what does socialism/entitlement have to do with arrogance? do you have the experience to believe what you say, or do you just make generalizations based on some right libertarian perspective of political system?

u.s. = fuck the poor, dick ride corporations. and u.s. has some of most arrogant people in the world, no question. so what does socialist context have to do with it?

How is feeling like you deserve handout just for breathing not arrogance?
1163  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: 50 GH/s BFL miner running at 15 GH. on: November 21, 2013, 07:15:26 PM
I'm mining on a local p2pool instance.

P2P local instances support stratum?  Its been too long since I looked into all the P2P pool stuff...  Have you tried one of the major pools?

P2Pool has supported BFL rigs for months now.  Stratum support is nearing a year old if I recall.

Besides, I'm talking about cgminer's reported rate.

1167  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wave 5 or wave C on: November 21, 2013, 07:09:14 PM
It would be a new phenomena in the trend of rallies and mini bubbles if bitcoin were to rise again to massive levels after a 50% one day drop in value this week. For that reason I think we`re in a bull trap now, so we`re on the B wave now, or the bullish `return to normal` phase.

IMO, too many new investors were burned by the bumpy ride this week, and it will take a few weeks for them to regain their nerve, if they come back at all. Also, prices are still too high to attract many new investors at this stage. The psychological barrier of buying `one coin` should not be underestimated. I think this little rally will lose steam and we should drop by a good margin this weekend.

We are either on the verge of C, or 5 is already in progress.  At least a small C is more likely IMO, and it's extent will tell us a lot about what the next few weeks hold.

I don't give a shit what some poor kids think in a third world country (or america).
I just love to hear/read my bullshit in this forum.

So come on! buy more! We need more to the moon topics.

People like you are why I'm seriously considering leaving the US.

I'm not US resident.
We just have lots of dirty fiat from US tax evaders.

Well where do you live so I can cross that country off my list too.... I'm so sick of the arrogance of people in America and Europe.
fyi "America" does not mean "United States"..... just thought you should know, as long as we are on this topic  Wink

Thanks for telling me what I already know Roll Eyes.  I chose the words I used carefully.
oh? because the bolded made it pretty clear to me. so when you say "America" here, you mean to say that Central Americans, South Americans, Brazilians -- are arrogant like people in your country?

Yes, I mean to say that many Central and South Americans are also arrogant, although there are obviously differences.

South America in particular has many countries with serious socialism/entitlement problems.

That said, the US does take it to a whole new level.

It's not about country, it's about individuals.

Mirsad is most probably a child of people who went to Switzerland from my own country, or at least my area, it's a name specific for Balkans... you know, that type of poor sods who start thinking they are something special day after they find their way from misery and make their first 1k. Or more precisely - cunts.

Certain cultures encourage this type of mindset.  It is those cultures I would prefer to avoid.

I estimated the probability of reaching 1000 dollars per bitcoin to be 0.06%

How about now? Tongue

Edit: Just voted... ah hindsight Smiley

Dude that was stated in the context of hitting $1000 per BTC during the 2011 calender year.  Don't be a dick.

Chill out... I'm just trying to bring some perspective.

This is a monstrous fuckup of enormous proportions, if this is true then their trading engine is broken beyond repair and should be taken down and replaced by something else immediately!

Right, out of order execution is not acceptable.
1173  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoin parabolic rise and bubble crash have you been through? 1, 2, 3? on: November 21, 2013, 06:51:15 PM
Since $1.... I don't know how you define bubbles, but there has been a lot of action.
1174  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wave 5 or wave C on: November 21, 2013, 06:49:48 PM
So what's the general consensus here?

Are the yellow circles points 5 and B and now we will see a massive drop, or, are they 3 and 4 and we are about to see an explosion?

Neither circle can be 4.  4 is a down wave.
1175  Economy / Speculation / Re: Gold collapsing. Bitcoin UP. on: November 21, 2013, 06:36:12 PM

Plus or minus.

I love it's Proudhon posting this. He has been assimilated!

Believe it or not, long before Proudhon became everyone's favorite bear, he was a supermegaturbobull.  But then 32->2 hit him pretty hard and his horns turned to claws.

I'm on archlinux, using latest cgminer from git.  All of my other miners (ASICMiner) are working fine, and the BFL is running, just not full throttle:
BAL  0:  max 55C 3.26V | 15.37G/15.16Gh/s | A:7902 R:392 HW:66 WU:209.5/m

My BFL SC finally arrived today.  I plugged it in and was only getting 26 GH/s.  So I unplug it, remove the power cord, and wait a few minutes.  When I hook it all back up, it now caps out at 15 GH/s.  Any ideas?
