Catcoin is still the 22nd most valuable coin even at today's low according to coinmarketcaps charts.
How does one account that as dead.
The marketcap and value are just going to climb, as more and more places are adopting cryptocurrencies, and with the fact that Catcoin has been adopted faster than most.
a savy investor would do a little research on other prominent altcoins, as well as Bitcoin itself and clearly see that this coin, if following formula will quickly become one of the most valuable to have.
Don't take my word for it, do the research yourself. google is your friend...

looks like i'm going to be virtually solo mining for the next week or so...
yeah ... wonder what the guys who bought in at 0.001+ are thinking right now ? hell if it was me I would be pushing MH at cat like crazy. or was it h2o (middlecoin) that rose the price artificially so that he can dump what they mine in the low diff times. don't worry cat will rise again, the difficulty fix is coming soon. remember .001 is still a bargain price. within 3 months you won't be able to touch this coin for less than five times that, so keep holding be patient and wait it out. some of us are here for the good of the coin and the cat will not only survive, but flourish... |

i have the new wallet but i am stuck at synching. 21167 of 21208.... is my wallet okay? or is it waiting for a block to be found to synch up?> it does have 8 connections

I'm not speaking about the fact that there's no hashpower.
Diff retarget is still once every 36 blocks, the 2nd fork didn't happen yet.
We should have get a diff retarget at block 21204, leading to a big diff decrease. But diff stayed exactly the same !
How is that possible ?

Yep Catcoin is broken, block target is 10 minute... Current Block time is almost 2 hours...
Strong work devs.. there "was" increasing interest in the coin.
the new devs are fixing this problem left by the old dev... |

guess this was the purpose of the whole exercise... to buy up loose CATs while making it very profitable at average difficulty and now fixing the difficulty adjustment... if that plan works out and promotion picks up then deserves a CAT monument! Well they can do it again, as diff just went to 63. I don't think there is much to worry about. The CAT is out of the bag. It has entered the public consciousness and is linked to DOGE by virtue of the Daily Beast article. It might be a good idea to postpone any fork until the price and volume stabilizes. Investors are jumpy creatures. the fork is necessary for stability the hashrate is going to drop off and then will spike and then we'll be in a 51% worry then it will die off then we'll worry about a 51%...  it will be the yo-yo cycle of hash rape until it's corrected... |
