We are currently going all-in on the newsletter front, yesterday and today, so it's expected that there will be newbie bidders showing up. Just so you guys know.

I received your newsletter. I don't know if this was addressed before, but can you confirm that the funds from this auction will not be used to finance the production of these coins?

I ask because reserving a product already in production and paying for it's production are two different things. We all know there are many steps in the process where things can go wrong. This could be very risky for customers if you don't have the capital in reserve to refund orders if the worst case scenario happens and the coins are lost in customs in China (which really happened to Gravitate).

Also, please clarify if such a worst case scenario happened, would you be refunding based on the exchange rate or actual amount of BTC paid. I have been in this situation before and I don't want to repeat the hassle of trying to negotiate this after the fact. Blackarrow played this game of only refunding the BTC amount to people when the exchange rate was low and only refunding the original USD value when it was high.

Anonymous here Cheesy... rolls received.

Not bad, 30% of the coins are colored, ezeminer ended up at 33% colors and I came in at 36% colors.

Thanks to mrbrt on another fine production!

Thank you Smiley

I thought OP said a minimum of 2 colors in each pack, that would be 40% colors. Some packs arrived with only one color in them.

I have a few green, yellow, and red coins to trade.

Oh, I think you are referring to this:  "Each roll will contain at least 2 colors, with most rolls containing 3 colors and 2 rolls containing all 5 colors."

There are 5 colors (including gray), I included gray as color which I guess was confusing, but this is the same setup as the Node Bronze.

That explains it, thanks.

A few newbies seem to want this coin. TechnoMage, will you accept bids made by newbies?

Newly created accounts bidding in auctions is a concern, but we will just have to trust OP at some point. A bigger concern is newbies taking on increased risk by bidding on a preorder sale. Is OP willing to accept escrow or other forms of payment (credit cards) for newbie accounts? I am sure this will increase the number of bids if OP agrees.

Credit cards for preorder auction. Oh geez.... this could be a disaster. Sad

Only if OP doesn't follow through. Wink

If someone does a US group shipment, and buyers split the cost...

I couldn't see why we would all pay 66 euros each, when we could split up costs to be smaller.

If anyone wants I wouldn't mind handling a US group shipment.

I'll certainly go in with you.  Ideally, we could combine the custom value empty coin being made if they're available around the same time.

+1

Will the 1 BTC Special Edition Coin be auctioned as well rr will it be sold through your website?
Can you post a picture how this Special Edition will look like?
Plan right now is to auction the first 10 and then put the rest (40) on regular sale based on that. No pictures yet, we will launch this SE version next month.

Can you add a section to your website to verify multisig coins in case someone is selling one of these second hand? For example, https://dashboard.cryptolator.com/. I can check the password against the new public address to confirm that I have the right one even though I have not peeled the hologram.

I'm still looking for Serp Coins made before the DIY2.

There may be a few V1 serpcoins come available. I will PM you if I hear news of any more. Or check the thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1185880.msg12482174#msg12482174.

377  Bitcoin / Mycelium / Re: Mycelium Bitcoin Wallet on: October 19, 2015, 07:27:15 PM
I have uninstalled the Mycelium app and I would advise others to do the same.

what platform you mean now? IOS or Anroid? Because I never had any issues with Android one..

Moto X on Android 4.4.4

I transferred funds into the wallet, then immediately tried to transfer funds out (this instigated the problem). It became stuck in limbo (0 confirmations / nodes rejected the hash) Reinstalling the app did not fix the problem. I tried transferring out the remaining balance and it could not successfully broadcast the transaction. I had to switch to a different app to recover the wallet. I hope this is not a widespread problem.

Sending PM.
379  Bitcoin / Mycelium / Re: Mycelium Bitcoin Wallet on: October 19, 2015, 12:36:09 PM
I have two frozen transactions with the android Mycelium wallet. They have been stuck since yesterday and I am unable to send the remaining balance. The balance shown is 0.3 higher than it should be if everything went through. So far, this has been my worst experience with a Bitcoin wallet.

Update: Reinstalling Mycelium came up with the same errors and stuck transactions. In the end I had to recover the wallet with Coinomi. The original transactions never went through. I have uninstalled the Mycelium app and I would advise others to do the same.
