2801  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Buying goods or services using crypto on: March 16, 2019, 06:17:08 AM
if you want to hold other coins other than ETH and BTC, maybe XRP, XLM and BCH can be the next alternative, ADA also should not be missed if you want, and the four coins above are the best coins that I hold up to now,

ADA has already starting going up and it is a good coin for long term. You can hold any coin at this time because all the coins are very low from their highs and every coin will perform well in the next bull run. If the bitcoin remains stable at current price, we can see a mini bull run in altcoins prices.
2802  Economy / Speculation / Re: Samsung Galaxy S10 Crypto Offering A bullish sign? on: March 11, 2019, 03:51:54 PM
If we are talking about a immediate pump on the price then I would say no, but if we consider that many crypto will slowly used this feature in their smart phone or even wanted to test it out, then will need to buy bitcoin.

And then there are those non-crypto we might turn out to be investors or holders as well, so in the long term if might have swayed a few but I don't think it is the needed catalyst for a bull run though.

The keyword here is 'not immediate', so we really don't know what the effect in the market right now. But since they're going to release in the bearish market, we might see some little push though but not going to be the triggering factor for a bull-run.

Samsung has like 30% of the smart phones market globally though, but I don't think that people will just buy this phone because of its embedded crypto wallets, so it's a long way to go before we can really assess if this move from Samsung will do more good in crypto sphere.

Most buyers of that expensive would probably not mind the feature anyways. And though it's good to see these kinds of features for crypto being integrated by large companies like samsung, you're right that it'll likely have at best  little push. I doubt it can start what everyone's hoping for.

I think many people do not know about this S10 feature. Samsung has a big market already and their new model will be sold massively as per their previous S series model.  Many people will buy this phone because they love to buy latest model of their brand and they will never use that crypto feature being introduced in this phone.
2803  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin 2020 Halving on: March 10, 2019, 05:02:00 PM
85% of all Bitcoins will have already be mined by the time of the halving. How do you think Bitcoins 2020 halving will affect its price?

The price will, in the next few months start to climb slowly until the halving. A few months after the halving we’ll have an epic bull run which has happened shortly after every halving we’ve had so far.

i agree with the first part. we will see a rise from now until the halving because that is the nature of bitcoin which always rises and so far we had more than a year of drop which is more than enough and it can not go on forever. so there is no other option but to rise.

but i think you are wrong about the second part, we have always seen the "big bull runs" BEFORE the halving not AFTER it. the thing we see afterwards is the continuation of that growth that i said before, the natural growth that will be sped up by then.

The good thing about the halving is that the price rise before the halving and it keep on moving up even after the halving. (There will be correction all the way ofcourse)
Just like previous halving, we will see a strong bitcoin price rise and this time it may cross 100,000$.
2804  Economy / Speculation / Re: 'Bitcoin will run up to $5,000 by May' on: March 10, 2019, 04:43:34 PM
it is true that the price of bitcoin can break at $ 5,000 in May, but all possibilities can still occur. because it's very difficult to predict the ever-changing price of bitcoin.
but when viewed from the trend, now the price of bitcoin is slowly recovering, and I can only hope this is a possibility that can happen.

I am expecting bitcoin price to move to 5000$ in April. But this will not mean that this will be start of bull market. After reaching 5000$ it can dump back to 3000$ again and then pull back from there.  If this happens, this will be the final dump before we see the real bull market.

As per many experts says that bitcoin has to go below 3000$ before the bear market is fully over. This predication is based upon Technical Analysis.
2805  Economy / Marketplace / Re: $1 Billion Dollar’s Worth of Cryptocurrency Stolen in 2018 on: March 10, 2019, 12:24:59 PM
Someone said it’s as a result of crypto founders /devs being inexperienced. Uuhm in a way, that is right, but sometimes, we the users are also making the mistakes.

There are scammers out there, a lot of them, and some of us are so careless that they can’t even make a good research before investing their money in any exchange, ICO or whatever it is, they just carelessly invest their money without minding and at the end the scammers will make away with it.

No matter how secure we develop our systems, hacker and scammer will always exists and will exploit any loop hole in the system. Even the exchanges themselves do scams and run away with people money.
Being an individual it is our responsibility  to follow every principle of security and use all the security measures like 2fa, strong passwords etc.

Also I think that his number of stolen crypto will increase as more and more people will come to this industry, so more the chances of hackers to hack people money who are careless with their efforts and accounts.
2806  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: McAfee is crypto man of the year on: March 10, 2019, 11:21:45 AM

Actually the words from the famous people and celebratory are always famous and whatever they say will be listen and heard by many. This is the reason that their words and acts are taken as important in the society.
Although John McAfee perditions are useless but still people listen to them and react on them.
2807  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Trading, campaigns, gambling or mining? on: March 10, 2019, 06:20:16 AM
Trading and signature campaigns are the best when we compare them with gambling and mining. As we know that gambling require a lot of luck which it's so risky field to get some profit, personally I don't consider it like a source of profit.

Mining was dying in those days, It's hard to get profit from that because the difficulties are so high and the prices now are too low, so I think people should invest a lot to get some profit that is not so high.
I choose to trade, because it's so good field to get a profit, it's better than gambling, because we are not talking here about somthing that based in pure luck, but we talk also about knowledge and how you can review the market, which it require a high background.

Well it just depends upon what you like to do. Even Trading and Signature campaigns are not worth these days. Trading in bear market is not an easy task and not everyone can do profitable trading these days. There are many ICOs these days but only few projects are worth it and therefore many times we getting nothing out of signature campaigns as the coins do not make it to the exchanges.
2808  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO scammers, Sell your uploaded KYC ID documents, adress for a lot of money. on: March 10, 2019, 05:50:35 AM
I never did an ico kyc.. Come on, maybe you could send an ID card or a passport, but who stupid send selfie?  I think this seller is a cheater. or any other possibility that's more likely; This vendor is the employee of an exchange. He hacked a   Exchange KYC datas....

People send everything to the ICO sites which includes ID card, passport and a selfie holding the NIC etc.  The ICO sites has so many real Identities which can be misused. Even they can verify their accounts at exchanges and other site using these IDs.

We should be very careful when submitting our real documents to such sites. The best option is to watermark a logo on our docs/pics stating "Only for this <Site Name>" etc so it cannot be used at other sites.
2809  Economy / Marketplace / Re: can bitcoin in the future surpass gold? on: March 09, 2019, 03:52:52 PM
Gold and Bitcoin are totally different from each other, when we come into stock market definitely gold have its great value but if we go into digital world, Bitcoin have its crown. There is no need to have their comparison, yet they have different in purpose and so they can be used separately cause gold isn't a kind of currency we used to buy stuffs and even pay services unlike of Bitcoin.
Gold and bitcoin has no similarity and hence cannot be compared. But if you want to ask which is more valuable, then I think bitcoin will be more valuable and precious in future. I would suggest everyone to collect the bitcoins and keep them save for few years. It can give massive return before 2022 or even before.
2810  Economy / Speculation / Re: Many cryptocurrency players have gone bankrupt on: March 09, 2019, 01:18:43 PM
Many of them went bankrupt because they could not choose a good coin, many also bought only because they wanted a high increase regardless of the quality of the coins they bought, and when the market went down the coin coin would go down even further, ending in cut loss. So the suggestion is that I buy coins that have a clear project.

Even if they choose good coins, they are still at loss. Nobody thought that bitcoin and altcoins could have come so down as they are now. No one would have thought that we could drop from 800,000,000,000 $ market cap to 134,330,682,461$ market. In such a big collapse almost everyone would experience a loss.
2811  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Hodler, you motherfucker. on: March 09, 2019, 01:04:59 PM
Everyone have their own opinion and you don't need to insult them for it, this is a free market the last I checked and anyone can do whatever he/she want to do, if a user of the community decides to hodl, I don't think it's good for you to discourage them in what they believe, and it's not also good for them to discourage you from what you believe.

If you think trading is better than hodling then trade those who believe hodling is better would hodl that's how things work here.

Holding and trading both are not 100% perfect and we cannot say that one is better than the other. Trading is for the experienced person who know who to gain money from trading. Holding can be done by anyone as he just have to buy the coins and hold them for long period and gain benefit from it. The important thing in holding is to hold only those coins which have strong projects behind them and have good position in coin market cap.
2812  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Too many exchanges? on: March 09, 2019, 12:50:17 PM
We are seeing more and more exchanges nowadays. Is it beneficial to the community if we have more of these? What do you think are the benefits and/or the negative impact on having too many exchanges?

I think the more the exchanges we see everyday, the more healthy will be the competition between the exchanges which will actually help the traders or you can say it will be more beneficial for the traders. The only thing to worry is that some people might open exchanges to get the deposits of people and run away with them. We should be careful and do not invest more in new exchanges.
2813  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading without losses? on: March 09, 2019, 12:37:47 PM
This topic has become a set of phraseological and philosophical thoughts on the fact that it is impossible to trade without loss.
But reading is still interesting  Grin
But everyone saying that in their own way,so it might be interesting to hear different stories. Grin

I will say directly it is possible just by yourself don't trade when are going to meet any loss.

The main thing here is that even if you are at a loss in trading it can be recovered easily if you hold. Just hold you coins and do not sell in loss, this way one day the coins will regain their value and there will be no loss for you. But if you see that you are at loss and you sold your coins in the loss, then this loss is not recoverable.
2814  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sometimes enough is enough on: March 09, 2019, 08:31:16 AM
That's true but we shouldn't also forget that having the zeal to gamble is more than what we see physically. It is also scientific. I mean, gambling deals with brain activities and so when people get addicted, it's very difficult for them to gain control over it.

When you are addicted to gambling you will listen to your heart and keep on playing more and more as per your wish.  You will not listen to your mind and maybe totally blind to see the bad effects of addiction.

No matter how we struggle through hard times, we still be able to smile from it. But the fact that you are forcing to fit in yourself to your friends where they spend lots of money is not really a good way to be noticed. If that's what you wanted, despite playing gambling, you should also know the consequences and the risk of what you are doing. Gambling is not for everyone because most people look at it as a source of entertainment.
Don’t be like your friends if you can’t afford to be like them tobecause you will just suffer later on if you continue to pretend that you still have the money. When you lose already know how to stop, enough is enough and stop playing if you already generate profit or you lose big money. Gambling is really not for everyone, it should only be applicable to those who can afford the risk and afford to waste money.
Gambling can be used for fun purpose by everyone but the poor who want to get rich in real quick are betting with lended money and ends up losing the bets which makes their life worse,so anyone can gambling but this is not a platform to earn money,if you want earn money act smart and hard don't depend on your luck.

Gambling for fun is only for the rich people. Those who are poor or belong to mid families, they cannot afford to lose so much money on the account of fun only.
2815  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: For those thinking some bets are safe, read this on: March 09, 2019, 08:20:48 AM
Pretty much reminds me of this:
https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/1npmaq/highroller_loses_800k_with_allin_bet_on_justdice/

The guy "f*ckit" was betting 7016BTC with a win rate of 96.2%, so most of his rolls should of been a winner, basically out of 100 rolls, only 4 losses and he assumed it was safe and lost it all.

He seems like a long time early adopter because looking at his reaction he didn't really seem to care that much.

Using higher percentage like 96% or even more is a very bad strategy if we intend to do it in the long term. For sure it will give a higher chance to win with such percent, but once we got the loss one, we need to put higher bet to chase our previous loss and if prefer to chase it with flat betting, it would need some wins to make it even, let alone profit. Higher win of chance would be better if we use it only once or twice and then leave the game.

I am never in favor of betting with higher percentages. Those who do it are only greedy person who see big amount of money in case of win. But in reality if you bit with higher percentages, you will lose only and the chances of win are very tiny.
2816  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How gambling sites can cheat you on: March 09, 2019, 07:30:01 AM
Thanks for reminding us. That is why whenever I do register on their website and password was needed to log in, I do have a doubt on them. Some new gambling website are also suspicious to me so, I did not deposit high amount of bitcoin in case that scenario you mentioned will happen.
Anyhow, I do advice to just trust the established and old gaming sites rather than risking your funds in some new casinos.

Its always been advised here that new gambling sites are subject to scam and should not be used at the launch of such sites. With the passage of time, if there is no complain noticed about the site, then we can deposit some money there to test and play gambling there. Feedback matters most and we should only gamble on the sites whom feedback is good and positive.
2817  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Gambling addiction a disease? on: March 09, 2019, 07:08:35 AM
Yes gambling addiction is considered a disease and needs help if it's truly impacting your overall life, There are many organizations or help groups for those affected by it "gambling-anonymous".

We need to change the habit and should not get overexcited over things. If we keep gambling in limits and do not indulged in it more than we can afford, it will be a healthy activity.

to ban something does not work. even in prisons are the drugs for example.
think it should be classified as a disease, such as alcoholism, and that there should be support to get.

Gambling cannot be related to drugs. A gambler cannot harm anyone. Even if he loses, he will harm himself only. On the other hand, a drug person can harm anyone like driving in drinking can be harmful etc.
2818  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling - A Game of Luck or Strategy on: March 09, 2019, 04:49:43 AM
Gambling is a game of luck and I don't see anything strategies in it.
-snip-
I tend to agree with such statement.
There is no strategies when it comes to chance based games. Notion of strategy existence in gambling, can give us false understanding and unrealistic sense of security. Gambling technique or systems can be considered true but not tactics nor strategy is adequate here. Most of the time it all comes to "try and error" - pure luck, adding extra ideology to it is potentially dangerous and can bring unnecessary losses.

Although gambling is a luck based game yet people try to find the Strategy in it. Even I feel astonished to find so many video on how to apply certain Strategy to win in gambling. All these videos are made only to gain views and none of them work perfectly to grantee a win in gambling.
2819  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Newbie in crypto trading on: March 06, 2019, 04:08:48 PM
Hello. I need I suggestion, because I just started trading.
I have a 20 ETC, and I want to trade it, can you suggest me for what to trade it. Maybe even to just hold it?
BTW I have 0.5 ETH. And 200 ELLA, and 100 PIRL(I know that ELLA and PIRL are nothing now, just hodling it.)

Also I want to invest 200$ in crypto right now so you can suggest me something for that too.

PS: I know that this is a Bitcoin forum but I really want to hear oppinion from someone who has experience in crypto world.

If you want a sure token to trade with, it is much good and better to choose on the top 20 altcoins at the coinmarketcap.
With this you are sure taking home profit due to the market most of the time that belongs to top 20 are anyhow aggressive according to
the actual chart graph in the platform exchange.

Since a newbie is not so experienced and cannot analysis the charts properly, buying from the  top 20 altcoins  is always a save move from him. The other thing he need to learn is to hold the coins and do not panic if the price goes down. So even if the price dump from his buying, being in top 20 means that coins will recover someday and there will be no loss if he does not sell in loss.
2820  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: small gains but cant make it big on: March 06, 2019, 03:34:37 PM
The best way for you to make it big is to start with big amount for trading, I would advise you to begin with one btc for trading and that should be able to give you between $250 - $500 daily if you play your cards right.

Just watch the market and learn to switch between coins quickly, also learn to pull out with little profit because you don't know how the next minute is going to be like. If you do this well, I can guarantee you of making a profit of about 10% of the 1 btc you invested daily, it's even possible to earn more.

This is not a good advise to invest big amount to get good returns from trading. I have seen many examples where people invest 1 btc or more and they lost their amount due to unable to buy and sell at the ideal time. Also if one is new to trading and market is bear, then it is extremely difficult to get profit daily from the trades.
