3841  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Coin Shilling Question on: September 23, 2020, 06:05:33 AM
I don’t think it’s just about news posting about a coin; you don’t just run and invest in a token because a news website mentioned, because some of these media websites are paid by even the worst projects to write about them and they will do just that, if you keep rushing into them you will be misled.

But shilling coins do work to an extent and it has to be to a very level before you should invest in it; like it has to be a trend, something that everyone is talking about. Once it has gotten to that level and not just something that you saw on one news website, then it might be worth to invest in it. But don’t forget that you’re still taking a risk ,because a trend can still end at a anytime and you can be running a risk of FOMO. Be careful.
3842  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Sent USDT To ETH address on Coinbase, but coinbase doesn't support usdt! Help on: September 23, 2020, 05:33:17 AM
As the title says i sent USDT to ETH address from Coinbase i own and funds didn't arrive of course but now i can't retrieve them and support is saying that in my region they can only support self help so no help from them.
If i had private key i could somehow retreive it but i see they don't provide that so i don't know what to do...any help would appreciated. Thanks
I am not very sure about Coinbase, but I know for sure that blockchain.com allows users to send USDT to their Ethereum address, but that’s only ERC-20 based Tether, if you send a bitcoin based USDT (that’s the Omni tether) you’re not going to receive it.

But this is not really the same for every exchange, some exchanges will tell you to make sure that you’re sending USDT to your accurate Tether address on the exchange. And to avoid confusions like you have done now, if you want to receive USDT, please go to your wallet and copy from USDT as preferred address, don’t use Ethereum address when you’re no sure how your exchange works.
3843  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: i am building an online mall on: September 22, 2020, 07:24:22 PM
You have a really good idea with this mall thing. Just try to connect with a lot of sellers through as many means as possible and also try to promote even on social media, you will be able to get in touch with lots of sellers through all these platforms and many of them will be interested in working with you as long as you can get them the audience they will need. That’s another important thing; getting them the audience they need, if you move your online mall to a level where it will be recognized and have so many audience, a lot of people will be ready to partner with you as long as they are gaining from it. Good luck.
3844  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE.me - Crypto Casino 🎰 Now Accepting EOS | Roll Hunt | Bonuses on: September 22, 2020, 06:32:30 PM
I understand that bitdice has promised a lot of things and so far they haven't done half of the things they said they will do but that doesn't negate the fact that they are not really scammers and specially not in liquidation phase, that can't happen because they are running a casino and casino is something digital and the only thing they could potentially liquidate is a website and as long as someone is not running it, you can't liquidate that and that is why this is basically a false accusation based on just facts.

I have always said the same thing, complain about them being late to their promises, that is a valid reason to be mad but trying to make up stuff that can't feasibly happen is something only delusional people would do when there is a valid reason.
Yeah, it really makes no sense to try to claim bitdice is innocent and it is not a scam by the people, bitdice can defend themselves we should not be responsible to defend them somehow. Obviously I believe they are not scam at all, they are probably one of the oldest crypto casinos in the world and you may hate all the new stuff promises and coins and what not but as a casino they have never really disturbed anyone at all.

I have always known them to do the right thing and never had trouble withdrawing money as well so personally I believe they are not scam. However if someone claims it is scam, I do not see coming here and claiming they are not scam as a resolution, let bitdice deal with it because they will do it a lot better and could provide a lot more information.
3845  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 commission on LTC investments is at 35% till 31. Dec on: September 22, 2020, 04:33:18 PM
^Well, having it drop to 0.5% from 1% after the drop is not ideal and a bit too late because it should have happened before, but at the same time if it was 1% that wasn't really bad I have to agree, it turns out dude was just lucky.

I have seen plenty of places work with 1% and they didn't have anything like this, this dude must be one of the luckiest gamblers in the whole world, to earn 5000 ltc means he won 240k dollars which is really very rare if you think about it but he must be a huge whale who spent a ton of money to earn that money and just got lucky.

With now 0.5 it looks like the same logic applies, if 1 was 240k won, that means 0.5 could be 120k won or 2500 ltc and that would still hurt the bankroll a ton. Hope it averages out and bankroll will go back up but I see no foul play from yolodice at all.
3846  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: September 20, 2020, 04:52:15 PM
Celtics acted like they are a great three point team and when Miami threw them all the zone defense they failed to score as well as they have so far in the season and playoffs because they played against man to man or switch defense, usually these days switch is easier because everyone is similar in height except maybe centers and point guards but even they do end up switching as well, however when you play zone defense things get a lot harder and that is where Celtics got confused.

This game they tried more inside and that resulted with them scoring a lot easier as well, plus they played a lot harder defense as well, it was quite rigid and they really didn't budge so it was hard for Miami to score as easily. Hopefully this series gets more interesting, I do not support both teams so it is fun to watch them play no matter who wins or loses.
3847  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: India looking to Re-ban Bitcoin on: September 20, 2020, 01:42:10 PM
Looks like is India is going full circle and trying to ban Bitcoin  again after the supreme court over ruled the previous ruling by central bank of india in March.

They also seem to be taking the blockchain good bitcoin bad argument. Some governments just don't know when to stop.

Im guessing they will be another battle in the supreme court which will carry on for another 2-3 years ridiculous.
These people are really confused, at first it was legal and then they banned it, after they started going to court and later we saw on the news that it is legal after a long time. Now they want to start another battle in court on this same Bitcoin? Whoever is pulling these strings like this is very dumb, why don’t they just end this once and for all? And btw what’s wrong with Bitcoin, BTC is not bad and why are they fighting against it?

It is a rediculas matter that India once legalize and after few days think to ban. This circle has been continuing over the years. Majority politicians don't know about cryptocurrency or they don't understand truly what is cryptocurrency. A country Govt can take any decision, it is their legal rights. We  only can expect a good news from the Indian supremecourt.
Same supreme court that declared that Bitcoin is legal in India the last time? I am just confused as to why a supreme court would declare Bitcoin as legal, and some people will start up the same cases again, it just doesn’t make any sense to me.
3848  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buyin Crypto with Credit card on: September 20, 2020, 01:04:41 PM
If you’re going to be purchasing with your credit card , you have to be very careful of the site you’re going to be using, so that your information you give to them doesn’t leak. Using centralized exchanges to buy Bitcoin is usually slow, because it has to go through a lot of process. Some of them are making use of Simplex and sometimes it can take up to 24 hours for your Bitcoin to be loaded on your wallet.

I have tried purchasing through BitPay, Coinbase, and they are usually the same. So I make use of Paxful which is peer-to-peer, and I don’t have to bother about that. Apart from Paxful I also make use of LocalBitcoin, though I hardly use it because Paxful is more popular in my area.Sometimes,I buy from people direct, and those are people who are also into Bitcoin and they want to sell their bitcoin, I buy it from them. Then I make use LocalBitcoin.org.
3849  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: cryptocurency is real money real asset but why not insured? on: September 20, 2020, 10:25:53 AM
Cryptocurrency doesn’t need insurance since main purpose is to give you freedom, and that freedom means complete control over your wealth, and that means you will be the one running the risks for yourselves, without banks and other financial institutions.

So, don’t expect that there is going to be any insurance being given to you, you’re on your own when it’s cryptocurrency that we are talking, and there is a huge risks, another reason why you have to be careful with how much you’re storing in cryptocurrency, everything is all about risks. Try to make use of good wallets that are reliable, and know the pros and cons of the wallet to you’re using, and try to avoid the cons as much as possible.
3850  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't trade if you're inexperience rather stake your coins. on: September 20, 2020, 09:35:38 AM
Staking is a good thing to do, but not everyone is able to have the level of patience that it takes to stake your coin every year, so I guess that’s why they will continue to choose day trading or simply trading over staking their coins for a long period of time and getting something around 6 to 12 percentage.

Another thing some people wouldn’t like about staking is that if the price the token or coin that you’re staking falls, you’re going to be at loss, you can’t control it and your per annum returns might not be enough. Although I got to know of recent that there are some platforms that allows you to be able to stop staking at anytime, and that’s cool.
3851  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading without setting stop loss (Risky or Not)? on: September 19, 2020, 07:44:09 PM
You already made it clear that you are so good at it, so maybe you don’t need to be making use of stop-loss. And from what I have understood from reading, it seems you’re always there when you’re trading and watching the screen, so you may not really need to make use of stop loss.

People usually make use of stop loss when they have other things to focus after they have started a trade. The work of the stop-loss tool will be to end that  trade if things should go the wrong way. So it’s mostly important when you’re not there to be watching the chart. If you’re always there, then I think it’s unnecessary.

^I understand that people may switch to other places but this place is offering a lot more right now for what others are offering and also it is allowing it to be basically emptied, look at other places and you will see that it usually is not that much, you can be as rich as you want but because of the max cap they can't win almost all the bankroll there, which is why I think the big deal here would be to not drop the max cap to a level where it would make people leave, but lower it to a level where it is similar to other places so that nothing major would happen but still attract big names.
3853  Economy / Gambling / Re: ▄■▀■▄ 🌟BITVEST.io🌟 💰WIN BY 🔶PLAY 📈INVEST➡🔺🎲🎰🔲 | (NEW!) BETTING CONTESTS on: September 19, 2020, 05:28:49 PM
I feel like there needs to be something done regarding this constant drops, I mean sure it is not something any casino would want but considering this place uses others bankroll and not theirs, it is not really as hurtful to them as with other casinos, I doubt that places that uses their own bankroll would allow something like this, they must be a lot more careful because they can't just let people get tons of bitcoin earned from gambling without capping them at a place, otherwise they would run out of money and can't continue.

This means just because this is people bankrolled doesn't mean it should be allowed to lose this much neither. I do not know what the team and investors decide in the end but "let it be and it will be better eventually" doesn't sound like a sound plan.

When you do martingale you could always make money in the short run (obviously could end up losing on your first bets going losing streak as well) but the reality is that in the long run nooooo strategy makes profit, do not believe people who tell you that there is a strategy that makes profit, in gambling world casinos can profit thanks to you losing which is why there is no way you could make a profit if you continue to play forever, eventually you will lose it all.

But the smart money says that you should get in with a certain amount, play with it and stop if you lose it and do not continue, try this everyday and stop when you win a certain amount as well. For example get in with 100 dollars, stop at 300 dollars or when you run out and more often than not you could end up profiting on the long run. Knowing when to stop is 90% of the work.
3855  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM |Deposit 777 play with 1777 mBTC |Live Casino, Slots, Betting on: September 19, 2020, 03:29:15 PM
^ that I like alright, not just the Champions League promo but also the fact that you made this announcement rather than keeping us in the dark a bit longer  Smiley

looking forward to this! a little over a month before the tourney starts
Seriously when there is a promo there is attention because let’s be honest whatever we can get we will take it, no matter how much it is. If a game is 1.4 odds and I have a chance to make it 1.5 I will take that and be happy about it, the little amount of increases all makes everything beautiful. Obviously when you have something you can get in for free that would make things even sweeter because you are not spending any money.

What does the casino make from something that I do not spend any money on? They earn a user, maybe not all users, some of them were already here but there are people out there who do not play here but hear about the free entry thing and come here and play that and maybe stick around and deposit money and keep playing here because he liked it.
3856  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: September 18, 2020, 07:04:45 PM
The big fight in the locker room was probably something normal, I mean I have been involved with basketball teams before and I can tell you that when there is a big loss that you did not expected at all you end up being angry with each other, not because you dislike them or anything, they are your teammates and you love them but you get angry because everyone did a mistake, you yourself did as well but one has to speak up and knowing Marcus Smart and how he is a big faker he was the one who talked first and that rolled into bigger and bigger.

This is not something to worry about, all teams when they lose an important match has this type of situations, it is quite common in team sports. Obviously Miami is just playing on a whole another level right now so I think Celtics will have to yell a lot harder to each other because I do not see them winning this series.
3857  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I need advice about my portfolio, can someone help? on: September 18, 2020, 05:22:33 PM
My portfolio right now is divided into 50% Litecoin 30% Eth and 20% Bitcoin. I want to restructure it between these coins (Or other coins), What should I do? I tune in and out of the crypto markets pretty often so my knowledge isn't optimal.
Personally I would have gone with 50% for Bitcoin, 30% for the Ethereum (ETH), and 20% for the Litecoin (LTC). Bitcoin is like the powerhouse on this list, but the final decision is left for you. Apart from any other reason people might have about bitcoin, the Halving that took place means that there is probably going to be a bull run any time from now to next year.

So, it will be a good decision to make by investing part of your money in the Bitcoin, you will be standing a better chance to make profit, and Ethereum is the next that follows. Litecoin is doing good as well.
3858  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Classic was hit with another 51% attack on: September 18, 2020, 04:32:13 PM
Like seriously they allowed it to happen up to three times before they made up their mind to start looking for a solution?

Funny thing is that another 51% attack might take place as they are still looking for a solution, these people are joking around.

If they are serious about the business they are doing, immediately there was a first attack they would have quickly started looking for ways they are going to prevent further attacks, father rather they just kept cool until the third time. Those in charge of the Blockchain should always try to make sure that no mining pool will have up to 50% hashing power.
3859  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 commission on LTC investments is at 35% till 31. Dec on: September 18, 2020, 01:34:46 PM
If a person is capable of making too much profit from gambling, there is two things wrong and we all know it. Either the casino helps them, which is definitely not the case here I am sure, yolodice is as legit as it gets and they would never do something like that. Or that casino fails to cap the max bet properly.

I mean if a person can gamble so much that they can take out the bankroll, that means max win amount should have been 10% of what it is. No person should be capable of betting enough to take out all the profits, that shouldn't be possible, limitations obviously causes some whales to leave which means you wouldn't have high profits very quickly when they lose but that is a sacrifice you should be willing to take to prevent whales to take away all profit even make it go down.
3860  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Official betting partner of ARSENAL FC 🚀 on: September 17, 2020, 08:24:49 PM
What is exactly a "betting partner"? I mean I know the jersey things because on watford and southampton you guys basically have your name (and grateful to you that also bitcoin logo) but thats jersey sponsorship and something we are all commonly aware of.

However I personally (didn't want to talk about everyone) I have zero clue about what betting partner means, is it like a logo on the jersey or maybe logo on the sidelines of the games that you see when teams play? If you could explain it like we are idiots (to people like me, or just me) what it means, that would be awesome, at least I would have an idea of what that means and how much I should be excited about it. No matter what it is, having a deal with Arsenal is just unreal, premier league deal was already very very big, now to have a big name is just salvador dali level of shocking.
