Hello, I'm a new trader. I started a month ago. I deposited $100, and now I've lost $40. Any advice for me? I watched some YouTube videos and found a technical analysis video which helped a lot. I started not losing as much. Sometimes I even earn. But even though, I feel so lost. Like every day, I see some random coins get boosted. Some people earn from how they know that coin will go up. I'm sorry for my bad English; it's not my first language.
Definitely you are a spot trader which is not as risky as future trading. If it is future trading, you will have lost all the $100 as using leverage will tempt you. Just continue to learn about trading and use the amount of money that you can afford to lose to trade. The more you trade the higher the experience that you will have. You can be taught about trading but you can not be taught how to make money from it you will need to get that yourself. Be patient and do not trade with higher amount of money. You literally just started a month ago. Most people don't earn from their trading for years. Trading is really not something you can expect to earn money early on.
Some people will trade and lose and continue to lose until they stop trading. Trading is very risky even than some people think. Like every day, I see some random coins get boosted. Some people earn from how they know that coin will go up.
You trading doesn't mean you can't have a long-term portfolio. You can do both trading and investing(as most successful people in this space do). If I should tell you the truth, I have been trading for over 3 years, holding is far better than trading. |

It is not good to gamble for money making because the end result will be very bad which is addiction and money loss. I have experienced it before and I know how it is.
What the problem is that if you can not gamble with small amount of money, do not gamble but some people especially the newbie gamblers will think that they are different and looking for different means to make money from gambling but which they will fail but lose to the gambling sites.

It would be good to make good post than to make blatant nonsense. How can everyone be wrong about bitcoin? Even if you want to say everyone is wrong, you have to mention the type of people. Like on this forum we all know much about bitcoin. In fact, this forum was created for who are interested in bitcoin. It is better not to post at all than to post what is not necessary.

In my opinion, all those gambling streamers should be exterminated like the plague. Most of them earn money by endorsing gambling platforms and streaming games with fake money, drawing in younger susceptible viewers vulnerable to addiction. This is exactly why Twitch banned gambling livestreams.
Streamers should not be seen as real gamblers. It is true that they are endorsed by the gambling site and they pay them huge amount of money. It is not something that is hidden. People should not be gambling with huge amount of money, they should know that gambling is very risky. People only think of the good side of gambling and not thinking of the negative consequences. I do not have the streamers to blame if I can not blame the reason that gambling sites are existing but the gamblers themselves are to be blamed of greedy nature. When I was addicted, not steamers that got me addicted but I was just addicted myself. Sorry to the boy's family, they will be in pain by now. |

So I ask, did the friend do well in returning $10 to his friend or the returned $10 was not enough?
He do not want to lose then why did he gamble? Or let me say he do not want to lose 30% of the $190, then why did he gamble with the 30%. 30% of $190 is $57. He could have just gambled with $133 or lesser than that. If he won his friend, what tendency that he will even give the $10 back? No tendency. I will prefer not to gamble with a friend but if I did, I will not give him even 1 cent back. |

Recently I've been reading about the tension and division that football can put amongst people making it look as tho they are part of a different community or even county, like when two famous clubs are playing, and members of the same family or friends would be against each other forgetting other bonds they once had and going all out to support their club or née family they belong to.
The point is why does football create such a tension and division that can even result to fight and dispute sometimes.
With what I noticed, I can see friends and families arguing about football even if they are in the same club or different clubs but I can not seen how it led to division among friends and family. They know it is just ball but it is part of humans to argue but not in a way that will lead to fighting. Even if it led to fighting, it is as a result of the approach used and which can happen not just because of football but because of behavior and manner of approach. But we should know that family is family and blood is thicker than water while also friends are friends and such fight will still be forgotten. |

You friend was just lucky. But what I can deduce from this is that he is an amateur gambler and if he continues in this part he is going to lose a lot of money in the long run.
He did not tell us if he is a core glmaber but he said he staked on his club because they argue who is going to be a winner. Also know that the 5000 may not be $5000 but in local currency that may not have high price like the United States dollar. He can just use the amount of money that he can afford to lose to gamble and which will make him not to be an amateur gambler. Any match can be won. The professional gamblers will go for the best team to win and yet even lose in some matches. |

How about Binance? Copy trading on Binance was just added last October 2023 I've not tried this yet than spot trading and leverage trading.
Copy trading has been on Binance before last year but it was first provided by a third part called TradingWagon or so. It is true that Binance own copy trading started last year but people have be doing copy trading with third party on Binance before then. Hello, I’m in US.
Derivative trading is not available in US. But maybe some exchanges have spot copy trading now. Also that US has its own exchanges. Exchanges copy trading that is common are for derivatives which is not on US exchanges. |

We are in a bear market for now but everything will later become good. Bitcoin rose in price significantly and it price is still very high. I buy low and I am not ready to sell for now but I am expecting more bear market which will give more opportunities to buy more at lower price. 2024 and 2025 will be a very good year and we should expect the price of bitcoin to still increase.

Exchanges like Binance and Bybit has copy trading. It is better you learn how to trade.
Use the money that you can afford to lose to trade.

Trading is very risky.
Do not be greedy.

Some people do not know they can learn it and know it is the reason they look for someone to teach them. While doing that, some will be scammed. I learn trading myself and it is not hard. The hard thing about trading is to be using it to make money and that is what those tutors are not teaching. Also, anyone who tells you that you can become a profitable trader in just two months is a liar. Trading takes time to be acquainted with. It takes 3-4 years before a trader can be seen as a consistent and professional trader.
This is not wrong. Some people will think they can be a better trader but later realizing that it is easy to learn but difficult it is to make money. It takes years to become a good trader. |

Nobody wants to fail. But if someone fails, the person is advised that without failure, there may not be success and which is true. Some people fail to later become successful. People learn from failure. success is actually meaningless word without failure, because most of us loose some of their trades and at same time feel very disappointed because they only focused their mindset on making profits alone without anticipating any chances of loss or failure. losing a particular trade or several trades does not really make you a failure instead it gives you the opportunity to embrace every important lesson that you failed to achieve in your missteps or in your wrong turns.
Some people were successful in life without failing. But in trading, beginners traders are prone to losses. They learn but some will continue to lose as they continue to trade. Some will know better but still continue to fail. Trading is not for everyone. Lastly, please my fellow beginners let's not be discouraged by the number of losses or failures we experience while trading because failure begets success, also we should focus more on hodling coins even when we trade because we cannot predict the price fluctuations of coins in the future.
Yes but sometimes it is wise to quit. Someone that has been trading for 2 or 3 to 5 years and still losing, the person should stop trading. Holding can be better but it needs patience. |

The most reason traders are losing is because of greed. They will make profit but still keep the position opens but later the market might go another direction and they may lose. The second thing is that they can be using high leverage which will be resulting to liquidation. But a trader needs good strategies to make profit than loss while patience and low leverage are important. Also not to be trading shit coins is important.

It is an addiction. You are also losing which is another sign that it is an addiction. If you have stopped this habit, it will be good. If you do not stop, it may later has side effect on your health and which you will not like. I have this habit before but I have also stopped since few years ago. If you do not have time to gamble, do not gamble. If you want to gamble, gamble with little amount of money.

If I trade 10x vs. 15x will the 10x make more profit than the 15x if I TP @5% or should it be the same amount of profit either 10x or 15x if I set the TP @5% ? For some reason if seems like Im getting less profit per trade when I just upped my margin from 10x to 15x. And I should ask if it is less profit using 15x, why is that? Thanks
Let us say you have $100 You go 10x, that is $1000 that you used to trade You go 15x, that is $1500 that you used to trade. You will have more profit with 15x if the market go your direction. You will have more losses with 15x if the market does not go your direction. The liquidation of your fund is higher to occur if you use 15x. Although not that 10x is not risky because it is also very risky. Both are higher leverage and thus may always lead to liquidation. |
