341  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Keeping A Record Of Your Losses Will Make You Realize To Stop Gambling on: April 09, 2020, 02:38:24 AM
I have always kept a record of my gambling when it comes to sports betting as I like to track if I'm making a profit each year or a losing year. My strategy is when I have a losing week or I see more then two days in a row where I've had losing days, I take a break and come back in 3-5 days time and I have found that this helps me out a lot. Its always good to take a break after a bad couple of days as for me it stops me from betting more to make up losses which so many do and end up losing more so I suggest people take breaks when they have a losing patch, it can help a lot so keeping a record can help track losing days.
Tracking our past records of our gambling history is necessary especially if we want to know if we are still profitable in doing gambling. I have spreadsheets where I record my history their everytime I bet in esports or any sports related online betting for me to know my strength and weaknesses. Before I bet, I also record my emotions and also after the results; I also record my emotions and feelings. I always giving care on how I feel because gambling psychology is also important and we cannot ignore it especially if we want to be a better gambler.
342  Economy / Economics / Re: Virus Bear Market? on: April 09, 2020, 01:38:05 AM
All people are affected on this pandemic this includes cryptocurrency investors. Most had sell their crypto to be able to survive since the pandemic had caused the ecomy to fall. This totally affected crypto market as a whole. If the economic effect of the will last for a year,  the crypto market as we expect it to grow when the halving occurs might not take it's course.
I think there will be a small effect to the price of the bitcoin after the halving or maybe there will no effect at all. This crisis will be recorded in the history because of the collapsing of the economy. It is true that there are now investors who are selling their cryptocurrencies and other speculative assets because they need cash to survive while the lockdown is still occurring. I don't know on how many days it will take before our economy to recover.
343  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Any Casino with good Investment Returns? on: April 08, 2020, 01:13:56 AM
I'm not aware that there is certain a gambling site where we can do investments for us to make money. Fort hose who want to make bankroll investments, I think it is better if we will just create a new gambking casino or website but the thing is the capital. Anyway, there are many ways to have huge capital like crowdfunding, gambling sites and casinos are profitable but the competition is so stiff.
At first that sounds easy but in reality it'll be difficult to make your own casino successful because at this point you'll be competing with the reputable and newly launched ones. Imo you'll be better off investing at one of the most popular casinos even if you have a lot of money to start your own casino it takes way too much time before everything pays off. Having your own casino is nice but on the other side you could get way more just by letting your bitcoins sit on their casinos.
A big fund should required in order to launch successful online casinos, there are also legal requirements that should fulfill first in order to able to operate in different countries. The marketing budget should be also huge in order to promote it in all over the world and in all over the internet. There are now many big online casinos around the internet and it is hard to face especially for those only have small budget to start the casino.
344  Economy / Economics / Re: How long this crisis will be? on: April 08, 2020, 12:12:05 AM
Although I don't believe that it'll stop before a few years will pass, I still think that this needs to be stopped in 2020 itself for the economy to survive the death of itself and revive as much as possible for every single citizen. And it's not the Government here who needs to understand but the citizens are all expected to follow the rules that just come up.
The economy cannot completely collapse and then quickly recover itself. It’s enough to recall at least President Hoover, who also believed that the invisible hand of the market would do everything by itself. But in the end, the US economy collapsed and killed many people.

It is continuing to collapse, and I read recently that thw FED is printing many dollars that can make the dollar to become worthless due to the supply and demand.
For sure they will experience high inflation after this crisis, the Dow jones also are completely crashed but the good thing is we can do shorting their. It took 4 months to see a all time highs in the stocks and indices in U.S. and it only took 1 week to crashed and to wipe up all of the gains there.
345  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crowded Casinos - Play or not? on: April 07, 2020, 05:41:18 AM
snip >>>

some officials report it might be ten times higher than the known cases. This makes it very dangerous to go to crowded places without getting infected, no matter if its a casino, a sports game or a church. Stay home for now and visit a casino a later time this year.

Maybe everyone should be aware of this so they will know the risk, we can't take chances, we only have one life and if that will be taken to us, it will be over. There are still a lot of opportunity to gamble, we know that gambling in a physical casino gives a different kind of fulfillment but versus the risk, it's not worth taking.
The risk of having social interactions by going to offshore casinos, now that this virus is keep affecting more and more people the chance of using
online casinos will be more favorable, after this virus and once gamblers learn the advantages of online casinos the practice of going to offshores
will be lessen, only those who are aiming to feel the thrill and enjoy people around will proceed and playback but those who are care especially with
their health online casino will replace the venue.
The good news is the gambling casinos are now closed because of the threat of the virus. The interaction of the people inside the casino are really close to each other that can make the virus to spread fast. For those gamblers eho cannot play casinos because of the lockdown, they should  try online casinos maybe their skills are also suitable to it and they can earn money and have enjoyment.
346  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling a threat or fun? on: April 07, 2020, 04:01:33 AM
I am not sure about others but for me gambling is a fun. I gamble once in a while and it is some what refreshing for me. Regular gambling cannot be fun it is addiction  and addiction is always a threat.
Being addicted will really threat to your money to lose money because a player have greediness of earning money.
It is also fun becausd when a person stress or lonely once they play gambling games most of them are become happy because it is also games but involve money. As long as you are regular play gambling is not a threat.
But there are people who make huge amount of money even they are addicted to gambling. There are now many famous people who achieved financial freedom through gambling. It really depends on the view of the gambler on how he see gambling. For me gambling is not a threat and it is opportunity for me to earn money. Even though it has a high risk, I have strategies and techniques for me to handle it very carefully.
347  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you think about Arbitrage trading... on: April 07, 2020, 02:58:04 AM
I'm also like to start arbitrage trading. I have see much people make big profit from arbitrage trading.

But that's correct, cryptocurrency trading is risk. But, how do I handle greed after see that?  Roll Eyes

NOTE: I don’t khow bituary trust or scam

Its a scam.. That exchange is unknown and there are lots of exchangers out there which is reputable and been trusted for years.
Arbitrage trading is a rare case scenario here on trading world. You can spot out these opportunities but there are lots of factors that
would affect profitability like fees etc.

In most cases that do happen when an arbitrage opportunity on where you cant even deposit on a certain exchange or in short
they do close deposits on the other hand these kind of opportunities doesnt last long.
It is better for me to do leveraged trading than to arbitrage trading, like what you said it is only rarely to see a opportunity while doing arbitrage trading. There are many scam exchanges so we should be careful on putting our money because there is a high chance that we cannot get it back. There are people who make money in arbitrage trading but does people are highly trained where they master the risks management and they know and aware to all trading factors that can affect their trades.
348  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is like day trading ? on: April 07, 2020, 01:57:12 AM
~ snip ~
Correct, sports gambling shouldn't be compared/equated with day trading, they are different. Day trading requires specific skills such as read charts, analyze market trends, know volatility & liquidity, set targets, understand the use of "stop losses", etc. While sports gambling doesn't require many skills as the day trading, you just read historical data (as you said) and try to guess.

we should also remember that more than 90% of day traders lose money on the long run
and regarding to gamblers.... I have no idea

does anyone check these statistics?
Where did you find that kind of statistics? But maybe I'll agree to you that onle few day traders are having consistency in the market due to the volatility. I cannot find any similarities between day trading and gambling except it is both risky. I am both gambler and trader and the approaches are really different to each other so I cannot say thats gambling is like day trading.
349  Economy / Speculation / Re: Guys avoid panic sell... on: April 07, 2020, 12:40:21 AM
It is hard to not panic especially if you are emotionally attached to your trades. Even professional traders are having a hard time to trade without emotions. Panicking is not good and that is why we should master our own psychology. Only ourselves can help our mentality and our psychology to be improved in order to handle huge stressed that can prevent from us to do panic. We have high chance of success if we do not emotionally attached to our trades.
350  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Creating Missouri Belle Casino on: April 06, 2020, 05:48:55 AM

Missouri Belle Casino is just a casino in the Ozark tv series and they have a commercial uploaded on youtube. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DNaYfLvUyqc

If I created such casino like missouribelle.com, will there be a problem?

I'm just thinking having it will cost less for marketing of the casino, is this possible to do without encountering problems like trademark infringement or something?

Why would you need to create the casino with the same name of  "Missouri Belle " ? You can create the casino with any other name and have no fear of trademarks etc.

Secondly do you have funds to open a casino ? Marketing can be done cheaply and effectively if you hire good marketing manager.

no he didnt say he will copy everything or copying the exact name but he said he wants a simillar one  . i assume he  was referring to the promotion which was aired on tv and on youtube  . about the funds , yes he have a fund because he was planning to create a casino but his funds could be limited only  . no problems can be experience as long as he dont copy the overall site but to be aired on tv's isnt easy and not cheap  however youtube is free but will be tough too to get attention if he dont have a proper gambling channel  or simply dont have a big user base
I think it is better if he is aware about the copyright. Even though he will not copy the name of the fictional casino, still he want to copy the features of it. There will be a conflict especially if he created similar to Missouri Belle Casino. And also how do say that he has enough money about creating a online casino? There are many expenses in creating online gambling so it costs huge amount of money. 1-10 btc is not enough especially if the goal of the creator is to be part of the top gambling casinos.
351  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Great buying oppurtunity... on: April 06, 2020, 03:49:46 AM
Expedia, has formed perfect double bottom pattern in 1 day chart. One of the worst hit sectors because of corona. Things are only going to good from here. 85b $ worth of company, I am sure we will see a quick 50-100% growth in few months.
After corona, this stock will sky rocket for sure.
There is a big chance that the market will skyrocket once we can recover from this pandemic but we are not yet sure if when will be this pandemic to end. But right now if we are going to check the market condition, I agree that it is a the best opportunity to buy more and stock it until the market will recover again.

Upon checking the market, most of the graph are slowly increasing which is a good sign that the growth can't be stop by any pandemic and if you are going to picture out what else if the pandemic will be finished then a quick growth will surely to happen.
There will be a recovery in all types of market after this crisis. But I do not think that this time is the best time to buy stocks in a long position because the trend is still bearish. I think it is better if we do short position because it can give us advantage. Observe most of the financial market, all of them are down and I know that it will take more time before we see another bullish market.
352  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you gamble right after coronavirus outbreaks? on: April 06, 2020, 02:46:48 AM
I'm not the gambler who often go to the casino, I'm a type of gambler who usually playing in the house and accessing different gambling sites and games. I prefer only than going in crowded casinos, the ambiance of the casinos are good but what I don't like is the players because when I play slot machines there, the players besides you are smoking cigarettes and I'm one of the people who don't like the smell of the cigarettes and that is why it is more comfortable for me and more convenient if I will just access online gambling casinos.
I often go in casino with my family and we planned to go in casino after the corona virus outbreak. There are casinos in my country that can be considered as 5 star hotels and their accommodation are too good. What I like in casinos is the experience, there is an excitement unlike in online gambling where you just touching and betting through your screen. For me online and physical casinos are both convenient.
353  Economy / Speculation / Re: Comeback for the bitcoin on: April 06, 2020, 01:51:06 AM
It was good to see that the market in the way to full recovery but I'm not thinking that there are a lot of people who are now buying Bitcoin. Maybe we could say that they just keep their Bitcoin rather than selling this time. But as we are still fighting for the pandemic, we can't expect that the market will be in bullish nor halving will make a huge pump. We are looking for huge market support to help the market in the rallying back but have to miss this thing knowing that we are still in the outbreaks.
Expecting bullish trend in the cryptocurrency market while there is still crisis? Of course it is impossible because this crisis is not ordinary due to the death related problem, even though halving is near; I do not think that it can boost the price of the bitcoin too much. I expect only small movement because we are still in the crisis and the selling pressure in the market is still high.
354  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Suggestions for online gamblers on: April 06, 2020, 12:34:36 AM
There are already 10's or even a hundred kinds of threads similar to this which do talks about suggestions or tips on how we do should deal with gambling activity.

Aside from those points above you had mentioned then i would suggest not to forget the golden rule when we do gamble which is "Dont gamble on the amount that you cant afford to lose"
this had always been said and reminded for those who do gamble because if you cant easily accept that you do lose money then it would end up for you to chase losses
and we know on what would be the next thing to that.
Always follow the golden rule because you will become part of the people who have huge debt or people who mostly lose their minds because they cannot control their own emotions. People are allocating too much and they are just expecting profit and not losses, gambling is game of luck and chances and there is no sure win here so all of the people who want to gamble their money should expect losses here.
355  Economy / Gambling / Re: Proof that Freebitco.in game is not provably fair. on: April 05, 2020, 05:42:28 AM
Freebitco.in has been in business for years now and it has been very transparent with their process.
That's why they also display their process of calculating their next roll. They also show the client seed and nonce used for calculating the previous roll.
So it's just a matter of luck I would say. If your luck was too bad you can even lose 20 times in a row and then win the next ones.
If your luck is too good you can even win 10 times in a row. 47% chances of winning in no way guarantees that the number acquired would definitely make you a profit. It's just pure luck.
It is all about luck, I previously used Freebitcoin.in and for me they are fair and not doing any bad and that is why for me that they are transparent. You lose 13 times because your multiplier is x2. It is better if you will earn more experience in order for you to understand how the dice games work. Maybe you try other dice games in other sites that have look a like with the dice game of freebitcoi.in
356  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Long term investment vs. Swing trading vs. Daily trading on: April 05, 2020, 04:01:07 AM
I am not good at swing trading and daily trading because for me it is a little more difficult because I have to keep an eye on the market every time I am honest because I can't do it.
I better choose a long-term investment and wait years to get a big profit, now at the right time we can buy as much as we can and then hold it in the next 1-2 years I am sure this will be the best way for me to long time.

since you've mentioned long term investment and hodl for several years, then you must take at look at ilcoin. great time to buy as of now with very good long term potential.

Yes, investing with Altcoin is best for long-term investments i prefer long-term trading also as daily trading Long-term trading involves expecting an extended time But from day to day trading I can make some money from here I earn more by trading daily.

Whatever strategy you have in your mine as long as you are gaining benefits that strategy should be enhance from time to time, a lots of different types of traders those who are willing to risk their investment in a daily process can also take decent amount of profits when they do the right anticipations, while
swing trading takes some more days and weeks long term holders take a bunch of months up to years just to attained their target rewards.
I'm a medium term trader where my favorite setup is swing trades, yes it took days to weeks or even months but that strategy is suitable for me unlike the day trading where I have low winning rate because of the volatility. Different strategies requires different skills, there are people who are good with long term trader there are also good with day trading. Identify what kind of play that you are going to use in order to make profit in this kind of market.
357  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and health 🤕symptoms on: April 05, 2020, 02:56:44 AM
Crypto gambling still got addictions as well and we can't say people will not smoke or drink if they are doing bets in online because cigarettes and liquors are available at each corner of this world..This may reduce the chances of meeting the people who have already got these addictions.
It's avoiding interactions from those people since you are playing online and you are inside your house or place that you don't have those many companions, but there's no assurance that you can remove such vices if you already have such addictions, you can go and smoke it up and drink
alcohol even you are alone.

Most gamblers have that combination of addiction - alcohol and cigarette. But if you will continue to drink while playing, can you focus on what you're doing? I guess at some point you are not sober to know what's happening. So if you are playing, better drink moderately, because it might cause you to lose all your money because you are not in good condition to know what's going on with your game.

I found out that these 2 vices are common to most gamblers. Both of them are harmful to the body but it is up to the gambler how far he will accommodate those 2 things in his life while gambling. Health and financial aspect are in danger with all these combinations though.
Try to observe gamblers in the crowded casinos,  you will see that they are gambling with vices around them like smoking cigarettes, vape and there are some casinos that drinking alcohol is okay. I'm a gambler but I'm not a type of gambler who have vices like smoking and drinking alcohol. Anyway I'm not addicted to gambling so for me it is not considered as my vices because I only do gambling when I have free time.
358  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will 2020 be exactly what we hoped for anymore on: April 05, 2020, 01:53:01 AM
There is a crisis that we are still facing but I think everything will be alright especially if we focus on improving our skills and our knowledge. The current trend is bearish where the prices is gradually declining, people are afraid to trade because they think that they will just lose money in a downtrend. It maybe true if you do not have right skills and mindset but if we focus on developing our skills then maybe we can use it to earn in this bearish market.
359  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is like day trading ? on: April 05, 2020, 12:54:32 AM
For those who will start day trading and they are still beginners in the market then it will be a disaster because they cannot handle the volatility of the cryptocurrencies. Day trading is like a gambling for those people who will yet to start because they still do not what they will do and it is like a gambking that putting their decisions base on their instincts and relying to their trusts.
360  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Keeping A Record Of Your Losses Will Make You Realize To Stop Gambling on: April 04, 2020, 05:09:04 AM
Nope i will never do this for my Own peace of mind, how can you afford looking all the time that the amount is too big compared to how much you win.
better forget this stupidity and Just gamble when you have money and make a rigth decision everytime you gamble.there are so many gamblers that fail because of no discipline and becoming greed as the gambling goes on.

That will give another stress for us if we look at the money that we lost in gambling. Besides that, it can make us cannot sleep well because our mind will think about how we are going to get that money. But having that record can give information about the average of the funds that we use every week or month so we can try to reduce or we can do something to avoid a big loss.
Recording the losses and the wins are part of journalizing,  professional traders are using it in order to find their strengths and their weakness. It is really depends on the person on what he/she will do to their records. Yes it can stop you to gamble anymore but the goal why he/she records will understand more the reasons behind it. I record my losses in order for me to know what is wrong and how I will avoid in order for me to have high chances to win in any gambling games and features.

I think some traders are doing that by making a file that recorded their history in trading, so they know how much their profit and loss. And if they lose, they will try to get back the money in the future. But if in gambling, I don't know about that because maybe some gamblers have that journal for themselves. But for other people, that will make them sad to see how much their loss compare to their win. Yes, that will depend on the person, and every gambler is free to create a journal or not. I hope you can know that in gambling, the chances will be there, but the problem is we don't know when the luck will help us to recover the loss.

trading and gambling are verry simillar activities so yes both recording stuffs can be done  . if pro people do this idea then why not us that are not really that pro ? this should be beneficial so that you are aware if how much you already loose when the time you started gambling but also lets keep in mind that prices of coins fluctuate or dont have the same value everytime you depo and loose   .  better if you can also track your deposits if what time you made it and the time you play that fund for more accurate calculations  .
Yes gambling is risky same as trading so people may lose and win in it if they will keep the record it may help them reduce the risk. People should know how much they are earning and how much they lost so this estimation will tell them is gambling suitable for them or not. If winning is more than lose then its good to keep gaming other wise you need to learn more about gambling.
Both are risky but gambling is more riskier than trading because it is full of possibilities unlike in trading where you need to havw technical analysis skill wherr you can able to read charts and have decisions in order for you to formulate strategies or techniques that you will use. I do both recording and journaling in both trading and gambling in order for me to know if I'm keep winning or losing.
