3381  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Anti-Islamofascism Demonstrations in Europe? on: February 07, 2016, 05:20:29 AM
Just move to israel [sic] if you are covering in such fear  Roll Eyes

One of the amusing things about this situation is that germany [sic] has decided to live like the Israelis for a while.

Regarding "such fear" -- I often hear this theme. It's the "Islamophobia" nonsense. I don't think speaking out against a backwards savage totalitarian belief system like Islam is a sign of "fear" -- quite the opposite.

Does the fact that you speak out against the "far right"/PEGIDA indicate that you have "fear" of them?

Hmmm...
In that case I'm a liberalophobe then.
I'm more afraid of them lefties making the world go to shiit like there idiotic immigration plan for example and driving all out western countries into the ground with debt and welfare that I am afraid of IS and PEGIDA combined X2..
3382  Other / Meta / Re: The BTCTalk account Jude Austin has been stolen from me, DO NOT TRUST THEM! on: February 07, 2016, 05:09:57 AM
If the account hacker is the btcsprout guy then you can out him, screw up his ponzi because people probably won't deposit to it anymore because he is caught for hacking accounts. But then all the ponzi investors loose there money anyway.

And just because you out the hacker as the ponzi operator does not mean that it is going to STOP him from hacking accounts..

How can the account hacks be STOPPED? Is this another case where a lot of accounts got hacked a while ago and they are slowly trickling out? Or are these accounts being hacked one by one currently even now?

I can't imagine being able to brute force the passwords with the 45 second delay and you would think admin would see that happening in time or something..

What do you think is going on with this?
3383  Other / Meta / Re: The BTCTalk account Jude Austin has been stolen from me, DO NOT TRUST THEM! on: February 07, 2016, 04:42:07 AM
Could you yet again confirm, that you had no control over your account from the January 22nd foreward?

Because this is getting interesting. The new "owner" had a sucessful trade with Wardrick on the 28th.
From the risked amount in his feedback (0.12btc), the date and Wardricks known addresses (had an exchange with him myself shortly later), I believe this is the related transaction.
Funds come from 13QZqN9KQQZhs2VNfgNUzw4DWW4Pn31uwJ, an address which is part of a fairly large wallet.

For example, it is connected to the address 1BSPTMigMqYsjm3rn6Fu76DNADcuaEUR8G via this transaction.

BTCSPROUT only own these addresses:
https://blockchain.info/address/1BSPTMigMqYsjm3rn6Fu76DNADcuaEUR8G
http://blockchain.info/address/1SPTPYbUgXsk6HxCz9kkCemWjBeSgwtsA
Do not spread lies about BTCSprout as I have worked extremely hard to satisfy all of my investors.

Does that mean that the account hacker and the ponzi btcsprout are connected? As in the same person behind both?
3384  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: If I wanted to buy a miner for demonstrations where would I look? on: February 06, 2016, 10:30:30 PM
Couldn't you CPU mine with just about any available computer for your demonstration?

Your timeframe was a bit off there Bruno but the outcome just the same..

I knew(thought) this guy was a scammer since the first time he PM'd me asking for a loan.

Then I was even called a "dickhead" or something like that for calling him out by someone. (Maybe I should find that post.)

Then this guy still PM'd me asking me for loans many times and posted in my lending thread asking for loans of all different amounts and collaterals etc. over and over.

I felt a bit bad for turning down all his loans but then it started to get annoying so freakin many loan requests to me.

I didn't say/post anything about this guy's multiple attempts to extract BTC from me because I was previously ridiculed for doing so. Maybe if I would have spoke up he would have been outed sooner and have been able to scam less if not at all.

But he didn't get a single satoshi from me...
3388  Other / Off-topic / Re: Gas prices on: February 03, 2016, 02:31:27 AM
I sure have been enjoying the low prices lately. I hope the low prices are still here when the snow melts enough for me to take the motorhome to the gas station to top it off..

I'm surprised that there has not been any big news break on this still. Maybe whoever did whatever is going to get away with it.
3392  Economy / Speculation / Re: We will be at 600+ again after all the FUD is cleared on: February 01, 2016, 03:44:25 AM
I agree, it is beat way down by all the negativity. If/when a scailability solution is successfully implemented we will be in for a hell of a ride.
3393  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I "Think" that I found Satoshi Nakamoto on: February 01, 2016, 03:31:31 AM
The community is so cynical that if he did step forward nobody would believe it was him! I think he probably knows that and wouldnt waste his time trying to prove who he is. Meaning he will continue to remain anom.

It would be very easy for him to prove he was satoshi by signing a message from any of the old bitcoin addresses that are known to be his.
3394  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Price going back to $250??? on: February 01, 2016, 12:59:56 AM
With so much negativity in the crypto atmosphere it might. Bit I'm just going to keep on accumulating no matter the price.
3395  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: 6 hours since sending from Electrum and it hasnt gone through on: February 01, 2016, 12:58:25 AM
What exactly do you mean by it says it hasn't sent? Post the addresses you are sending to/from..
3396  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: questions about trading. on: January 30, 2016, 11:04:15 AM
USDT is pegged pretty well to the USD $$ and it is pretty much designed to be USD by proxy with the capabilities of a crypto coin.
3397  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Why soft fork is a very bad idea and should be avoided at all costs on: January 29, 2016, 12:33:13 AM
What I am getting from reading all this:

Soft fork = 51% attack = no new fork for those that don't agree, no new 2nd coin

Hard fork = Consensus = yes new fork for those who disagree, or rather a new fork for those who want the change, making 2 coins

In my mind 51% is not = to consensus. To me consensus mean 95%+ or with the hard fork you choose to use the old coin and not the new coin if you don't like the change and if it doesn't work out the good old bitcoin is still there VS the soft fork that changes bitcoin wether 49% of others like it or not..

Am I understanding this correctly?
3398  Economy / Computer hardware / WTB Screen for HP Pavilion touchscreen 15-p051us on: January 28, 2016, 11:42:05 PM
What I would like is the whole screen half hinges and all but the only parts I really need is the glass screen (with digitiser thing?) and the back plastic clamshell cover for the back of the screen..

What happened: Brand new laptop and in less than a year the screws came loose that hold the right hinge to the screen half. This got sloppy until the hinge pretty much ripped off the back clamshell cover and broke that corner of the back cover off where the screws hold it on. IIRC 2 of the 3 screws came out and the last one broke stuff from trying to hold on it's own.

I took it apart and put a bolt all the way through the hinge and back clam cover with a big washer on the outside and that fixed that. But when I was putting it back together I got the little wire for the webcam I think across the little clip deals that rout the wire wrong. The little wire was in the way and when I went to squeeze/snap the glass screen back into the clam cover after fixing the hinge my glass screen cracked. I can't believe I made this stupid mistake and kick myself in the a**..

It's only got 2 little cracks on the left side and I have been using it like this for a while but it killed the touchscreen part. It kept like constantly clicking/touching on/around the spot that cracked so I disabled the touchscreen driver so I can use the computer.

I'm hoping that one of you techies might have one that you could give me a good deal on. The whole thing or just the parts I would need to fix it. I mostly just need whatever part to fix the glass screen.

Do any of you know what is all required to replace just the glass? Like can you separate just the glass from the rest of the screen or do you have to replace it with the digitizer or whatever on these models?

Or if you could help me find the parts at a decent price somewhere that would be cool too.. Or know a good place to send it out to be fixed? About what do you think that would cost?
