361  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Are all exchange going to Alive in near future? on: November 25, 2019, 06:19:14 PM
Yes, as hard as it might be to believe, there are almost 5000 Cryptocurrencies in existence in Coinmarketcap but you have to know that the majority of them are almost dead and are just hanging on by a tiny thread, I know several projects that has already exited scam but are still listed on CMC, j also remember reading an article recently about 2000 ICO projects studied from 2018 and about 600 of them has not written a single line of code since their ICO, these ones are heading to the trash can soon and other new ones would likely replace them and the circle of shitcoin continues.
362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Listed exchange matters on: November 25, 2019, 06:14:49 PM
Even if it's not an IEO, good exchange always matters because an exchange would determine if the price of the token would do well, ofcourse nobody knows the exchange's that a bounty token might list in the future but the quality of a project would usually give you a clue about their standards, this is why I tend to prefer projects that has an Asian team because they tend to list in top exchanges after their sales but like we all knows those projects are very rarely conduct bounty campaigns.
363  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to control your emotions while trading?👨🏼‍💻 on: November 19, 2019, 07:47:11 AM
I have learnt that experience is still one of the best teachers and every trader, no matter how smart or how experienced would have made a mistake or two in their careers that has made them lose some money, might just be as mall money in some cases but it ended a streak which could be hurtful to the pride, what I am trying to say is that one of the best teachers is to always look at your past mistakes and it would ensure that you don't make future mistakes.
364  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade with USDT or BTC? on: November 18, 2019, 01:32:49 AM
When trading an Altcoin, j usually prefer the USDT pair except in exchanges where some Altcoins are not offered this pair and then I settle for either Bitcoin or Ethereum pairs, but on a normal day, I would always choose the USDT pair because it's far easier to track profit that way for me especially when bitcoin price is so volatile and it saves me the stress of having to convert to a stablecoin when I want to get out and wait for Bitcoin price to either go down or stabilise before j get in again.
365  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about Bitcoin and the games industry? on: November 18, 2019, 01:28:34 AM
Considering all the ICOs I saw that was claiming that they would be the first to use Cryptocurrencies as in-game rewards and not a single one of them turned out to be a reality, it's quite disappointing but I think this is just the early stage, many of these gaming giants are based in countries where Cryptocurrencies are still seen as slightly illegal and it's likely that most of them are just waiting for the government to give the green light on Cryptocurrencies and we would start seeing an improvement in that area, infact there might be a competition on who might do it first.
366  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What altcoins will give in excess of profit in a growing market? on: November 18, 2019, 01:22:30 AM
Do you know the sweet thing about Cryptocurrencies (and one reason why it's so frustrating)? It's the volatility and unpredictability, you could guess all you want, read charts all you want, do research till your eyes almost pops out and you still wouldn't be able to predict 100% which tokens would give the best returns, when the bullrun is on, it's sometimes not the best tokens with the best products that eventually rises the highest in price, sometimes it's just some unknown token that nobody even knows about and has nothing more than an active group and cute whitepaper.
367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchanges Tokens on: November 18, 2019, 01:18:23 AM
Exchanges tokens used to be an exclusive club but after what BNB and KCS did in those mad 2017 pumping days and early 2018 days where the hype was still on, so many exchanges started popping up with their own tokens and some of these exchange's were so half baked that they didn't even survive their first few months of operations, the market became saturated with exchange tokens and people came to realise that being an exchange token doesn't guarantee that it would succeed and no amount of marketing could change that, the exchange has to prove itself now and investors in it's tokens would follow.
368  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Prove that you shouldn't rely on icobench and others on: November 17, 2019, 07:23:14 AM
I never trusted ICO rating sites from day one for the simple fact that they are not even decentralised and the ratings are just done by people like me and you whose decisions can easily be influenced by money and this happens to be the case most times, although there a some reputable ones like icodrops, to be honest I basically just use it to check the ICO details and don't waste my time looking at the ratings, I do my own research.
369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's up with Ethereum? on: November 17, 2019, 07:20:13 AM
Ethereum price just reflects the market and that's the fact, when there is a bullrun, Ethereum price would move with it as well, it's just that the market is generally bad right now and the price of Ethereum reflects this, it might seem like the price is just hibernating but I think it's because the ICO tokensale model has died, who remembers the days of gas wars? This made the sales of Ethereum rise and hence the price as well, but those days are gone and I think what would make it rise higher is bullrun.
370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Red trust account users can still introduce good bounties on: November 17, 2019, 07:12:32 AM
While it's true that some red trust members could introduce good bounties and be a good contributing member in this forum, we have to understand that the red trust system was introduced for a reason and many people who got it also got it for legit reasons, ofcourse I am an optimist and I believe that people can change especially after they have been caught and got the red trust to show for it, but we still have to be careful to avoid a falling into a scam especially when the red trust serves as a glaring warning.
371  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance Plans To Onboard 180 Fiat Currencies on: November 13, 2019, 04:33:11 PM
Well, if they turn into fiat that means they can't really get out of legal things.
It is really just a fiat and they will have to deal with the governments of those nations and laws of those nations and so forth.
The fact is that many countries worldwide are just neutral when it comes to Cryptocurrencies, they just don't care about it's existence enough to pass any laws about it, since I have been in this Cryptocurrency space, there are some countries that I haven't seen participating in any projects at all and it's safe to say that if some currencies were even integrated, there would be no volume at all because the citizens do not even know that Cryptocurrencies exists talkless of trading it, I guess he is just speaking in the broad sense not because he actually expects to integrate them all into the Binance Exchange.
372  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Key players in the crypto industry on: November 13, 2019, 04:15:01 PM
Bitcoin and Ethereum would always be major players in the Cryptocurrency space no matter how things eventually turn out, but I think we are entering an era where worldwide adoption is the goal and I don't think the present blockchains would do it for us, we would need a platform that's very scalable and can handle hundreds of thousands of transactions per second and secondly, a Cryptocurrency that is definitely not volatile in price, something that is pegged to a particular value because you cannot purchase something from a merchant with say, Bitcoin and when they receive your payment, if they don't convert it and the price starts dipping, they would lose their profit and then some of tbeir capital on top, in my opinion the other players are still yet to be invented but we would be seeing them sooner than later.
373  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How someones made 184 Billion Bitcoin appear out of nowhere on: November 13, 2019, 03:59:03 PM
I definitely didn't know about this even though I pride myself in learning all about Bitcoin from it's earliest developement stage, reading this felt like reading a thriller and my heart actually pounded when it came to the part about how Satoshi fixed the issue within just a few hours after it was reported and returned normalcy to the bitcoin network, always thought that Bitcoin cane out perfect from the beginning but I prefer the way it happened, it simply means that it was improved and is now as strong as it is ever going to be.
374  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You can share your own opinion if you have. on: November 13, 2019, 03:18:46 PM
Traders who knows what they are doing tend to make much more profit than investors, take for example a trader has $100,000 to trade with and makes 1% profit on a daily basis from his daily trading, that means he makes $1000 and sometimes more on a good day and maybe slightly lesser in a bad day.

But for an investor, they might invest in a project and from the time of investment to the time it lists in an exchange, 2 months might have passed and sometimes they make just X2 of their capital, most times it's even lesser and sometimes they even lose, I would pick an experienced trader anytime.
375  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the not-so-known ways to generate crypto? on: November 13, 2019, 02:58:03 PM
Social media influencers and community managers are definitely up there in the food chain, additionally, being an advisor in a project can also be a great way to generate a lot of that token (little wonder John McAfee and Ian Balina would jump on any project that dangles some tokens in front of them) but I guess that particular role is reserved for the big fishes in the sea called the Cryptocurrency space, you also didn't mention staking, it's taking over the space right now.
376  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Create and Trade own crypto on: November 12, 2019, 05:48:50 PM
Anybody can make a project and trade the tokens if they want, just go to the services section of this forum and you would see numerous people that would be willing to create your own tokens for you, thanks to blockchain technology, you can easily trade it in forkdelta exchange without having to pay any listing fee or going through any long processes, but the major problem is not creating tokens and trading it, the major problem is getting a dedicated community who believes in the project, Moreover you can trade your tokens but that does not mean anybody would be interested in buying it.
377  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency and Blockchain: same, same but different on: November 12, 2019, 05:39:37 PM
To further simplify this, let me make this explanation with everyday products we use.. Nestlé is a large producer of consumables in Switzerland and one of their most notable products are their Chocolates, while we can say that the Chocolates are products of Nestlé, we cannot say that Nestlé are a product of the Chocolates ,that's how it applies to Blockchain and Cryptocurrencies.

Blockchain is the basic technology here and Cryptocurrencies happens to be the first product of that technology, blockchain is versatile and can be used for so many real world things but Cryptocurrencies are just basically decentralised currencies that uses the blockchain technology.
378  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Nigeria Naira becomes first Fiat currencies to be listed on Binance. on: November 12, 2019, 05:34:58 PM
According to a survey made using stats from Local bitcoins, it was estimated that Nigerians are the top 7 people in the world with the highest bitcoin volume although I have to say that I am surprised that the Nigerian Naira happened to be the first Fiat listed in Binance exchange, but presently it's not the only one as more Cryptocurrencies (I think 4 at last count) has been added as well, eagerly awaiting the time my country's currency would be listed, fingers crossed.

380  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: if anyone hacked your account then who is responsible??? on: November 06, 2019, 12:21:24 AM
Let me use the incident that happened earlier this year to give an example... A large number of user accounts were hacked and large funds totalling over $40m was carted away but the exchange refunded their users because it happened because of a vulnerability from their end, but when a single individual's account is hacked, that user bears the responsibility because it happened to just you so it's likely that you didn't secure your account the way it ought to be secured.
