3641  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My trading strategies on: April 20, 2021, 06:03:59 PM
First am not a pro trader, but my trading techniques have proven fundamentals. I recycled around Bitcoin and some handful of good altcoins; I trade with a hand full of funds since altcoins and the bitcoin market move in the opposite direction; I fill my bags with altcoins when the alt markets are down against Bitcoin and sell them when the market is on the rise to buy bitcoin which will be on a downtrend at that moment.

This technique has worked for me over the years.
So, right now you are trading bitcoin or altcoins? Because, I am seeing except dogecoins all other coins were falling yesterday and today even dogecoins also joining the bearish trend. As per your strategy, when bitcoin is falling, altcoins needs to be into bull trend but I am not seeing anything like that which includes ethereum as well. So, I am just curious to know what you are buying and what you are shorting right now.
3642  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How Bitcoin almost made me rich on: April 20, 2021, 08:04:58 AM
from your story, hopefully, everyone can learn to respect their private keys and passwords. For those who have been stuck in the high prices of 2018 then maybe Bitcoin has been a disappointment, but don't ever turn away from Bitcoin because surely the price will continue to rise.
Taking care of basics of security and ensuring about the restoration options are more important in any field and when you are dealing in crypto currencies then you must take care of all the basics very first hand.

These days making sure of backing up wallet file/privatekeys/seeds are more important so that even you will be losing access to your wallet for some reason then you will get chances to recover your funds by privatekeys/seeds. When you're failing to do proper back up, then you need to forget all your saving because without them you could never access your saving.
3643  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it possible to double capital in 2 months? on: April 20, 2021, 06:46:40 AM
there are actually a lot of successful trader who managed to not just doubled their capital in short period of time but multiple times. It is just not easy as even you focus on observing how each token price moved there is still a chance of losing the next day instead of profiting. A good research and understanding how crypto trading works will help but might not still be an assurance.
I believe you for those successful traders, it has become possible because they are not randomly trading but trading the coins which are having high volume and good fundamental. When you are choosing the right coins than half of the job has been already done. Because only with such coins, you can easily understand market fluctuations which must be more important for timely decision making. I agree it is possible to double the capital in less than two months but not possible for all the people but only for experienced traders.
3644  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance has problems with connections with today crash on: April 19, 2021, 06:16:04 PM
Today, Binance shown that they have technical problems with the market crash. Within 10 to 30 minutes, it was super hard to submit orders and get it successfully loaded on the market orders.

It happened with Binance since the beginning of bitcoin bull run. Honestly I respect the quality and creativity that Binance run their services and some products that create trend in crypto. Today problems recall me the same with Poloniex and Bittrex in 4 years ago bull run.

I hope in this bull run, the market will have another new outstanding exchange.
It is usually a normal thing that happens to exchanges sometimes, it has also happened to Coinbase, so it’s not like Binance is the first that it is happening to. It is just with time they are going to see a solution to it and improve. And moreover, you have to understand all these are technology, there will also be times that a website will be down due to one issue or the other, it happens everywhere, and it is not an issue that can’t be solved, just the time that it is going to take. I believe that they are functioning properly right now, cause the issue has been resolved.
3645  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase secures eSports partnerships on: April 19, 2021, 02:41:23 PM
Coinbase are so damn serious this year to push their platform and that’s very nice. They have really been doing enough and they have mostly been in the news more than other exchanges and platforms that has to do with cryptocurrency.

I am expecting this kind of energy from every other platform, if they are all going to be pushing like this, it is going to help the community and we are definitely going to have more and more people joining the community and investing their money which will also help the community to be growing and also lead to more increase in the price bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies there are in the market.
3646  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC reached ATH 62K - are we on another milestone, 100K? on: April 18, 2021, 08:55:20 PM
I am also hoping for a repear cycle for me to actually make FU money
I haven't done much investing this year just waiting on BTC. I am hoping for 100K but I want to get out as close to the cycle top I can and wait 2 years to rebuy  Thats the plan anyhow
That's all we want, if we can get that money we would be either in bitcoin or out of bitcoin but in the end we will be at the FU stage and can do whatever we want. I am planning on getting to an amount where I can do that, take out some bitcoins to handle everything in my regular life, unfortunately health is a problem for me but so far I had no problem paying them all, but I want to have enough saved aside for anything future as well, with all of that in mind if I have that money saved aside, I would be basically capable of keeping the rest in bitcoin as an investment as well and do whatever I want.

This is why I keep investing into bitcoin, and I hope one day it reaches 500k, it doesn't have to be today, I know it may take 10 even 20 years, and I am fine with that, I am still young so I can wait that long, but when it happens it will be the best day of my life.
3647  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Percent gains and losses on crypto on: April 17, 2021, 09:02:55 AM
That’s what it is going to do, it is just going put everything together, but in the Coinbase app you’re going to see the transactions history where you can go through your purchases and know at what prices you bought from and the rest of them.

And also when you send the coins you bought from Coinbase to your ledger address, if you check for the transaction on blockchain using the transactions ID, it shows how many BTC you bought and their worth at the time you sent it. But it is best that you’re the one keeping these records if that’s what you’re interested in. Don’t wait for them to do it for you.
3648  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Anybody here sell their Gold to buy Bitcoin? on: April 15, 2021, 10:31:22 PM
Anyone else here convert their Gold to Bitcoin?
Kinda having a hard time parting ways with my coins.
There's something to be said about touching Gold coins.
They're heavier than you think..
They have a nice ringing tone to them when tapped.
Fun to look at.. older ones have a history to tell.

Maybe I'm alone in this feeling.. 14+ years of collecting coins is hard to let go, but ultimately I got into it to have an insurance in case
of economic collapse and security.. also to make a profit.
Seems like Gold may be taken out by Bitcoin in a few short years.
Right now bitcoin is my favorite investment to make. I have invested in gold once and that was my first investment in 2014, and I later sold my gold and then I started investing in bonds and they were not really something I liked.

I had plans to get back to gold investment, before I stumbled on Bitcoin while I was doing a completely different research, and I picked interest in it and decided to look further into it and after that, by late 2015 I was ready to start investing in Bitcoin and it has been the best investment. Gold is also good, and I guess if I never discovered bitcoin when I wanted to quit investment in bonds, I would have been investing in gold by now.
3649  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth to invest in Tezos in 2020 on: April 15, 2021, 10:07:06 PM
Well!! The crypto market is booming really well in the crypto space, as one of the altcoin called tezos is performing really good.

Several crypto experts assume that tezos have the potential to the its show ability in the upcoming years.
Read https://coinpedia.org/price-prediction/tezos-xtz-price-prediction/

Let me know your point of view on this?
I haven’t invested in Tezos for a long time now, but if I can remember very well, earlier around December of last year and going into the start of this year, the position of Tezos in the market was 19th position, but right now the position is 29th, that shows that it has taken ten steps back from it’s former position of 19th, wow, so a lot of coins really have overtaken it in the race.

Tezos has always been slow, but steady. It’s good to see the growth so far, because it has more than doubled with its current rate of over $6 and a bigger market cap of $4 billion. So, it’s definitely an investment that will be worth making, even though it might not be as big as the other investments that are rocking heavily.
3650  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Tutorial website for blockchain on: April 15, 2021, 09:49:52 PM
Do we have a tutorial website for blockchain. Can you give me site with lots of blockchain related tutorials example: how to create NFT, how to create crypto mobile wallet.
I think most of the videos you’re going to have to pay for online on websites like Udemy can be gotten for free on other platforms like YouTube, although you might have to be doing some deep research to find exactly what you’re looking for.

The good thing about the platforms where you have to pay for them is that the particular subject you want to learn will have everything about it arranged in one package and you will learn everything that you’re supposed to learn, unlike YouTube where you will have to be searching for them and might not even be aware of some important things you have to learn and ignore them. You can find courses about blockchain on all these platforms.
3651  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you define a good exchange? on: April 15, 2021, 09:31:12 PM
Most of exchange at this time are complex and it is really hard to understand the interface. I prefer simple interface and high security of our assets. Low transaction fees, fast support team, simple user friendly interface is needed to build a good exchange.
I'm not finding any of crypto exchanges are complex to understand its interface. Because almost all the exchanges are having similar layout and UX which makes easier for all the new people to get start trading without any guidelines. Probably you are talking about some exchange which I have never visited, I guess.

In my opinion, exchanges which are honest and processing withdraw requests on time must be good exchanges because I will not be having any problem to clear KYC and other similar things.
3652  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Experience with Trading Bots on: April 15, 2021, 09:03:50 PM
I have tried many bots and I have managed to make some profits with the help of them but after some period of time all bots turned ineffective like they are not good at all market conditions but frequency of trading got reduced considerably against how it was in the beginning days.
I have read always most bots will be working like this in long run because bots are just programming codes which cannot be coping up with ever-changing different market conditions; but it would be much better instead of getting you false signals, your bots are not at all generating any signal; at least this way your capital will be secured.

I had plans to buy bots at many times because of lack of time to trade by myself but instead of risking with bots then I decided to invest only on bitcoin for holding purposes and not for trading purposes.
3653  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin marketcaps might hit $1 Quad. as Coinbase is listed on Nasdaq on: April 15, 2021, 08:35:08 PM
I couldn't see any major shifts on the world's economy that would make a $1 quad crypto market a reality. Perhaps hyperinflation? But that usually solves itself, too.
After getting know about the current marketcap of gold, I realize how big is quadrillion and this way OP is not making sense. There are very less possibility for bitcoin market to be reaching such huge marketcap.

But, we cannot say anything about the future when some governments will be discovering more number of goldmines and all the investments from gold will be shifting into bitcoin then this kind of marketcap may happen. But if you ask about the possibility then I would say it will be around 0.001%
3654  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: It's the easiest to trade when you aren't trading on: April 15, 2021, 06:39:20 PM
Well, I did the same thing that you did. I have not tried day trading before in the cryptocurrency market because I am afraid of day trading assets since my experience with Forex and Binary Options were very bad, so I decided to stay clear from anything that has to do with trading ,so since I got to know about cryptocurrency , starting with bitcoin, I have always made sure that what I am doing is just to invest and HODL the money till there is an increase in the market and I can sell and withdraw my money.

I was able to get in at $6k and sold when the price got to $12k cause I felt that would be the highest it would go. When the price started going up and reached $17k decided to buy again and the I held till $45k and sold half of it because I felt like the price has increased too much. But since it kept moving, I haven’t sold the remaining coins I have.
3655  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BNB will remain valuable for a long time on: April 15, 2021, 06:53:21 AM
While BNB appeals to the wider crypto users because the binance smartchain currently seem to have overcome the biggest issue that most cryptocurrency users have with bitcoin ethereum and the ERC 20 blockchain tokens. This problem is the speed of transaction and and the cost of transactions.
This is a problem  that BSC currently solves, and while a lot of people might argue that BNB is not a fully decentralized coin, i think it is worth noting that a lot of users dont care much for how decentralized  a coin or token is, they just want the solutions they it offers.
This is why i think BNB an the BSC will remain very valuable in years to come
You just said the truth about majority of the crypto users, they really don’t care about the decentralization, they just care about whether it’s going to suit their needs for transactions and whatsoever else they want, as long as it is a solution for them they are definitely going for it and they are not looking back when they start making use of it.

So, as to whether the BNB is going to keep growing, that is for sure, it is going to keep on adding more value everyday, because a lot of people are going to be investing in it and nothing else. And with the situation of bitcoin and Ethereum now, a lot of people will going for BNB.
3656  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When do you think bear market will come? on: April 14, 2021, 09:26:29 PM
When do you think bear market will come and why do you think so?
I do not think that it will come anytime soon, but at the same time I do not believe that its long way away neither. We started this increase around October, it has been around 6 months or so, and that means its doing great right now, but I do not think that it will go another 6 months neither. I think we will keep going up until summer, and during sometime this summer we will start to see bitcoin having a bit of trouble going even higher, we have gone so much high these days that I do not think that we will have any similar increases again.

We have gone up about x6 and then some, if you look at previous year we were even under 10k so we can say we increased as much as x10, I do not think that we could ever go x10 this quickly ever again unless it drops super low which I think it won't. This is why it will have hard time going higher in the near future.
3657  Economy / Gambling / Re: Chips.gg |🎰 100k Event | Daily New Slots | on: April 14, 2021, 09:05:21 PM
I think you are right to a certain things but I wouldn't say that only the rich people have the ability to keep gambling, I know some dirt poor people in my place and they are in the gambling house all day 24/7. I wouldn't say it is not a bad thing because that money could've gone to a better cause like free housing for homeless or soup kitchens, there are a lot of problems that these rich people could solve but they choose the vices.
I wanted to say that the idea was basically rich people can keep gambling longer than poor people and that was the point. Sure poor people can gamble so much that they could lose their cars, houses even get to a point where they will lose jobs, loved ones and more. However even if a poor person goes as much as to a point they are homeless without a single person in their life and a single dollar to their name, they still can't reach to rich peoples levels, and that's just a fact.

I can sell every single thing I ever own right now, and it still wouldn't be nowhere near the levels of these people, literally every single thing I own would not be worth the amount these people are putting up. This is why I understand that poor people could gamble more and more if they are not careful and that's a bad thing, but even in that situation they are not gambling like rich people.
3658  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what way to take profit ? on: April 14, 2021, 07:40:31 PM
There are still many coins that are on the market for a long time, we can take sufficient profits there, of course with high risks that must be faced, in trade and investment we must have a stronger fortopolio, meaning that where our coins are already profitable, we need to sell them for get results.

And don't be greedy, it will usually be stuck at a low price later.
This is what exactly where I am having big confusion because when I'm not greedy then I am exiting too early at the same time when I am waiting for more time for bigger profits then market is coming down unexpectedly. For example, I failed to sell my BCH when it was trading at around 0.3 BTC but it is trading more than 10x lower to that price levels.

Definitely we must need good knowledge on where to book profits and for which coins we should wait more. When we are not having that kind of knowledge then definitely we must need to undergo suffering by losing good opportunities.
3659  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Saving asset in bitcoin is much more better than saving in banks on: April 14, 2021, 04:47:39 PM
I just got to find out the importance of saving asset in bitcoin. As of last year October I just decided to split my savings into two and used half of it to buy bitcoin then took half to bank and deposited as fixed deposit which means I won't be taking the money for a period of time and bank will in return be giving me little percentage which I will take as profit, recently I tried comparing the profit I get from both bank and bitcoin, I found out the profit I got from bank is way low compared to what I got from bitcoin, then I decided to stop keeping my assets  in banks rather I keep it in bitcoin which later turns out to be an investment for me.
Wouldn’t be bad if you still continue with splitting it and keeping some of them bank while the rest goes to bitcoin. Bitcoin is good and the percentage of return can be high at times, but that shouldn’t be the reason why you would be investing or saving all your money in Bitcoin, because there are still times that the market can be really bad, although this year have been different and we haven’t experienced any of those really bad bear markets or corrections that pushes the market to plummeting to a very low price. So you have to be very careful of what you’re buying .
3660  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tenants to pay rent with bitcoin on: April 14, 2021, 04:34:46 PM
In recent times so many exciting events/news have been happening with bitcoin,  we have seen how bitcoin have gain institutional adoption with Tesla taking the lead and the installation of bitcoin ATMs for easy access to the digital global currency BTC.
The latest is a real estate firm optioning for tenants to pay rent using bitcoin.
https://www.cnbc.com/2021/04/07/rick-carusos-company-to-begin-accepting-rent-payments-in-bitcoin.html?utm_term=Autofeed&utm_medium=Social&utm_content=Crypto&utm_source=Facebook#Echobox=1617831770
This indeed are great indications of bitcoin mainstream adoption/usage.
I know there are lots of people who wouldn’t call this a big news because they are expecting bigger and mainstream companies to start adopting bitcoin before they will regard the adoption. They are all forgetting that it is little things like this one that makes the change, it has to start with the small companies first doing it and by the time there are many of them small companies that are accepting , it will become the new trend and you will start seeing the bigger companies talking about accepting it too.

So, we should also be happy when we see these small companies accepting it, that’s going to help with promoting Bitcoin and increasing the rate at which people adopt it.
