Not all people from Arabian or Muslim nations are bad people but entities like terrorism organizations do need money sources for their operations. I am not surprised if a finding is true, not fake and not a borrow reason to make Hamas looks worse.

I think about this news like governments say Bitcoin is a tool for money laundering, it is not true if they don't mention about Bitcoin in a whole picture. When people censor a whole picture to reach their target to attack something, someone or some entities, it is no longer facts.

North Korea has Lazardus to help them hack many cryptocurrency projects, bridges to bring money back to their dictatorship nation and serve their government. They just do similar thing like Hamas through cyber attacks to get money.
342  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Yesterday marked 200 days to Bitcoin Halving on: October 12, 2023, 01:23:47 PM
While the hashrate plays a vital role in how the miners get the block confirmed fast. I don’t see it greatly affecting the date of this halving because of the difficulty adjustment that the bitcoin network has. Once we get to see a huge increase of hashrate and the confirmation of block gets lower like below 10 minutes (say lowest 7 minutes, because I don’t see it getting lower than that) then after a confirmation of 2016 blocks the difficulty will definitely adjust to accommodate that high hashrate and if it gets higher again it will still adjust and make it hard to get solve the puzzle that gets the block confirmed and vice verse should it get lower.
Each difficulty epoch is about 14 days, 2016 blocks and if from today till block 840,000 the Bitcoin network has many times of hashrate shocks, the estimate date of Bitcoin halving will be changed more, later than expected.

2016 blocks will trigger the difficulty adjustment but if within 2016 blocks, you have like 6 hours of longer time, you can multiply it to 10 shocks like that and the halving date will be 60 days later than estimated. If it is an issue to estimate correct halving date, it will be not a delay you like.

I don't have problem with inaccurate halving estimate date because it is not my interest. What I need is in 2024, Bitcoin block reward will be halved and it will give a Bitcoin market very good force to rise.
343  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Recommended non KYC fiat on ramp(s) - "whitelisted" by tradfi banks on: October 12, 2023, 12:25:21 PM
Unfortunately, there is no (or I personally do not know of) a trusted regulated centralized entity conducting financial activities (accepting fiat) without KYC and AML.
They have to make sure their business services don't break any AML rules in their nation and continent like in the Europe, they likely will be governed by European Union law together with their national laws and regulations.

The only solution I see for you is ATM and cash or finding a P2P trade. Maybe even here on forum.
Maybe you did not imply about Bitcoin ATMs that charge very expensive trading fees and I don't recommend people to use Bitcoin ATMs if they can have other options and access to Bitcoin.

In some nations, Bitcoin ATMs don't mean KYC free so it's one more reason to not consider using Bitcoin ATM as a first option.
344  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Hobby Bikes with Bitcoin on: October 12, 2023, 12:19:21 PM
I have currently bought about $750 worth of bitcoins to fulfill my dream. One of the reasons for this is that the Bitcoin halving will begin in the early 2024, after which the market is expected to grow again. At the moment, the price of Bitcoin is like this. I bought the amount of Bitcoin with 750 dollars in this situation. If the price of Bitcoin doubles from the current price, then my dream will be one step further.
Was I right to invest in Bitcoin to buy my dream bike?
It is a good decision you made to buy bitcoin, not shitcoins.

Bitcoin is safe for you as an investment and because you don't hope higher than doubling your capital, you can get it in 2024 bull run after the halving. Maybe some months after the halving, your dream will come true. In the mean time, you must store your bitcoin safely. $750 is good amount so you can afford to pay withdrawal fee from exchange to your non custodial wallet where you can store your bitcoin more safely.

Use free wallet (open source, non custodial) like Electrum wallet.

Reminder: do not keep your money in online accounts

I know that if our posts get deleted by the mods and there are many of them, it means that we are making low value posts, they are being reported and eventually getting deleted.
When your posts are deleted by forum moderators, you will receive notifications in your inbox. Those Deletion notifications will be warning and red flag for  you to stop your low quality posts.

You only don't receive deletion notification if a thread is deleted including your posts in it.

Signature Campaign Guidelines (read this before starting or joining a campaign)

Staff do not want to hand out bans for unconstructive posts but if we feel that you as a user are continually making very poor or unsubstantial posts due to your paid signature the following bans will be issued:

First offence: 7 days
Second offence: 14 days
Third offence: 30 days
Fourth: Permanent ban

Your first ban is your first warning. If you have to be banned for a fourth time it is permanent and you will no longer be allowed to participate on the forum under any accounts.

In some cases, we may get tagged by the DT members for being a shit poster.
Shit posters can be easily detected by post histories and I don't need a DT member trust feedback to know a member is a shit poster.

Anyhow I want to know that if we delete our posts ourselves, does it have a bad effect on our account and can we still get tagged or something or it is completely normal ?
You can do it if you want but after deleting some of your posts, you must think a more important thing. Why did you make shit posts, then deleted them? Why will you not stop making shit posts and won't have to waste your time to delete your shit posts?

Brentford was not a strong team to make a problem for a team like Manchester United and I think were expecting a much better performance from Ten Hag and his players but until the last minutes of the game Manchester United was about to lose this game against Brentford. Scott McTominay saved his team and he scored two goals in the last minutes of the game, he said David Beckham inspired him for him good performance he had against Brentford.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/av/football/67041478
Brentford is not a strong team but they even could challenge Manchester United and almost won the match till 90+3 minute. The Fergie time came back and McTominay scored two late goals to first equalize the match to help Manchester United get three points and stop their crisis. This emotional win helps Ten Hag to save his job a little bit but he still has many things to do. It is not a convincing match and they even faced with a loss but a win is a good result for them to aim at future.

Scott McTominay and David Beckham are different types of midfielder so I am not sure why he tried to say about Beckham after the match. Previously, I did not know he considered Beckham as one of his idols.
347  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What can happen next time due to a lack of proper knowledge about Bitcoin? on: October 07, 2023, 11:29:29 PM
Well, don't you think if the whole world is dominated by cryptocurrency or bitcoin, then some people will face a huge problem?
The world will continue its spins without Bitcoin or cryptocurrency and you can live well without it. There are even people who dislike Bitcoin and cryptocurrency but their life just has never been worse or stopped.

What belongs to future will be adapted by people who live and work in future. It's not too hard to adapt if it is something relates to your jobs and income. When you must do it to maintain your livelihoods, you will do it even you dislike it.

Work from home, work remotely, you can do it during pandemic time and after the pandemic. I am sure people can do it with Bitcoin and cryptocurrency, if the time comes. Like how they have to do it with the Internet, Windows, Microsoft office ...
348  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Governments Ban Cryptocurrency {Bitcoin} on: October 07, 2023, 03:38:22 PM
Simple.

They want to defend their fiat currencies and in future their CBDCs.
They try to reduce access of their citizens to Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies as much as possible because they see those currencies as threats for their fiat and CBDCs.

349  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN SUPPLY LIMIT on: October 07, 2023, 03:30:20 PM
Bitcoin mining now requires a lot of patience because at the current rate of Bitcoin mining, it is difficult to raise the mining cost.
As bitcoin miners, they want the opposite, reduce their mining cost and raise their mining profit. I am sorry but you are saying oppositely to the truth and what Bitcoin miners want to have.

Quote
There are many bitcoin miners in the world, not one or two miners, and only a certain amount is mined for each block, so it is not profitable to mine now.  Yet many mine to fulfill their hobby.
If they are newbies, they can mine Bitcoin to get experience but if they are professional miners, they do Bitcoin mining for profit, not for fun, curiosity or to satisfy their hobby.

Quote
The supply and demand of Bitcoin is very negligible right now so it is a great opportunity for us to save Bitcoin for the future.  0.0244140625 BTC will be mining rate when we start living around 2050. Then the price of Bitcoin will skyrocket. And those of us who are now failing to save bitcoins will just be hollering then
Bitcoin miners have to pay their costs like power bills, buying ASICs, maintenance, staff operations and more activities needed for mining. They can not hold all bitcoin they received from mining process.

You again used a wrong term. Mining rate, it is not a right term and the correct term is Bitcoin block reward. You must know Bitcoin miners receive bitcoin from block reward and transaction fee.

You know what, it's all about those lucky folks who are sharp enough to spot those life-changing opportunities. We can't turn back time, so we've got to find inspiration moving forward. I'm not sure if we'll ever accumulate a significant amount of Bitcoin in the future.
We can not turn back time and there is no time traveling machine to use but we can fix our past mistakes or missing chances. We are still not too late in the party and we still have time to accumulate bitcoin.

The most painful mistake is not missing or ignoring Bitcoin years ago when you were exposed about it but it is when you want to be sharp and find hidden gems with altcoins. Most of altcoins are dead coins and the more effort to find altcoin hidden gems, a more risk you will lose money to scam coins.

351  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Many BTC does the Forum's Administrators Have? on: October 06, 2023, 09:27:06 PM
You must learn a basic, people can create and use as many Bitcoin addresses as they want. They can do it easily with a good open source non custodial Bitcoin wallet software.

What you tried to find is impossible and only tips of iceberg. Like you can not find any on-chain analytic tools or parametric that can give you how many people own bitcoin so far. They only are able to give you total number of Bitcoin addresses that have bitcoin.

Forum admins, moderators have their Bitcoin addresses on their profiles to get donations or salary.

Many Bitcoin developers have their donation addresses at https://bitcoindevlist.com/ (Bitcoin Donation Portal) but you can not know how many bitcoin each developer has.

If you continue with your dca plan and your funds get bigger, use Electrum on an airgapped device or buy a hardware wallet for better security.
If having an airgap device is impossible, another choice is using Electrum with multisig wallet that is safer than a single signature wallet.

Single signature or multi signature wallet, verify Electrum wallet file before using it to set up a wallet.

354  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Capital Gains Taxes - How do you know which BTC or ETH was sold? on: October 05, 2023, 11:26:19 AM
[Tutorial] Crypto taxes for beginners

Your cost basis price will be an average of your coins and you don't have to pick which coin is for your entry and exit for your tax report. I understand it like this and hope I am not wrong. Because picking old or new coin for taking profit does not make sense at all.

The bottom line is you must have documents, account reports from exchanges to use those documents as part of your personal tax report. You can not say about your cost basis, your taking profit basis without any proof.
355  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is my plan. on: October 05, 2023, 11:15:28 AM
I have come up with a plan of using the DCA method to accumulate a $50 monthly, my monthly payment from my job is $300, if my expenses will collect up $100 then $50 can be kept in crypto (Bitcoin) and another $100 for emergency funds then the remaining $50 can also be kept for personal things.
It is good to know you assign part of your income for emergency as you will never when you need an emergency fund.

You can imagine about your Dollar Cost Averaging progress with this website and input your $50 monthly DCA fund.

Now is the best time to buy Bitcoin, I am not in a hurry to start investing Bitcoin
When you are using DCA, there is no best time. Because by saying best time to buy Bitcoin, you are trying to find bottom price, timing the market. It is not how a person is using DCA think about the market and his investment plan.

Back to your $50 monthly DCA fund, you will have to do like 3 to 4 rounds of DCA before withdraw your bitcoin from an exchange account to your non custodial wallet. Withdraw your coin to your wallet when you see withdrawal fee is good enough for you.

356  Other / Meta / Re: Can one plagarise unintentionally? on: October 04, 2023, 11:07:38 AM
Plagiarism is more reserved for directly copying the original thought of others.
Copying thought of others is allowed only if a source link is used or it is put in a quote block. Without a quote block, a source link, it is plagiarism.

The ban is lenient and becomes more lenient last two years and community already question moderators about that. No official answer but in the past, if a plagiarism is made to earn money, to meet campaign post quota, it will cause a permanent ban. It is no longer true last two years and nowadays it seems shit posters are banned by AI-content more than by plagiarsim.
Plagiarism is what gets people permabanned, not just copying. Plagiarism is copying with the intent of passing the work off as your own. In essentially all cases, plagiarism deserves a permaban because it usually proves definitively that the person is here for the wrong reasons: to fill up space in order to get paid, not to actually discuss or contribute. If someone was able to convince us that they were plagiarizing just to eg. impress people rather than to fill up space, then a lesser ban of a few months might instead be warranted. But this has never happened AFAICR. (Arguments based on plausible deniability aren't going to work; we don't need to prove that you had the motive we see in your actions.)
357  Other / Meta / Re: Can one plagarise unintentionally? on: October 04, 2023, 10:24:07 AM
They can plagiarize intentionally or unintentionally but is it a forum responsibility?

The forum has a thread Unofficial list of (official) Bitcointalk.org rules, guidelines, FAQ that is pinned too. They don't read rules so it is their responsibility to deal with bans.

Ever since I joined this forum and learned that plagiarism is a strict rule that cannot be broken, I've been exceptionally cautious.
It is no longer strict and nowadays if a user is banned because of plagiarism, it does not come from a single plagiarized post but many so a permanent ban is well deserved.

There are rules, there are guides but they are creatively to invent new ways to plagiarize.

So using a Tor Domain is most recommended at this time if the Provider blocks Clearnet Domain access.

We are in the same country, can you access all Clearnet domains without a VPN?
Previously I also received an IP blocking warning, but after a few weeks, access was possible again.
Is it always recommended to use Tor Domain than Clearnet domain when using a mixer?

Clearnet domain is for guests who want to explorer a mixer only and when they decide to use that mixer, they are recommended to use Tor domain. If a person has intention to use a mixer, I believe there is no problem to explorer that mixer with its Tor domain at beginning too.

I know the issue you brought here is still an issue for anyone who visit the clearnet domain in restricted locations but will Coinomize team be able to fix it, I guess not.
359  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do we need to backup Screenshots balance on exchange? on: October 03, 2023, 03:06:28 PM
When Binance support replied to me, they asked me for my account uid, but I have a screenshot of the uid number. I gave them screenshots when I was withdrawing; if I hadn't had those screenshots, I probably wouldn't have been able to open my account, but somehow the screenshot as evidence helped.
Do you know that by giving a screenshot of your UID, you are creating more issues?

Like support will have to spend time to type your UID than just copy and paste it that is more easily.
Typing it manually from looking at your screenshot can cause typo and inaccuracy too.

For things you give in text, do it in text, don't do it in screenshot.

For your withdrawal history, you can go back to your email and forward Binance emails to you for your past withdrawals or you can regularly export your withdrawal history and save it.
360  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase got licensed In Singapore on: October 03, 2023, 11:27:33 AM
Coinbase has obtain a major payment institution (MPI) license from Monetary Authority of Singapore (MPS), the firm announced on 1st october. Actually, coinbase is united state based cryptocurrency exchange which is also now approved in singapore from the central bank of country.
Months ago, when the regulation in the USA. where they initially located, become stricter, Coinbase as other exchanges decide to diversify their risk by either leaving the USA or shutdown their service or open new branches with licenses in new nations. Singapore is a choice of Coinbase but Bybit left USA, Bittrex closed their exchange.

Some cryptocurrency companies consider Hongkong as their other options to move their companies there after some more friendly regulatory policies announced in Hongkong.

Coinbase is big and they are fighting against SEC just like Ripple and I hope they all will succeed. SEC should not win those lawsuits and become more unfriendly with cryptocurrencies.
