2017 has being one of the phenomenal years for the people who had stayed invested till the last. It has given some of the unexpected rise during the last couple of months in 2017. Though the start of Jan 2018 was good the market kept moving up but during the later half the market started to sin and back to 10k levels at present.
How do you predict the 2018 year to be for bitcoin. Will it rise back like 2017 and if yes than what could lead to those rise and if no than what factors could be accounted for the downfall?
At present, it seems 2017 was the best year of bitcoin but we can never say anything with surety. There are still 8 - 9 months left in this year and we never know how high bitcoin can go from here. Its seems as if it will not reach the highest point but since bitcoin is volatile , it can go anywhere. |

Its not that all people are afraid of bitcoin and they don't believe in bitcoins. Its just the current market situation which is causing the people to lift their trust and interest in crypto field. People do not like falling prices and FUD about the currency.
I think We need to tell people that Bitcoin has good and bad days and it is a currency which cant always move in positive trend.

It won't hit the deck. Even if bitcoin's value now is falling (merely because of the negative issues being done by mainstream media) i think it will bounce back.. Yet, no one can actually tell when will it happen but im pretty sure it wont go to zero.. Maybe if we could here some positive feedbacks from the countries, it will somewhat bring back bitcoins value to the a higher position..
Yes, it can never go to zero in value. I would rather say, it can't even touch 5000$ due to interest of people in bitcoins. One thing we all should realize by now that bitcoin is the future money so no matter what FUD is spreading and destroying the price, it will eventually rise back and will reach its top again. |

However, considering the fact that the media exist to inform, educate, mobilize and enlighten societies, which other vehicles or means could best serve the purpose of setting agender on a phenomenon as important as the rising prominence of crypto currency?
Social media is already playing a great role in spreading the bitcoin among the people. What we are lacking here is the TV media or you can says ads and documentary of bitcoins on TV. If one can start this campaign on national TV of all the nations bitcoin can spread very fast and in much less time. |

What is your target on Bitcoin when the price rise to $20000?
For me 20000$ is still low price , why would i sell my bitcoin on this price when i know it will increase more . So i keep holding until the price reach 50k or even more. I believe it will reach more in next year may it can touch 100k. It is really not a wise decision to cash out at 20K. |

So we're blaming senior members now for the merit system?  Take a look at most of the threads and see for yourself who's actually doing the "shitposting". Also, most newcomers here ain't following anyone. They follow the money from bounty campaigns. Honestly, the only people I see complaining about the new merit system are the people who don't know crap about bitcoin or cryptocurrencies in general for them to actually be rewarded by merits. -oops.No, It is not related to Senior or Junior Members. It is related to anyone who posted shit posts just to get his rank improve or to get paid from the signature campaigns. I just created an account last month, wich mean I'm the beginner too. When I made this account, for truth, first word comes to my mind is how to join bounty campaign and get free coin, because all of sources that I red are told about it. You will not get any BTC campaign because you are a Newbie. You can search in altcoin sections where some few altcoin campaigns give bounties to the Newbie. Yet you will not be paid much and it not worth the time. A better advise is to word hard go through the forum and give quality posts and get your rank increase. Once that isdone, you can join any Signature campaigns. |

Well i am not looking to sell my all bitcoins.Yes its true the price is increase but i don't want to be greedy. Instead of selling all my coins i like to sell some of it or whenever i want some money like in emergency cases. I can sell my all coins but i don't to be regret in future.So its better to hold it and sell some amounts only in need basis and save the rest. |

Like Twitter, PBC, coindesk articles, etc. Always looking for new sources for research For me Social media is the only source of getting information for bitcoins. Since our media not showing their interest to give info about crypto currency. I saw large amount of people discussion about bitcoin in Facebook, twitter and spreading information on YouTube with videos. Reddit is the most famous site where i get all information in just few keywords click and always look for info before investment. |

I think it will get banned because no government will want to get disturbed by external currency or third party currency. They will never want their traditional currency to be dissolved just because of bitcoin or other coins due to it's high rates. There is difference in them and bitcoin might get troubles, a lot of trouble when it will come as currency to trade in the real life. The first thing is, it's decentralised and price of which would be fluctuating as always. This will lead o chaos when we will buy or sell stuff for it, as the rates wouldn't be fixed we may need to pay more or less all the time.
That's also what I was thinking. Bitcoin has no chance against the major currencies as governments will never let it happen.\ There is no way that the government will give up on the ability to be able to control the inflation, and to regulate it's currency. The whole market goes up at the moment because regulators hasn't touched bitcoin yet, but once they will, it's going to be an huge mess for bitcoin and it's hard to know how low the total market cap could reach. Leave the government. They will never let it happen but see the investments in the bitcoins and altcoins and the overall interest of people and the total marketcap. If this trend goes on , all the fiat will go into alts and fiat will eventually be finished if all people willing to use digital currency and they buy bitcoins/altcoins with fiat. |

I'd like to chose trade because investment required long term and enough patience if you're good in both you can easily chose investing. Let me clear that Investing also risk of losing your money so if you want to take your chance feel free to invest on the other hand, trade is much easy and risk free. You can just earn benefit but you never lose in trading if you never sell in loss. .Alt coins are best for trade i myself chose alt to do trading. |

You should accept your job and work with crypto as side income. Probably in order to start working with crypto you have to invest no matter where you start you have to put your money into it. So the question is where you got the money ? Of course you have to do a job to make money and for investing in crypto. I'd like to add more. Its depends on you, How you mange your investment. You have to be smart enough and containing high experience to earn profit from your investments. You can't put your all money in investments, you have to start with low and learn how its work and where are you after increasing your knowledge, only then you can invest more. For me bitcoin is a great source of investment and earning but you have to work with honesty and hard working.

The thing which impressive me a lot is its price which increase rapidly. I know sometime it fall down but when it about to increase it break all records. Some forks appeared and damage the price but bitcoin is just a GOD gifted which recover soon and cover its price. There's more possibility of increasing bitcoin's price in future.

Pretty sure STRAT is going to rise big in 2018.
Would be VERY surprised if it not hits the 10$ mark.
STRAT has a great potential and i can smell it will give us surprise in 2018. The current value of Strat is quite low and if you are altcoin buyer and trader, i will suggest to buy more of start now cheaply. You will surely be happy with your decision as price may be four to five times by then. This is one of my favorite altcoin as i really like this project. |

Yes many people buy bitcoin or any other coins with their own money. People who have extra money or fan of investment will buy this if they know they can profit. I'm buying too with my own money but i can't buy more due to lack of funds.
In the past people use to buy Gold or diamond with their extra money and kept them save for future use. Now a days, people invest in bitcoins and altcoins as they have become more profitable and more valuable than bitcoins. I have seen people still saving gold but these are those people who have not heard about bitcoins yet. |
