341  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be Careful to Write on: December 22, 2019, 06:54:23 PM
That is very very scary at how easy it is to make a mistake and juts how much damage such a mistake can cont you. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. It will help other users.
I am recently learning about websites and CEO and it is really disgusting that these scammer use CEO to make and redirect mistakes to lead to their website. I was learning how you can add common mistakes so if someone enters the common mistake it redirects them to the right site anyway. They are using this to redirect to their scam site. These are all methods of SEO designed to help you such as buying the old domain of a previously popular website. This is a great way to get traffic but the scammer will abuse this and collect traffic to scam.
342  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] Cypherpunk & Cryptoanarchy Club [Discord CPU mining focused] on: December 21, 2019, 07:03:31 PM
Thank you for putting this together. It is a very nice topic and I see bannno is there which I mine sometimes ^^ I am busy looking into the other projects you have listed. Theses are quality projects and you have saved me so much time to find them myself. Will try mining a few of these. What other benefit is there to join the Cypherpunk & Cryptoanarchy Club?
343  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Promoting cryptocurrency through altcoin on: December 21, 2019, 06:52:25 PM
The problem is that many of these altcoins have no use. They make promises there will be uses. you can buy this and that and support that or this and buy and sell gaming items. It never really gets to that. It very rarely ever gets passed the initial distribution stage. Until people stop supporting these projects this will continue to happen. If they supported better projects the bad ones would die out and then maybe we will find ourselves with some useable crypto other then speculation.
344  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lapps are better than Dapps on: December 21, 2019, 06:31:14 PM
Can you use Lapp for gaming as you can with Dapp? I love Dapp but the problem is some games are designed in such a way or even badly designed that too many in-game actions cost a transaction fee. It is crazy to spend a cent or more to complete one action in a game when you have hundreds to do over a week. That is what puts me off those games and from profiting from them. You did say they were not as complex so maybe you cannot even use them for games. The Dapps also works well for apps where you keep a collection of things and not just for gaming, but again the downfall is that everything costs a fee to do.
345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Initial Model Offering(IMO) replace Initial Exchange Offering(IEO)? on: December 21, 2019, 06:25:51 PM
A new kind of fundraising again? I think it will not succeed just as IEO had before. IEOs successfully launched because there are many people who hate ICO tried to invest with IEO projects. They thought that it will change the aspects of fundraising yet it is not. The existence of IMO right now will not be popular because there are still people who have interest for both ieo and ico.
No one in this market is interested in ICO except bounty hunters. The ICO is completely dead and no investors are interested in it, and the IEO is currently replacing the ICO to fund new projects. But in my opinion, IEO will die in the next few months and IMO will replace it

I don't understand why you think only bounty hunters are interested in ico? why do you have that impression? because as far as i know ico's are design to raise funds where everyone is expected to participate, so how does this only affect bounty hunters! any project whether ico, ieo or self funding can decide to run a bounty to promote their project because as you can see it is a way of marketing, bounty hunters are interested in any campaign that they can earn a reward from, be it ico, imo, ieo or even btc paying campaign like the one you currently in, so i don't understand what you mean  Roll Eyes

You said it. 100% ICO cannot be blamed. The method of raising funds is not what you should be judging a project on. There will always be investors in projects if the projects are good. I don't see why this user thinks the method of raising funds determines the outcome of the project. Bounty hunters are normally a bit dumb. IT is great to want to earn but you should be earning from a good project. The project should be so good that you don't dump because you believe it will increase in value.
346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: could it be most project don't succeed? on: December 20, 2019, 07:54:31 PM
You are right. Most scams are just fake volume. They nothing more than a website and some social media. They just want high numbers. If you see some bounties attract so many bot users or users that will never speak in the telegram chat, there are 10k+ people in such a short time. Sometimes the twitter accounts get blocked because the growth happens so quickly.
347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Price Peak = $ 1,432.99 USD (Jan 13 2018) on: December 20, 2019, 07:41:01 PM
I don't know why eth does not perform that well over the long term. The price is very low right now. Scary low. $1432 was insanely high I wish a traded for usd coin or some stable coin during that time.
Eth is needed for every other token to work so that is why I don't understand why it is not worth more. Other tokens and coins just work for themselves but eth is used for every single token. Eth is also a great currency for paying for things. So fast and easy to use.
348  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Questions for New Altcoins on: December 20, 2019, 07:02:19 PM
1. The simple answer is that they are brain dead. There is no other excuse to be such an idiot with your money. Greedy morons.

2. Devs that keep making altcoins are scammers. A real dev only needs one altcoin and will not give up on their project. Most devs are total losers and just give up.
349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers are smart as well. on: December 20, 2019, 06:42:45 PM
I don't think scammers need to even be that clever. They just need a small amount to invest and zero morals. You just buy a ready-made website and customize it without any need to even know html. You can find out how to make a smart contract for distribution or even use a service that does it for you. Then you need a small amount of advertising to attract bounty idiots. This all costs less then $100 and you have a fully working scam just waiting for idiots to invest. People who fall for this shit are morons and scammers just do the same thing over and over and people still fall for it. You still get bitcoin doublers.
350  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 10 Reasons Why Bitcoin Is Strong Today And Will Continue To Grow on: December 19, 2019, 07:43:15 PM
I totally agree with you OP. Bitcoin has paved the way when it comes to cryptocurrency to other altcoins so for me it deserves all the respect it has now from the investors. Though I hope that those who use Bitcoin for their evil deeds are punished enough for ruining all the positive things Bitcoin has done in the crypto world.
bitcoin has indeed provided quite a lot of good impact in the crypto world, altcoin has also grown mostly from bitcoin movements. and blockchain technology has also made many developments in the world of transactions

Not to talk about how much easier it has made making payments. No need for anything to be approved from the bank and no documents and wait till or signatures or any of that. Just totally anonymously creating a wallet from anywhere there is an internet connection. Then within minutes, you can be paid. Anyone on this earth can be paid in minutes using bitcoin no matter who they are and that is its beauty.
All the new earning methods are all online and in an online world, it helps people. Many people want to work from home and I believe the job opportunities crypto brings enables this much more than traditional jobs.
351  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NOTHING IS ABOVE BITCOIN on: December 19, 2019, 07:32:15 PM
This is why I like bitcoin. I don't like being held back and told what to do by "the man" I agree and bitcoin creates freedom for people looking for that sort of thing. Not wanting others to have control of your money and for you to have complete control over it. Many people have felt that way for a long time but it didn't help since they could not just put their money under their bed for safety reasons so they are forced to use a bank. With crypto there is no need for any of that and the power is with you. Crypto is empowering.
352  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: One solid reason that I came across for the need of BitCoins. <Be Your own Bank> on: December 19, 2019, 06:53:57 PM
Now we can say that, but for thousands of years banks or some institution that performed a similar function was needed and it is impossible to deny that, if banks were not needed then they will not exist, for the first time in history we have access to a currency that allows you to be your own bank but still bitcoin does not have all the functions that a bank has, and the most obvious example of this is lending, there is not really an easy way to lend your bitcoins to someone else.

I believe that banks still needed now, tomorrow and in the future, but what is the point here is we can safe keep our money anytime without having a bank, and also earning from it if you are holding it, and losing some, you can invest your own money without entering stock market at least here we can manage it anytime and anywhere.

What are you talking about? Crypto is sort of like stocks. You making good points for crypto but then you say banks are needed? This makes no sense to me. If society was based around the use of crypto like it is fiat then everything would work exactly like it would now how it is with fiat, it would just be crypto. Right now crypto is still new and experimental. It doesn't help having shitcoin and those who support it either. They damage the name of crypto. Like how the did with ICO projects.
353  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stop shielding Scam, fake, or unproductive altcoins project on: December 19, 2019, 06:13:44 PM
Many people are totally clueless or do not even care. They do not seem to even care that they are wasting their own time. If you think then you can find bounties that will pay. Many people join shit projects then complain they get no pay. The stakes do not get counted and the attitude of the team us bad and still people stay. Why? Why do people think staying in a shit project will get them? Even if you get all the stakes of the entire bounty it means nothing if the token is worth nothing.

A bounty means nothing if the token has no value.
354  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Game projects on: December 18, 2019, 07:54:48 PM
This should be in the gambling section and this is very misleading. This is nota game project it is a gambling project. A game project is like DAPP. Proper games. When gaming places advertise as having games or being gaming related it's so annoying. Video games are games, not this.

SCAM https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5210382.0

This project has copied the white paper from another source and the response of the evidence has been archived.
You still promote this means you will mislead many people on this forum with your tricks.

Nice catch. Even if this project was legit it is still misleading calling is a gaming project.
355  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Opinions about quitting mining on: December 18, 2019, 07:36:46 PM
Depends on the rig you have and what its capable of mining and if its good quality alternatives it can mine, then you could continue to operate it and wait for alt-season to arrive which it will eventually, so no need to fret about low prices at this stage and you can always sell later when the market improves

I think if the OP can get their money back by selling now that they should. If they lose a fair amount then maybe they should keep it for altcoin season as you say. There still are some good coins out there and the ones that just come out you can mine few days then we there is more popularity and more miners sell. I have made some bitcoins that way. You make more than mining eth mining on the speculation of a coin in my experience doing it.
356  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The use of stable coins or no? on: December 18, 2019, 07:05:17 PM
I think it is good to prepare for what's to come during bear markets. Imagine if you sold some bitcoin when it was at $13k a little while ago? You sold it for stable coin and now you can slowly sell off your stable coin when you need to or reinvest it into bitcoin which increases the amount you hold. So I say yes to stable coins for sure.
357  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Looking for bounties on: December 18, 2019, 06:28:35 PM
In my opinion, if you have a lot of time, you can participate in about 10-15 projects, later on from many projects there may be a pay, maybe 2 or 3 projects will pay you well, if you lucky, but this is not a must you follow, just sharing it. Or you can participate in 2-3 projects that are roughly good according to your research. But according Emirex project survey is a good, you can analyze it first if you're not sure.

You can get paid well by more than just 2 or 3. If you think about something and be logical and clear you will know if something is worth your time. How muc his the coin value and how much do you expect it to drop in the worst case? How is the ratio of hunters/stakes? Is the project itself just lies or is it real? You should be able to be paid from between 10-12 if you do 15 projects. How much you get I cannot say but you can predict it if you look at the bounty campaigns stakes and other stats.
358  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Dogecoin Be a Good Investment in 2020 on: December 18, 2019, 06:20:59 PM
Dogecoin isn't useless and it can be used. It works because it is one of the major cryptos to pay with. I use it sometimes since the fee is only a few cents and it is fast. How is that not a useful coin?
These other coins have no use at all and cannot be spent and only traded on an exchange. I think dogecoin is a good investment. It has been all this time in my opinion. I have profited from it.
359  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would You Trust Libra Coin With Your Money? on: December 17, 2019, 07:56:58 PM
I can't even trust facebook with my conversations, so why would I? hahaha

Same. They want too much info about us and collect data about us to sell back to us as Google does. FB are worse though sinve they charge you for ads and without them you struggle. With google you can do fine without ads but using google ads just helps more.

Since the beginning of the rumors that Facebook will launch the Libra project, I felt something negative about this project, and now it is proven that Libra project has been abandoned by many big investors such as Mastercard and others because there have been many contradictions from top US officials and other influential people.

How can you possibly be in crypto thinking like that? Crypto is supposed to make us free from banks and centralized finance management. Transparency and regard to privacy is the key to success and that's why we tell to the banks 'Go to hell!"

They don't understand what they are saying. Talking about contradiction from US officials and other people? So they won't invest because some people say not to and the bank won't.
360  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gaming on the blockchain - What do you think? on: December 17, 2019, 07:52:19 PM
Majorty of games on the blockhain are very simple variant of typical falsh games from 2000s. I dont see any usecases

What's a falsh game? There are no games like the games from 2000s they are not that advanced. There are mostly basic RPG/collector games. If you can't see any use cases -_- your useless comment has not use either.
So you don't see the use case in having your counter strike go skins attached to token you can buy and sell or trade for other items out of other games?? Steam already allows you to do some of this. So are you telling me that steam is doing something that has no use?
