Can you imagine a team losing two simple competition in the same month to grab Champions League title from teams like Manchester City or the others!
Barcelona lost Supercopa de Espana earlier this month against Real Madrid by three goals difference then lost against Athletic Bilbao by two goals difference in Copa del Rey. They are way away from their normal performance and barely keeping up good results in La Liga. They are lucky to face a fluctuating team like Napoli in the next round, otherwise you can imagine them being kicked along with Xavi, but it would be really sad if Napoli is the one kicking them from UEFA Champions League!

It was the worst period experienced by Barcelona and they were one of the teams that conceded the most goals in all competitions. The results were very disappointing and fans did not expect their favorite team to be this weak this season. Other bad results are still unknown in the champions league and if you look at their previous performance it is possible that the results will be the same.

Playing against Napoli is not what they really want and even though Napoli is almost as volatile as Barcelona, there is a possibility that Barcelona will be eliminated in the round of 16. If that happens then Xavi has failed as Barcelona coach this season and imagine that in all competitions the results will not be optimal at all. It is possible that Laporta will make an emergency decision if Barcelona are eliminated in the Champions League and that will be the end of Xavi Hernandez's journey.

We can put psg ahead in going to the next round but I won't say that psg will go to the next round for sure. I have seen many matches where one team has a very high chance of winning and that team has a very high chance of going to the next round but due to a small mistake they cannot go to the next round. PSG is currently one of the most consistent performers in the France league, so PSG are more likely to advance to the next round if they don't make any mistakes.

I agree. There is nothing to be shocked about. Barcelona are having a much worse season than the previous one. They are weaker especially in defense as they have conceded more than enough goals so far. They are going to face Napoli which have really effective attackers. Especially Osimhen is a huge threat you know.

I expect to see many goals in this matchup first of all. If Napoli manage to get a decent win home first then I think they won't let Barcelona turn things around. Maybe Napoli are also not the same as their previous season version. But I believe they are good enough to get past Barcelona.

It is the truth when it comes to experience difference between PSG and Real Sociedad. While PSG have joined the Champions League 17 times in their history it is only 5 for Real Sociedad.  

PSG had more experience but that will not become a reliable data to said that if PSG would be winning easily against sociedad. I think that it's too early to underestimate sociedad caused by im sure if it will able to give a tough game for PSG.
I do know that if the gap between PSG and sociedad was so big but it doesn't mean sociedad was bad. The club can perform even better after it has been motivated to beat PSG which will be boosting the mentality from the players.

It was like 10 years ago when Real Sociedad were a part of the competition before. It is up to how effective PSG will be that's all. In 21 La Liga matches, Sociedad team won 9 matches and drew 8 matches. We haven't seen a very good performance from Sociedad. And Sociedad are unlikely to qualify for the Champions League.

With their star strength, PSG's reputation as a top-tier squad is unarguably solid. Their unbeatability isn't proven. They've made mistakes with Neymar, Messi, and Mbappe. all this is just because of the financial crisis which has caused Barcelona to look a little bad and not be favorites in the UCL and most would say the same thing about Barcelona who are currently short of players whereas if management has plans to fire Xavi from his post it will also make Barcelona condition worse.
let's see how Xavi is currently doing a great job in bringing Barcelona to a higher level, even though he is not consistent, but in fact Barcelona can still qualify for the round of 16.

When it come to the Champions League football, I don't consider PSG as a big team with big name anymore because of several disappointments they have caused in the past. They will be winning first leg with hope of finishing the stage up with some outstanding performance in the second leg, but they usually gave a bad performance which usually led to their elimination in the tournament almost all seasons. This season, their players are not too good compared to some previous seasons back, they only have Mbappe as a star player, that is why I don't expect them to have an easy game against Real Sociedad that has an outstanding performance in their group stage matches.

It is very difficult for PSG to win the Champions League  title this season. Manchester City, Munich  and Real Madrid are much stronger and  organized teams than PSG. PSG cannot even be considered favorites for this season's Champions  League. But it is possible to win the Champions League title even if not the favourite. Chelsea did it a few years ago.

I would not say that Real Sociedad team is very weak. This  team has not lost a single match in  the Champions League group  stage. Out of 6 matches they have won 3 matches and drawn 3 matches. Real Sociedad qualified for the  round of 16 as group champions despite  being in the group  with strong teams like Inter Milan. And so even if PSG team is considered as favorite in this  match, PSG must win by performing well. PSG  will not be able to qualify  for the quarter-finals if they do not perform  well. But the way PSG have performed  in the last few matches, I am  quite optimistic that they will be able to do well against Real Sociedad as well.
