2981  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the problem of trust in projects? on: December 26, 2018, 03:36:02 PM
Crypto market goes to down, basically BTC and ETH goes to huge down.so no have any ways can be successfully ico. Actually ICO platform depends on BTC and ETH invest in my opinion.
If we do not invest any ICO then how it will successful?so now this time every ICO going to scam and ICO failed.
many ICOs ended in failure, most of them chose to postpone a lot of things and included the main sales stage, this is very regrettable because if the marketing stage is postponed it looks unattractive to investors.

The decline in trust is based on unexpected crypto values, preferably next year all ICOs use stable coin payments to reinforce the situation ...

The reason of overall failure of ico is that the team collects the funds before they actually start working on the project and milestones. Once you get the money, the team does not focus on remaining development of the project and tend to leave the project as they already got the handsome amount through conducting the ICO.
2982  Economy / Economics / Re: Each country has its own crypto currency! on: December 25, 2018, 03:56:23 PM
Basically to deal this matter the more wealth the country the more have a chance to take the lead. Wealth and richness and power and community is power to make its own crypto demanding and very useful in more services in daily basis. The government is the key to implement this idea but of course the there will have a serious discussion to passed this agenda.

Well I think governments will take this step soon. They will have no option left but to develop their own digital currency in order to control it. If they do not do so, people will keep on investing in bitcoins and govt. will have no control of the currency.
2983  Economy / Economics / Re: What will you do in 2030? on: December 25, 2018, 03:51:28 PM
Well hope I would make my own business

I also have a plan of doing my business. I hold a few bitcoins and I am hopeful to see bitcoin more than 100,000 within next 2 to 3 years. Then I will cash out bitcoins at such a high price and invest in my business which will hopefully give good returns for a longer term.
2984  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto replacing fiat? on: December 25, 2018, 03:12:44 PM
Cryptocurrency replacing fiat isn't that easy, to experience a complete usage of cryptocurrency same as the fiat it needs a large scale adoption. Compared to the previous year what we experienced by this year is a massive fall, but adoption has been taking place in a gradual manner. With this I believe, in future can experience cryptocurrency usage same as fiat but replacement won't happen.

I think some country should test this conversion from crypto to fiat. They should stop all fait transactions and ask people to deal only in crypto for some time. This will help us know the problems which people might face if there were only digital currency.
2985  Economy / Economics / Re: Central Bank of Crypto-Currency on: December 25, 2018, 03:02:40 PM
Being decentralized is the key success for Cryptocurrency. A central banking could help the widening of cryptocurrency community around the globe. Because, to use cryptocurrency knowledge is a must. With banks people can be taught about it and the same can serve as a service center rather than a banking space.
No bank is needed for digital currency. Wallets like coinbase are already acting as a bank for the digital currency. Now they also have a vast range of altcoins listed at coinbase making people to store their coins at coinbase and not on exchanges. With all these developments there is no need for a tradional  bank for bitcoins.
2986  Economy / Economics / Re: welcome bulls , Bye bears on: December 25, 2018, 02:52:13 PM
I still don't expect that the price increase last week was Bull Run, because at the moment the price of Bitcoin has fallen from the price of $ 4000 to $ 3700, so I'm not going to rush to invest now, I'll wait until early next year.

This is a correction which was expected and also at Christmas and Year End, people tend to cash out to enjoy the holidays.  Bears are still not gone and we never know bitcoin movement from here.  I also hope next year will start with a big green candle for bitcoin.
2987  Economy / Economics / Re: A cryptocurrency with volatility can't be used as money on: December 25, 2018, 02:21:07 PM
If we take this particular example, then the same can be said about any other currency. You buy an apartment for US dollars, but this doesn't guarantee you that in a few years this apartment will not lose in value, even if the dollar has lost in value. That is, this example absolutely doesn't show how unreliable  purchase is in bitcoins.

The price of an apartment or US dollars do go up and down but this ratio is very less. Bitcoin on the other hand moves 10 percent up and down within a single day and this is certainly not favorable for anyone doing business as money he got in the morning may be will 5-10% down in the evening and all the budget and planning is disturbed.
2988  Economy / Economics / Re: What should I choose on: December 25, 2018, 02:09:55 PM
At this market condition I would choose the number one choice. This is to start investment in small amount in crypto because now is the best time to buy the potential altcoins which is belong in the top altcoins in coinmarketcap. Remember don't put all of your money in crypto investment. Better to try it if it will works or not.

Good to see you making a right decision. Bitcoin is at very low price now along with all the good altcoins. So if anyone want to get profit from it, this is the best time to make a lot of money in future, if we buy bitcoins and good coins at the current price.
2989  Economy / Economics / Re: welcome bulls , Bye bears on: December 24, 2018, 04:52:01 PM
This year I didn't get that much profits only thing I did was holding my investments , I hope all my patience will pay off next year and there will be bull market and I make more profits  Grin

many investors are in same hope only ?? I would like to know what you guys think about next year,

Indeed, most people hope 2019 will be a good year for cryptocurrency market. After lossing more than 80% on market cap value, i am believe cryptomarket start to recover again. Next year many good news coming to market and i am believe if bitcoin traded on ETF or nasdaq, crypto will recover and reach highest market cap again
Yes these both are the factors which will enable the price of Bitcoin to reach to its highest value which is $20000. Besides these both we also know that ICE will start Bitcoin future on 24th January which is confirmed and which will increase the price to another ATH price.

Many good news are lined up for 2019 and I am very much confident that we will see all time high in early next year. Bears has dominated this year and I guess 2019 will be for the bulls.
2990  Economy / Speculation / Re: No, the Price of Bitcoin Didn’t Drop Because of Bomb Threats on: December 19, 2018, 03:24:50 PM
On Friday, as the Bitcoin price fell by around six percent against the U.S. dollar, several reports claimed that the dominant cryptocurrency dropped in value due to bomb threats.

One report from Business Insider Australia, for instance, stated that following an email blast of bomb threats in New York, the price of the crypto asset endured a correction.
Seriously bitcoin is something volatile and it swings to any direction quite quickly and doesn't need any reason at all. I agree that anyone who thinks bitcoin moving couple percent is newsworthy has no idea what bitcoin is. Bitcoin can move as much as 10% and still not need any reason to do so, it is one of the most common things in bitcoin history to move that much without any major thing.

It is only news worthy when something like 500+ million volume added for selling or buying, better yet it is news worthy when it moves 25%+ like it did in the past month. Hence, no need to write a topic about just couple percent moves bitcoin or any other coin makes, its in their nature because they are unregulated and they can do whatever they please without the worry of SEC coming down on them.

The current movement of bitcoin price is not news based. But the pervious dump of bitcoin from 6000 to 4000$ was purely because of the news of baktt platform being delayed and resulted in panic selling.
2991  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Whales Holding More ETH on: December 19, 2018, 03:05:16 PM
Ethereum Whales Holding More ETH

Using metrics provided by TokenAnalyst, Diar determined that whale Ethereum holdings have been increasing steadily throughout 2018 despite the extended bear market. Holdings of the top 500 whales are equivalent to 20 million ETH, slightly less than 20 percent of the total circulating supply and equaling approximately $2.3 billion.

The whales have increased their relative holdings by 80 percent since the beginning of the year, with speculation that ICO projects are exiting their native token positions as the primary driver. Analysis by both TokenAnalyst and BitMEX Research confirms that many ICOs have exited their positions, with the majority of projects selling as much ETH as they raised in USD.

As the market decline continues and Ethereum’s current price sitting at ~ $110, increasing downward pressure on ICO project runways is likely. Total whale addresses have also dropped by 30 percent since the beginning of the year. Despite this, active whales seem to be consolidating their positions as Q4 is shaping up at a 270 percent increase in net balance growth compared to Q3. An important qualifier is that 90 percent of the total $1 billion in net balance additions of 2018 came in Q1, at the height of the ICO frenzy.

What a good news for Ethereum holders. It shows that Ethereum has a future and that it is not dead because with recent big dump more and more people are talking negatively about Ethereum.

Ethereum  will be good for short and long term both. An hard fork of Ethereum is planned early next year and it will really be the price boom for eth. Even after the fork, I think Eth will regain its number 2 spot in coin market cap.
2992  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What are the most promising cryptocurrencies? on: December 19, 2018, 02:53:58 PM

2993  Economy / Economics / Re: Google is ending its sweeping ban on cryptocurrency-related advertising. on: December 19, 2018, 02:39:23 PM
Google is ending its sweeping ban on cryptocurrency-related advertising and plans to allow regulated crypto exchanges to buy ads in the United States and Japan. The new policy starts in October.

https://www.cnbc.com/2018/09/25/google-reverses-ban-on-cryptocurrency-exchange-advertising-in-us-japan.html

I think that this is a preparation for the reversal of the bitcoin price.

What do you think about it? What are the consequences of these changes?

I really hope so that they will do it because I think Google did it only to bring the price of Bitcoin go down and they now tries to take it back to make the prices go up again.

Well, if this is true then it is really good for bitcoin. When the bull run is near we see a lot of positive news and this is one of them. Lets hope the current price movement is helped by such movements and we break all the records.
2994  Economy / Economics / Re: Offline stores that accept payments using bitcoins on: December 19, 2018, 02:18:34 PM
I don't have a business that accepts bitcoin payments. But in my city there are several places that accept payment with bitcoin. Like in my city there is a car rental that can pay with bitcoin, besides that there is one supermarket that can make payments with bitcoin. In my area bitcoin has been used to receive payments and I see some people have started using bitcoin as a payment tool. And I am sure that in other countries there have also been many shops that accept payments with bitcoin.

There are no stores or services which accept bitcoin as many lack  infrastructure of 24/7 availability of internet and maybe lack of knowledge of general public, which does not encourage merchants and shops to accept bitcoins. Also in many places bitcoin is illegal and cannot be used openly in the markets for payment method.
2995  Economy / Economics / Re: welcome bulls , Bye bears on: December 19, 2018, 02:02:06 PM
I can see the bulls coming to the market and the bear are starting to leave the community.
Its been a while since we saw the bulls coming. we can now rest and wait for the big pump.
I am thankful that i am done collecting coins and tokens.
There is a small recovery going on in the market at the moment but I cannot say that this is a clear sign the bulls are back and that the bears have left the market, the bears are going to try to influence the market by trying to short bitcoin and selling their coins and since many people left the market it is unlikely a bull market can be sustained.

Its always been a fight between bull and the bears. The bears are dominating the market for many months now and I think they have no more room left in the market. The option is now that bull will now enter the market and take over this bear trend. Also we have some good projects / news lined up for 2019, which will help bitcoin rise more.
2996  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin need a miracle on: December 19, 2018, 01:34:45 PM
Bitcoin is a currency that works with demands and supply. The only miracle is to have a good demand for it so that the price increase

How will the demand of bitcoin will increase ?  Well, when bitcoin reaches to more public and when people buy and sell goods using bitcoins, only then will the demand will increase. Since total circulation of Bitcoins are limited, it price will rise high quickly on high demand.
2997  Economy / Economics / Re: Mistakes That Make You Poor Poor In Cryptocurrency on: December 19, 2018, 01:24:05 PM
Also:
- Not understanding the basic market rules. If you buy a scam token with no orders it's gonna end very bad.

but Ico's success can also suffer losses due to overall corrections now many are experiencing asset losses when crypto falls free at its lowest point in a year.
ICOs have been the targets of the loss the people in the crypto market have incurred. Millions of dollars invested in ICO have resulted into nothing and this is why it is normally suggested not to invest in ICOs.

In 2017, I saw many good ICO and many of my friends including me invested in them and were rewarded good. But then the ICO trends become a means to scam people and most of the coins never made to the exchanges. That's the main reason why people are no longer interested in ICO.
2998  Economy / Economics / Re: When will Apple accept bitcoins? on: December 19, 2018, 01:10:52 PM
It can be achieved in 2019. This is my personal opinion. I think many commercial giants are now developing their own cryptocurrency. This is the future of mankind. You don't have to worry about companies like Apple having an impact on cryptocurrencies. Please note that there are political factors.

Apply and many other giants companies will accept bitcoin when they will see their competitors are accepting it and by not accepting bitcoin as a payment method they could lose good quantity of orders. So they will have no option but to accept bitcoins.
2999  Economy / Economics / Re: Bulls are Retarded on: December 19, 2018, 12:44:09 PM
today is bull run?

Today is not bull run. Even though we see market to be green today and mostly coins over 10% pumped but still it is very early to say that bull market has started. For the last 5 weeks, bear market dominated and only this week we are seeing some reversal movements.
3000  Economy / Economics / Re: Visa card network crashes on: December 19, 2018, 12:32:28 PM
This failures are normal. Even with the fiat system, the banks do have there own issues coming from network failures and congestion. Cryptos also have the hacking problems from personal wallet to exchanges.

Maybe since wr dont know the real reason.Of course the spokesman will say good words as he speak. I read somewhete that  credit card debt payment is declining,  hope crypto is not the culprit Cheesy But if these financial institution fails, crypto had great role to pla.

At the back end of credit / debit cards are the fiat currency and it is never been the true digital mode of payment. Bitcoin will eventually replace all these cards and banks and will introduce truly digital financial system.
