3921  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading crypto is a different ball game on: September 05, 2020, 08:34:06 AM
Wall Street people are very upset about bitcoin just because of this reason. They are so used to the fact that they are the ones making and breaking companies that having absolutely no power over bitcoin upsets them.

Let’s talk about giant companies, Amazon, facebook, apple they are all huge, however if tomorrow all shareholders decide to sell their positions in these companies they would make the owners a lot poorer, and I mean a lot, or their customers could stop working with them, buy Samsung instead, use twitter instead (or tiktok or whatever) or simply buy from ebay instead and these companies will go down and bankrupt, even though they are huge they are still vulnerable. Bitcoin is not like that, as long as people who wants bitcoin exists, it will always be high and whales can't decide for us on this one.

Where are the fans of Ja Morant? got some pretty good news!
-
He deserved that recognition, no doubt about it. It cannot be Zion not unless he had matched Ja's effort the entire regular season. I just wonder, who's the guy who didn't give him first place vote  Grin, and what in the world is he thinkin' to vote it down on Zion Huh Don't get me wrong, I'm not mad though I just can't help but to think 'bout his opinion.
You know what is even weirder about the situation. Ja Morant got 99 first place votes out of 100 possible which is probably one of the highest but there could be more, and that is not bad at all, I can really see that. However Zion Williamson got that one vote for the first place, the person who didn't voted for Ja gave his vote to Zion and he finished third as well, dude became the third best rookie of the year based on votes.

Zion literally played in 24 games only for the whole season and even though it was just a short season Ja played in almost every game I think while Zion only had 1/3 amount of games, not like Zion blew the competition away, Ja was a lot more important to Grizz than Zion was ever to Pelicans. I can't believe how much hyped this kid is, even without properly playing he got a rookie of the year vote.
3923  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It is not easy to make money in cryptocurrency on: September 05, 2020, 06:36:40 AM
It is a very brand new thing, we are trying to make it go up a lot higher because we want to have a crypto world and we want to get rich like the people who invested few years ago got rich, but to be honest financial world doesn't make you rich that fast.

Stock market doesn't, gold doesn't, forex doesn't, nothing makes you super rich that quickly, you have to invest into it over time in order to make money. Same goes for crypto as well, you are not going to get rich over night most of the time, there is a 0.0001% chance that happens but you should focus on the other part, bitcoin is really just a way to save money for your future, you will not lose your wealth and store of value for bitcoin will allow you to keep your saved money higher than inflation so you can buy stuff in the future too.

Site Profit Over Time

That’s a cool thing to see that you have made over 21% profit in about 2 months of time, that means on average it is around 10% per month and that is around 120% a year on average, meaning you can double even 2.5x your profits here if you keep your money invested.

Now don't get me wrong there will be times when a whale comes in and takes away a lot of money from the bankroll however considering there is house edge, I believe there will be counter parts where whales lose a lot as well which will balance things out.

Obviously this is just a two month thing and I am sure over time we can see a lot better, a 6 month or even a 12 month trial would give a lot better and clear answers but at the time what we have right now shows that it is quite good actually and worthy of a good investment.
3925  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM |Deposit 777 play with 1777 mBTC |Live Casino, Slots, Betting on: September 04, 2020, 08:10:53 AM
This is the way how every casino should be working, either this is too good or it is too good to be true. Fortunejack got a complaint and a feedback about a situation on their website, they saw it and fixed it and paid the guy who reported it as a thanks-giving, what the hell can you do better?

This is literally the way to go and beyond, they have done an incredible job. I mean they didn't give us any reason not to believe them, but the simple check would be to see if @webtricks actually got the money and to see if it is really fixed which should be easy to check.

Fortunejack is really not just some crypto startup type thing, it is actually a business with business people in it, they are really professional and they do everything they suppose to do perfectly.
3926  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Akon's cryptocity in senegal could work on: September 04, 2020, 04:59:22 AM
We should look at the main purpose he’s doing it, he’s trying to create something different and show the leaders an example of how things should be, the Akon city as planned should be a city that will serve as an example.

I’m strongly hoping that if the project is successful that a lot of leaders, not just in Africa, but around the world would take a step towards making their countries a better place, especially in Africa where the government is fond of neglecting things and only stuffing their greedy pockets. He’s doing a great job, and this will also help to spread cryptocurrency in Africa and make the people to adopt it. It’s a very good idea.
3927  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it time to think of cash and bank deposits as different currencies? on: September 04, 2020, 04:23:26 AM
Where did you see or hear that the government wants to replace the current monetary system with pseudo cryptocurrency? I have never heard that, not in my own country, and I don’t think that there is any government around the world that has plans to replace their conventional currency with cryptocurrency.

The only country talking about cryptocurrency was China but no one is talking about that any longer, and when they release their cryptocurrency it’s likely going to be like other countries that created their cryptocurrency and abandoned it. Bitcoin is like the main thing people are interested. And anything that’s coming from the government should still be considered as fiat, if they create cryptocurrency they are going to link it with banks.
3928  Economy / Economics / Re: Are people losing faith from centralized organizations? on: September 03, 2020, 07:34:48 PM
When exactly did that happen? If that was report earlier this year, then it was because of the Coronavirus. When the coronavirus started and there was about to be a lockdown, a lot of banks in my country were saying the same that there were more withdrawals than deposits, and I think people were trying to withdraw money to buy food stuffs and other things they will need, because the government said that the lockdown will be for a month, so people were rushing to banks to take their money and buy the things they will need. Around that time any day I’m going out I would see crowds in front of banks early in the morning waiting for the bank to open so they can take their money.

Of course, it is worth responding to the claims of such a person. In addition, from the very beginning, it is unclear whether he is a Troll or not. However, if you see that a person is a fraud and writes messages in order to Troll others, then I would recommend sending such posters to ignore and do not respond to their messages.
I feel like "don't feed the troll" is a real thing, it is not really a hidden fact or anything, it is actually a proved to be working method. If you ignore trolls and if you just let it be, they have to leave, now if there is cyber bullying and there are hundreds of people mocking you for something that could be hard to ignore, however if it just one person trying to get attention, as long as you ignore them they will leave.

Remember gambler-protect or whatever his name was? Dude was around the gambler world all the time trying to sabotage or blackmail his way to wealth and bothered casinos as a living, that was literally his way of making money, dude is banned and gone and nobody even remembers him that much, over time nobody will remember him. So, just ignore them and they will be gone out of your lives eventually.
3930  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: US Presidential Election 2020 on: September 03, 2020, 05:42:16 PM
betting odds are showing the same thing. biden and trump are basically neck and neck in the odds now. i expected a trump recovery but not so quickly! https://odds.watch/trump-2020

anyway, this kind of atmosphere bolsters biden's chances in my mind. another trump victory just like 2016? that sounds a little too predictable.

You have a point there. Back in 2016, most of the people expected Hillary to win easily. Especially the Democrat voters stayed at home and didn't bothered to vote. That is not the case now. Trump and Biden are neck to neck now... and what happened four years back is not going to repeat. Turnout is going to be high, but I am worried about the impact the pandemic can have.
I hate it when people talk about 2016 and how Hillary was leading all the polls and even the odds and how in 2020 Biden is leading both of them again and people keep saying "well that means nothing same happened in 2016 as well".

First of all people hated Hillary Clinton way more than everyone hates Biden, he is not as bad as she was so that is out of question to begin with.

Secondly and more importantly, the difference is we had 4 years of Trump, we had a presidency that was filled with corrupt and fascist movement that saw more and more innocent people dead and we have seen him literally do nothing about the pandemic and over a quarter million of Americans dead because of trump. So, please do not come up with 2016 and 2020 similarities, there are none, Biden will win this easily not because Biden is such a great candidate, but because Trump is evil resurrected.
3931  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are we cheated by some good altcoins? on: September 03, 2020, 04:36:30 PM
The top 150 coinmarketcap listed the coin "Insolar coin". 1 billion supply coin increase from 500 million ERC-20 token supply. Actually ERC-20 token supply was 50 million then for swap holders got 10 times more XNS coins. But this XNS won't unlock for 3 years. My friend got only 2 XNS after 6 months of swap. We're being forced to hold altcoins when Dev releases supply. Already delisted from so many exchanges. What are your thoughts?

(I don't find the same topic as this coin)
You already said it yourself, the coin was deleted by so many exchanges so what else makes you think that you should keep on believing in the coin? It’s fake and you know that already, being deleted by exchanges is a sign. And apart from that I don’t see why they would lock the tokens so that investors wouldn’t be able to use or exchange it at first, that’s a clear sign that they are scammers.

Being listed on top 150 doesn’t mean that it’s a good coin, it can be a bad coin and still come out on top the list. That’s why you have to be very careful when you’re buying any coin. Don’t be too quick to believe everything you see, ask questions and do proper research.
3932  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Police reportedly seize South Korea's largest crypto exchange Bithumb on: September 03, 2020, 02:23:27 PM
Big cryptocurrency companies should always be careful and avoid doing things that will rub their names on the mud.
A cryptocurrency as big as that , that knows a lot of people in that country and also from around the world trust and rely on them shouldn’t be messing around like this.

Someone pointed out that this might be what caused the decrease in Bitcoin and some other cryptocurrencies because some people would have sold their coins immediately they saw the headline. The government don’t joke when it comes to matters like this, and if they don’t find ways to settle the problem, they wouldn’t like what follows, they are likely to be running out of business.
3933  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Some Influencers Are Not Helping on: September 03, 2020, 01:25:20 PM
What you have to understand is that not everyone is here because they love Bitcoin or the Blockchain technology, majority of them are interested in the money, especially the whales. These whales are aware that they can pump the market with their money and that’s their plan, and since most of them are influencers they can invest lots of money and then convince their followers to invest and once people are in, they will dump it on them.

These rich dudes keep playing with people and most of them still don’t know by now that they are getting played. Bitcoin is now huge and they can’t manipulate it that much, so they are shifting to altcoins, those ones are very easy to manipulate as long as they have money.
3934  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: September 02, 2020, 05:12:49 PM
It is going to be very late here so I can't watch the game, I planned on sleeping earlier so that I can wake up and watch the game but honestly I am too old to do that anymore, it was a fun thing when I was younger but not anymore, when I do that I get sleep deprived and I start to be horrible for the following few days because when the game is over I sleep again and I wake up very late and now I gotta adjust all my day.

However if I were to bet any, I would bet OKC as well, we all know that Houston either overpowers their opponents or they just choke, for the last 5 seasons or so they have choked on playoffs so many times, the spurs game, the famous 27 misses in a row game, they are known for that, it is not size or talent, it is choking that kills them. I say OKC gets it this game.
3935  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: September 02, 2020, 03:48:24 PM
I seldom use this kind of strategy, I often use the normal ones, the last one I remembered using this bet is winning 4 straight bettings at an initial bet of 50k sats.  I would have restarted but then you know, trying to push my luck and end up losing the streak lol.

I also like crash and for the moment, I am in profit, but it can turn quickly  Grin. Everytime, I think I found a certain pattern in the crash game, it changes.
It is a fun game, but you need to take your profit when you can.
Pattern? Theres no such thing yet everything can really be on random but i cant really deny the fact that when you do play a certain game you would really have these kinds of observation and then you do
test it on later until you do say that its working or not but to think that everything is just basing on pure luck knowing about crash games.

Dont let your hopes that high and consider yourself lucky when you do end up on green because theres a time that those winnings would turn out to red.
I agree, crash result is all randomness, there is no such pattern in it, the moment we believe there is a pattern that is when we lose our bankroll, happens to me several times.
Unfortunately there is no pattern because if there was one that would be a lot of profit for the customers and those gamblers would have abused it to the level they would bankrupt any casino in the world, doesn't matter if it s crypto, you could be huge Las Vegas biggest casino in the world type and if a player finds a loophole they will try to make a profit as much as they can until they bankrupt you.

That is why there is card counting on blackjack that is technically not illegal but if casinos find out you do that they will give you your money (they have to) but they will send you away and not allow you to continue to play after they realize you are doing it. Which is why there is no pattern, if there was they would have fixed it up with a patch already anyway.
3936  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do I connect my mobile Electrum Wallet to my Bitpay App on: September 02, 2020, 02:50:35 PM
Can anyone explain to me how can I "connect" my mobile Electrum Wallet to my Bitpay mobile wallet, in order to load my Bitpay debit Mastercard???
I hope to hear from you very soon!!!!  Layman Terms Please.
I also make use of the BitPay wallet and you can’t link an Electrum wallet to a BitPay wallet. The only wallet that can be linked to a BitPay wallet is the Coinbase, and it’s not really Coinbase wallet, rather you will be linking your Coinbase account to be able to deposit and withdraw from your BitPay wallet. That’s the only thing you can do with BitPay and nothing else.

If you want to load your card, and you have money in your Electrum wallet, then you should money to your BitPay address and then load your debit card. There is no other way you can do that, because it doesn’t work the way you think
3937  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Bitcoin Experiment: A documentary about how real world is on a death spiral on: September 02, 2020, 01:47:58 PM
Everyone is free to say whatever they want to say, as for me, I am already tired of all these people that are making it seem like Bitcoin and cryptocurrency is the end to our problem.

Due to things like these , when some people meet me to know about Bitcoin, they always think that it is means for them to become millionaires, and some of them even ask me why I am not a millionaire yet, and that’s because of what they have read online, they are made to believe that Bitcoin is the solution to every problem in the world. That you’re making use of Bitcoin doesn’t automatically make you rich or better than other people, you can still go very broke.
3938  Other / Off-topic / Re: It's time to destroy China, don't buy anything from them ,don't deal with them on: September 02, 2020, 10:16:53 AM
Uuhm am I the only one that clicked on the YouTube link that the op posted? Seriously, I thought that was a link to a video that proves that the Chinese were behind the coronavirus, only to click the link and it was just a freaking track from Resident Evil that was posted eight years ago... Damn, this is why I hate clicking on links on this forum.

You’ve got to be serious, you should have just provided a link that proves what you’re saying, I just don’t get why you’re posting a resident evil track on YouTube. No one is happy about what has happened, but there is really no proof about the Chinese creating the virus yet. And from what I know, their Communist government is always controlling them, they don’t even have freedom in their own country. So, don’t start fighting people who are innocent.
3939  Economy / Economics / Re: New life and 2 lind of society new Reality working poor on: September 02, 2020, 09:42:34 AM
I’m still searching for the information that you claimed you’re giving out for free, I don’t seem to find any useful information from your post. People are just so funny, I thought you even wanted to share some vital information that will be helpful and you just kept talking about poor people and middle class people. And what makes you think that the middle-class will get poor and the poor will get rich?

In a situation like the world is going through right now, the poor people are more likely to get even more poor. The rich people are the ones that has been getting more rich at this time.
3940  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bounce Back is coming? on: September 02, 2020, 08:39:31 AM
Bounce back of market with cryptocurrency is quite common. In recent days what we experience is gradual growth in the market. A bounce back is possible with the whales move, and these days cryptocurrency users are used to it understanding the market. Upon the same there is no big fluctuation with the market.
Whales can totally manipulate the price of the market but that’s not healthy and we should go up because of many good news and many adoption, not just a hype.

Its normal to experience correction and now the trend is going up again and we are challenging the resistance level so if we are able to stay above the price of $12k, then another target will be reach. If you’re already used on this kind of trend, you can make a lot of money riding the volatility.
Well, if you want whales to not be able to manipulate the market, you need to make sure that liquidity is super high and in billions, right now liquidity is high so that is why they are not manipulating too much but sometimes market gets bored of not moving so they get out and only the orders stay and active trader count drops a lot, when that happens whales come in and they start to trade bitcoin however they want and make it go up or go down depending on how they believe they could make the most money.

Just 2 months ago or so there was a situation where long futures were overbought compared to short but there was not that many buy orders so whales just sold a lot of coins and dropped the price from 11k to 9k again and that allowed them to pick up tons of profit from the futures market.
