3581  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: | Nxt | Blockchain Platform | Proof of Stake | Official on: June 09, 2017, 10:29:38 PM
Therefore, it stands to reason that I can log out and back in using any passphrase and open a random account.  Hacking issue is that the vast number of possible passphrases is ridiculous and the software suggest 35 characters or more.

But, trying a half dozen or so common passphrases might get something. Brute force could be used to repeatedly input passphrases, parse the balance info and then compile a list.  This is all based on the NXT.
3582  Economy / Exchanges / Re: No more Trollbox at Poloniex on: June 09, 2017, 10:19:06 PM
No trollbox, boo ho ho, what am I ever going to do.

Actually, it was useless.

The basic signals for Polo at the moment is that the top team is simply cutting away the useless chatter that serves no purpose for the customers or the company.

The biggest concern that you should have on a fork is if you dl the AIO or another wallet of that type and find that your wallet is completely off from the main blockchain, that could mean that you forked and need to delete the data and start syncing again.
3584  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Is bread wallet okay to store my bitcoins? on: June 09, 2017, 07:41:54 PM
Ive searched that bread wallet connects you directly to the blockchain network and then will serve as a wallet. But whats good here is that your naming your own bitcoins and is not hosted by services that promise you this amount of coin. Is this really good. I wanted to know the pros and cons. Anyone who can share his/her experience?
Bread wallet!! Today first i heard about this wallet from you. I only used blockchain and desktop wallet like electrum wallet. Sometimes also use Coinbase wallet. However, If they provide a private key, Than its good. If they not, than leave this account. just my personal suggestion dude

If you have iphone, then the bread wallet is best for you. It is the most secure wallet and with the security of IoS in iphone, it makes it even more secure than before.
3585  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Online Pharmacy Accepting Bitcoin! Worldwide Shipping! on: June 09, 2017, 07:28:58 PM
I am not sure how a online pharmacy will fair, how is it possible to ship world wide and are you sending it through the legal channels as i think all the subscription medicines cannot be sent online and there is a law which bars from sending these things without a consent by a legal medical practitioner and i am not sure how they are going to deal with these legal hurdles.

Worldwide is would be pretty easy.  You just need one, and that won't be hard to find, person with an MD and they can write electronic RX's.  Or, if they already have an RX, it is not hard at all.
3586  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: [ESHOP launched] Trezor: Bitcoin hardware wallet on: June 09, 2017, 07:07:59 PM
Hey there, I just buyed my Trezor wallet and wanna know if i can store TaaS in it? (I didnt received it yet, coming in the next days).

You can store TaaS in MyEtherWallet using Trezor to manage the private keys.

They can grab, store and transmit that phrase in the short amount of time that the file is on your PC.  .  Making the file directly on the USB drive is pretty much these days the same as doing it on the PC, but a USB can be stored in case the PC hard drive fails.
3587  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: i need wallet on: June 09, 2017, 06:44:38 PM
I used coinbase and blockchain..It's a great wallet.. You can try it

I think you should prefer to use desktop wallet rather than online wallets like coinbase. DEsktop wallet like electrum is the best one as it is lightweight and also allows to control over your coins through private key.
3588  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can we suggest bitcoin to people after this? on: June 09, 2017, 06:35:51 PM
We all know how wonderful was bitcoin at first, fast mining and fast confirmations. But now will new people in crypto start using bitcoin? Fees are so high, very bad, it's only for 2000$ and higher transactions because of it's high fees. It's useless for normal transactions because why the hell will I use bitcoin if I want to pay something, for example paying 10$ for mobile network when I have to pay additional bitcoins fee which is nearly 2$? Is there any logic? If I want to start bitcoin business, how can I tell people that it's good? If I say so, than this will be 100% lie. Bitcoin don't gives us opportunity to spread it worldwide because it sucks now. It's now good for rich people and darknet users, not for someone who wants to use it as an alternative of real money.
If we tell people that if they receive payments in btc, there money will increase overtime, isn't that fantastic. This would kill fees pain to some extent.
That's an absolutely terrible idea.  You risk losing family and friends for giving them investment advice without even using tentative terms.

If people's only aim when receiving Bitcoin is for the price to increase, then there are no fundamentals and that situation sure as hell couldn't last forever.

I think its better to tell them that bitcoin is good as investment currently rather than using it for small transaction across the web. Its really hard to buy online using bitcoin because of its high transaction fee. So it is much better to tell your friends and families to used it a investment for now and once the issue has been settled, they can used bitcoin to transfer money as remittances or buy things online using bitcoin as payment method.

I think bitcoin is still good for making high payments. The transaction fee is only burden for those who have to send low multiple payments and with each payment a dollar extra as fee make it a real pain.
3589  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs altcoins, will they survive? on: June 09, 2017, 06:15:52 PM
Just like there are many assets, currencies, and precious commodities in the real world, there will always be many different coins in crypto world. Many coins that exist today will die, many new appear, but Bitcoin (or some altcoin) will never be the only cryptocurrency. There's no benefits in having just one crypto coin, while having many creates competition between developers that will make them work harder, users will always have access to reserve cryptocurrency if one of them gets hacked/overtaken by someone, etc.

Bitcoin and altcoins both are necessary for the digital world and we cant deny the benefit of the either one. I think both bitcoin and altcoin will together take over fiat and make this a real digital world.
3590  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What would be the next 3 most promising ICOs? on: June 09, 2017, 05:33:15 PM
I wish i could participate in the following three ICO:SONM,Status, and Akasha, but as for BAT lesson,i don't know whether they will be sold in 30seconds

I want to see more ICO's that either through Bitcoin or through derived code take more advantage of the myriad of things that can be done through the blockchain.
3591  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: First time miner/fact finding on: June 09, 2017, 05:25:14 PM
I think the established coins would be those like bitcoin, dash, litecoin, etherium, and a few others that run on the X11, script, sha256 and quark algos

Those are all being mined heavily

So I think what the idea would be is to mine the smaller, less mined coins and hope that you can choose the ones that pick up in value in the near future

Ideally you need to purchase an asic batch 1. Before too many are released (I'm looking at you BitMain)

Watch for brand new coins and set up the PC to mine at least ten of these every month.  Download the wallet for the coin on the PC, mine when it is brand new for a couple days and you will get a good bunch of coins since the diff is so low in the beginning.
3592  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Beth ICO ( Beth.jp ) Another Scam in cryptoland on: June 09, 2017, 05:17:46 PM
This is not the story with all ICO's, new coins and dev's projects, but it is the end of many of them.  The new coin market is so bogged down with scammers, dev's that can't handle supporting the coin over the long term, and just mis-handled coins that even the best ideas and concepts die out before they can begin.
3593  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: | Nxt | Blockchain Platform | Proof of Stake | Official on: June 09, 2017, 05:05:15 PM
why nxt is going up?

Nxt is the best thing since sliced bread.
just i was wonderig , NXT project deserve much more than 4k sat.

Burstcoin is a good example of something where some simple easy things in theory can yield results, but shouldn't pay off with any real speed. .  You go online to the wallet or download it and you log in with simply your private key.
Now, at that moment, you can put whatever you want into the private key field.  Let's say that my private key is actually 'password' and I type 'Password', notice the capital P, in that case I would have logged into the wrong account and have full control over it.

There is a github release that claims to make it happen, but it uses Docker and that is the only method we have not tried.  Let's see where this thread goes.

3596  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SNC] SunContract - Decentralized Energy Market on: June 08, 2017, 11:18:56 PM
The project is gaining a lot of popularity now and i really love the concept. This can be one of the most promising project so i really am interested in investing my Bitcoins in the ICO. Waiting for the ico

There days many ICO are scams but i guess this ICO will be worth investing. I have a great and real project after a long time and my heart saying to me to invest in this ICO.
3597  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [DEVICE] SimpleRigResetter - Auto reboot freezed rigs - AVAILABLE NOW !!! on: June 08, 2017, 11:15:54 PM
Has anyone setup one of these on ethos?
You need only add script from webisite to autostart.
You need basic linux skills for that.

This sounds interesting.  Several ASIC we have used all had the same pain in the butt issues that made them even more of a pain than running a simple server of some type.
3598  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: Minexcoin (ICO started) on: June 08, 2017, 10:59:22 PM
how shares are calculated?
i mean for 10 share, how many coins you get?

thanks

The problem with the value of cryptos is that it is based on nothing.  Even the cheapest stocks on the stock market have some type of assets behind the stock.
3599  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FaucetHUB.io - Micro-cache/Mini-exchange, Bitcoin & Alt-coins. on: June 08, 2017, 10:49:18 PM
I have recently been playing with that site and noticed a couple things.  The micro site itself is looking great and I like the way that faucet micros seem to be adding a lot more to make themselves more useful and attractive, the level systems and such.

On the other side of the coin is the fact that the faucets are going down hill very quickly.  There are a few that use one of the standard scripts, but there are more and more that are implementing three to four levels of link shorteners
