341  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Theoretical reason for the bullish bitcoin now. on: July 11, 2019, 03:37:46 PM
I have my personal prediction that the price will hid a snag after reaching $13500, which eventually happen so I'm not surprised by the current retracement so far.

But I have to agree that there will be a lot of bumps along the way, I'm seeing that we won't reach any all-time-high at the end of the year, but it will be close so I think we can still go vertical in the next coming months and entering a bullish trend in 2020.
Looking at the market chart in the past few months you see that candles have continued to increase, this is almost the same as the chart in 2017, I can't be sure there will be ATH again or not, but anything can happen in the bitcoin market, even at the beginning of the year many people doubt about bitcoin market can recover this year, but all predictions are wrong, the price exceed $13k
342  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What 🛠are the advantages 🔝of playing poker💵 on: July 11, 2019, 02:28:41 AM
The best experience you get an în poker is by playing lots of tournaments and practice every move. Learn strategies, watch how players are playing, when they are calling, when they are folding and you will be able to discover different patters different players use. You will notice a lot of people, especially beginners tend to raise on a lot of hands where they have nothing or just a pair, meaning they are bluffing. Others tend to play very safe and only call when they have a strong hand. Poker is a game of strategy and experience and in order to achive that you need to play as much as possible
Because poker also relies on strategy, intelligence, and skills, of course there will be lessons from every game you do.
You will be more expert the more you play poker. if you ask what the benefits are of course financial profit and fun

Quote
Gambling is not a way to make money.
Has to be said thats on the box really, if you make more then expected then you are officially lucky that day.   Most people play hoping for the big win some day but you also got to limit the amount you day dream on this venture, it cant be more then spending money you had spare simple as that.    If you ran past that into money you needed then you should react same as burning your fingers, dont do it again  Undecided
It can actually make money but not consistently. Sometimes you have to spend more before you could earn less so gambling is not that reliable. We should know the purpose of having fun and thinking that money is just another reward for you to play. Don’t do it for a living, just have fun with it.
Agree, actually the chance to get a big profit is very open to gambling, but don't make it the main goal to be gambled, and pursuing gambling profits is a difficult thing, it's better to play with a purpose for fun, profits will be a bonus for you, so you don't will be depressed in playing gambling
344  Economy / Speculation / Re: Billionaire wants to buy 25% of the bitcoin supply on: July 11, 2019, 01:38:10 AM
What could you gain from having 25% of all bitcoins? I mean I think this is totally PR move and marketing purposes by the company to say "we are so big that we have customers who are filthy rich and wants to buy 25% of all bitcoins so come work with us" and so forth however they are missing the point that even if you are super rich, like Jeff Bezos type of rich but all liquid, you have 100 billion dollars all on your bank account, it would still not make any sense to get 25% of all bitcoins, how would you use it, what could it be used for? How could anyone gain any advantage for having that much bitcoin? You are literally ruining the market all by yourself which means you are not getting any richer and a bad investment, so the whole idea is moronic.

"What could you gain from having 25% of all bitcoins?"

Dumbest. Question. Ever. Asked.
25% percent means that person must buy 5000 btc, equivalent to $650,000,000 and where you can buy that much bitcoin ?
while bitcoin has been spread to millions of users and wallets, yeah that is a dumbest question and will never happen
345  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: July 10, 2019, 05:07:39 PM
It's either going to go really well for Lampard or absolutely disastrous

Teams understand themselves better and work together to achieve a common goal especially when everyone isn't depending on a particular individual to save the day. Chelsea will do well without hazard. Players come and go but the club stays forever.

You are totally to the point.
And additionally, right now no one believes at Chelsea. This would make the players to train harder and push themselves to reach max performance, in order to prove everyone wrong. I think that Chelsea is going to have an amazing performance this year, similar to the one with Di Matteo winning the Champions League.
when many people underestimate Chelsea under Di Matteo, Chelsea could win the Champions league. maybe next year when many people underestimate Lampard, Chelsea will be brilliant next season Smiley
Lampard knows the ins and outs of Chelsea, it's home for him, I'm sure Chelsea can be better by Lampard in the headcoach
346  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What importance is kyc In gambling section on: July 10, 2019, 04:52:13 PM
I don't think that's neccessary in gambling. There are already kyc free gambling websites out there and they are already operating for many years. If a kyc required gambling business would be built in the future I doubt it will become popular and will earn huge profit.
Yeah, there are so many good options for us not to fill-up the KYC and they don't need it because we are just playing for fun and we are playing on their site because we don't want to give our personal details. If KYC is being asked for a new gambling site then for sure they will not succeed and they will not last in the market, gamblers don't prefer to play on that kind of gambling.
Yeah, actually what is important for a house with your identity? they don't need anything that requires players to do KYC after all, many players gambled with crypto because of anonymous factors right? KYC will not be suitable to be applied in gambling sites, there is no importance at all
347  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is parlay an effective betting strategy? on: July 10, 2019, 04:48:15 PM
for now I am looking for good methods and strategies, which produce consistent profits.

The best method to employ in sports betting is to have discipline with your betting style and your goal should be for long term so you can use your consistency if you have or you can test if you are consistent or not if you are not yet confident with you betting style.

Flat betting is the suggestion of the professional gamblers, setting a minimum and maximum amount per bet should be done properly and with discipline you can do that.

Consistency means you win most of the time, and in order to be profitable in sports, what you have to do is just win over 50%.
I don't think there is a strategy for long-term profits, let alone consistent profit. consistent profit will not there on gambling, because luck also plays for all games, including sport betting too. the risk of parlay can be even greater, but the benefits will be much greater, right? I like parlay because of the amount of profit earned, I have ever won at odds @20 and it was very pleasing to me
348  Economy / Speculation / Re: Where will the price stop ? on: July 10, 2019, 01:57:04 PM
We can't tell for now, the market is so unpredictable and we can't base our decisions on mere speculations because even if the price is rising there could still be a possibility that it will go down we just don't know when. We just have to be smarter with our decisions to lessen our losses.
Yeah you right, prices are still moving up, there is no sign that prices will stop rising and correction. it seems like the price will go to $15k in the near future, after that we will look at market conditions, if it still remains positive, it could be that $19k could be repeated this year
349  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Savings Vs Investment? on: July 09, 2019, 12:22:30 PM
Both are actually profitable, .....

They are really not.

Investing is taking risk and it could be profitable if you are successful on it, on the hand, saving money is like keeping it safe and it does not really make you profitable, unless maybe if you deposit or invest it in the bank to earn some interest, but if you compare it against the inflation rate, it's hard to tell if it can really make profit, maybe saving to earn some interest would just hedge you from inflation rate but if hyper inflation is happening in your country, I doubt that.

saving at the bank does not mean without risk? The bank can also collapse if there is an economic crisis and you will find it hard to get your money back, besides inflation is something you should consider too. I think investment is also important, you need funds to move and grow so that you have financial backups in the future
350  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbetting odds, which do you prefer? on: July 09, 2019, 12:18:48 PM
Therefore I'd like to get some of your opinion based on your experience, which is odds listed below gives you a better chance of winning?

a) over 2.00 or b) less than 2.00

Odds of over 2.00 means that team or player is the underdog or have low chances of winning. If you're lucky you will win double from your betting amount but that doesn't happen always. I would still prefer less than 2.00, they already proved their capability to win reason many people bet on them.
But the chance of win will certainly be much smaller right? the greater the risk the greater the odds. if you are not prepared for defeat then it is better to use a strong team with small odds its more better, the important thing is the chance of win is more bigger, that's the principle of my gambling
351  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The "how to" of building a gambling site on: July 09, 2019, 11:44:38 AM
There are books on how to build altcoins but I don't see any in-depth guidance on how to build a gambling site.
It seems to be all trial and error.
If you know of any technique or site or forum I would appreciate hearing about it.

The building or creating of gambling sites are part of web development which means it is covered by programmers. You can't easily learn those, there are so many ways to create a web site and different techniques and you must take the whole course to understand it. You must consider all of the things that are related to web developing since it's a wide topic and there's a standard that should be followed. Building altcoins is quite easy than web developing because there is already a platform that is essential for creating altcoins.
basically nothing is easy if you don't know the knowledge, and it will feel easy if you have knowledge in it and have a strategy to make it. making a gambling sites not only about web development, but also many other things, so that the site is in demand, legal staff, marketing staff, big funds and others thing are also needed if you want to create a great gambling site
352  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the most unusual games you played in a crypto casino? on: July 09, 2019, 11:29:03 AM
Example: https://micerace.com it's betting, but very unusual idea  Cheesy
So you are talking with unusual gambling site ideas not totally talking about crypto casino because if we do talk about it then it

do mention common games like dice, roulette, card games etc.Im aware with micerace.com which is really unusual king of betting online

because most of unusual thing i do know is on offline ones like cockfighting and similar ones.So far i havent seen anything yet in level with micerace idea.
Indeed, in casinos you will find mainstream games, such as poker, dice, baccarat, and so on. there are no strange games, unless you gamble outside the casino, which means, gambling games in the village area, such as cock fighting, sheep fighting, in my place there are still lots of gambling like that, like pitting animals.
353  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How mutiply the BTC with your own gains?? on: July 09, 2019, 11:25:12 AM
I have a friend that has that kind of strategy, he's leaving the total capital in fiat and takes profit if he has. But I don't think that he has plans of rebuying.

Remember that little or big profit, it's still profit.
I think the most important thing is to be smart in analysis and know when prices will stop rising and falling, because that's the time to sell, you have to know when prices stop falling and when recover prices occur because that's the right time to buy. that's the key to multiply your money `in bitcoin
354  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it safe to buy using Bitcoin on: July 09, 2019, 11:22:31 AM
Hello:
I am new to cryptos and I must say that my first experience has been a bad one, I recently visited antminerusa.com and purchased some hardware, that was about 10 days ago, I paid using BTC, now the site is no longer available, its been down for 3 days maybe a bit more, this lead me to think this website is a scam.  Now what should I do to recover my BTC, if the purchase where made using a credit card, I would report it to my bank and they could void or cancel payment, but with BTC what should I do?, if there is nothing that I can do, then it is obvious that using cryptos is a scammers paradise because there is no protection to buyer (that I know), unless there is a way to introduce the complain in the chain in order to reverse payment.
This is the transaction id 30dc4f431ac3db1949b330ab8cd31d1bb019d4831e24cd7cd7f4215fca73073b if anyone could share some light I would appreciete it.
Its not the payment that is guilty, if you buy goods online with fiat and then you are cheated, it doesn't mean fiat is guilty. same as bitcoin. You have to find a trusted seller, look for online stores that already have a lot of positive feedback, or famous online stores, that's the core of the problem.
355  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling vs. "leveraged" trading on: July 09, 2019, 11:06:11 AM
Recently I tried leveraged trading for the first time at Bitmex, and ended up in a loss. It seemed similar to a gamble, where you deposit, place a bet and either win (and double) or lose everything. In leveraged trading, if you deposit & place an order and it reaches your liquidation level, you lose everything.

Gambling can't be compared to regular trading, as in regular trading, you don't win much and don't lose much either. However, if you're trading with leverage, then that trading can be considered something similar to a gamble.
Almost similar to binary if you put your money to bet on go up or down in a short time of course the chance to win is only determined by luck. But in regular trading you don't feel loss for the all of your capital, in contrast to gambling, if you lose then you will lose all your capital
356  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: SUMO WRESTLING is it entertaining? on: July 07, 2019, 04:40:05 PM
I only watched sumo wrestling on movies, but never seen on my TV and in any other YouTube channel I subscribed. So this shows that sumo wrestling is not much popular in my location but this is a good game to watch based on my experience on that movie so I will bet on that on that game is that is available too.

Because sumo wrestling is not too popular in other countries and it's only popular in Japan only. Perhaps, only Japanese people who place bets in sumo wrestling but if we know where the site which has these sports, we could try to place bets too. I think any sports game can give entertainment to people as long as they can enjoy sports and they know about this sport. No matter if we watch on the television, youtube channel or watching directly in the sumo tournament, we can try to get fun like the other people.

I guess if they will add it in the sports book, it would still benefit the sports book and they also help to introduce this kind of game.
They don't loss anything because as long as there are people who are betting on it, they make commissions on it, and Japan is a crypto friendly country.
but it's pretty fun, like a boxing game you will see each player drop each other and that is a entertaining show. yeah unfortunately the match about sumo is not so popular and then there aren't many TV shows about sumo, even I don't know any sumo players lol
357  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your most weird betting experience? on: July 07, 2019, 04:33:38 PM
My most weird betting expirience is when my 1st game on betting games, I don't know how to play it at first so, that I bet small amout then I win & win then I enjoyed winning, so I dicided to bet all of my amount balance then I lose it all. Lol
it is indeed a strange thing, when you try to gamble with a small amount you win, but when you gamble with a large amount you lose lol. maybe it's an algorithm from the house itself. so I work around this by larger amount when you get lose, like martingel, and stop when you got profit
358  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Timeline for the altcoins to have bull run. on: July 07, 2019, 04:19:25 PM
There's no specific timeline for altcoins commence bull, it could be now? Tommorow? next week or next year. That is always depending on the frequency of the buy and sell orders, and could trigger more demands once the community is always active.
nothing guarantees when a bull run will occur, because we don't know what news will come in the future. but when in the near term, of course we can see the signals when there will be a bull run. like marketcaps that start to grow much, that's when it's time for you to buy lots of altcoins
359  Economy / Economics / Re: Can not believe 5 years ago you could of bought one whole bitcoin for this much! on: July 07, 2019, 04:10:18 PM
However, finance doesn't work like that, you can't look at what you have missed all the time because looking at the last 10 years, if you had gold you would have profit, if you had stocks many of them would profit you, if you traded on forex many would have profited you, there are so many things that would have profited you like crazy and you just can't get stuck on them, maybe not as much as bitcoin but they would have all made your life better.

You need to keep focusing on the future, you have seen what you could have done in the last 10 years, don't make it ruin your next 10 years.

100% agreed.  If we keep regreting or reminiscing times and keep thinking "if only .. b", we won't be living in peace.  Those things that we missed will only give us despair.
Agree, I think we live not to regret but to learn what we have got. we won't be able to go back to the past or expect prices to return to the $100 thats impossible thing, what we know is that prices will continue to rise and we have to take advantage of it so we don't get disappointed again
360  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Another Scamming Trick. on: July 07, 2019, 04:00:32 PM
The manager campaign should not allow all users to edit the spreadsheet because it will be very vulnerable to scam,
I have seen it several times, and fortunately I realized when it happened so I immediately told the manager campaign about that
