Napoli aren't going to bring Mourinho to Mazzarri's seat. De Laurentiis stated it clearly so I assume the speculations about it would end from now on. When it comes to what Mourinho's next team would be it is difficult to make sure of something now. The news I see the most recently is that Liverpool could think of bringing him at the end of the season. You know Klopp has announced his departure.

Yes it was a professional move when he didn't want to leave Roma in the lurch. Otherwise the offer from a Saudi team was really a huge one. 

Now it is quite complicated honestly. After the rumours linking him with Napoli started to spread it is really not known where he would prefer to go. For example ESPN says that he has just rejected a move to Saudi Arabia and he is looking for joining a European team. But some other sources explain the situation as the opposite of this.    If he can't sign a deal with a team in Europe he should definitely go to Saudi Arabia.

This is the problem for Barcelona right now. When we compare their statistics to Real Madrid in the La Liga in the image above we can clearly see it. Barcelona tend to concede so many goals. This number was 20 in 38 matches in the La Liga in the previous season. But they have conceded more in 20 league matches already.

Salah was able to play in only one of the group matches but Egypt still made it to last 16 phase. Doing this by getting 3 draws was really interesting though. 

Egypt have a lucky draw ahead. I don't think D.R. Congo will be able to eliminate them. Even without Salah I mean. In the quarter finals they would probably face Equatorial Guinea and I think Egypt would get past them as well. But in case of facing Senegal in the semi finals it would be really challenging. If Salah isn't still recovered by then Egypt can say goodbye to AFCON earlier.

This would make Klopp quite happy I guess as Salah would also return earlier.

Mourinho is really likely to return to the Serie A once again these days. There has been a meeting which is expected to take place between Mourinho and Napoli chairman De Laurentiis. Is there anyone who knows about if this meeting happened already or not?

It looks like Mazzarri won't be staying at Napoli much longer either just as Rudi Garcia. I found this manager change unnecessary in the first place. What did they see in Mazzarri anyway? If Mourinho or some other successful manager was brought to Rudi Garcia's place then I would have found it logical. But this was a move made in a rush which didn't have good results for them.

Agreed. Liverpool and Chelsea look technically no match in performance now. They got a draw against each other at Stamford Bridge before though. But it was the 1st week of the season at the same time. It isn't sensible to make assumptions from that week as a result.

But Salah won't be able to play against Chelsea in their upcoming duel - which is only 6 days away. This changes things a lot as Salah is a crucial member of the team. I think Liverpool might have more problems on scoring multiple goals depending on Chelsea's defense.

I don't think that Roma would get eliminated by Feyenoord. These two teams faced each other in the Conference League and Europa League in the recent times. Roma beat them to win the Conference League title and eliminated them from the Europa League later on. I don't see much change in balances between these teams now either.

There is a difference at Roma side though. They have brought De Rossi to the coach position. Do you think that he can be successful as Mourinho in such European tournaments I mentioned? Because the Europa League title must also be a target for them.

I agree with you about Verstappen. It is really boring to see the same driver becoming highly favoured every year. But there is nothing we can do unfortunately.    F1 turned into a domination sport years ago and since then we have been accustomed to seeing this all the time. Before Verstappen it was Hamilton you know.

Maybe 2026 season can bring us some more competition for the championship. There will be big changes for the cars. 

Aston Villa weren't this competitive until Emery came. Now with the help of his good management they are really making difference. However just as you said how long can they keep up the good work anyway?

As we have seen recently their form has declined significantly. It isn't easy to win the PL title while not having one of the best squads in the league to tell the truth. Leicester did it once in the 2015/2016 season with a very average level of squad. But how often have we seen this kind of examples? Very rarely.

Yeah Mourinho's sacking early would probably cost quite much for Roma. He was already making 10 million pounds a year so Roma would need to pay the costs left on his contract.

Daniele De Rossi is said to have accepted the minimum salary for Roma according to I've heard. But it must be due to his getting only a 6-month contract for now. Otherwise he would also earn much more than the minimum amount but I don't think it would be near the amount Mourinho earned. 

It says "the minimum amount" everywhere but I couldn't find what it is equal to in numbers though.
