it.

Looking for the next season.

I am quite certain everyone who bets on sports reads the news about injuries, team news and studies the statistics to make a prediction. I am not asking for predicitions but I am asking what are the best websites being used by the NBA experts in the thread to collect all information about the teams and their statistics.

It's obvious, you just have to look at NBA.com if you are looking for statistics about teams and players information.

Definitely, we look for players injuries and such, but in the playoffs, you will read and see that a certain players got injured and chances to play are slim. But then again come game time they will show up. Case in point, Giannis, who got injured and then play in game 1.

Maybe you can follow ESPN on their twitter and other reliable sources of information.
3356  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why am I not optimistic about Compound? on: July 23, 2021, 12:58:12 PM
Lol, you don't need to discredit Compound here. Billions are already flowing on that project so I guess your premise is already flawed in the beginning.

If you wanted to shill for DeCredit, that's find but you don't need to attack the competition. On the contrary, show the pros of DeCredit and let the investors decided for themselves. And I'm thinking with the way to promote DeCredit here, it might back fired, just saying.

People here are smart, this is no longer 2017 wherein every shill you post here will received a lot of recognition.
3357  Economy / Speculation / Re: the next checkpoint $13,800 on: July 23, 2021, 11:52:14 AM
Only scenario I see going to 13.8k or more likely down to $0 is, if Klaus Schwab and his WEF gang start their cyber pandemic (they simulated it on July 9th 2021, just like they simulated covid outbreak (event 201) months (October 2019) before the actual covid outbreak) where the internet will not be accessible for weeks/months, leading to a global chaos, food shortages etc. Then they will blame it on Russian hackers and will give people only access to the internet with a digital ID passport. Cloudflare CEO agreed on this already. They will track each step you do, what websites you visit etc. And this time legally, since, just like Covid, its an global emergency. It is to protect you. Its for your safety. Just like any crisis before, the governments need to create a crisis to implement new laws that could not have been implemented without that crisis.

Thats when crypto will become worthless, since there will be no more privacy. Thats their only chance to destroy crypto. And earlier or later they will do this. You read it now daily on the news, that major websites are down, more often the internet is not accessible, sometimes your mobile is not working etc. Its them. They preparing people to whats coming. But involved media is telling people its once again the evil Russians.

Nah, I don't think it will happen, just another simulation and it seems to be ridiculous scenario to me.

So I also don't see bitcoin going on this price. And as far as checkpoint goes, there is $15k $20k, $25k support levels. Just imagine seeing the price going to $20k? Isn't it a bargain and I don't think that investors will just let this one slip away. They are going to invest tons of money again in the market, so recovery is there all the time if those checkpoints have been broken.
3358  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: July 23, 2021, 10:50:33 AM
This could be the last time we see a Donaire vs Inoue fight, so Donaire should train harder, for himself to the limit so he can beat the best. He still has that powerful punch, his last fight was very impressive but with a moving target like Inoue, I know it's hard but who knows Donaire could catch him and KO him early.

For a gambler, betting on Donaire is good as the odds should really be a sweet one, we can get at least +300 in this fight.

Or this could be Donaire's last fight  Smiley. He is 38 years old if I'm correct and there's no much attractive fight out there for him if he losses this fight unless he wants to be a stepping stone for the young guns of this weight category which I doubt he will do.

I'll wait for some option like Inoue winning by decision and see if it's attractive but won't bet for Donaire here. Betting with head and not with heart but I would be very happy if he wins this fight.

Yep, this could be it for Donaire, so me thinking that he will go all in this fight and will try to knock out Inoue. So this will be war from the first round.

Donaire, can't go up in weight, we have seen it before and didn't end well for him. He has knock out of Nicolas Walters.

But maybe he can go after Casimero for fun and giggles.

On the contrary, I think Donaire will still campaign in this division even if he lost to Inoue again.

No need to go up in weight, he can't bring his power, and as you have said, his first attempt was a failure.

He can still remain relevant after a potential lost, and fight others including the winner or loser of the Casimero vs Rigo match.

I also lost yesterday, it was the under bet between Dere vs Bergs match. I though Dere has it in the bag and that my bet could be a W. Unfortunately, it went to 3rd set. Dere though eventually won the match, but extending it to 3 sets.

Casper Ruud vs D. Novak now in the first set, I have Ruud winning here, but I haven't put any bet yet. String of losses for me in this tournament already.

I have a string of losses also in this tournament with Shapovalov loosing his match
yesterday. There are a lot of players, the vast majority of them while being very good and
vary capable of winning more are just not able to put wins together consistently like Federer,
Nadal and Djokovic.

Is it just that there are a lot of players who are at the same level and more and more new players
are able to come up to that level?

Casper Ruud won in a very close game.

Gaston vs Garin (4), is now on play, Gaston already won the first set,  6-4 maybe we can see another upset. If Garin lost, it's only Ruud (3)  and Paire (6) are the seeded players remaining. But they are going to face each other later, so only one seeded player are going to make it on the semis. This tournament turns out to be very unpredictable.

Yeah, probably new players have improved a lot, and trying to catch up with the rank players here.
