sure that their allocation for that type of marketing will not affect the entire price of their coins/tokens once it will reach the exchange.

Most of the budget for bounties and airdrops are ranging from 2-4% only of the total supply, even all the bounty hunters will sell their share do you think it can affect the price that much?
The answer is no, those project who fail to maintain their price upon reaching the exchange are usually a shit projects. Either the team will dump their share or their big investors will dump their investment.

It's a gamble though because if you will gain a profit in doing it then it is worth but if doesn't help you at all to gain a profit then you are only wasting your time.

It is about earning or losing, if you earn more to what you spend in your advertisement as you said that you were able to get 5 referrals then
your decision is good but if not then you better stop it to lessen or stop your losses.

Yeah there are many projects like these, don't ever leave a campaign where the team are still active even if they were not able to list their coins/tokens in any exchange base on their road map
because there is a big chance that they are devising a new strategy on how to market their project correctly even if it will take years for them to complete.
