361  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you gamble till old age or not on: October 02, 2023, 08:53:18 PM
I was in the garden this evening and I was think on my bet that I placed on this evening game, then something came into my head like...are you going to gamble even when you are old, or you will quit gambling at a certain age.
You'll never know. There will be circumstances that you'll find an urge to gamble especially when you see or know someone close to you gambling as well even at an old age. I don't think there's some certainty that you'll gonna quit gambling when you're getting old, hence, the fact that most gamblers are already not that young too.
362  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 01, 2023, 08:08:30 PM
Low key Portland is stacking 2028-20230 first round picks.  If these kids end up good and Blazers are a top team in the west by the end of the decade they are gonna have some serious draft capital to play with.  Great move all around.
Well, I think they wouldn't have to wait on those first round picks, having Ayton on them is likely a win already to develop that young core squad. I think Ayton pairing with these rising young talent of Henderson and Sharpe will be fun to watch. Not that optimistic this year but if they could work it out, I feel like they will be a promising team to follow.
363  Local / Pilipinas / Re: PhilHealth under siege: US$300,000 ransom set by Medusa ransomware group on: September 30, 2023, 07:25:49 PM
364  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: trade without fees? on: September 30, 2023, 05:33:32 PM
Is there any exchange that offers spot trading without fees at the moment? is bitget still offering it? and if so, what should I take into account when trading? liquidity issues etc?
Any other options?
I've been using Binance and they're working just fine imo just ignore the FUDs being thrown out at them. I don't have used Bitget and I don't know if they are that legit imo. I think what you should take into account is if it's a liquid exchange, fast, and has lot of features to use for. Would see lot of comments to recommend Bybit as well.
365  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Violence and anger could be a sign of gambling addiction in youths on: September 30, 2023, 01:52:12 PM
I have come to understand that having a negative impact on people close to you or your family could be a sign of compulsive gambling, to the extent that this boy start maltreating his junior ones, I mean inflicting pains on them.

The other two cases that I knew about gambling addict ( one in the family ) also have something similar to this behaviour, anger issues, criminal activities like burglary and disrespect of parents, I think countries with high rate of struggles and hardship will always have this type of problems.

Is there any effective way to make sure youths stays where the are told to stay instead of looking for quick money? Gambling isn't the solution to poverty it will possibly drown you deep into more poverty.
Not to jump to conclusion that fast but having three as an example wouldn't determine that it's all about gambling. It could be alcohol problem, relationship issues, money problem and lot of causes that may trigger to have this kind of maltreatment.

Compulsive gambling leading to losses may just be one but can't tell these days considering there are too many causes of these kind of social issues. I think the effectiveness of it should start in the early years of the child not when they are already in their teenager days. There's that saying that you won't be able to bend an old branch tree that easily but a young one could be. It's all about conditioning and how you mold them.
366  Economy / Gambling / Re: Plinko Simulation – BitcoinPlinko.com (Medium/Low Volatility) on: September 30, 2023, 09:49:25 AM
2) In Plinko, it's much easier to double up little sums and you always have a chance for a big win.
Again, bold words but that's marketing I say. Well, most of casinos do this and not just you OP but would love to try it anyway. Not that fond of the game but I think you have a nice UI there. I suggest to include the links of the Terms and Conditions, About Us, and Responsible Gaming on the homepage rather than using hyperlink to the blog page. Use that footer wisely.
367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any new PoW coins on the market? on: September 30, 2023, 06:32:33 AM
Does anyone know of any new cryptocurrency project that uses PoW as its consensus mechanism? It seems to me that mineable coins are becoming extinct these days. We can blame the government for its false propaganda regarding the "high energy consumption" of PoW cryptocurrencies. Nowadays, 99% of new coins are centralized PoS. I'd be surprised if there's anything new on the market with PoW behind it.

Your input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much. Smiley
Not gonna lie but it seems a dying industry and only a few will survive. Well,  government seems to be a huge antagonist in this POW or mining thing unless there's someone that will really stand for it and make it a trend once again. The thing with POW is that it's only good these days with huge facilities and you'll get cheaper cost with renewable resources.
368  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and it effects on: September 30, 2023, 04:28:48 AM
One one thing I have noticed about gambling is that before you win a thousand box, they might have milk you of more than that.
[I just want to use this medium to appeal to the younger generation, please stay off gambling, if you must do so, gamble responsible, don't take it as your only source of living so it wouldn't milk you dry.
Well, the lesson always comes in the end and that's a fact. I don't think this will make some impact (your voice) though to the whole world I mean there's lot of addicted gamblers out there and sad to say teens as well. That's always the case to win one but milked a thousand times, it's rare to win and mostly you'd just make it on breakeven.
369  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Risk management and responsible gaming on: September 29, 2023, 10:50:21 PM
Government are also the one encourage to gamble like the lottery which is I think not ethical considering they are the one asking people to encourage responsible gambling as well. They may not consider it a gambling but in my area you likely have to like bet 3x in a day in a lottery and I guess that's already gambling in its form.
Yeah, we've got the public lottery and a portion of the funds collected from it are also going to the charity. While the winners of that lottery really are winning a lot of money. Although there's a controversy right now on this matter but if its' the government that allows this, there's no problem at all but in morals, you are the one to consider it and still be responsible.
That's good that it's giving back to charity and being used by the public but what's worst if it just ends up on somebody else's pocket. In morals I think that's the one that affects you and those who are close to you considering it may end up with some problem that there's something to bet for rather than putting a food on the table.
370  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Risk management and responsible gaming on: September 29, 2023, 05:47:37 PM
Governments and several organisations work to encourage responsible gaming. This involves establishing betting restrictions, offering support to those who think they have a gambling problem, and participating in self-exclusion programmes.

371  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino is a Games of Chance and Entertainment on: September 29, 2023, 12:32:54 PM
The outcome of the majority of casino games is mostly controlled by luck rather than ability. Examples that are often used include craps, roulette, and slot machines. Players wager on numerous outcomes in these games, and the casino has an inherent advantage that ensures they will profit in the long term.
Casino gaming is a popular source of entertainment. Instead of looking at it as a means of making money, players should approach it with the intention of having fun.
I guess having fun with the chance to hit a jackpot, that should always be the thrilling emotion we should feel. We shouldn't have to worry about a casino always win or having the advantage, that's a given already. For sure, there's still lot out there that thinks it as a way of making money and that's a fact and we can't change their mind if they think it that way, I mean that's not bad either. There's only two people in gambling throw who think they'll make money and those who wants to have fun, end of story.
372  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Binance Launchpad Tokens on: September 29, 2023, 06:52:23 AM
I've seen REEF and other Binance launchpad tokens before and having this kind of TA is likely and I think they're just good when  bull runs come. That's why I never participate on their launch and will just buy it after that because it's likely to lose its value over time. Only a few of what they've launch will make some good run.
Generally, only some startup projects can achieve stability from the very beginning, in fact, this doesn't even happen; big investors, who usually buy cheap, take their profits and buyback.. There is no need to rush for launch tokens. It is true that the longer you delay the feeling of losing possession, the more advantage we gain in the next bull.

I know that some Launchpad projects released on Binance made very good profits last season. It seems logical to buy from good places this season.
That's very true and saddening at the same time but that's the reality we live in. I always don't rush on them but I think what they launched there are good coins/tokens so the opportunity to profit is really present but as an experienced investor you don't have to rush on it especially now that it's not yet that bullish in the market.

but the first wave of massive pumping with these coins in general usually always occurred almost immediately after it got listed in the exchange.
i think if you could acquire the token before launching then it will be massive profit but its true that it will always dumps after that.
Just some hype I guess from the community or some form of marketing, Binance has way too much reach tbh to lead it. Some tokens that they launched are sometimes already in the market for months or even years, they are likely just taking interest in it considering it has huge potential to be one of the popular narrative.

374  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Youth Gambling on: September 28, 2023, 09:40:55 PM
Among young people is a result of the availability of gambling alternatives, such as sports betting and online gambling. Gambling disorders can have long-term effects on a person's ability to complete their education and choose their future, and young individuals may be particularly susceptible to acquiring these illnesses
Well, there it goes and as much as we want to eliminate that we can only mitigate. Kids these days are too good on how they will want what they want and that's not surprising. To parents I think a regular monitoring will favor to them as long as you do it right too. It's not because they're good at it but as a parent that have children that are vulnerable to these illnesses you should be good too.
375  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will be the next narratives in the next crypto bull market? on: September 28, 2023, 09:21:08 PM
In my opinion, any bull market must have some narratives from which to start growing and to give people the idea that something revolutionary is happening. Probably the whales will be very interested in promoting certain narratives in the media.

In your opinion, what will be the top 3 narratives from the next bull market?

I would say this:
The appearance of an ETF on Bitcoin;
Artificial Intelligence
Social Dex
As much as I want that Bitcoin ETF to be approved, I think it will be a huge thing as well if a spot Ethereum ETF will have its way as well. I think we've seen the huge upside of Artificial Intelligence already but I think it has still more rooms considering this is an ongoing narrative. I think DeFi shouldn't be left behind, this will be a huge catalyst now that banks are diving into the world of cryptocurrency.
376  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sometimes just flex it ( luck is all you need) on: September 28, 2023, 09:06:51 PM
So sometimes don't think just flex it and let luck do it part friends.
I truly believe on that and sometimes you'll not have to wonder if it goes on your way as long as you're confident on what you've choose. It's a game of luck and the law of attraction sometimes play a part and I am always believing that way when gambling.
377  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you seen gambling advertisements on TV? Opinion. on: September 28, 2023, 11:16:54 AM
While watching TV with my kid, I've watched various advertisements of gambling nature (let's say for example, Rummy123, RummyCircle, A23 Rummy, etc.)
These are all specifically Indian ads, but I'm sure you may have seen various gambling advertisements, some banners at boundaries when cricket is ongoing, even in any other sport. How would a kid ignore those things, they might just come and ask you about what is it. Till when can we lie to them? Don't you think that the frequency of such ads must be less in order to let the kids not get trapped into gambling and don't do it at such a small age?
In my country I rarely see it unless you watch a sports coverage, most ads here being used are about food, body care, etc. I don't think kids would be able to understand it already unless that's a genius one or they are at age that already doing some mild gambling stuffs. I don't think lying with them will do good it's best you explain them the truth and the implications it will bring if you end up getting addicted on it.
378  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You choose the best site. 💪 on: September 27, 2023, 06:21:09 PM
If we compare them both, that's wrong. I think gambling and doing drugs shouldn't be labeled as if the other is rotten to the core and the other one is likely going on that same level, we tend to lower the responsibility on both when in fact they are both worst in my opinion. Doing a little or too much doesn't mean it has difference, it's not if it's abusive. Next time OP try to connect your title to the content you want to share.
379  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are decentralized domains still a thing? on: September 27, 2023, 03:55:57 PM
Do you think decentralized domain names are still a thing? Or will they become nothing but a failed experiment? Do you think blockchain networks will be able to replace the ICANN in the future? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Smiley
I think domain names doesn't made that incredible gains yet even in the recent bull run. In my opinion, domain name market is set to have its run and I think in the coming years it will be a thing. People will surely want decentralized domain names and I don't think it's a failed experiment, that's the thing they say in the past. Everything is going decentralized and I won't doubt if it will replace ICANN.
380  Economy / Gambling / Re: CryptoPhysicist - Your trusted crypto casino scientist since 2015 on: September 27, 2023, 01:03:52 PM
You have some archives of those casinos that you've reviewed? Well, welcome back I guess and would love to recommend your site in the future if I found your site is really be of great help. You have competition here if you're talking about review sites but the more the better and the right time to start is, to start that reviews of yours. Good luck!
