341  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Every cryptocurrency price is going down.... on: March 16, 2018, 03:39:53 PM
I saw in cryptocurrency market every coin value going down, let's talk something now about future cryptocurrency.

In my opinion, the fact that the market is down in the last few days is not much surprising, we just have to wait for it to go rising. There is nothing disturbing about this, I think. So be patient.  Smiley
342  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Market corrections are good on: March 15, 2018, 05:13:24 PM
The current market corrections are making a better investor, well weeding out the panicky investors that do not do their research. The hype balloon has been pretty deflated lately, making it easier to find legitimate projects to come to the surface. To top it off i don't have to read "when moon! when lambo!" every time i open discord or telegram. I think those are huge benefits.

Good investor takes advantage of fear and greed. They buy when there is fear, in other words, when the market crashes. When the market is up - then they sell. They move almost exactly the opposite of most people's actions on the market.  Smiley
343  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NEO Vs Ripple on: March 15, 2018, 05:09:33 PM
Hi All,

I need your help and opinions.. I have $150 and might even go up to $250.. Should I invest in NEO or Ripple? Which would give the best Return

In my opinion, NEO has very great potential, but with such an amount to invest at that time in the market, I would personally choose to invest in  Ripple. It is not decentralized, but I think that this year it can reach over $ 3.  Smiley
344  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good coin in future on: March 15, 2018, 05:04:05 PM
Ethereum, as a consensus network, is probably strong enough to withstand legal action, I suppose it would be a good test though

And I almost agree with your opinion. Ethereum is the basis of almost all other coins, and I think there is a great future, but maybe another coin will come in ahead of everyone else in the future.  Huh
345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: In South Korea, the largest crypto-currency investors are 20 years old on: March 15, 2018, 04:54:20 PM
According to the South Korean news agency Yonhap, the main crypto-currency investors in the country are approximately 20 years old. The result is not surprising and corroborates the idea that younger generations prefer to invest in this new industry at the expense of traditional stocks and bonds.

The Korea Financial Investor Protection Foundation interviewed 2,530 people between the ages of 25 and 64. Of the investors in crypto-coins, 22.7% are 20 years old; followed by buyers of 30 years, which correspond to 19.3%.

The ones that invest the least in this virtual modality are people in the 60s, with 10.5%, and 50 years corresponding to 8.2% of the total.

However, the buyers of 60 years were those who applied a larger amount of money, equivalent to $ 6,199 million. By comparison, young 20-year-old investors spent $ 2,724 million.

In the overall assessment, 70.2% of respondents purchased crypto-coins as an investment medium, while 34.1% used the asset to pay for goods and services.

In addition to South Korea, venture capital firm Blockchain Capital interviewed more than 2,000 US residents aged 18-34 in November 2017.

The result showed that 30 percent "prefers to invest a thousand dollars in Bitcoin than the same thousand dollars in stocks or government bonds," but only 2 percent of them had already dived into the sea of crypto-coins.

The director general of Blockchain Capital, Spence Bogart, said that "the research results reinforce our belief in the massive opportunity ahead of Bitcoin."

Another survey conducted in December 2017 by the London Block - an exchange of cryoptomes based in England - showed that of the 2,000 Britons approached, 5% of them, under the age of 45, declared themselves to be crypto-currency investors.

The survey also points out that 11% want to invest in crypto-coins this year. 2018 will also be the time when 1/3 of the millennia will invest in crypto-coins.

This is completely normal and good. Because the youngsters must be looking at the future and changing things. They understand and see the benefits of the crypto currencies better than others.  Grin
346  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Google ban crypto ads. on: March 15, 2018, 04:45:42 PM
How the impact of this issue.

https://cointelegraph.com/news/google-to-ban-all-crypto-related-ads-starting-june-2018

whether this drama will affect the price of Bitcoin. Huh

I'm not sure exactly how this news will affect, but I think it will not be good.
Negative news and actions continue. Maybe it will also affect the market.  Undecided Huh
347  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think it is best to invest in BITCOIN now? on: March 15, 2018, 04:38:11 PM
What I have read from CNBC, Bitcoin exchange is up by  $11,433.3896 +403.40 (+3.66%)  | 6:35:11 PM EST   |

Some of the analysts say that by June, it can hit $20,000 and by the end of the year will be $30,000. Do think this will actually happen? Because based on what I am seeing from the Bitcoin Exchange, it is really going up already. Do you think it is the best time to buy Bitcoin now for investment?

The best thing when everyone sells because of the long-term decline is to buy at a cheap price. Then when everyone wants to buy because prices are rising, you sell them what you have at a high price. That is my opinion.  Smiley
348  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN bounce back to $20k in 2018? on: March 15, 2018, 04:32:25 PM
During the latter part of 2017,I advised a friend to invest inBTC.He adhered to it and bought some good amount..He then proceeded to buy more when it hit the range 18k-20k..He is now upset due to how market is reacting...Anybody here to give an expect advice?

Here is a good news that can give courage to your friend: аccording to a survey conducted by the popular Finder website and published by the South China Morning Post, a number of people in the block industry expect the price of the first two crypto currencies, Bitcoin and Ethereum, to increase more than three times by the end of the year.  Smiley Smiley
349  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Working for Bitcoin on: March 15, 2018, 04:27:31 PM
What is your experience in working for Bitcoin? Are you a freelancer earning BTC or do you work in a company that supports paying out wages in BTC?

what are the best places to earn Bitcoin as a professional? I'm interested because I would like to know if people at different places start work for Bitcoin more or more or still mainly choose fiat currencies? how is the situation in your country?

i'm interested in all perspectives
thanks

I personally work for a bitcoin as an additional source of funds. In the rest of my time I have regular work to go to. But depending on how things are going, I think BTC will turn into my profession.  Smiley
350  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to know project scam or not? on: March 13, 2018, 04:45:12 PM
Hello, i am newbie and want to know how i could check projects if they are good or bad, is there ways to know about that?

I do not think you can understand such a thing in advance, you can only rely on researches and experience to see if this project has the potential or not. Then you just have to wait and see what happens.  Huh
351  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 52 Million BTC shorts since the open of the US marked today on: March 13, 2018, 04:20:08 PM
Crazy already:
52 Million dollars opened in BTC shorts since the open of the US market today.

The US market is so big and with so many opportunities that I think $ 52 million is a small part of the market as a whole and whatever happens will not be fatal   Grin  Grin
352  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will destroy the bitcoin? on: March 13, 2018, 04:16:00 PM
Bitcoin appeared in 2009, eight years, the total value of the circulation of bitcoins up and down 200 billion US dollars. Bitcoin was declared "dead" by the media countless times. However, it is undeniable that the media has a huge influence. Therefore, with each media claim that "bitcoin is dead", the price of bitcoin will drop sharply. The magic is that every time Bitcoin is alive, its price has hit a new high all the way. In other words, in the face of so-called drug poisoning amateur media reports, bitcoin gradually developed "resistance", negative media coverage for the impact of bitcoin prices getting smaller and smaller. What will eventually destroy bitcoin? If there is a force that can destroy bitcoin, it must be human greed.

I think the BTC will not be destroyed as a means of investment. It will remain desirable because of the great profitability. But I think it has been destroyed as a means of payment for a number of reasons, such as high fees and slow transactions, and so on.   Huh
353  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tax on Bitcoin on: March 09, 2018, 04:27:28 PM
Crypto regulation in may countries are awaited. I believe that crypto regulation should be global (one world one rule). However many countries has regulated crypto due to the huge pressure of investors and traders. Being an honest trader/investor we all are ready to pay tax but that should be legitimate.

And I personally have the same opinion, I do not mind paying taxes, as I pay for everything else, but the point is the government to accept the crypto currencies.  Huh
354  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC news on: March 08, 2018, 09:23:40 PM
Where do you get your news about BTC? I am looking for a relevant and credible source of news, e.g. like cointelegraph.com (which I favor), but would like to have other opinions.

I personally look to get my information from a number of different sources, compare and research before accepting something to be a hard truth. Especially in the world of the crypto market.  Smiley
355  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: In what coin to invest 70$? I just have no more money( on: March 08, 2018, 09:15:48 PM
In what coin to invest 70$?

I personally would have preferred to invest in Stellar if this is an investment amount.
Maybe as a second option I would choose Tether or VeChain.  Smiley
356  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who Agrees with Me? on: March 08, 2018, 09:11:10 PM
So I started noticing a pattern.
Everytime the market goes to the moon, the down trend lasts for a several weeks. Meaning, only when Bitcoin it's going to be at it's highest, the altcoins are going to be at the lowest point.
Then, the money from Bitcoin will start going to the Altcoins, making them going up even more.

Have you noticed the same thing?

If I have to be honest, you are right. What you described corresponds almost to what is happening with the markets constantly. But in general, there is a lot of logic in it.  Smiley
357  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance HACK on: March 08, 2018, 09:06:32 PM
Users of Binance, the top cryptocurrency exchange in the world by trade volume, are
reporting suspicious activity in their accounts stemming from an apparent hack on Reddit, March 7.

Apparently it's just a rumor, you think

"All funds are safe. There were irregularities in trading activity, automatic alarms triggered. Some accounts may have been compromised by phishing from before. We are still investigating. All funds are safe."
Most likely, this problem affects everyone who uses bots for trading on the stock exchange and who have been the victim of stolen API keys.
358  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is 2018 the year of stablecoins? on: March 08, 2018, 09:00:17 PM
«Allocating to cryptos may be risky but the risk return has been hugely positive in the last few years. However, the lack of price stability still prevents the wide adoption of cryptocurrencies from several sectors such as institutional money. There are also a set of cases where a stablecoin is required even for a very short period» (read it here: https://medium.com/@globcoin_io/bringing-stablecoins-to-the-next-level-357879430b0f)

What's your opinion on stablecoins?

I personally do not think the market has stabilized. Yes, there are not such big drops and jumps, but market levels are changing every minute and there are 10-15% per day differences. This, I think, is not such a stable market.  Smiley
359  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hodl or do I realize the loss? on: March 08, 2018, 08:55:47 PM
Hello to all,

I invested in Crypterium ICO a lot of money, from business plan I was going to keep CRPT Token until Q3 2018. We are still in Q1 is true, but mathematically, according to my calculations, CRPT token can not reach the result I was hoping for. I made about 90% loss from the amount invested. What do I do? Do I continue to Hodl or do I realize this huge loss? To get back on track I need at least 2/3 full points and I do not think the token can do it.

Did you invest in CRPT? Do you think you can do it?

I personally am not familiar with the project you are talking about, so I can not give you advice.
But maybe I would hold the coins at least until they are of equal value to what I have invested.
There is no point in selling them at a loss. Either way, you have already given the money.  Smiley
360  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Strategy to invest in crypto ? on: March 08, 2018, 08:51:04 PM
This is the Strategy I was following in crypto. This is the example.

buy coin 300A @1.00 = 300

Sell 150 @2.00 (Now you covered your initial investment(Excluding fee))
Sell 50 @3.00 = 150
Sell 50 @4.00 = 200
Keep remaining 50 for long term( If market is crashing you have to sell this proton immediately).

But this method can't apply if the market crash before it reaching to 2x. I would like to know the approaches/Strategies you are following and drawbacks of this method.

Your strategy looks good, but it all depends on the coin you have chosen. I personally do not have such a definite strategy, but I act according to the market and the investment I have.  Smiley
