3601  Economy / Economics / Re: Money above all things, Yes or no ? on: August 05, 2017, 11:35:35 PM
Money is not the most important thing in the world but it may appear to be one because most of our necessities can be bought using it moreover theres this unending wants that

make the claim stronger. there are actually many causes of this but i will not state them all because its obvious. bottomline is our world simply depends on it and some parts may

be rotten like a persons success depends on his wealth and a lot of things can be decided if you don't have enough money to survive. Earning money is just like surviving.
3602  Other / Off-topic / Re: Young people should go all in on bitcoin on: August 05, 2017, 10:26:22 PM
Right now many young people who have been bitten bitcoin because they know how to get it, even now the old has begun to be shifted by the new generation.

The young ones should go in with bitcoin. We are in modern generation and young ones should be able to have some knowledge in bitcoin while they are still on that age. As they get older they have some money to spend in their retirement and they don't have to work hard in offices or job that they want to choose.
They have to change their mindset and focus their time on money making activities rather than spending it on useless things.
Not all the time this kind of opportunity be seen in our life so we should grab it now and focus on this.

Let's don't remove their right for being a kid or teenagers, they just have to choose what they want and that gives them fun. As long as we will educate them about bitcoin I guess that's enough and you will see on how they will be inspired if they want to know more and get into deep digging about bitcoin.

yah its no use prohibiting them to have fun the same also goes for all people not just teenagers. people here often have a belief that if you sell, you lose but wanting something

in exchange for your hardwork is normal on the contrary holding them with the goal that you'll collect as many money as possible is just plainly greed which is not good under

any circumstances. young people not just everyone should be given a choice but it is also a fact that most of them spends their money on useless things. A good solution for

this is to divide your money based on what you want and need. if they choose bitcoin to have a part on that then its fine.
3603  Economy / Economics / Re: Why You Should Never Sell Your Bitcoins Ever on: August 05, 2017, 08:50:39 PM
Reading the responses to the recent topic titled, "I would sell all my bitcoins if…." has left me concerned.

The kinds of responses on that thread reveal a deep misunderstanding of bitcoin and the current monetary system in many of those who are speculating. Let's consider the scenario in which bitcoin reaches $1000 or let's say $10,000 per bitcoin. Many have said they will cash out if bitcoin reaches this point. Why??

If bitcoin reaches $10,000 it will have to be because the fiat currencies of the world are tumbling to worthlessness via a hyperinflation type scenario and bitcoin is the safe haven, which if you know anything about the current monetary systems of the world, you know this is inevitable. (there have been 3800 fiat currencies throughout history and EVERY SINGLE LAST ONE has crashed to worthlessness; a value of zero) Why would you then sell all of your sound money (Bitcoin) for a bunch of fiat money that is inevitably becoming worthless? I don't understand the logic in doing that.

If bitcoin ever reaches $10,000 per bitcoin, you will NEVER see me selling for fiat paper money. You may however see me having a shopping spree at Overstock.com or TigerDirect.com or NewEgg.com! I will be buying things I want with my bitcoin profits DIRECTLY WITH BITCOIN, not selling my bitcoin for paper fiat. Hopefully by then there will be many more options, perhaps even Amazon.com will be accepting bitcoin for goods and I can have my shopping spree there.

Point being, selling bitcoin for dollars seems counterproductive. Why convert your paper fiat currency into sound value storing superior bitcoin, only to sell all of your superior bitcoin back for worthless antiquated fiat currency again? Why not just spend the bitcoin itself to buy what you want instead of taking a loss by converting back into dollars which will inflate away eventually anyway?

I think Bitcoin's $ 10,000 is never going to happen. The truth is I'm still keeping my Bitcoin and I'm waiting for a proper price to sell them. It could be $ 4000 or $ 5000. But now is not the time to sell it because Bitcoin is not really stable

Thats exactly the same mindset people had in bitcoin on its early days. they probably didn't even predicted that the price will rose to $3000+ even $5000 is close in my

opinion. we have reached $2000 and $3000 this year even though theres still half a year. if things continuous to go well $5000 might happen in two years or so or even sooner.

About the stability again, isn't it the one that allows bitcoin to rise? everyone might think its a disadvantage but it can actually be an advantage.
3604  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Exchanges decision to support Bcash might backfire now and help BTC on: August 05, 2017, 07:43:53 PM
well op has a point but in the first place for an altcoin to grow, it needs an exchange site particularly with large volume as we all know trades is the most efficient way to circulate

it so i don't see any any reason why would an exchange refuse to add in in their list of cryptocoins. the exchanges profits from the trading fees so if people continues and wants

to do trade with this particular coin they will gain profits, and thats another reason why it would benefit the certain exchange.
3605  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are You SATISFIED With AUGUST 1? on: August 05, 2017, 07:03:03 PM
yes i am satisfied. at first i was already prepared for the worst but it turns out good in the end. now bitcoin is pumping although many articles predicted that it may not hit $3000

this year. i'm really glad that the community comes up of a solution which is bip91. the only ones who are dissatisfied about this are people who haven't dumped their bch. i don't

know if that is just fud to lower the price but anyway since its also part of the result that occured in August first, i think i'll be watching this coin rather than dump  it.
3606  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your plans with your Bitcoin? on: August 05, 2017, 01:07:01 PM
my future is depend on bitcoin.I hold some btc for future.
Don't do that, what if bitcoin will fail then you will not gonna get what you wish for your future.
I have investment with bitcoin and I think it will give me a great return in the future, if I fail I have a back up plan which is to venture in real business where I can use my expertise and passion to do it, but I will be back again with traditional way of making money.

I always like a new one which is bitcoin because I wanted to be part of the history and I am hoping it will be a major success.

yah it is not certain that bitcoin will keep rising always but there is a high chance that it will for a few more years. investing in bitcoin for your future is not a bad thing unless you

invested almost all of your money, now thats too risky. like what the guy said you have to have a back up plan incase the first one fails since your future is what we're talking

about. what i'm doing now is to keep at least half of one bitcoin for a long term investment
3607  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many people are asking you about Bitcoin now? on: August 05, 2017, 09:25:58 AM
I am sure my phone will start ringing 24/7 now. all these people who said I look into it but didnt have "time" will now bang their heads

I don't know if you mean it literally or not but your phone ringing 24/7 is literally impossible. yah the growing interest about bitcoin on various people is certainly there but lets be

honest here, only a few of them have this persistence to learn and the others has either have given up without trying or had given up after trying. in the first place for people

paricularly a large number of people to ask you about bitcoin, you have to tell them first that you know it in whatever way.
3608  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I hope BCH will be pumped so I can get rid of it and stick to the real BTC on: August 05, 2017, 08:13:30 AM
That's all I have to say about this altcoin... it's going nowhere - you don't even have a trustful wallet for it yet.

It's already dumped. It's going down day by day. But I hope it will pump again. But It will not pump so high. And It can not compete with BTC. Because BTC is now $3100+ and soon It will be $3500+. And I thing BCH does not a trustful wallet. That's why it can't be more popular that BTC.

well it already pumped when its launched, thats why some users are upset about not being able to dump their bch. but we still don't know if it will increase greatly as well as the

competition about bitcoin. every altcoin have a chance to compete but sadly none of them got closer to bitcoin as of now. that being said, that fact that bch is at disadvantage

now is true because of its low support but isn't that the same for bitcoin in its early age?. we'll see what the devs will do in the coming months particularly abou the wallets

because it is really fishy, i know some people who owned btc before the fork still haven't claimed their bch because of that.
3609  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So everyone tells you to take your Bitcoins off the exchange before the fork!! on: August 04, 2017, 08:30:40 PM
You're very naive to be bitching about people giving you the best advice you could ever get. If an exchange holds your bitcoins then on August 2nd decides they're going to keep everyone's BCH then you're screwed. That's it. At least you still have them. They were never 'worth' $727 anyways. Don't consider it a loss because most people still haven't figured out where to import their private keys at this point.

fair point, i'm sure he's just mad and envious of the people who dumped their bch after the fork. these people really. in the first place that advice aims to secure your bitcoin as

we don't know what will happen on august first. this advise is fairly true nothing wrong with that, it served its purpose and that is to secure your bitcoins. now if you want to take

advantage of this to earn profits, you have to take a risk and predict something which is the most possible thing to happen on the given date. one of the risks is what the guy

above me stated. People moved their bitcoins to exchanges because they prioritized their coins safety now if you want to get profits the you don't know what you're doing at least

do a research about what youre about to do. Don't blame others who gave their advices because you had a choice and will always will since its just an advice.
3610  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin survive? on: August 04, 2017, 05:57:27 PM
Bitcoin can survive because it receives enough support from the internet world. But we'll never know how long it can because there will other cryptocurrency that will strive to match, or even overpower the bitcoin's capability

Well i have to agree that the support it receives and its growing popularity is the most difficult to beat for an altcoin. thats the reason why up until now we haven't seen a real or

noticeable rather, competition between bitcoin and a certain altcoin. if it takes this long for the people today to trust in bitcoin, i'm fairly sure that the same will also go for others

unless a different thing might happen, something that never happened into crypto world. if its regarding the bch, i'm sure it will survive because bch is just an altcoin anyway,

technically there is no change in bitcoin.
3611  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Would you keep Bitcoin cash, or sell them? on: August 02, 2017, 04:43:58 AM
Despite the statements of various entities of not supporting this coin, it is doing well for now but we still don't know if it'll continue in the coming months. in terms of market cap

it is now on the top 3 among all cryptocurrencies, i think that it will still increase considering that bittrex accepted them, polo said they won't but i think they will. overall this coin

is worth the watch so not gonna dump it anytime now.
3612  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Is there a need for more escrows on this forum? on: July 31, 2017, 05:41:28 PM
So at the moment are only 12 escrows all over the forum, only 5 active per day and you get an reply sometimes in days, I think the forum should have at least 20 or 30.

i think we have more than 12 if you include the campaign managers, i heard they are also accepting some transactions. but yeah since not everyone is available and most of

them have a certain criteria for accepting transactions e.g. some might only accept small ones or big ones etc. so the more escrows the better. i don't really get why should the

need of escrows has to be stopped when there is a reduction of scams, i mean that shouldn't stop us for being alert in scam instead we should strive to maintain it or better, to

improve again and again.
3613  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Making a living from signature campaigns, is it possible? on: July 31, 2017, 04:02:24 PM
Many factors depends on your question like where the user belongs to and how much 1$ converts to their currency and their rank on the forums as well, would be hard to say if someone can make a living out of sig campaigns its more like a pocket money/side income for me since I am still studying and live with my parents.

This! I would see it as a side income and rather save the coins in hope for future increase of price. So you would increase your income over time.

But try not to spend it. Keep it until Bitcoin price reaches $10.000 or more. Some crazy guy even predicted $500.000 per bitcoin in a few years. Don't know i that will ever happen but even $10.000 per Bitcoin is a lot and currently you have to work 10 months for a that if a monthly campaign payment is around 0.1 Bitcoin.

if you're holding bitcoin then that won't increase your income as it is the amount you received every month/week--depends on the job contract however it will certainly increase

your money suppose that you're holding it for months or years. no one really knows what bitcoins price will be in the coming years but for you to earn that amount i doubt 10

months will be sufficient because as the price of bitcoin rise, the wage here will certainly be lower but it'll be on the amount of bitcoin, if you convert it on your local currency i'm

sure it'll increase
3614  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] DIMCOIN The Future Of Equity on the Blockchain (FULL) on: July 31, 2017, 02:08:09 PM
ICO is still in progress and will still be running in this 2-3 weeks before it gets a chance to hit any exchange unless they have a sale out which is likely to be the case for this project and after ICO is over we shall have to wait for any listings
If devs decide to raise more funds as per the success of Dimcoin, any dev may decide that so that they can hire world class developers for their project hence I am expecting continuation of ICO phase and honestly I am not waiting for Dimcoin to hit exchanges. Because I do not have any hurry to sell them immediately.

world class developer(s) is not really that necessary, just competent ones will do. the last 5% bonus is on august 20-27 so the ico will probably ends at the end of august or a

week after that. and they shouldn't prolong the ico just to raise more funds as it can result to trust issues within their investors. sticking to their official roadmap and goals is the

still most professional way to handle it. yah everyone is eager  for this to be listed on exchanges because it'll be tradable and we can finally see the price fluctuations, more

chances for the price to rise.
3615  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: New user: Transfer stuck in pending over 22 hours on: July 31, 2017, 12:52:36 PM
I knew this was about Coinbase the second I saw the title!

I dont know if this is only FUD but a Bitcoin developer of Peter Todd's stature wouldnt spread any FUD to malign any Bitcoin exchange unless it was called for.

https://twitter.com/petertoddbtc/status/891662660454010881

A very lame reason to hide something, i don't know what their trying to do but most probably they're trying to steal the BCC's of their users.

Nah even if the person who posted is not highly reputable in the crypto world people would certainly believe it if they have their common sense intact.

How can there be a congestion particularly on july 29, 2017--the day they posted it on twitter where its still two days away from august first.
3616  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When to invest on btc and eth on: July 31, 2017, 07:33:00 AM
I think you need to wait until passed August, it can be risky to try to make trading in this week, all of the things is still unstable, the price of Bitcoin is also not really stable, wait until Bitcoin to stabilize then you can take your action whether you want to invest in Bitcoin or eth or other coins

yah don't do any trading that involves bitcoin, wait until the situation gets better although i think it'll be no problem to trade altcoins to altcoins or altcoins to fiat and vice versa.

and you should only buy when its dumping, you could have bought eth because its currently dumping but i suggest no bitcoin transactions for now. that goes for bitcoin as well,

buy when it dumps just don't expect a huge dump because it might no happen thus resulting in opportunity loss.

3617  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the best way to use Bitcoin in Trading? on: July 29, 2017, 10:28:10 PM
There are many ways to trade your bitcoins. For you what is the best?
Well, I guess the better and good way I think is use our bitcoin in the exchange platform to buy some other altcoins which is a legit one then its up for the traders if they're gonna trade it for a short or long terms to get profit in the long run. Wink
I am sorry in advance but I don’t think so it’s sagacious to buy altcoins for bitcoins. It’s good to do trading at famous exchanges with bitcoins but buying altcoins or any other coin is not a good move. Personally I feel that bitcoins are an epic asset. One should keep them for as much time as possible. When prices are high, and then convert them to fiat.

And why do you think its a bad idea to buy altcoins? Do you got any proof that bitcoin is a guarateed one? This crypto world is just on its beginning stage thats why to take

advantage on all of its opportunities as much as possible you need to be open mined about it and the things that surrounds it because it'll constantly change, the rise  of the other

cryptocurrencies was also a part of it. well a person who knows about that won't say what you said but not everyone who knows had been a trader but at least they recognized its

potential--that its profitable. trading bitcoin to altcoin or vice versa has been profitable for most people as well as me--probably the best source of my crypto income as of now.
3618  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Lets Make a Facebook Group Chat for Traders on: July 29, 2017, 04:08:57 PM
Its good idea to create a trading groupeb , i hope to creat the same groupe in slake .

not a good idea in my opinion because it'll just be another fud and hype group. if its mainly informative its good like fuds and hypes are forbidden but sadly no has the time to

moderate a chat group for free right? but then again people spreading misleading things is always inevitable on that particularly on newbies as they tend to be swayed easier  to

add on i really think that there'll be a bunch of them on that particularly the annoying ones looking for quick moneys
3619  Economy / Exchanges / Re: So today i moved from polo to bittrex on: July 29, 2017, 02:54:58 PM
Poloniex has one of the worst support teams, I've heard stories of accounts trading around in high volumes being closed indefinitely without any reasons. For an exchange as big as polo, they should at least possess an able support team which still isn't the case.

Bittrex, on the other hand has a flawless support team with very fast response times. That is why I prefer Bittrex over Polo as the major exchange I use.

Damn straight. i don't know why the larger a service provider gets the more it gets to the opposite of it-- i mean polo has the highest trading volume when it comes to altcoins, if

i were them i should maintain it but polo seems to be going the opposite--moving backwards i guess. this is just a guess but if this continues it'll only be a matter of time before

bittrex becomes the exchange with the highest volume.
3620  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where to trade on August 1 on: July 29, 2017, 10:02:54 AM
The developers of some wallet advise the users to abstain from depositing and withdrawing coins during August 1.
This is to prevent some glitch during the correction.
So maybe in some exchanges they also advise to stop trading even with altcoin.
And its a good indicator that these devs have concerns to us for not to lose our coins.
And yeah better to have a take a break from this and go back after the drama ends.

in fact there is a big chance that they will freeze deposits and withdrawals for the mean time so now is your time to withdraw or deposit. but i think trading altcoin will be fine on

august 1 since it has nothing to do with bitcoin and if you read the guidelines there is no such thing that keeping an altcoin in an exchange is risky is discouraged to do.

then again its also better to just sit and wait until its over although its understandable that people want to take advantage if a dump occur on august first.
