2561  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice game strategy? on: October 23, 2015, 08:10:06 PM

Sometimes i use some strategies such as martingale but it doesnt really help me to win.
Same as usual, sometimes win and sometimes lose.

I would be agree if the strategy is about self control.

No strategy will really work because house edge
In long run, most likely you'll suffer losses

So, the best strategy is don't try gambling

well that is a fact, as you can see all the gambling site are all surviving after so long. that proves that they r getting profit and tons of people are losing their btc.

You realize some sites go into the negatives a year+ after starting, right? They can absolutely be taken down. We see this in the real world, too -- gambling as a whole has been slowing down, causing some casinos to go bankrupt/be sold off.
2562  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Magnr - World's First Bitcoin Savings Account on: October 23, 2015, 08:08:45 PM
Hi is this site still going? no post since last month.

I'm fairly sure it is!

Yes, we've been around for coming up to three years now with no intention of stopping! At Magnr we just wished Bitcoin adoption would go quicker already!

At this point you officially pay more than Bitfinex, too. Their swaps are down to ~1.5% APR if you're lucky (usually closer to 1% or less, due to waiting periods).

Is possible for implementing player to player raffles tramsfer?

I don't think that should be needed, should it? The only case I could see this working would be for players to sell tickets to one another, but that would detract from BB's pool.
2564  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Ebay/Paypal's ridiculous fees on: October 23, 2015, 08:06:03 PM
Selling on Ebay sucks.

Buyers there will often overpay for items, so even though you pay more in fees than elsewhere, you can still earn a lot more, too.

Here's the first graphic of the 2oz gold highlighted coins.  The design isn't finalized yet, but the final product will be very similar.  Check out the 2oz coin thread to get all the details on this coin: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1199731.0

I love the one on the right! I think partially because of the color, as opposed to being sort of bland.

Anyone play PLO8 ? Is it popular? I did not see it on other gaming site Huh

Is PLO8 just Omaha Hi-Lo or what variation does that stand for?
2567  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How To Make Money With Bitcoin? on: October 23, 2015, 07:23:25 AM
selling goods, make offers, and etc.
not really easy to earn bitcoin now.., Wink
and change it to fiat.. Cheesy
You're right. It's not easy earning bitcoin now, so you must try other option.

you're not supposed to earn a lot, because remember that the value in the future may increase to a high point and give you anyway a very good treasure

so i would even try to aim at 1 btc only

Then you're better off doing RL work and buying the BTC. You'll get a lot more in a lot less time and with a lot less work. Then if it goes up a lot, you're REALLY making money.
2568  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice game strategy? on: October 23, 2015, 06:20:28 AM
You can play blindfolded and be lucky at the same time, but pressing a button won't make you rich.

Pressing button. Hmm..
I'm quite agree with these.

We cannot get money just by pressing button online.
Play dice online is cool, but we can't get stable profit just in Dice game.

Try to play on blackjack instead than only play on dice.

Considering blackjack has worse odds than dice... n/m, I'll just leave it at that.

A pro lender must know how to control risk.

Right. Yet again, someone suggests something that takes extensive knowledge/experience to do effectively to someone who clearly has no idea anything about it (otherwise the person wouldn't have been asking). This is like saying "don't invest, just buy a local business." How does that help anyone? You're effectively attempting to push them to a guaranteed failure.

I'm sure that the whale betting 200btc+ on PRC would be able to do 5k in wagers in a matter of minutes, :p.

I think the whale will not be coming because of the low max win, He is betting 2x for high amount and the max win here is now 7 btc. ALso the whale has just lost 100 + btc yesterday. The whale should be getting nice rakeback from PRC as well

Lobos what's next in for development? I see you just got back after bring away. Lot of investors are curious myself included.

Im curious myself, also I want to see the new game that was announce like  2 - 3 months ago, how is it going?

Ouch, wasn't aware he lost 100 BTC. How do you get this information from PRC?

It is in PRC's thread and and you can even check the number from dicesites.com. Because of this one whale the number of wager warz between PRC and betterbets is now more than 3k bitcoin different. Those who bet PRC to win at 3x odds will be happy right now, I think the match is almost decided

Ah, I thought you could track specific player results like with MP. And agreed... I'm not even sure if Mollotype and the others can top that now. Maybe it'll have a surprising twist, Smiley.

If you have some coins then start lending with proper collateral. This will give you some profits on your bitcoins and quite safe method.

True but you need real qualification and filter, to filter out scams.

Dont lend to anybody below JR level, and the collateral has to be of equal or greater value than the loan.

Greater value, and altcoins are risky. There have been multiple cases where someone takes out a loan with 120% collateral of an altcoin, it plunges, and they default on the loan since they have more than they'd get taking the alts back.

Yah the 10 btc one is but the norm rake isn't that's simple to get a few hundred btc wagered. 5000 is...not so easy.

2575  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [ANN] a-ads.com: advertise your business, monetize your traffic, earn with us! on: October 23, 2015, 03:13:11 AM
I'm really not sure what's the difference between impressions and unique impressions, based on the stats I've been getting... I mean, 2000 impressions and only 6 "unique" impressions? lol.

It's a very strange situation, but it can happen when page is under bots attack. Maybe first you should to review your site with Google Analytics..?
I did and I've already stopped trying to earn with a-ads.  Coinad pays MUCH more fair and better, as well as any of the other sites.  The stats and CPM and CPC are just off.
Google Analytics shows the best stats, trust me.  We get ~100000 views per day with sometimes 110 + different active sessions.

I will not defend a-ads. I resign from this service long time ago Wink

You mean Coinad pays good, but not so good like AdSense..? Wink I want try them but what is going on with "Invite code"? How i can get it?

Did you try MellowAds? They for sure are better than Bitmedia, but can you compare Coinad to this two services (Mellow and/or Bitmedia)?

Most services are better than AdSense... they're for people that can't get into other networks.

So far, I've found that AdSense pays the most, but there might be another site out there that pays out a lot. What other ad network do you recommend?

I can't really "recommend" any because the vast majority that I use are invite-only, so it would do no good to do so.

Your best bet is to network with others and become an authority figure if your niche, Smiley.
2576  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to make Bitcoin transactions untraceable? on: October 23, 2015, 02:48:14 AM

I think it's actually on topic. Different addresses for each received transaction is a huge thing. Is Bread the one that does dynamic fees, too?

No, I don't believe it takes out any fees at all... just takes out the $.07 or so in miners fees.  But changing the public address isn't really that big of a deal in terms of keeping your transactions untraceable, IMO... all of the previous transactions before can be linked by following where each transaction goes too.

But for example when using a wallet that mixes coins automatically when sending coins out, now that would help out a lot in keeping everything untraceable... I would input the "M" word here now, but I'm going to keep things on topic.  Smiley

By fees I meant the dynamic miner's fees. Like instead of always being 0.0001 BTC, it will choose whatever is the lowest that will get it confirmed (usually less). I forgot what wallet does that.
electrum will automatically calculate the minimum required fees for the tx to get included in the next block. But many ppl are using different wallets or online one. They couldn't do the calculation. So We have to calulate ourself based on cointape.com. Easy and quick!

Whoa, never even heard of cointape! That's awesome. And I didn't realize Electrum did it, either. Thanks for the heads-up on both!
2577  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where can I invest? on: October 23, 2015, 02:22:49 AM
invest in gambling site bankroll and you will be happy with your profits Smiley

Until you lose money. Doing this is not a guaranteed win. You are taking a pretty big risk, with multiple factors (someone cleans out bankroll, someone hacks site, owner closes down, etc.).
im talking about investing in trusted gambling sites like moneypot or like that

Ah, I see, like people that gave MtGox their money. Makes sense.
who gave money to who? guy won and that's gambling but overall house always win (Means you always profit)

I don't have the time to school you on the history of Bitcoin/cryptos, past events, current events, and future events that are already unfolding. You should really look into it sometime though -- your outlook is naive, at best.

My favorite thing to ask on this is if being the house is so profitable why would they want to outsource bankroll? As that is where they make money.  If done properly the casino win's long term... and should be able to keep it up on bankroll unless a whale or something did a stupid bet.  Which does not really happen to often I doubt.

I don't like they don't have regulations on most of these sites.  They are hosted to doge regulations.  So trusting one to be bank roll for them is just as risky as betting I think.

They share the bankroll to minimize risk. The same reason why huge investors won't dump all their money into one company, and why so many go through IPOs. Spread risk among many ventures and you decrease the chance of failure (in that ALL of them failing is much more slim than just one). Even in the case of BAB, Ryan has altered his personal investment into his site based on his personal risk tolerance.

Drawing Announcement

Date: 02 November 2015
Block used: First Block mined on 02 November 2015 GMT+0000
Algorithm used: MD5
Total Winners: Maximum of five; minimum of three*

I will be updating the site with new algorithm^ to select winning tickets for easier drawing.

* one user may win up to two tickets. If the user win with three tickets, the hashes used to select third ticket will be hashed again.

^ if a selected ticket belong to no one, we will choose the nearest number from the ticket. It can be up or down. If there is both up and down, the prize will be split into two - 0.005 BTC.

Awesome news, Smiley. I thought a user could only win one ticket, though, but having a cap of two isn't too bad I guess.
