342  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Are USD Withdrawals From Mt Gox to Dwolla Still Taking Weeks? on: June 28, 2012, 08:59:00 PM
My account is verified.  It took 9 days last time, up to day 7 now for latest one, so not quite weeks unless you add in the dwolla to bank delay. I think Gox is doing the best they can, it's just not good enough for me. There are faster and cheaper options now for anyone in the US.
343  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Our Bitcoin Report from PorcFest 2012 on: June 28, 2012, 08:29:07 PM
I have applied to setup a table at the Ron Paul festival at the Tampa RNC.  I'm waiting on pricing now.  Wanna come down and setup another Bernanke Bitcoin Exchange?

Hmmmm perhaps! PM me date and price info when you have it.

I'll donate what I can to make this happen.  Oh and great work at PorcFest.  It's good to see Bernanke useful for something.

Without accessing the risks too closely, you could stick 100 coins in BS&T and get enough interest to cover the upgrade by October, and then simply work out if BFL or Pirate has the better track record.

If only I could get an account....

Just curious, what services/exchanges offer Greeks Euro to BTC? Maybe there is an access issue also, and a market opportunity?

Oh look...business as usual for Gox.  Here's a surprised face for you  Shocked  Glad I moved everything out of there last week.
353  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BitFloor.com Rocks! on: June 23, 2012, 03:51:38 PM
I think the excitement of trading above Gox is a matter of perspective...I just deposited a lot money to buy BTC, which yesterday would have been below Gox  Undecided.

But my deposit took a whole 10 mins to get credited, and cost me $0 in fees...beat that Gox!
354  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BitFloor.com Rocks! on: June 22, 2012, 11:33:18 PM
Is there an amount limit on cash deposits?
355  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Selling my 30 spots in line for my bfl singles that I have ordered. on: June 22, 2012, 06:13:32 PM

357  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [Pre-Announce] OpenPay, use your bitcoins at any merchant that takes Visa! on: June 20, 2012, 05:23:04 PM
That would make sense considering it would be much easier to convince a merchant to switch over if you could just say "download X software and you can start getting 0-1% transaction fees on certain transactions".

It would be even better to not have to convince a merchant at all.  If it could function with existing merchant solutions and only be a change on the consumer side, I wouldn't need or want my bank accounts.
358  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [Pre-Announce] OpenPay, use your bitcoins at any merchant that takes Visa! on: June 20, 2012, 04:37:05 PM
Am I misunderstanding or is the end goal here to get bitcoins to the merchant - which several solutions already exist? I would think there is more demand/need for a solution to get dollars to the merchant from a consumers bitcoins using existing debit/credit card infastructure.
359  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] bitcoinX charts & dashboard - difficulty vs. price, forum top 10 on: June 18, 2012, 06:58:54 PM
would it be better if bitcoinx.com would lead directly to the bitcoin charts and dashboard page?

Yes for me.  That's the only page I look at.
360  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] bitcoinX charts & dashboard - difficulty vs. price, forum top 10 on: June 06, 2012, 03:01:26 PM
Something seems to be off with days/hours for next difficulty...it's been at 3 days for 3 days  Undecided
