2781  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling.. way to loss on: March 24, 2019, 05:00:43 AM
In Crypto World, Gambling is fastest way to double crypto. You can doubling your tokens to 2x,3x,5x and more than 10x.
But to play Gambling is difficult if you play without knowledge.

Why i say Gambling is way to loss ?

In Gambling website, you can see review of users how much tokens they won in gambling. But, you don't know how much they deposit to play gambling.

TOTAL BET > TOTAL WIN

Gambling is really an 80% loss and a 20% win depending on the persons luckiness. Its also hard to tell if the winnings of that person is just by one game or he is just lucky he always win. Not unlike to those people who really struggled hard to have a lot money.

I do not think that we can say that gambling is 80% loss. I have seen people who just play a single game and win Big amount. For them, its a 100% win. The overall winning percentage is gambling is still very small but people never leave gambling because they find it the easiest way to make some money.
2782  Economy / Marketplace / Re: $1000 to spare each month, how would you invest it? on: March 23, 2019, 06:00:49 PM
Due to the movements of Bitcoin, those $ 1000 would invest it completely to buy Bitcoin and destine them to keep them until their bullish phase begins. Since it is a safe investment, I would review the price in a few months, just to see how much it has grown.
This is best choice to invest your money in to bitcoin because it has high potential and it will give your better result as compare to other altcoins investment, I think it is good time to buy because price is really good, so invest now only in bitcoin as price is really good and it will rise even more than this just a little time will be required.

In every month you have one or two coins which have very big news like testnet / mainnet etc.  You need to study the coins and invest in such coins. If each month you invest 1000$ in such coins, you can easily get 2x and also in less time.  This way you can almost double your 1000$ each month.
2783  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lets be careful on what we are investing on: March 23, 2019, 04:55:37 PM
Investors should be vigilant and do thorough research and investigation to ascertain the genuineness of otherwise of any project you want to invest on.
I understand that these days, so many are coming up with fake scam projects in order to scam unsuspecting investors of their hard earned money.
Let carefulness be our watch word in this market.

First of all, investment should be done after through study and research. This is true for both investment in the sites and in the altcoins for trading. A Good investment can make you very rich in a short period of time , while a bad investment can make you lose big money.
You should spend some time in research before you actually make the decision of investing.
2784  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Bitcoin tries to do the impossible on: March 22, 2019, 04:38:37 PM
Definitely, If the ETF is approved definitely bitcoin will gain much from the current price but I don't think it is still going to be approved for now but maybe in upcoming years

And you think Bitcoin will not achieve so much even without the ETF? Bitcoin has a lot of potentials and definitely the ETF is not one of it. Whether they approve it or not does not affect Bitcoin in any way. If anyone will go ahead to sell their coin just because of this,  then its too bad for the person.

ETF approval is a big decision which will impact the bitcoin volume and price. But on the other hand, if bitcoin ETF is not approved, it will also not hurt bitcoin much. The main reason is that bitcoin is a currency which everyone will use and it has so many benefits. Even if ETF and Sec approvals are not there, still bitcoin will survive and surely will boom in future.
2785  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin has no practical use and could be damaging to the economy! on: March 18, 2019, 08:48:25 AM
Still I won't change my idea about Bitcoin and will still continue to use it even though the guys words hurts me a little.

It shouldn't hurt. In fact, some times I feel sorry for people who are so close minded, because they are the ones losing out, not we. You should feel strengthened that Bitcoin is subjected to so much skepticism. In most cases people are salty about not having bought in sooner. Instead of utilizing the current bear market, they continue to talk about how it can't work.

Little that they know, they will feel even saltier in the next couple of years when we reach new highs. People's main problem is that they think the initial stage of revolution is over, but it's far from over. We barely made it past our first obstacle and the second one is quite literally too distant with how this speculative phase won't just come to an end. Markets need time to mature, so does Bitcoin.

It doesn't happen all that often to see a new shift in technology or money that could change the world. Instead of enjoying it, people fight against it. Roll Eyes

very well-said. i feel sorry also to people who are being negative towards bitcoin or crypto or blockchain. if only they knew the benefits that they can derived from using cryptocurrencies, i bet they won't be saying any false statements towards this technology. but i believe, they will realize sooner or later about the amazing benefits from this technology and noticed that their perception was totally wrong. but i suggest, if people really don't know the concept behind a particular technology, just make sure that their statements will make sense or they will be perceived as the laughing stock in the community.
I guess everyone here is knowledgeable about how useful Bitcoin can be. But humanity is not ready for it. Today most people can not understand the meaning of electron money. As the technology progresses, cryptocurrency will find its place and develop.

I think people mind and way of thinking will be changed with the passage of time. This is a transform of money from fiat to digital and such a big change will not be accepted easily.
No one can deny the benefits of crypto currencies, it’s just some people are protraiting it in a wrong way.

2786  Economy / Economics / Re: Don't stress too much due to the bear market on: March 18, 2019, 08:39:59 AM
Bear market will eventually go but stressing too much and expecting bull market every now and then we keep us in more stress
for me the market conditions will change. so I think the city doesn't have to be concerned with the state of the bear that appears and goes away. because the situation will change. what we think about right now is that we have to endure and be careful in carrying out a bitcoin trip.

The market conditions will surely change but the question is WHEN ?
The more prolong the bear market is , the more time it will take to recover. As we move down the supports level , the support will actually become the resistance.
2787  Economy / Economics / Re: Investing in Bitcoin in 2019? on: March 18, 2019, 05:23:43 AM
Hopefully you will find a good investment, because nowadays bitcoin raising is not quite perfect, I am not a good trader but I can only say to investors this year 2019 a good year to invest bitcoin and hopefully will increase its price again until 2020.

Investing in bitcoins is the right decision and it can be very fruitful. Bitcoin has started slow rise momentum from the start of this year 2019 and it will continue to grow in 2020 and beyond.
2788  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Protect yourself from Excitement and keep your Winnings Safe on: March 17, 2019, 04:20:17 PM
You keep on saying "Stop Game - Withdrawal" and it really helps you to stop? lol. Its not that easy for everyone. Each and every people are different on their own way and addiction affect everyone in different way. Next, all you do is keep your winnings on a friends wallet to protect it? Well, if you are lose, wouldn't you take those winnings from your friends and use it for gambling?
The best way to keep your winnings safe is to quit once you made enough loss/profit.
Of course not that easy, everyone wants to stop when they're winnings. they will say Stop play and withdraw! but what happened, many players actually continued their play. each player has its own way to save their profits, and if you can't stop then set aside a few percent of your profits to play again

Everyone has their own priorities and way of playing gambling. Some people just win and quit the game. Others may take risk and take their wining to the next level. If you ever heard of anyone getting a big win out of gambling, then those are only people who take more risk and win more than normal.
2789  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Definition of Winning in Gambling on: March 17, 2019, 03:24:11 PM
Because I have so many losses in gambling, my definition of winning in gambling already changes, and is now to extract fun from this industry.  Tongue If I am enjoying the game without overly thinking that I will get broke afterwards, then I consider myself just giving a break from this life and winning in the situation. But if I truly win the game, then that is a good bonus for me.

Gambling playing for fun is the best way to think about it. You cannot control the lose or win in gambling and it is only the fun which is in your control. If you free up yourself from the fear of losing, then only you can enjoy the gambling. But for this to achieve you have to have a lot of money so losing some of it does not matter to you.
2790  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: After long break I started constant betting and this is what happen today? on: March 17, 2019, 08:49:06 AM
sometimes after we take a long break and come in again, it's like getting a good mood and being able to win bets, I've done that.

It depends on your luck as always. No matter you take a long break or not, it wont affect the result of your gamble. Take a break on gambling should be used to refresh your mind only, you should never think that you will always win once you coming back after a long break.
Just like the result on the OP, he’s addict on gambling before and able to recover from that but since gambling is still here, he tried to gamble again and lose money. Luck is something that we should not depend on, if you want to stop gambling then you must commit on that and play occasionally, don’t let this game lose your money again.
As recently some expert gamblers said in gambling luck is important but it plays only 40 percent role in your earning remaining 60 percent you will have to make for yourself, in gambling taking break does not matter but if you take never stay away from gambling, try to use your time id researching and keep watching different games.

If you take a long break from gambling and then return to it, it does not matter. Even if you keep on playing daily it does not matter even. You can play few games and the loss and win is only luck based. So if you come to gambling after a long time, this does not grantee that you will win. You can still lose.

A better approach will be to restrict the money with which you will play Monthly. If you make a Certain loss, then stop the gambling and then start playing it next month with the next month budget.
2791  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lessons from poker on: March 17, 2019, 08:10:19 AM
During the online poker boom of the mid-2000s, I played full-time for a few years.

I'd be hesitant to describe myself as a "pro"; I was young and not playing particularly high stakes. But I was churning out hands (playing 24 tables at once) and making an hourly well ahead of what anyone would pay me at the time.

Anyway, I haven't played poker (online) for many years now, but a lot of the lessons I learned during those years have served me well when sports betting. Here are three of them:

Don't be results orientated

Poker is very much a game of ups and downs. It is common for good moves to backfire and bad moves to pay off. Accordingly, it was extremely important to separate your actions from results. For instance, if I managed to get an opponent to bet all their chips against me with a worse hand, only for them to hit one of the only two cards in the deck they needed to beat me, I needed to keep my head up and acknowledge I'd done the right thing, despite losing.

But equally, if the roles were reversed, I couldn't celebrate knowing I'd made a bad play.

When it comes to sports betting, it is much the same. If I call a tight game between strong defences, bet on a 0-0 draw, and then watch a tight game finish 1-0 due to a freak goal out of nowhere, I know to tell myself that if I keep doing what I'm doing, I'll come out top in the long-run.

Information is power... but only if your opponent doesn't have it too

People who play poker a lot tend to run programs which provide thousands of statistics on their opponents. This is fine, and the information is great for informing decisions. But it becomes worthless if the other players has the same information, and knows I have this information. If the stats show a crazily aggressive opponent, but that opponent knows I have this information, they can easily adapt their game to fool me.

With sports betting, it is easy to get carried away with information. "Messi is injured so it makes sense to bet against Barcelona". Well, no, because obviously the bookmaker knows this too, and has already adapted their odds accordingly.

There's no system, only constant improvement

I eventually fell out of love with poker and stopped studying the game. My results quickly went downhill. It is the same with sports betting. Finding an edge is hard, but possible. The thing is even if you find one, don't bank on keeping it very long. For a couple of years, I had a lot of success betting on football from very obscure leagues. I had an algorithm which was great at spotting games where bookmakers had not priced up correctly. But very quickly this edge vanished, as the bookmakers improved their own pricing strategies.

Would love to hear from anyone else who played poker seriously online and now bets on sports...

These are some  golden behaviors rather then techniques. Although they not grantee that you will win but our overall experience of poker and gambling will be better if we follow them.

@JohnBitCo @Royse We were talking about slow batting and aggressive batting in the context of a Test match  Grin

How 20-20 Game changed the mindset of the current generation players and their approach has changed drastically in a Test match too. Resulting test match finishing within 3 days.

The reason for Test match to finish in just 3 days is that we lack the true batsmen and most of the players are just hitters. Remember the old days when most test matches were drawn as it was difficult to take 40 wickets in 5 days.

Yh I know LOL
Since JohnBitCo had his response so I had to answer it ;-P
Somewhere in a topic I said the same thing about 50 overs ODI match. I can not find it though now.

Well, I am taking about the overall change in the techniques of the batsmen.  Wink
2793  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Cricket World Cup - Discussion & Analysis on: March 17, 2019, 06:25:27 AM
~snip~
If you’re not aware then let me inform you that ICC is bringing several new rules which will make test cricket very interesting. The most notable rule is the introduction of free hit on the no ball, that’ll force bowlers to not give away extra runs.
I was not aware of that.

By the way, I am more into seeing aggressive betting then standing on the pitch and do nothing. In test match a batsman can stay as long as he wants and score double or triple century. Nothing is stopping them to do that.

Yes, you are right they have changed the mindset. Before they used to play for draw and now they play to win.
Completely true. I do agree that aggressive batting is a lot more fun to watch when compared to slow batting, but there are still a good number of fans of the slow batting style like JSRAW and I can understand their opinion.

Honestly, I don't find time to watch ODIs or tests these days which is why the quick T20 matches are what I usually watch these days.

Well people love to watch high scoring games as compare to the low scoring ones.  Previously 250 was considered as the good score in ODI but since the introduction of T20, we see many ODIs score reaching 300+.  The reason is that we have develop a habit of hitting throughout T20 matches and bowlers has very less chances to restrict the scores.
2794  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you find Success in Gambling? on: March 17, 2019, 06:14:05 AM
I have tried with $100 in bustadice, but my bad luck, i could not make a big amount. But could achieve a little money out of few rolls. I seriously expected at least 0.3 btc in few rolls but could not. Not everyone would become a winner in gambling. But i have seen my friends winning even 3 btc a day. This depends on the luck as well.

If you think that you can earn a lot of money with just 100$ in just one go, then you are totally wrong about gambling. You need to be patience and advisedly use your money in order to gain profit. We often here stores from our friends that they won a lot in gambling so that's why we also jump in gambling. We should also ask them about their loses too. I am sure that there is no gambler who have never experience any loss.
2795  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My Own Gambling Strategy on: March 16, 2019, 05:50:33 PM
Number one and three makes some sense. Gamblers need to have a budget for gambling. Taking money from your entire savings could also contribute to addiction.
Gamblers may also need to lower their  their bet whether  winning or losing.
Yes it make sense and mostly gamblers are too greedy to use their savings just to hope for a gambling that they can earn profit. Strategies like this can help, but you must still control yourself not to gamble at all because this is a losing game and for sure you don’t want to lose money which is very common in gambling.

If you are greedy then you cannot earn anything in gambling. I do not follow any Strategy in gambling now a days , as from my experience I come to know none of the Strategy is of any worth. The only thing which I do is plan my games and spend only limited amount of money in gambling which save me from loses.
2796  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: accurate sport prediction on: March 16, 2019, 03:27:34 PM
there is no accurate match prediction. which I often encounter is only a soft prediction. just try self predicting by looking for match statistics. by looking at statistics it is easier to estimate the match result. in football matches I generally see team statistics in the last few matches and estimates of squad being lowered and a list of injured players. from the list you can consider the ideal results for each match.
I've been looking into that also but it turns me off knowing nothing to be that accurate. Of course, we can't predict who will surely win with the match not unless we saw that the opposite team is not competitive enough to win the game. But if we talking into close match, it absolutely nobody knows.

The matches where one team is clearly favorite than the other, the betting returns on such team is not high. For a equal competitive teams, we never know who will win and its again a matter a luck that we predict the correct winning team.

Definitely, If the ETF is approved definitely bitcoin will gain much from the current price but I don't think it is still going to be approved for now but maybe in upcoming years

ETF is not the only thing which can increase the bitcoin price. A lot of exchanges and investments are coming in bitcoin and the fomo of Halving will also start soon. Bitcoin is following the pattern and if things move as expected we can see another bull run by the mid of next year. Bitcoin will cross 50,000$ this time as predicted by many experts.
2798  Economy / Marketplace / Re: $1000 to spare each month, how would you invest it? on: March 16, 2019, 12:27:53 PM
follow some channels, as example PalmBeach on telegram, or buy token exchanges with IEO, as example BNB, and huobi tokens,

if you have luck , maybe you can buy the coin on IEO, i already try, but its really hard...

Although PalmBeach is a big channel on telegram but it is not the best. Rather than following the channels, we should develop the basic skills so that we may buy the right coin at the right time.

If you need to spend 1000$ monthly on crypto, I will suggest you to buy bitcoins for 500$ and different altcoins for the other 500$. This will give you good collection of coins and eventually you can sell them when the price rises up.
2799  Economy / Speculation / Re: Many cryptocurrency players have gone bankrupt on: March 16, 2019, 11:03:09 AM
Many cryptocurrency players have gone bankrupt
As I said in this year's new futures market
Such speculation has already allowed many former winners to Departure .
Many cryptocurrency traders, investors are going to bankrupt because of being dumped market. They invested assets at higher rate and facing a lot of losses.

Many of those short term investors might have already quit the market. The big dump of bitcoin from 19000 to 3000$ for over a year has vanished out those short term investors and now only the holders are left. Of course those who sell in loss, they have lost their money. Only the ones, who are still holding will be rewarded in the next bull market.
2800  Economy / Services / Re: List your coin/token on a new exchange on: March 16, 2019, 10:24:28 AM
There are an umpteen of trash tokens from useless ICO and his bounty programs. Am sure they will accept any exchange to be listed just to have big news on his social media channels. Do not worry has a job to add a new token/coin to exchange. You need to find traders and people who will buy this thrash.

Still people has collected so many tokens from ICO and have no value. If these are put on exchanges, they might get some value. I mean there are few good projects too but they also do not come to exchanges as these days exchanges listing fee is too high. It may help some of those projects but I doubt it can scam people are the same time by collecting all the token and exit  Roll Eyes
