1221  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] Antminer S2 $400 coupons for .1 BTC, and Antminer S1 coupons for .02 BTC on: May 15, 2014, 04:35:47 PM
Thank you for the coupons. I see them in my account.

I was going to order one S1 on Friday when my 0.5 BTC  becomes available from my bank transfer. But this morning I saw that the minimum quantity is now 2 units. I won't be able to order it unless I add more bitcoins to my account, and that'll take another 5 business days.  ARRGGGHH!!!

If you are in the US, you can use snapswap.us to add USD and use your ripple wallet to buy BTC for 0.9% + $0.30. https://b2r.uservoice.com/knowledgebase/articles/344740-how-to-buy-bitcoins-using-ripple-wallet-and-snapsw. It takes about two days.

I am curious if you get any takers for this. Please post an update if you are successful and for what price.

Let's not forget, the X1 cases are still 2+ weeks away so we're being extra screwed compared to the X3 orders. Also, that double hashing board is for the X3 only, where's the working hash board for the X1?
As a fellow X-1 Buyer, were quite a long way out.

They should just use the two chip board for the X1s. It would make a lot of sense, instead of the current compensation plan for X1 miners.

Debitme, the surprise they promised us around the time of shipping will be that there are no miners and they're running away with the money!  Grin

HAHA, what a surprise.  Only difference is that would not make me happy for choosing BA.

I am guessing the surprise will be all orders will be doubled, free PSU's with all units, and every unit shipped will come with a free 1 chip version of their scrypt machine!

In reality, I bet the surprise will be, the LCD screen will display the price of bitcoin from MTGox's API. lol

I doubt anything will change since they already sold PSUs to people like me and they don't want to offer any refunds. If we are lucky maybe some cloud hashing crumbs will be doled out.

If they do not ship this week, they will need to add more compensation as Bitmain S2s are now $1650 shipped in just over a week! https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=608147.msg6715210#msg6715210

Can anyone confirm if the X-3 compensation units will be shipped with the original order? Or, will they be shipped at a later date. I am debating if I need to order a PSU now or wait until I see the original order arrive before spending more money on this.

We have pasted the last shipping estimate and no news. When Bitmine.ch did this, they took another month before they really started to ship anything. Any shipping schedule updates for X3s?
1227  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] Casascius 1BTC, 2011 Series 2 [Original, Loaded 1BTC] on: May 12, 2014, 01:50:42 PM
Since you do not have any trust feedback, 1.45btc shipped USA with escrow or you ship first (check my feedback). My bid is good for 48 hours.
1228  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Silver Wallets a new kind of physical storage for your bitcoin on: May 11, 2014, 03:29:02 PM
If I order today, how soon do you think you can ship?
1229  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] Physical CGB bar. last of the funded ones! on: May 11, 2014, 03:25:17 PM
Stores cgb, but if you redeem it you could essentially store bitcoins.

So, 10 CGB is worth roughly BTC0.0066 right now on cryptsy. Can we see a pic of the hologram? How much silver is in this bar? And, how did you come up with 0.45BTC as a value?

Black Arrow Software,

I want to order the extra PSU for the X-3.
http://www.blackarrowsoftware.com/store/power1.html

I find it strange that I have to pay an extra US$ 40 for shipping while this extra PSU can also be shipped together with the X-3 units.
Is it possible that the extra PSU can be shipped together with the X3 units to save on shippingcosts?

I am in the same boat, but I think Blackarrow should confirm that they are actually shipping the compensation units with the original orders. Otherwise, I suspect we will not see them for another 2 months. Then it may not be worth buying their overpriced PSUs.
1231  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: new 2x antminer s1 .... ordered still waiting... psu question on: May 07, 2014, 04:34:24 PM
you think run em at 200?

 not 210-220?

They might go 210-220, but that really depends on the individual units and cooling. 400 freq should be fine with the PSU you purchased. I'd keep the Thermaltake. From my experience, 71a on a single rail is better than 1000w on 4 rails for mining.
1232  Economy / Goods / Re: New form of physical bitcoin on: May 07, 2014, 03:26:40 PM
Are these just in gold or can you make them in something harder like platinum? Gold is rather soft to hold a private key. Would it come in a hard case or as is? Hologram?

I tried to contact BA about buying the needed PSUs and the reply was to wait for another update sometime soon. I would hold off buying PSUs for compensation units until BA post another announcement. I hope any hardware delays are not as bad as the Coincraft fiasco earlier this year. I can't believe that Chinese know-off miners where available with the A1 chip before prepaid customer orders where filled. I hope BA does not follow that path.

Here are a few pictures of a Cryptolator coin in the wild. It is a beautiful coin.

Sure, I'll PM you.
1237  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Black Arrow Miners ??? on: May 02, 2014, 12:11:06 AM
I bought 2 Black Arrow Prospero X-3 (2000Ghash/second) Miners about 3 months ago on pre-order.

I am beginning to think this was a mistake because I don't trust Black Arrow will deliver any hardware and has taken my money...

Too many red flags come up with this company... For 1, they always answer vaguely their messages, they said shipments go out on April 30 and now they are telling me to "give them some time".. No one really has anything concrete to say about them and I really think I lost $12,000.
They don't have any call center, you can never actually speak to anyone, I spoke to my contact in China and she said this is only a "corporate address.. They don't have a manufacturer there" She actually went to look. So yeah... I am a little worried.

Does anyone have anything good to say about Black Arrow?

Thanks.

Danny.

Yeah, I ordered miners from them last year back in the FPGA days and they delivered a well made product. They can still run today, although there is no point mining 400Mh at 35w. I do think think they will deliver. I do have concerns over the Gh/$ price matching, but I don't think you are out $12,000 for nothing. If it makes you feel any better, there are people like me who ordered back in October before the difficulty went through the roof.
1238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Script hardware whats best? on: May 02, 2014, 12:03:18 AM
Im after something beefy to mine script not bothered about gridseeds thinking about the knc titan but is there any thing available now with out a pre order?

Check the group buys, there are 75Mh and 90Mh miners available now for around $10,000 and $12,000.
1239  Economy / Collectibles / Re: ฿฿฿ CRYPTOLATOR PHYSICAL BITCOIN - UNCHAINED - 999 FINE SILVER ฿฿฿ on: May 01, 2014, 04:45:38 PM
Thanks to everybody that bought a coin, we are down to 95/140 !

Keep passing the word around !

I know there's not much you can do...
But, if you can find a way to get them shipped internationally for a considerably cheaper amount then it'd increase interest.
You could try and find some distributors in different countries/continents which would make shipping cheaper. Of course they'd have to be trustworthy too... They could be the official distributor in each continent, saving you hassle and boosting sales.

It was $20 to the USA with what looks to be about a 5 day service. What are others seeing for shipping? There are other costs that are not being passed on like CC fees. For example, Titanbtc charges another $20 just for paying with paypal and their silver coin is a good $100 more.

Edit: I'll add that I just placed another order and I'd be happy to re-ship any other orders within the USA for free (if Cryptolator agrees to such things). You could probably fit one of these in a small priority mail box that runs $5.45 with tracking and $50 insurance. We would need to verify the size for shipping but it's easily enough to send me a PDF of a prepaid label with your address shipping from my zip.

Thanks for the link.

Someone from Minersource: Can US customers who ordered direct from Blackarrow (before Minersource was an affiliate) have the power supplies added to their orders or do we need to go through the Blackarrow site)?

I understand the X1 units require additional hardware mods to get a standard PSU to work. Is it the same for the X3 units?
