361  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin broke $13k today on: October 22, 2020, 11:07:57 PM
Yeah it seems we are heading to something great and that would be the best thing to happen during my stay here in the forum discussing about the ATH. I never had actually seen or observe how bitcoin grow and will gone bullish. This is something that another history will be written. In that case then we can go learn from it and see how we will going to play along in earning bitcoin in the future. I think investing is the best way to earn.
362  Other / Archival / Re: Why you should not use Paypal for Bitcoin on: October 22, 2020, 11:04:27 PM
It think they will going to use some money after it can get accumulated in their platform. Imagine that many people stored money in their platform but thinking of not withdrawing it as indicated in their policy? So, what really is bitcoin for them? an accessory or something? People are thinking about it as an investment now that bitcoin to grow I think that they afraid of lossing money after I guess they spend probably the money of the people after buying bitcoin. They can probably return their money when bitcoin market will go downand they can make easy purchase.
363  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Will UNISWAP become a centralized exchange? on: October 22, 2020, 12:12:06 PM
From its look I think the Uniswap defi exchange will not becoming a centralized exchange. It is currently working good and many had expressing good about the exchange while using it.

Uniswap is a unique Defi project and is known by its completely decentralized feature. If time will come and it will undergo changes then I think many of its users will going to be dissapointed and will think of using a different platform that features complete decentralized exchange.
364  Other / Meta / Re: Voting for important forum changes on: October 22, 2020, 12:06:34 PM
For me voting would be better but we know that votes could be influence by some users here so it still will not get the ideal result and it will also depend on the poll or choices.

However, the best thing about voting is that we can voice out our opinions too and make decision through casting votes. I am more than willing to participate if it will going to happen. In that case the forum will be run by the members and the admin of the forum will be the facilitator.
365  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best non kyc exchange to use and how it fits with trezor on: October 22, 2020, 11:55:06 AM
Why not adapt or make a buy on good exchanges? I think they too securing their database of identities but of course itis not an assurance that your identity will not get compromised.

Still I do believe in centralized exchange or exchanges doing KYC. If you really wanted to avoid making KYC then try to use the uniswap decentralized exchange and once you get your coin the transfer it to cold storage but then again this is a load of work compare to buying directly to exchanges.

Anyway, if you will just get use of good exchanges then there will be no problem.
366  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Post for all newbies.... as a newbie member on: October 22, 2020, 08:17:48 AM
So bad that many newbie making a merit grabbing posts. Just registered and all they think of is to earn merits. This is not what I had been through when I was a newbie.

You know what OP during the time when I was a newbie the only thing I know was to spam create post and making reply which I wasn't sure talking about things that I really don't know. After some time making some activities and still being a newbie in rank I decided to make a change and step up a little bit to which just recently I just earn some of my merits. Merits is a motivation for you to contribute help in the forum. Once you were able to get some merits then you will only going to think next time what to share that could be helpful for the member of the forum and the forum itself.
367  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling thoughts. on: October 22, 2020, 08:12:12 AM
These questions are applicable to both real time and online gamblers so I'll just point out the questions that caught my attention. Whenever I am playing I limit my losses to only $500usd, whether I lose or win just to give pleasure to myself but also, with discipline, at the same time streaks will be limited if you will set an amount to gamble.  A gambler could go higher with the value of money to gamble, or lower which would be better, just be sure that the amount you will engage to gambling, is an amount you can afford losing. Gambling is full of risks and winning is not certain, so atleast, if ever you will lose, there won't be much of regrets which could trigger frustrations and eventually, bigger losses. No one will discipline you whenever you are playing other than yourself.
It all depend on how you will going to manage your money and playing habit.

In my case if I had only 50$ to bet then I will bet always at the minimum to stretch the time to which I will going to bet. If ever I can have 500$ then I will also extend my bet to get the ideal number of times to play and ideal profit I couls get if being lucky. Yet, we know that casino has the house edge and in the long run no way we can win against the casino but if we will be talking about fun and excitement then casino will never fail to provide it to the gamblers.
368  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Any p2p LUDO, Carrom, 8ballpool game with Bitcoin on: October 22, 2020, 08:01:27 AM
Such games can be organized on the basis of other gaming platforms. To do this, you need to find competitors, discuss the amount of bets in Bitcoins with them, and also find an escrow with a good reputation, which will receive contributions from all competitors and at the end of the game will give the winnings to the winner. This is certainly not the best option, but if such sites as you are looking for are missing, this option may be the solution to the problem.
Not an ideal but I thin this way could be also worth it a success. The process will take long that include the time for disucssion with the escrow and the other parties to create such agreement on using the escrow service unlike using a platform to which the site will act as the escrow and but still deductions will going to take place.

I do believe that there are platforms already that has this kind of game and this is also a trend nowadays due to pandemic all games resorted to becoming an esports where you play in a device or computer. It may be a little bit different but if you will going to get used in it the everything will be fine.
369  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lost more in the process to recover ? on: October 22, 2020, 07:54:51 AM
That is quite related to frustration. It would be greed if you are winning already and still continue playing, eventually ending up with losses, just sharing. Going back, good thing you have reflected in this situation. It would be a good thing to set limits, more likely, label it as an amount you can afford losing because wiining on any game which involves betting, does not determine assured victory. Self-discipline will make it more effective. Knowing what to do will be nonsense if you won't do it. It is like solving a math problem and despite of knowing formula 1 which would be the best way to come up with solution perhaps, you still insisted formula 2.
Yes it could be greed but it all could be another way. We have different perception and that will matter. As I had mention earlier in my reply that having wins and still playing is like having more fun without getting compromised the money that has originally brought for that period of gambling activity. We all know that we will going to lose in gambling in the long run of betting but we could not take the fact that gambling is sometimes could be addicting but it will just going to pass by after all profits or winnings will gone. Yet, in my case I am always keeping small profit for me intented for the next playing schedule.
370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Forget bounties and Airdrops on: October 21, 2020, 12:01:01 PM
Good point OP and that should hopefully reach the members that are dilegently promoting projects but not get paid accordingly. It will be a waste of time and money so hopefully they will stop doing things that they are earning from it. However, there are cheaters also that are reporting bounties of other and own it as well. There are many of this in the forum but then again it will not be a worth it cheating for it will still be getting caught and everyone does it will get ban too.
371  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The purpose of signing in message of bitcoin wallets and digital signatures on: October 21, 2020, 11:43:43 AM
you should have sign in message to as suggested by @Charles-Tim for it will do good in you.

Well digital signatures are good if you have no trust on peoplw you are going to transact with. However, mostly transactiosn are being done with the parties you have known and trusted so it may not be necessary to use digital signatures at all. Anyway, thanks for sharing this info you had just effort in making this posts but people are not using digital signatures in making transactions here. Mostly payments are done locally or outside the forum and that does not requires digital signature too.
372  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Promote constructive criticism when doing posts or replies, on: October 21, 2020, 11:33:05 AM
Criticizing the trolls means we are feeding them so they will come more and kore so better avoid replying such post will make them to fade away.We are talking about the potential newbies who needs some kind of appreciation for their post in the right way to make one of the best poster of Bitcointalk.
We will definitely not feed the trolls,

And we will going to support the newcomers as what you had mention to become better poster here in forum. We always wanted new guys to be better not like in those times without merit and rank system for it was not organize and people only do what they think is right mostly making lots of generic or spam posts to create high activities in the forum for them to rank up not mindng the result it could take. The result was shit posting all over and was becoming a major problem. Now, it seems a little bit of change and we were heading towards a better forum for cryptocurrency discussions and that is all we wanted here in the stay of this forum.

373  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Forum activity. Need help! on: October 21, 2020, 11:04:55 AM
<snip>
It is always better to ask for help. No one is perfect here and that should be thing to always keep in mind that we too experience that too when we were new in the forum. However, in the long run I can guarantee you that you will going to learn here. And for that here are some my tips.

Learn how to earn merits this is important for you to rank up but never beg for it. Contribute helpful posts in which you can help by sharing it here to the forum and for the members.

Do not plagiarize or copy and paste post of any article or posts own by other members. You will get ban here and could never get back after it since the forum consider you ban as a member and not the account you register.

Be careful with the scammers around, there were too many of them here and in the telegram if you do have. Do not believe in their offers and giveaway for they are scam and fraud. Trust only the admin and the users that has positive trust. Consider also not to make transaction membera that has red trust. If you do not know about it then try searching on how trust system works in bitcointalk forum.

Then avoid investing in a ICO or any related projects, I have been there and was scam by them.

Lastly, enjoy the stay in the forum and if you wanted to earn then joim projecta that pays btc or projects that are being promoted by legendary in rank. Pretty sure they will screen projects they handle because they do not want to get to tag with red trust by promoting scam projects.
374  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lost more in the process to recover ? on: October 21, 2020, 10:51:43 AM
Forget it buddy, playing more in gambling will let you lose more as what you had experience.

It is because that casino is a business for those who created it and they need no luck just to earn profit. They need you to play more by letting you lose more so that you will want to recover like what you did. You stood no chance winning against the casino in the long run. This is why my piece of advise is to play casino or any gambling for only fun and excitement. Losing is part of it and that is natural however you enjoyed it and that is the pay for you playing it. If you win then that is a bonus and this is the reason why we wanted to plat to get that bonus. So, next time always play at your set limit, accept loses and return home still with a smile after having some fun in playing.
375  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: October 21, 2020, 05:40:58 AM
<snip>
You are right but the things that you had mention were also there before the pandemic. Meaning that earnings for now and before will be different if we will based on the number of crowds going in and pay in the stadium plus the food businesses they had outside for the fans to buy during the game. How many games they can get during the play offs and the finals? This is one of the that affects income to PBA. I think that this season still earn profit but are a little bit lesser compare to earning profit prior to covid19 pandemic.
376  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: US 2020 Elections data, polls and bets on: October 21, 2020, 05:33:28 AM
@DrG. Also, the real issue of China as the source of the coronavirus are not being printed by the news anymore. I also have never heard of a Democrat that demanded an international investigation on China for the possibilty of causing this global pandemic.

China and Chinese companies will certainly be very happy on a Biden victory hehe.
Well, if that Biden could win. However, I do believe more on Trump because he can do influence other people aside from his existing supporters because of his current position as the powerful person their country.

If Trump knows well how to influence the people then high chance he could get elected again. Besides I have never know Biden well and not a clue if he had also be an outstanding official as a vice president in their country. Well only the people of america can answer this through election day.
377  Economy / Economics / Re: Government slowly open the economy, will it make the pandemic worst? on: October 21, 2020, 12:15:08 AM
There is no way around it, if the government continues to lock down its territory, the economy will run slowly and more people will lose their jobs, so new normal should be applied. The pandemic will get worse, more people will be infected until a vaccine is found. meanwhile, people are responsible for following health protocols, taking care of themselves, boosting immunity to minimize the chance of being infected with the virus.
Actually all of the protocols mandated by the government are just minimum health prevention to which means that even if you follow it still you could get the virus. Why?

First, the virus could still live in the things that has been touch like the chairs, tables and comfort room. Anyone who touches those things that virus on it could get vmthe virus too or even transfer it to other things. Now there are actually hard headed individuals that are not really doing their things or just making the protocols as compliance for them not to get caught by the authority. Washing of hands and disinfect with alcohol usually forgotten so we can expect more cases to come in the future.
378  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Accuracy and attention when transferring cryptocurrencies. on: October 21, 2020, 12:06:55 AM
<snip>
nice suggestion, all of the points are good and  definitely we can learn to it.

It is difficult to encode the characters of btc address when sending due to its nature where there are many characters had been provided. I agree that encoding it will really be prone to mistakes and that you funds will be sent to someone or it will remain floating in the chain that no one can confirm it unless you make another transaction with higher fees to cancel the first transaction being made if not yet being confirm by the miners.
379  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Covid reinfection on: October 21, 2020, 12:01:15 AM
Forget vaccinations, all they seem to do is to create temporary antibodies. If you want immunity, then you need to build it the natural way with T-cells, and mucosal and other protective measures that we have developed over thousands of years.
Yes, I do believe that our immune system is more effective in fighting the virus than the vaccine.

I see homeless people in the streets, those crazy people, and the indigent like badjao(people living near ports) are healthy and not actually minding with the pandemic without wearing facemask they did get the virus but was not able to affect their health. I think that since they are exposed to viruses and bacteria in their everyday living the covid19 were not able to affect them. This virus is not fatal but we should do preventive measures and that is all it takes.
380  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Coinmarketcap isn't safe for newbies who don't want to learn on: October 20, 2020, 01:15:05 PM
Just let them do what they believe is right. In the end they will going to be succesaful or not and if we are there to u terefere then they will be just like us not earning because we are not risking.

Risking money in those new projecta might be a profitable. Do not forget the YFI coins and how it pump up even more than the current bitcoin market. It is somehow could be a good profit if those newbie were able to invest i  n that coin seeing it now has been pumped by the whalesor big time investors.
