The problem is usually the bank roll is so high that you have a small amount of money, maybe over the course of a year the site will make you a little bit of BTC.  But I would not rather have my coins in there for an entire year just incase something happened.

It is proportional to what you risk. If you risk a lot then you will gain alot but sometimes you dont need to wait for a year because some website has a good progress just in a short time and you will make like alot from that , you can withdraw it instant if you feel you make enough profit because you can do that

That is exactly what I am talking about.  If you risk 1 BTC in a 100,000 BTC bankroll, the house gains 10BTC, you basically gain .00001BTC.  That doesn't seem worth it to me..

Thats what Im saying, if you dont want to risk more then dont also please Dont be stupid and make some crazy number like that. The highest bankroll so far is PRC with less than 4,500 bitcoin. No other dice site that allow you to invest has 100,000 bitcoin in their bankroll

I was just making up some number for math sake.

You should not make crazy number then because what you make is not correct and misleading. You can still get a decent profit with 1 btc at 4,200 btc bankroll in a year in PRC because last time the site made like 3k bitcoin of profit. Try to be more rational and responsible in what you write

It could also lose money, and then you've lost. Just because it has profit now doesn't mean that's a guarantee. 10 max. wins and the site has lost over a year worth of profit. Only takes one whale.

The "proof of liabilities" list hasn't been updated for more than a week it seems. It is not a big issue so you could leave it behind and fix it when you are back. Have a nice trip. Smiley

Thanks, and thanks for reminding me. I've updated it now, showing 777 BTC of liabilities on 1000 btc of assets =)

Does this essentially mean that 223 BTC of it is yours, and the site essentially has 25% more money than is needed to pay off all debtors?

Don't forget that the first account shown in https://www.moneypot.com/proof-of-liabilities.txt belongs to Ryan (he mentioned that somewhere in this thread in the past), so the actual liabilities (that is the total account balance of all MP users) of moneypot would be more like 777 - 170 = 607 btc.

Yeah, I consider his personal investment as part of his liabilities, though (I guess it depends on how you look at it, but I view his company as being separate from his personal investments).

Anyone in need can grab a custom NastyFans mousepad for $0.99 with free shipping using the below code.  Expires 12/14/15.
Ah man, I should have ordered this, instead of a mousepad with a "Bitcoin St. Petersburg Bowl"-design. I mean, that is still pretty cool, but this is so much cooler.

No kidding, I should buy a bunch for at work. We can't even get them at that price!

I wonder how many can be purchased with this code. If not multiple in one order, maybe multiple orders would work. I haven't bought mine yet but will soonish.

You need different IP addresses (TOR will work) and email addresses.  Payment and shipping addresses can be the same though.  Wink

Great news. Emails are easy enough, and proxies as well. Weird that the rest can be the same. Thanks for the heads-up!
2544  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where can I invest? on: October 24, 2015, 02:20:13 AM
you can invest in hyips though they are most likely to fail

These programs are made to cheat investors so I don't advice any one to even try these kind programs to make profits.

You can't cheat someone out of their money if they voluntarily give it while knowing the risks. Everyone knows what they are. They know how they work. If someone invests and loses money, that's not the site's fault -- it's the investor's.

Sometimes i use some strategies such as martingale but it doesnt really help me to win.
Same as usual, sometimes win and sometimes lose.

I would be agree if the strategy is about self control.

No strategy will really work because house edge
In long run, most likely you'll suffer losses

So, the best strategy is don't try gambling

Every strategy works but depend on your luck. But most useful strategy is just martingale, there is no others that can beat martingale. The matter is can your balance cover your loss? If your balance can cover it so martingale will really helpful for you. Dont try to gamble and you wont get money from it

Your balance could be 50000 billion BTC. It doesn't change the effects of martingale. Sites have a bet cap AND a win cap. It doesn't matter how much YOU have. It matters what the site lets you bet. Once you hit that cap, you've lost a lot of BTC you're never getting back.

Hi Baztardo,
Cannot withdraw, Insufficient in mellow fund message.
Fyi

There are plenty of funds available in our hot wallet for withdrawal.
What is your account balance and your account ref? (you can get this from the Account Details page)

Note: You cannot withdraw any credit that you have claimed from the faucet - this can only be used for network campaigns.

Sorry I'm wrong, I tried to withdraw all and it says I have insufficient fund.
Yeah, I think because of the faucet credit.
All good now. Thanks

btw, It means you cannot use the "Withdraw All" option if you have faucet credit.

Yeah, I'd like to request this get altered to where it only inputs all of what you can withdraw. Makes things easier.
2549  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best way to earn Bitcoins? on: October 24, 2015, 02:14:51 AM
At the current time, is it profitable to mine altcoins? If it is, then should the altcoin have the lowest difficulty, or be chosen it based on another factor? Is it easier to get profit from a CPU-mine only coin, or something like BURST, which you 'mine' using your HDD?

Not at all. You're better off mining BTC and using that to buy alts in most cases. Some will claim "you can mine x of coin y and you'll make a lot if it goes up 10x," but you'd make more buying it for BTC since you'd have more coins.

well that is a fact, as you can see all the gambling site are all surviving after so long. that proves that they r getting profit and tons of people are losing their btc.

You realize some sites go into the negatives a year+ after starting, right? They can absolutely be taken down. We see this in the real world, too -- gambling as a whole has been slowing down, causing some casinos to go bankrupt/be sold off.

Maybe that's probably because they did not manage advertising well, and invested to much trying to attract players but failed. Players get lucky use bonus etc, and then never come back, leaving them with a loss. If they get a player base, I think it's hard for casinos not to profit in the long run.

Tell that to MGM and some other big ones in Vegas that are still struggling (protip: everyone knows about Vegas. And there's plenty of advertising).

What happen if the ghs become 1.. is it still useable? Or need technician to fix it

I think after 1 ghs, your miner will still work some time then it will stop if you will not fix them by using a technician.

I believe it runs until 4.99% health (where it would round down to 0 GH/s). But it's a lot better to keep it repaired.

My 10ghs is already down.. It dont even drop to 7..

Edit: I found "repair" and "hire technician" option .. the game goes on .. (stupid me  Grin )

It shouldn't die straight off. It should go down at like 3-5% per day, so drop by 1GH/s every 2-4 days, until 0. I'd repair long before then, though.

It was around 18 days without any action. I hire technician for one hour and turn off everything for one hour for repair - now is mining for 100%.

Did it take the whole hour to repair? My 60% -> 100% was like 29m. I'm wondering how the repair time is calculated.

Is possible for implementing player to player raffles tramsfer?

I don't think that should be needed, should it? The only case I could see this working would be for players to sell tickets to one another, but that would detract from BB's pool.

I thinking if have multi account can stack tickets for one account maybe bigger chance win raffles.
you have same chances (if you have multi) same number of ticket same chances of winning raffles
regards.
-Katerniko1

This. Not to mention you can't bet faster running multiple accounts at once (tried this already) so there's no benefit to it unless you're just doing different strategies on each.

I can get this script for free.
And without bugs (already tested).

Good luck with that.
Regards.

Is that because it's freeware or because you can pirate it? Two very different things. And are you sure that it's the SAME script? Bootstrap makes a lot of things look similar.

Anyone play PLO8 ? Is it popular? I did not see it on other gaming site Huh

Is PLO8 just Omaha Hi-Lo or what variation does that stand for?

PLO8 stands for Pot Limit Omaha 8 or better.

Here is a partial copy/paste of an article published on pokernews.com

The action in PLO8 proceeds exactly like any other Omaha ring game, except that all bets and raises are capped at the size of the current pot.
Players receive four down cards to start, and must use two and only two of them to combine with three and only three of the five board cards to make their best high hand and low hand. Half of the pot is awarded to the best high hand, with the other half going to the best low hand.

There is not always a qualifying low hand in PLO8.
Unless the board contains three cards 8 or lower, there is no possible low hand to be made and the entire pot is awarded to the best high hand.
Players may use different combinations of their hole cards and the board to make each hand. For example, a player with the Ad-2d-3c-5h on a board of 2s-Jd-7d-8h-Kd would use the Ad-3c from their hole cards and the 2s-7d-8h from the board to create their low hand, and play the Ad-2d along with the Jd-7d-Kd for the high.

Ah, yeah, so I was right on that. I personally hate Omaha Hi-Lo, and don't think it's super popular.
2555  Economy / Gambling / Re: MoneyPot.com :: The bitcoin gambling wallet on: October 23, 2015, 09:05:09 PM
I'll be traveling this weekend, and likely with intermittent internet access. Support tickets will be handled a bit slow (i'll try prioritize the more important ones first) and if the hot wallet runs out, I can't promise to refill it instantly (although I'll do my best, and put as much as I sanely can it in now).

If any large investors want to make sure there's funds to process their withdrawal, best to do it now =)

(I don't actually think there's going to be any problems, though.)

I'd just run the hot wallet like you normally do -- not add a lot more to it. I'm sure many are like me and prefer safety over risk. A little inconvenience is a lot better than loss.
2556  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [ANN] a-ads.com: advertise your business, monetize your traffic, earn with us! on: October 23, 2015, 08:20:00 PM

The important thing is that if you have exactly the same audience as Coindesk and users open your page as often as Coindesk, then both of you would get equal amount of unique impressions. If they open Coindesk 100 times more often, then you are likely to earn 100 times less. That's fair.

Quote
A-ads is only good for advertisers because the rate is so cheap, but as a publisher you will make pennies

The rate is determined by the market. All the non-unique impressions are supposed to be priced in (same as all the tried hashes are priced in the bitcoin mining process). Publishers' earnings mainly depend on their traffic (think of it as of hashing power) and advertisers' spendings. If traffic is converting and is too cheap, advertisers are expected to pay more. They don't pay per impression, they pay for share of traffic and expect to get all the non-unique impressions too. So theoretically CPM in our network should be higher than in others.

So if page doesn't have hundreds thousands of visitors will get dust.. Or in other words if someone have little traffic this service is not good for him..

That's why i resign from a-ads. When i run my first web i take two adverts from a-ads and after two weeks i get some little dust.

Don't get me wrong but it looks like your service is not for beginners but only for big players.

Technically, you could have low traffic BUT be the first site most people visit (aka become a very useful, unique site) and you'd earn a lot. In a sense, it's kind of promoting capitalism. Be better than the competition and take their market share.
2557  Economy / Gambling / Re: SwCpoker.eu | No Banking, Only Bitcoin | Bitcoin Poker 2.0 LIVE NOW! on: October 23, 2015, 08:16:53 PM
IMO, as long as SWC can get their Android app out before Betcoin their traffic will come back. If not, I think the room may be in trouble. I know SWC is working hard to do so, and hope they can pull it off!

Is Betcoin making an android app?!  That's actually amazing news if only because perhaps it will light the fire under these guy's asses (9 months for a beta-version poker app is a little on the slow-side, amiright?).  I've had trouble getting betcoin to work on my linux desktop but I'm going to check them out again if they're finally adding android.

They said they're doing Android and iOS but, like SWC, there is no ETA. So could be a month. Could be years, Tongue.

They were saying that when sealswithclubs went down. Has there been a new announcement?

Yep, they posted about it a couple days ago on their thread, and said they'll make sure everyone knows as soon as they're ready.

Hi guys! Grin
I saved some money in the last year, now I'm looking for some opportunity in this kind of market to invest my money. Is it better buy altcoins or bitcoin? maybe mining? I'm just a bit confused, but determinate!

I would probably reccomend carbon7.cc and pokeram.com. I havn't used them though so invest with caution! They generate profits by running computers that run algorithems on gambling sites and play the games to win the profits to send to you. You can also get some free software for this!

I would avoid any site that claims they can beat the odds with gambling. Math proves this wrong. No software will change that.

Safe.Cash still active Huh

I haven't heared from them either.... I got a reply to my initial mail that i would be included in the campaign, and contacted soon.... Afterwards => nothing (but i'm still waiting anyways Wink )
OP last time active on 21 October and last post is also on same date but no response on this thread for last 20 days mean after failure of their this giveaway now they are working on something better way for launching of this site

I think the failure is because of how unclear everything is. They really need to start making more clear posts/thread titles so people know what's going on.
