I would say strictly avoid the wapsites which says come and invest with me and I will pay you double after this week they will just run away with your funds..if you want to take a small percent oglf risk then trading is a good iption and don't go for the cloud minings..they are not much profitable

uco1 was a website about cloud mining and to withdraw money you had to invest in their site, and the minimum payout was hard to reach. And it become to scam since their website is not working !!!

i think that site is already scam. i have lost my investment at there Sad
i enough to try invest in cloud mining service better i save my money to buy miner hardware

Mining hardware is also going to result in a loss. Unless you can afford to fabricate your own hardware, you're not going to make even, much less profit. Buy Bitcoin itself instead.

now officially my martingale strategy failed..

busted at 600ish k roll...and gave some profit left...but im happy with the result..it cannot be run forever..

and it prove that martingale not for longterm..

You don't have to bust to prove martingale isn't a long-term strategy. All you have to do is look at the math, Wink. Math never lies.

Right
I lost 10000 satoshi there...

i have so far more lost than earned...
but generally it was little cash.

Protip: if you don't know what you're doing, don't invest. The mere fact that you invested there means you don't even know the basics. If you keep doing it, you'll lose a LOT more than that.
3504  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does martingale really works? on: August 30, 2015, 06:19:39 PM
i've seen it work to peoples advantage before, and it's also been their downfall, the martingale system does hold some weight to why most people use it
but in the long run gambling can't be predicted, unless you can count cards! there are very few people that choose to gamble for a monthly income, most of these people already have money to gamble, but there are some who don't have the money to eat or gamble but do it anyway! ill just SMH here for them now!
Counting cards isn't possible in gambling with bitcoins or in online casinos.
And most of us cant go to casinos because many are under age and many doesn't have a casino nearby.

Card counting also doesn't work in local casinos, as they use 8 decks and shuffle when 2.5 of them are used (meaning at any given point, you can only know 25% of the cards). I've gone as far as counting exact numbers (i.e., keeping up with exactly how many a,2,3,4... came out) and always came up with at MOST a difference of only a couple percent before they shuffle. Not nearly enough to rely on.
3505  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetcoinPoker.com Betcoin.ag-$5,000,000-17,540 BTC in 5 GTD Tourneys-Up 2 150% RB on: August 30, 2015, 06:17:13 PM
Betcoin.ag VIP Player's Club and Surprise Box

Can you share the random rotation of rewards from the very best box (Master)? I'm curious as to what this rewards, and others were asking for similar things for other boxes as well before.

I have no idea about the rewards for the top level , but I was watching one of our mates streaming in twitch and his VIP level is Silver II
I asked him about what he is getting from the daily surprise box , he told me that he is making about 8$ monthly in avg from the daily bonus which is great since the VIP is lifetime
but now I'm curious if there is actually a player with a master level , cause the highest level I saw was emerald

Aha, never seen a master level before, since their casino and sportsbook increase the rate of status points, we will see some guys be master level within 2 years. That's crazy cause we need 10 million points =  500000 btc wager on sportsbook, it seems an impossible mission, unless some guys take long time profits here, but I don't see there is reason do for that cause the odds sucks here, especially for tennis, lowest in btc industry, sad..

It'd be cool if they could just give a chart with each tier and its estimated rewards. For a lot of players that play on sites based on rewards (as they affect potential ROI with bets), not knowing what the actual rewards are doesn't help inspire confidence.
3506  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetterBets.io |Win XBOX/PS4| huge rake+VIP| DICE★PLINKO★HORSE RACING on: August 30, 2015, 06:15:09 PM
how much commission for the affiliate?

i see 5 btc only for 100k..so low...or do i missed something from the update?

thanks

Our program for affiliates is one of the highest, for example most sites are 10% of 1% of house edge. BetterBets is 15% of 1% of house edge, the confusion for players often comes from the fact that we (I say we because I used to think the same as a casino player) think it's a flat 15% commission which is not the way income works.

Certain high page ranking bloggers/jounalists can get higher % affiliates if they contact me and run articles for us. We currently have one PR1 site getting a much higher rate in exchange for exposure of our site. This goes for any media that would like to collaborate with us; I'm a very easy owner to work with so just email us at bjorn@betterbets.io and for your help we will adjust your affiliate %. Just be sure to use your afffiliate link from your BetterBets account before publishing your work (and let me know your link ID).

-Bjorn

Ahhh, I wasn't aware we could reach out and request a higher percentage. Do I need to send you an email as well? Smiley.
3507  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: ‼ BitRevenues | Win 0.015 BTC | Free Lottery ‼ on: August 30, 2015, 06:13:21 PM
Having trouble with advertising networks. Bee-ads did not response to my email. CoinURL rejected all the clicks BitRevenues generated. AdBit.co advertiser pause their campaign. We will be having a slow growth for the month of September. I might consider to use advertising network that do not play in Bitcoin. On the bright side, BitRevenues is earning an average of 8000 Satoshi everyday on A-ads. Smiley.

Yeah, if you can build up traffic through other means, you can get back on Mellow, which is by far the best ad network right now in crypto. Past that, I'm not aware of any fiat-based ones that would allow a faucet.
3508  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: August 30, 2015, 06:11:32 PM
YAY it's crashing and my long is still open. Thank god it's almost over.  Grin

if you are long, you want them to go up, right?

Nah I've already decided crypto is a shit investment. Maybe long term holding works for some but if you want a day trading experience it's expensive.

I'm not going to pull my money out though. I'd feel shame.
I will give it every chance it to redeem itself. But I'm just ready for it to end. I want it to either die hard or give me my money back ASAP. I will continue to try to "make money" fight the good fight. But really i'm tired of this game. It just looks like a ponzi scheme to me. But before I was playing computer games, at least now i've gotten a new hobby to kill time.

FYI I'm actually invested in Litecoin, I was making it not so bad back with bitcoin, and would have maybe broke even in fact, but I saw litecoin as a shortcut when it went up 4 dollars in a month.

Now Litecoin does exactly what Bitcoin does, & is not going up like it used to. That litecoin boom was and still IS a ponzi scheme. Litecoin is the shitcoin. Don't fuck with it.

But i'm a fighter so It's all or nothing for me. I'll gladly take nothing if only to move on with my life & stop wasting time circling my pathetic investment. lol.

The value to me is having learned quite a bit about economics.
Not everything, but allot more that I used to know. So i've gotten a good education, and I know the cryptocurrency thing is a dud, unless perhaps you're an experienced trader and know the market very well. There is quite a bit to learn and it's a 24/7 job.

Some Chinese turds have my money and they control the market. Chinese are the most devious people on earth. They are cunning. I live in China now, it's a "me first" greed fest from what I can tell, but then my Chinese isn't so good. Otherwise they are not such bad people. But they want money and authority with a passion, it's a nationalistic thing and unconscious passion just like everyone else.

Unless I can somehow reverse this death spiral, and which I will try, but highly doubt, I consider crypto a no-go, unless using it perhaps to transfer money in very tight periods of time.

BUT It's simply not a good investment from a layman's perspective, because it's expensive and complicated to buy, you have to go through 2 or 3 middlemen just to get it, then 2 or 3 middlemen to use it. It also depreciates allot more than it appreciates. If for example I asked my boss to pay me in bitcoin i'd be in bigger straits than with fiat.

It's just a stupid game / experiment to me. I'd never put in money I actually need to survive in this ridiculous ponzi scheme.

But I liked the idea of Bitcoin. But I kinda agree with Snowden. It's obviously flawed.

Death can be a relief. So either way i'm happy.

I await my margin call...  Grin

If you're day-trading, it's not Bitcoin itself you should be dealing with (unless you're arbing it). You deal with altcoins and build your Bitcoin holding over time by doing that. Much more lucrative, and you can take less risky maneuvers with it.

I don't get how this pays out. If it's treated like a coin... how are dividends paid?

Coinomat is a NXT asset, which is also traded at poloniex and cryptostocks. To receive dividend you can
buy shares through the decentralized NXT Asset Exchange.

COINOMAT NXT Asset details
http://nxtreporting.com/?as=7474435909229872610

If you buy through poloniex or cryptostocks, then dividend will credited to your trading account in NXT.

Please see that owners of cryptostocks don't provide any real contact address.

Dividend history at cryptostocks -

Interesting. Is there some way to see previous dividends, though? Not seeing that anywhere.

how much can you earn with it? is it just me or it does not sound safe at all, i would not invest to it so easily

Has paid roughly above 2 % of its market price every week.

Poloniex Exchange is registered LLC -

Poloniex, LLC 2015 - 121 Wisconsin Ave., STE 101, Whitefish, MT, USA

Coinomat Certificate of Incorporation

Anyways, sending your bitcoins to any address, whose private keys are not controlled by you, will always have some amount of risk.

I don't get how this pays out. If it's treated like a coin... how are dividends paid?

Interesting site. It gives something new and valuable to the cryptocurrency scene. I wish you good luck!

Thanks! It's a side project at the moment. My plan is to get most sites up on it, then expand the site from there (new theme, more data, etc. to help players pick the sites that match them best).
3514  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice game strategy? on: August 29, 2015, 08:46:48 PM
I think that the best strategy for dice games is to use a bot that would do auto betting for you. It might help, although I'm not so sure. Just my opinion  Roll Eyes
i think it might make the things even worse, you wouldnt control it if you leave it afk and you might loose a lot of money because of that

You can set parameters on when to stop (i.e., stop after x losses, after x BTC was lost, after you hit x BTC in your wallet, etc.) so it's not a big deal. Just keep in mind that the house always wins, bot or no bot.

So what's the news? Was everyone able to access the site and withdraw the funds, or has the OP quietly disappeared with outstanding balance?

No news so far and just checked the site..but it is inaccessible now, so I think it is gone now. Smiley

He has not been on since the 8th August so unless they had an email address which he has responded to looks like they are out of pocket a little, very surprising if they do not receive such a small amount of funds from him though as I really don't think he would let them down. Not looking good though is it.

Wonder if those that are missing their funds have emailed this: support@bitcoinpoker.gg

That may get an answer faster.

recently i remember my strategy to make 0.1 bitcoin into 1 bitcoin..but it need time..

so let me try it again and if it works i will share my strategy here...^^
I would like to see how to turn 0.1 btc to 1 btc!
Generally I love those infinite money printing machines!

Obviously sarcastic, I am impressed that so many bitcoiners believe they can beat the house edge.

That's because Bitcoin brings out the "I'm going to become a millionaire off nothing!" people that are highly uneducated and are hoping to find some get-rich scheme.

Go in any casino chat and look at the flood of people begging for money so they can gamble it away.
3518  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: what do you think about xapo.com on: August 29, 2015, 05:38:58 AM
One good thing about Xapo is the way they use addresses. It adds a layer of privacy you do not get with other wallets.

I'm not a big fan of online wallets but I often make use of my Xapo wallet to receive funds. When its send out to my Trezor from there there is no link to follow as Xapo use different addresses to send funds than the ones on which the funds came in.

Just check the next time you receive and send funds from Xapo. As said, this adds in an extra layer of privacy to the user as its near impossible to track your wallet balance.

Not sure if I followed this right. Are you saying it's a lot like how casinos work, where they just merge everything into larger wallets and past the original deposit, you have no idea what any specific account holds?
3519  Economy / Securities / Re: Anything sustainable worth of investing? on: August 29, 2015, 05:37:18 AM
I guess there's one other option - create an honest investment for us to engage in...

That's the route I went, but you're a tough bunch.

The money available via the bitcoin route for 'legitimate' products is amazingly low and really doesn't make sense for a company to do it.

With a quality startup going the havelock/ect route, you'd be lucky to fund over $50k, and that simply isn't enough to do much with. Meanwhile in countries like the UK you could go with a legitimate crowdfund route and have a pretty easy time getting $500k-$1mm without too many troubles and relatively low investment. Once second market type exchanges come available with JOBS 2012 compliance (And there's 3-4 working on it) bitcoin investment in the US will make even less sense. I'd ask you then, do you REALLY want to be in a country with even less legal oversight and investor recourse than the US or Europe?

I've met many awesome investors so far in the bitcoin world, and maybe it's just me but all of them seem burnt out. You've got bankruptcy after bankruptcy, failure after failure and so on of companies that took or lost SIGNIFICANT sums of money.

Freidcat?
AMC?
Bitfunder?
MtGox?
Neo & Bee?

Just between a few guys I know there were MILLIONS lost by way of these companies.

This happens because people keep blindly throwing their money at every business, regardless of what it is, in the hopes of becoming a millionaire. If people continue being stupid, we'll continue seeing businesses go bankrupt one after another (in the real world, these would never get off the ground because accredited investors aren't morons. In the crypto world, they take off and crash because the people that invest have no idea what they're doing).

In the past 2+ years following businesses in the crypto world, I've seen a total of one business that was a legitimate opportunity. The rest have been obviously run by people that don't know what's going on and hope that just by making a crypto business they're going to make millions.
