At the moment, Maxcoin is in the stranglehold of a few mining pools, and that is dangerous. Mining pool squabbles, so prevalent in this thread, could also be eliminated by POS. I believe the time is right to go fully POS. Does anyone have any powerful arguments as to why not?

What is it with Startcoin 2, price keeps going down, as well as hashrate. Official pool now has irrelevant hashrate, so it's only some other pool or maybe solo miners. I converted my v1 to v2 coins few days ago, but now it seems I shouldn't have done it, as price of v1 coins is much higher.  I don't know how you plan to fund projects with Startcoin if it's value is going to be close to 0? Airdrop will just create further pressure on the price. i hate to say but have to agree on that ... Wow, price dropped below MAX which has one of the most inept devs on the planet. Fail? |

eKrona is nothing, just another lackluster scrypt coin with poor specs like 324 block diff re-target. At least Max has a good algo like sha3 that saves electricity for miners.
Scrypt is indeed inferior to sha-3 but at this time, if you are interested in acquiring Max, it's best to mine scrypt and use the BTC to buy Max. Once Max finds it bottom this situation might change. |
