361  Economy / Speculation / Re: Dark cloud above the bulls. on: August 25, 2017, 01:27:10 PM
Remember it's just a matter of time before the news of the November hard fork hits mainstream media and people will start panic selling.

the news about Segwit2x is already all over the mainstream media and everyone already knows about it.
and now is way too soon to bring out the FUD about it. at least 1 month before the actual fork the FUD will start and we will see the same shit as we saw before August 1. and until that time price will continue to rise up possibly even break $5000 too.

FUD > a price dip > idiots selling > price recovery > idiots waiting to buy back > price going up > idiots crying > price reaching new ATH > idiots buying back again > correction > idiots panic and sell at a loss again > price rises again > life will go on and idiots get poorer and poorer.
362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: litecoin on: August 25, 2017, 01:15:43 PM
litecoin is the only coin apart from bitcoin that i have been holding for a long time. i actually believe in its future and i speculate a lot more rise for it. $40 was the new bottom for this coin and it has started rising up.

after activation of SegWit on bitcoin, now we are looking forward for its Lightning Network and as soon as it starts up on both chains and becomes more popular you can see the famous Atomic Swap which allows you to easily swap these two coins for each other.
that is considered a great news and can be the start of LTC rally.
363  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What can you say about Etherium Classic? on: August 25, 2017, 12:58:03 PM
What can you say about Etherium Classic?  Will it be more valuable than Etherium?

there is no longer any reason for its existance in my opinion!
this coin could not go anywhere and it just proves the fact that the only reason ethereum has a higher value is that ICOs pumped it hard.
otherwise ETC offers nothing more than ETH does and both are based on the same broken code with lots of bugs.

but since we are talking about altcoin market which keeps any kind of crypro alive for no reason except pump and dumps, ETC will remain around but will never go above ETH price.
364  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Update: blockchain.info will soon start supporting Bitcoin Cash on: August 24, 2017, 06:59:35 AM
seems like blockchain.info is trying to turn into a multi-currency-wallet with all the altcoins they are adding, first ethereum and now bitcoin cash. it is a very good news though since their platform is easy to use and popular people can easily use it to hold their alts temporarily before they dump them. and the security is decent enough since they don't have access to your private keys.
365  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Price Might Exceed $1 Million, More Millionaires in World Than Bitcoins on: August 24, 2017, 06:29:13 AM

This is a remarkable number when compared to the total number of Bitcoins that will ever exist. While there are roughly 35 million millionaires in the world, there will only ever be a maximum of 21 million Bitcoins. That’s right--there will never be enough Bitcoins in existence for every millionaire in the world to own even a single one.

What’s Bitcoin’s long-term potential? Bitcoin could easily become so valuable that even millionaires can’t afford an entire coin.

Have you counted the amount of Satoshi's that would be available? Do you know that even a Satoshi can be sub-divided if the need is there to do that? We are dealing with "code" and this code can be changed to adapt to the need. Sub dividing a Satoshi, will not make any difference to the total supply of bitcoins, it will just give us more units to work with.

100,000,000 Satoshi = 1 Bitcoin  ^smile^

dividing up bitcoin any further will NOT happen unless in a very extreme circumstance. it won't happen simply because it is a hard fork to change something very fundamental and it will affect bitcoin a lot. and also because there is no need for it and there won't be.

that extreme circumstance can be (if i recal correctly Satoshi said this) in case a very large amount of bitcoin is lost for sure. like 10 million coins sent to a burn address!
366  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC chain is losing hash rate fast on: August 24, 2017, 06:25:04 AM
some people seem to forget that the topics they create on a forum stays there forever and will act like a big stupidity declaration on their forehead forever.
the name KuakDuck is well known to everyone, we add Rawdog to the list today also.
367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: how to make a good PROFIT in trading? on: August 23, 2017, 03:26:36 AM
there are two golden rules when it comes to trading altcoins before anything else:
1. buy coins that are not in a bubble
just take a look at where they are. on the charts it would be obvious to notice when a coin is up a lot compared to past days or weeks.
these coins will obviously get dumped hard soon.

2. dump them as soon as possible
never maket the mistake of becoming a altcoin bag holder. people make the mistake of comparing alts with bitcoin. if you hold bitcoin you will always make profit in long term even if its price drops.
but if you hold altcoins you will only lose money because they rarely get pumped and each pump will be smaller than the last.
368  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what's the most cryptocurrency friendly country in the world? on: August 23, 2017, 03:19:31 AM
i think Japan is starting to become exactly that, with their regulations for bitcoin they started a nice movement. and it increased the adoption and changed the population's view towards it.

but also there are other countries that have been bitcoin (and by extension crypto, although they rarely know about alts) friendly. Switzerland comes to mind for instance.

369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin (BTC) be killed by BCC soon? on: August 22, 2017, 07:00:23 AM
Of course they will lower their difficulty because they own the chain and they're the only ones controlling it no one else. they want us to mine it?
of course they want us to mine it, what else did you think?!!
in order to mine bitcoin you have to buy an ASIC, an who do you think sells ASIC miners? lol
the same people who created bitcoin cash. and the difficutly won't last like this, it will shoot up soon and the price will get dumped hard too.

Quote
Are pushing their luck. the only thing they want is for us to invest and start trading their coin as the main coin in crypto but that's not going to happen.
as far as trading goes, people are going to trade ANYTHING, doesn't matter what it is called it can be bitcoin cash or it can be shitcoin, they will trade the pump and dumps and take the profit in bitcoin in the end.
370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is a better investment right now, ETH or LTC? on: August 22, 2017, 06:33:07 AM
i currently don't like either of these two coins.
ETH is getting dumped most of the times and then a sudden pump comes along out of nowhere. this means holding the coin is not wise because you lose 99% of the time and only win 1% and the win amount may not be enough to cover the losses.

LTC on the other hand is stable. the price has been above $41-$42 for a long time and it is staying there strongly. this makes it a better store of value but not for trading and making profit.

i prefer the hot coins of the day. they usually change every day so i won't bore you with names. but if i find any i make sure to invest and make the profit in that day.
371  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are russians involved in so many coins? on: August 22, 2017, 06:24:32 AM
there are a lot of people from a lot of places, you just happened to see more of the russian variaties. and usually the Russian show themselves as russian obviously for some reason but others won't!
372  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: MONERO GOING TO THE MOON on: August 21, 2017, 11:16:46 AM
this is not the first time a good coin goes up in price and it won't be the last, it doesn't have to be a weird thing like the other topic in this board about it is suggesting. and it doesn't have to be "scammers" buying it just because it is the anon coin!
it is just how this market works. coins rise up after some time of accumulation and market manipulation and they come down usually and stop at some better price.
373  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coins with best Marketing Teams/Campaigns on: August 21, 2017, 10:41:18 AM
i have never seen anyone aim for "mainstream" adoption. everyone is only aiming for having a higher price through hyping things up and getting a good pump going.
and so far the best advertising team that i have seen belongs to ethereum. they spent a lot of money on it too. with all the weird fake articles of news. with the seminars they start and all the social media stunts it has been the biggest one so far.
374  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crystal ball of Masterluc: $15K before 2017 ends! on: August 21, 2017, 05:02:42 AM
there is no bubble, and it was clear from the start! if any trader just noted this recently then they may want to reconsider calling themselves "trader". that much is way too obvious.

but i am afraid a $15K by the end of 2017 can mean a bubble. that is almost too big without anything major happening. we have had very good reasons so far to go this high (4x rise so far) but there is no much reason for another 3.75x rise in 4 months or 15x in a year.
i can see this year break 5000 and test 6000 but 15K is for 2018 not this year without a bubble.
375  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: why altcoins are crashing again ? on: August 21, 2017, 04:52:10 AM
why altcoins are crashing again
?

There is really no big reasons for the dipping of prices right now. This is just part of the volatile market. Right now, the altcoins are already rising. So everything's pretty normal.

By the way, "crashing" is not the right term. There is no crash happening.

yes there was a big crash happening becaus this topic is old and by that time since bitcoin price went up fast and a lot, like always altcoins got dumped hard and the panic selling was all over the market causing the big crash happening.

and it is not just because of "volatility". it is because most of them are pump and dumps which get dumped at any corner!
376  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ZEC: what is this the purpose trading this thing? on: August 21, 2017, 04:34:43 AM
do you mean trading ZEC in general or just trading it against ETH? because that is two different things.
generally trading anything is just to make profit, it doesn't really matter what they are and the supply that you mentioned is not important at all. look at Dogecoin supply if you don't believe me. in the long run these coins with big supply will continue to go down but that doesn't stop us from trading them and make profit from the pump and dumps.
377  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: $700 and Rising: What's Driving the Price of Bitcoin Cash? (coindesk.com) on: August 19, 2017, 06:59:11 AM
it is just a pump!
i don't know why they make it such a complicated thing with that article when it is pretty simple.

there was a dump and whales got in at the bottom, started accumulating,
- the hype started
- poloniex was added to the mix and they always get anything pumped up
- the difficulty was reduced once again making blocks faster and mining more profitable
- they filled reddit and all the news sites and bitcointalk with their comments about all these and started the pump.

that is exactly like any other pump in any other altcoin so far.
378  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Eth worth the investing? on: August 19, 2017, 06:49:21 AM
"Eth worth the investing? "
not right now. there was a time when ETH were not pumped and bubbly and you should have invested back then. now you should focus on other better projects. or at least buy when it is dumped hard (like the couple of days ago).

"will Eth rise somemore and replace BCC? "
i don't understand this question.
replace BCC in what? in market cap? it already has a bigger cap!
in price? probably not because BCC is brand new and will get pumped harder and go higher than ETH. new altcoins are always like this: "easily pumpable" that is why i said above look for new projects instead of the old eth.
379  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you dumped your BCC yet? on: August 19, 2017, 06:38:54 AM
BCC has turned into a good altcoin for trading, it has a lot of pumpers behind it and it is advertised a lot. and with all these dumps the swings are amazing and you can short it if you like or you can buy before the pumps and dump it after a 80-120% rise happened for a huge profit.
380  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: WARNING - Dumb speculation mistake in all coins on: August 18, 2017, 01:22:38 PM
The following is an example of dumb statement:....BTC or ETH (or whatever) will never be $500'000 because the market cap will be..........bla bla bla bla yadda yadda yadda.

their reasons may be wrong but their conclusion is correct. these coins can not go that high at all. but even if we ignore all the other reasons there is still one big reason why they can not:

simply because people think about market cap that way!
for example when the ETH pumpers used the market cap as their advertising technique they can't now take it away. the same people who don't understand market cap and fell for their advertising techniques are not (with the same mindset) are thinking it can not go high because it will be too big and simply because of that they will dump it.
