why no one told me $gbtc closed at 520$ ![Shocked](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/shocked.gif) That's an amazing price difference between gbtc and regular and real btc, and so far, I have not seen nor read any meaningful explanation regarding why such considerable price difference exists between gbtc and regular and real btc except that people (investors) are so BTC volatility adverse (shy) that they invest in some investment vehicle related to the stock market, gbtc, that they "know" - rather than one that they feel that they do not know, BTC. h however, ironically, the ongoing considerable price difference between gbtc and btc seems to create an additional uncertainty regarding the continued price "stability" of gbtc, which to anyone knowledgeable about BTC would rather own real btc rather than the paper imitation shit of gbtc... in spite of apparent arbitrage opportunities. Keep in mind you can hold GBTC in your retirement account. It is possible to set something up to accomplish the same thing with raw BTC, but it is way more hassle than it is worth unless you have a very large retirement account.

get out. what about 2011?
2011 was part of I get out. Fits my long term count.... 1200ish was top of wave I. So then you understand why this can't be III? Not entirely... which rule would be violated? Rule 1: Wave 2 cannot retrace more than 100% of Wave 1.
Rule 2: Wave 3 can never be the shortest of the three impulse waves.
Rule 3: Wave 4 can never overlap Wave 1.

what does this look like with logarithmic scaling? It isn't. Check the y-axis.

Well, I took a small short at 475$, let's see how this goes...
Edit: didn't confirm, so I closed it. Will wait until 3 min MACD will cross to negative, should take 1 - 2 hours.
lol tzupy you will never learn man. That the piglets are insane, that's indeed hard for me to learn. The bid sum in China has been decreasing, but the asks are thin, and only inertia kept this shit going up. The market can be irrational longer than you can be solvent. AKA the history of bears in bitcoin. +1

I'll bump this thread with a small lesson,
Back in 2013 I was telling my friend to buy some bitcoins (on gox) when the price got to 70$ so he said he'd rather wait for it to go back to 50$, then the price got to 90$ and he still waits.. he finally bought bitcoin when it was 500$, then he lost all of it when we got gox'ed (he didn't listen to me again when I told him to get his bitcoin out..).
so we are seeing that the story will repeat itself but with big number this time? everyone seems to wait for a clear signal of a skyrocketing, before entering serious on the market, but when it will happen for real, when there will be the real bubble, it will be too late as usual... I know what you mean. I am kicking myself not buying at $237 last month. I keep telling myself I could of made $40 profit off each coin if I held and sold at today's prices. If you had bought, would you be able to push the sell button today?

Chestnut took my point and his latest posts lacks hubris. And he did it without bitching and moaning. Respect.
To the Chestnut defense squad, good luck with your idolization. If it offends you that I mock cocky people when they are wrong, please block me. But you will never see me mock someone who doesn't make declarations about the future and instead talks about possibilities.

It's interesting watching the charts in this thread invalidated within 24 hours. Where is your God now, Elliot wavers?
Don't hate on EW. EW is a valuable tool, but there are always multiple counts available. Just because they are wrong one time doesn't mean you guys should come shit on them. Chessnut and others have done a really good job with their TA and EW. They have to be wrong sometimes, as it's not an exact science. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I'm taunting him because he keeps using a tone of certainty when he should be more humble. He is ignoring other valid counts in order to justify his beliefs. He has been consistently wrong with his last few predictions and doesn't seem to want to revisit his assumptions.

this is it.......it is wave 5. minimum local target 1880 for the ED but medium term tgt is still the wave 4 area.... 1760 or so. ED are sharp and fast to resolve. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.tradingview.com%2Fx%2Fpsw91HOo%2F&t=663&c=UiepRJW6nTy1qQ) I love how certain you are. Too bad bitcoin doesn't care about your count.

Pick a dollar amount you can afford. Pick a day of the week. Buy that much once a week on the day you picked until you are comfortable with movement in any direction. If you get to heavy and start to panic on drops, sell the dollar amount you chose once a week until you are again comfortable.
