3321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin on: September 09, 2017, 06:33:58 AM
Novelty is gone. So really, it's kind of like that aging athlete that is still playing, had some historic events early in its career and has gotten to the point where those historic events aren't strong enough to carry it through the fact that it just can't compete.
3322  Other / Archival / Re: Do you agree with idea "Bitcoin bank" ? on: September 09, 2017, 05:48:52 AM
What banking services did you want it to provide. There are several things that a bank does. I assume that the first and fore most that you are looking for is the interest payments. There are a few exchanges type sites that pay interest on the BTC balance that you have and maintain, so that is covered. Credit? Well, that is a whole new ball game.

It is hard to give credit and keep people anonymous at the same time. There are sites that give loans. So it depends on what you are looking for. We dont need all functions of banks. Maybe a few will do.

3323  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sorry me, but it Very important information about litecoin (LTC) on: September 09, 2017, 03:53:36 AM
I do not get this thread. Where is the very important info. Has anything really changed with LTC, it seems the same. It had its day and that day has passed. There is nothing that is going to revive it and there is nothing that can completely kill it, just because it is a nice exchange device for some places when the BTC minimum is not being met.
3324  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you share your secrets and research findings??? on: September 09, 2017, 03:19:35 AM
I share all information with my very close friends. I never had secret info anyways. It is all about market findings, forum/slack research and whitepapers. They also share their opinions with me. And I think its more healthy this way. Communications makes you do patient moves.

We invest for our clients and that is something that is more of a timing thing versus a information thing, but we do not specifically tell anyone when things are changing. Sharing information is always good for yourself and others too, if you look it in a positive way and do not be a selfish.
3325  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: legit bitcoin mining hardware company websites on: September 09, 2017, 03:06:47 AM
Hi Guys!

I'm new to this forum, I don't know if i can post this but, just wanted to ask about the legit bitcoin mining hardware company websites (list), just for research purpose for my boss, apparently my boss, has a factory size premises located in china and want to start a bitcoin mining there, it can place up to 6000 mining hardware unit and they want to fully equip the facility, I also googled the kinds / company / brands of mining hardware but as I read inside this forum in hardware section, I found out that there are also scam sites, so I just want to avoid reporting scam sites as this is a waste of time and money.

please guys help me out  Wink Grin Cheesy

Depends on where you are and what you are going to start with. I would personally hit the local classifieds and Craigslist and start with a few cheap used machines. There are loads of people that tried their hand at mining and realized that there was no way they were going to profit and now they have these barely used machines and would like to get some money back out of them. Before you see the outcome and the returns, try going that route and see what happens.
3326  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin has enemy (except altcoin) what is it? on: September 04, 2017, 05:21:39 PM
Just itself. Its popularity makes it one of the most highly priced Commodities on the planet that makes it difficult to work its way into normal Commerce. You have to go down so many decimal points that it gets confusing for most people and prices rising so quickly that by the time you leave the house your Bitcoin going to be worth $10 more for you get to the store.
3327  Economy / Economics / Re: Btc and government, what does the future holds? on: September 04, 2017, 03:59:56 PM
Once the government realizes it could benefit from it, it will certainly try to get it's fingers into honeypot. How exactly will it be done remains to be seen.
Exactly. This is what I too think. If the government finds out that BTC is going to be profitable for them, then there is no point denying Bitcoin and BTC. It will for sure take some time, but you can expect BTC playing a major role in Country’s economy.

The problem is that governments are not dump and they have already figured it out that bitcoin cannot be controlled by them and no taxes can be applied on it. Thats the reason they are not encouraging people to transits in bitcoins and convert their local currency into bitcoins. If you ask me, i will suggest governments to take both their local currency and bitcoins side by side as there is no way they can deny or stop people from using bitcoins.
3328  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as Ransom on: September 04, 2017, 02:32:41 PM
What if you had, let's say....5000 Bitcoins in your custody and suddenly someone demanded it as a ransom in exchange for someone very important to you, would you make the exchange?

When it comes to kidnapping, it's a matter of life and death and this is something I don't toy with but from where I come from, I don't think anybody can kidnap and then ask for bitcoin becuase I doubt if they know what bitcoin is all about and how functional it could be of they are to ask for it. If I have the amount, I would pay for a loved one.

Everything is digital and bitcoin can be used as Ransom as it happened a few months back when a few people introduced a virus which locks the computer and ask for some money in the form of bitcoin and those who paid, on their computer was unlocked.

That Virus was named as "Ransomeware" and it was the first virus of its type which really attacked the whole world and even the world biggest multinationals we not saved from this. No one would have though this could have happened and those who made this and got a lot of bitcoin from this, remained anonymous as all the transactions were in bitcoins and no intelligence agency can track them or sue them.
3329  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: New and good 1 Sat POS Coins with good teams on: September 04, 2017, 02:08:55 PM
I'm looking for the next RAIN coin, something worth buying a lot of.  If you go to Novaexchange or Yobit you see a lot of 1 Sat coins but its hard to know which ones are new with good sincere teams.    Linda was an example that they're still popping up.

You've got to research your coins, most probably no one is going to tell you hey here's a cheap coin that will explode in the next week, buy it. Try checking the ANN threads, slack or telegram channels, assess the coin and don't invest too much on it. You're most likely not going to win on all of them but if you win on 1 and lose on 9 you'll probably still win overall.

Depends on what you're going to do. This is the last you're going to have to put together for yourself because you're the only one who knows what you consider good criteria for a coin. You could use a couple of different size to combine the information together and you will pretty much have a list within an hour matter of whittling it down.
3330  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Exchanges where i can buy/sell most currencies directly on: September 04, 2017, 09:11:32 AM
Hey guys ,

Is there any exchange when i can buy/sell most coins directly. (100+)

I don;t mean trading with buy/sell orders . I mean an exchange where i get the buy/sell price for each coin and simply click buy.

I came across poloniex but its kinda complicated with the buy/sell/stop limit etc...

I want a website like cex when i get a fixed price and i can buy/sell/exchange instantly.

Most of the time you're going to use one exchange. And there's about five to choose from you're going to end up bouncing back and forth between three or four other ones every once in a while for some of these off Market Point.

You'll get used to it after a while. And you'll end up losing money in the long run arbitrating back and forth just to grab those couple little coins that you can't get anywhere else.
3331  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining Card vs GPU Card on: September 04, 2017, 08:53:06 AM
I wouldn't even call it resale value or second hand value, just the fact that if you're not 100% sure that you want to use it for that purpose than a GPU card obviously serves many purposes. At the same time, there are people that May multi-purpose the machine and only use it for mining at certain times.
3332  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: help with calculator on: September 04, 2017, 08:09:26 AM
hi im new to mining and been looking on genesis mining.
i was thinking about just buying eth 1MH/s for $30 and when i use the calculator it says ill make my money back in 455 days
idk if i doing it wrong could someone help me im stuck

I was going to follow through and take a look but it actually sounds right. I would say that 455 days might be a little short. 1 meg is pretty much nothing. I play around with an old laptop sometimes and nearly hit that without any sort of GPU or anything. Most PCS straight out of Walmart should be able to hit anywhere from 5 to 50 without any special Hardware or configuration.
3333  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Create a Waves Platform Wallet.Lease your Tokens and get Rewarded.Trade on DEX. on: September 04, 2017, 07:17:14 AM
This is a lot of information, so let me ask you this. Most people understand how to lease their coins. Until I can see this thread on a PC and not my phone, are you or your site or company offering and incentive above and beyond the revenue this generated for leasing your coins or is this simply an informative thread to help people understand that concept?
3334  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Now ETH is going down to the dip. You SOLD or HOLD? on: September 04, 2017, 04:46:35 AM
I would say the 20 most popular coin' beneath Bitcoin, when it comes to the past 6 months half of those have been riding Out on Just sheer energy alone. Now I'm comes time when a lot of this drama is in the past and for a new person coming into the investment Arena, they don't see anything is going to have been around for awhile that makes them want to get involved.
3335  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What if all coins disappear?? on: September 03, 2017, 09:22:40 PM
I guess the main question would be why they disappeared and how quickly it happened. If they were just magically not be there, then there would probably be a major upheaval of the entire cryptocurrency world. I'm going to assume that all of the exchanges have at least 50% of their liquid coins in something besides Bitcoin although I could be wrong.

So each of those exchanges lost something like half of their equity, in addition to that all of these users that have coins outside of Bitcoin just lost. I guess it's the same as asking what would happen if you took away 50% of the stock markets assets. Pretty much fun of those things it would be impossible to predict.
3336  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Security of a certain wallet. on: September 03, 2017, 09:10:11 PM
Actually I'm little curious if my bitcoin in my wallet I currently use is safe, since we don't have the private key and it is an online wallet I kinda doubt the security of this wallet. The wallet is famous in my country because we can use the wallet to withdraw instantly and convert bitcoin into our standard currency. My question is, is there a possibility that our bitcoin be stolen or the online wallet be close?

It's up to you what you trust and don't trust you. Any of these sites could take off any minute with all of your money. If you believe that you are getting information from my group that you trust in your country by all means continue what you doing otherwise keep your money in a software wallet on your computer at home.
3337  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Hits Record $5,000 Traders Initiate Sell-Off as Price Drops $400 on: September 03, 2017, 08:42:38 PM
Stabilized right after that it was just a brief shoot up, and It'll be right back there after no time at all. There's no reason to freak out about these things they're going to make it there they're going to come back down a little bit and I guarantee you that it'll be $10,000 or more by the end of the year.
3338  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the 3 thing you look for in an ICO? on: September 03, 2017, 04:23:26 PM
This has actually changed as time has gone bad. The big thing that I used to look for was the idea, the way that idea was presented, and at least some semblance of a plan to achieve that. But, so many of these over the past year have had a great idea, have had a great plan, and then once the money was raised poof they were gone.

I think few people thought ICO as Some of this was stealing, but I actually think that the biggest culprit is the fact that once you have to put your hands on that plan and make it happen it becomes so much more difficult and overwhelming. So these days, I still want a good plan, I still want a good idea, but I would love to have some of that plan already worked on and some of that technology already happening,
3339  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Most Cryptocurrencies Doomed to Collapse — because they’re “ICO-issued”? on: September 03, 2017, 04:02:25 PM
He's not 100% right that a coin will fail if it's based off of through an ico. There's a bunch of coins that already made at least 50 times their value and they began with an ico.

I think that all it takes if for a single coin to launch without an ico to get up the rankings and double the money that they have at least a hundred times or so then more coins will begin to launch coins without an ico with the same amount of hopes that it will have as much success as the previous one had.

I don't think that has much to do with it. They've actually only made themselves Treadway popular in the past year-and-a-half. There have been brand new coins and brand new projects in cryptocurrency released since 2011. I think it's the same basic criteria that gets both of those.
