3801  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting small amounts on a lot of matches or big amount on couple of matches? on: October 04, 2020, 01:37:17 PM
I run in to this same question for NFL often.  I have kind of gone through both "phases" throughout my gambling "career".  Personally I tend to perform better when I bet larger amounts on fewer games ( what I'm most confident in ) rather than try and spread out my "risk" on more games.  Just how it works out for me personally though.
Same for me but I usually bet on NBA games as I do not understand how NFL works  Cheesy.

I often think that betting high on points is way better than betting small during in-play because when the game is in-play you tend to get carried away when a player is performing good. For example I often want to bet on under market but when I see high scoring start in the 1st quarter I end up betting on over x.5 and loose. So it is actually best to pick a strong market and bet on that rather than betting small amounts on various markets during the match is going live.

I also believe that rather than making many bets pre-live like some guys take team + points + player markets .. I always prefer to go for a single market of these all and just go all-in on that.
3802  Economy / Speculation / Re: Predict the bitcoin price range as we enter the New Year on: October 04, 2020, 10:08:04 AM
I actually believe the price will rise around December to around 14k and then from there on we will see it float around 15 and hence I would pick 14-16 range because it is actually realistic and we all know around the New year time the price usually raises so at least 14k is what I am expecting and it should stay true for at least few months before dropping and setting 13k as the new normal Grin.

On a side note, thank you for such threads because it gives a reality-check about how the market is looking at the market and if we are being too positive or negative about the price in our own brain.
3803  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Casino & Sportsbook - Lamborghini Giveaway! 🚀 🎰 🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🎾 🥊 🎲 on: October 04, 2020, 09:18:45 AM
so are you saying there are no props available because the results are unpredictable?

I am quite sure I was there in the chat one night and Dusan clearly said that they are working on NBA player props and horse racing and other odd provider like e-sports betting so I am sure they are in progress and adding more markets as soon as possible. Sportsbet already offer those markets so I mean for stake it should not be a big problem to add those markets either as both sportsbook run on quite similar markets for almost all events.

Why I love stake more than other sites is only because of the chat otherwise I feel lonely like lost at sea betting alone in isolation. Also their weekly and monthly bonus make sure I come back and once I come there I can't leave, because of the great support team and the friends I have made in such a long time.
3804  Economy / Speculation / Re: Does US election affect the bitcoin price? on: October 03, 2020, 06:16:58 PM
I don't have a reason to believe it should, so I would say not it should not affect the price of bitcoins but that said there is always some movement around elections so I mean maybe there is a connection between elections and the price of bitcoins. maybe some policy changes are expected and hence the price can rise or drop based on those new policies.

Also the effect of such events in a particular country should not have a big impact on the price of bitcoins because there is a small groups of people who might buy/sell bitcoins during these events take place so don't worry too much about these events and the price being affected too much. I avoid trading during such times though like when halving happens I avoid being falling the victim to FOMO while also don't sell.
3805  Economy / Speculation / Re: The reason bitcoin price is not stable. on: October 03, 2020, 04:02:52 PM
your a full member on this forum and still didnt knew why btc is not stable ? when we are about to join or got curious on btc for the first time   . there is that common word that we see all the time and that word is " volatility " unless you wanted to know deeper . you mentioned price and speaking of it , price is in the list of many ways to know if the btc will fall or rise   . theres a chart which includes present and past price , you can scan that and make a prediction  . i suggest engage yourself in trading because in trading they mainly tackle those
Being a full member and being experienced on forum does not mean you would have full knowledge about how bitcoins works, I mean there are people who do not visit technical aspects of bitcoins and work with particular sector like services or use bitcoins as a method for gambling currency.

I don't know what you are trying to explain in the later stage of your statement because I can assure you that myself been into trading for years I am yet to understand the market based on charts and if you have a working formula please share with us and we all can make profits man, its easy to criticize someone for not knowing something but even more baffling is to not understand the same thing ourselves.
3806  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe NBA is rigged? on: October 03, 2020, 03:32:48 PM
I would say it's rigged but not totally. What I mean is some part of the game is questionable even though audiences saw what happened but referees didn't do anything or suddenly called a foul or something when the other team is just purely acting(flopping). I think it's kind of common in all kinds of sports and probably the main reason is all about the money.
Referees are certainly fixed and actually there are some refs that don't like certain players as you might recall a ref was suspended after he handed over needless fouls to a player who was just sitting and laughing at the poor calls. I also often see that refs make very bad calls to make a particular team win which might be because they have bets on them or maybe they are contacted to make the team loose.

In the series Clippers vs Nuggets I saw some horrendously bad calls and although I did not bet on any of them I felt bad for those who bet on the Nuggets but somehow they actually won the series so I mean the teams are not fixing games but refs surely are rigged at times and the only possible way to remove these bad practices is actually including more replays and allowing team to challenge 5 calls per game.
3807  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there any truly safe bets in sports betting? on: October 03, 2020, 10:18:43 AM
Are these bets as safe as they seem? Would you go for this strategy or not? Why?

It only looks like that this is "safer". In reality, odds like 2.5-2.9 are often win, so another side with 1.1-1.2 will lose such games. It's not enough just to look odds and bet to some outcome. You need to know a sport which you're betting on. Because sometimes books calculate odds in a weird way, so strong team will get winning odd like 2.1 and more weak - 1.2 . In that case you will lose your money pretty sure.

Knowledge is the strongest weapon and the safer way to get money in betting. Not odds
Actually I have seen that Table Tennis is one game where the underdog actually wins more than the favorite player. I don't know if that happens only with me or that happens with everyone but betting on TT I have lost more than 80% bets on favorite and by favorites I mean like odds of 1.35 are never safe on table tennis. So yeah it depends what sports you bet on because in a sport like NBA you would hardly see a huge upset and likely to win more on the favorites.

Pick wisely and sports with single player like tennis table tennis are more dangerous to bet on low odds, because a single player might have a say off but it is unlikely a favorite team will suddenly have all their players having a bad day. I mean it is hard for a team to loose against a weaker opponent while much easier for a single player to loose a game.
3808  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin ready for world wide 1 currency? on: October 03, 2020, 09:34:42 AM
I'm sure bitcoins were born for international payments, but the creators of bitcoins did not foresee Bitcoin having too many people using and exploiting them. The price of bitcoins has risen many times since they were first traded. It's not feasible to trade thousands of transactions at once, so bitcoin should be more of a stockpile of assets than a regularly traded currency. Bitcoin needs more improvements.
Actually bitcoins have a robust enough mechanism but what lacks is the proper knowledge and awareness about bitcoins because while bitcoins can and should be made a worldwide currency but there still remains facts that people are unaware about. I had a friend who designs and he was scammed by someone as the scammer sent him double spent transaction or something and he after doing all the world got to knew that all the world he did has gone in vain and is very reluctant to accept or deal in bitcoins.

The thing here is that, neither bitcoins nor he is at fault but his lack of awareness and knowledge costed him and this is one of the many problems that happen when the traders/investors don't have enough knowledge of how to use bitcoins and the possible ways of stealing.
3809  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin dont pay our billls we need passive income on: October 03, 2020, 08:49:20 AM
It is difficult to rely on the government for all our needs or even our bills, because the government can't support all our needs because they are focusing on a lot of things like hospitalization for those who are affected by covid 19. The government cannot spend all the budget for this year alone, as there is no certainty when the pandemic will end. And as far as I know bitcoin is one of the best way to pay our bills, on selected paying sites.

It would be difficult to rely on the government if it has no plan and has bad governance. Some people actually relies on the government a lot but they cannot equally distribute their services if there is bad communication within the chain of command. It would actually be better to just rely on the government for certain periods of time and not fully relying on them. We need to look for ways on how we can monetize our time like studying Cryptocurrencies and creating ways to get money from that.
The government should be able to provide with food and daily needs to their people for at least an year during these times, at least to the lower middle class. I have been always wondering why certain countries have tough times providing food to their people because I am quite sure there is a part of taxes that is saved for times like this and if you are not going to help people during such times then you have no right to take taxes from them and the government should be changes asap

As far as passive income goes, one cannot completely rely on govt. rather work remotely and earn some or if you are into crypto then trading is the best option as long as you have experience though.
3810  Economy / Economics / Re: USA Economic and power status will go lower new Country will take over on: October 02, 2020, 10:10:12 AM
How about these countries focus on making their countries a better place to live, a place where there isn’t hunger and where there are lots of jobs and no or less poverty, instead of dragging world power? All these ideas of who should be the world power and all that is really becoming so dumb to me.

If you have the world power what are you going to do with it? We should be focusing more on things that are very important than things that doesn’t make any single sense at this time. And why are you talking about France, is that where you’re from? If I’m to name top five countries that would be a superpower, France is not on that list.
3811  Economy / Economics / Re: FOLLOW THIS RULES TO BECOME RICH on: October 02, 2020, 08:09:37 AM
The rules you have stated here is really a good one. Though you kept talking about investments and not talking about people getting actual jobs that will make them steady income. Investment is good, but I have seen people who keep saying that they want to quit from their jobs and go for investment which is not a good thing.

Investment is a risky thing and the market can go any direction and you will start losing; if you have a means of steady income, which is a job, you wouldn’t worry so much and you will be able to have patience till things gets back on track. And I like where you stated that people should mind the expenses they make, that’s very important. Some of us spend money on things that are not needed, which is not good.

it is not a bug, the site automatically does that to notify u when u wager a particular amount. my point is this thing is affecting peoples game play. most people dont like to be stopped or slowed down till they win or bust. refreshing the page in the middle of an active session against the players will is unacceptable.
I play auto bet for about 8-10 hours every day but never face such problem. I think you should record a video and send it to the support team so they can verify the problem and fix it.
If you are experiencing such type of problem then yes, it is a bit annoying and it should not be.
there is no need for that. the admins know about what is been complain about. u use auto so its no issue for u.

We actually have no idea what issue you guys are talking about, no one complained about such issue and we just ran a check and everything seems to be working properly.
Richgang has been around talking about how much money his affiliates brings constantly and the weird thing is even though he claims to be a person with friends who wagers in millions dude still asks for help on bitcointalk. I doubt that any website and I mean ANY website that has one pin point place for reaching millions of dollars in revenue would know when and who to talk to and will do everything in their power to help them.

This suggests richgang is not the person he claims to be, he is probably someone who just wants attention, not saying he is, but there is that possibility with all the data we have in our hands. Even the thing he complains about only happened to him, there are so many of us here and none of us had the thing he complains about, it didn't happened to anyone at all.

So if a bet gets graded incorrectly I have to wait up to 12 hours? Sorry but thats just pretty embarassing..
The last time my bet graded incorrectly was yesterday when Manchester United given a penalty through VAR against Brighton at the very last minute .
My bet on Manchester United moneyline and The bet settled as lost while the result 2-3 for united.
Guess how much time it cost to fixed the error?

It takes only few minutes after the game ended , so yeah that's my case, not even an hour.

@EdenHazard I don’t blame the sportsbook for settling the bet at 2 - 2, because Manchester United scored the penalty after the final whistle had blown, and no one was expecting the match to end like this. Also I don’t think it can take 12 hours for a bet error to be fixed, but it’s quiet possible that the error could be something that’s completely out of their hands hence the long delay.

https://www.goal.com/en/news/why-were-man-utd-allowed-a-penalty-kick-after-the-final/15wsh1mfy04fc17m0uq5dou8rk
I didn't watched the game but checking the highlights I do not remember any single instance where the game full time whistle has blown but VAR was used to make a change, that header may not even be a goal if there was no hand (we will never know) and with that hand brighton lost the game literally after the game was over.

I swear you can't make this up, it is really the beauty of football, there are so many dramas and changes every season and you get the feeling of each match being one episode of a full season of a drama series. In the end sportbooks could have voided it, the full time whistle blown and they would have been grading it by that time, it could be overturned or anything but it might have been too late, because they may ended up paying people who said draw as well. Quite a difficult position they would be in.
3814  Economy / Economics / Re: Real estate vs. Bitcoin on: October 01, 2020, 02:21:22 PM
Deregulation is inconsequential at this point and real estate values have correlation with foreign exchange rates.  Supply in RE alludes to the property you want to purchase or sell. As a result, currency is in demand because of EMH in due to supply/demand. RE is simply one of the assets tied to availability of real loanable funds.  Availability of real loanable funds.  Fx rate.  Cost of goods.  The reason real estate prices are declining is because there is a decline in availability of real loanable funds. A decline in loanable funds is a result of foreign exchange rate decrease.  The market is responding to an inevitable future FX decline.
Real estate's value increases with time, I can bet that if you check properties that were being sold in years past you’re going to see a huge difference with the prices they are being sold at this time. Real estate is a market that doesn’t have much volatility and from what I have learnt, your losses are minimized with the length of time that you will be able to hold.

It is like a normal thing that happens with real estate, and I don’t know if that’s going to change this time around, it might continue like that or maybe not.
3815  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Good Morning from a Non-Bitcoiner on: October 01, 2020, 08:21:53 AM
What makes you think that someone that you sent a photo with this kind of information doesn’t know anything about Bitcoin? So, you’re forgetting that there are people who prefer to keep their businesses to themselves?

I have been into buying, selling of bitcoin for years now and a lot of my friends don’t know about it, except a very few that are really close to me and are able to tell what I am up to. I am not the type of person that goes out there shouting out to everyone and telling them that I am into Bitcoin, it’s none of their business what I do.
3816  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Florida man charged with scamming investors out of $6.8M in crypto trading schem on: October 01, 2020, 06:25:48 AM
People are always looking for means to make money and at the end their pursuit of profit leads them into putting their money in the wrongs , and of course that when they don’t know what they are getting themselves.

It’s always good to try understand the kind of thing you’re getting yourself into, do research and learn about scams and all that, you don’t just be trusting anyone you see knowing very well the world we are in that almost everything can be forged to deceive people. This is why it’s good to learn things and do it for yourself if you have time to do that, because other people can’t be fully trusted. There are still reliable people out there, but they are usually hard to find since there are so many of the bad guys.
3817  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Your strategy in taking profit on: September 30, 2020, 06:28:10 PM
Bitcoin has always been the main coin for me right from the time I came into this space. And for these stable coins, they are not something I have thought of for once, I know about them but I have not used them before.

The way I do my thing I don’t think making use of stable coins is of any use for me. And as for tax, where I live there are no laws yet, although there was an announcement made recently, but cryptocurrency is not something that’s fully recognized yet, though lots of people here are into it, but there are no laws on it and I have not paid tax for it before.
3818  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Official betting partner of ARSENAL FC 🚀 on: September 30, 2020, 05:17:47 PM
Having all these complains doesn't really bother them at all and neither should it. I mean this is a company that has partnership with Arsenal, jersey sponsors to Southampton and also Watford, why would they care about a bitcointalk account that fails to understand what the email states? Obviously have self-moderated topic and deleting idiots would be a lot better, after all you wouldn't want trolls to be rampant here and constantly spam this place, if you allow one, you allow all.

However when an idiot doesn't understand that word "investigation" and complaints about it, that doesn't damage their reputation, it just shows how many stupid people play here and that is how sportsbet became rich, if I had that many stupid people gambling on my casino I would be rich enough to sponsor premier league teams too.

Trying to win the wagering contest is a very bad idea. You always lose more that you can win.
Most of the time when a casino gets to be awesome and good (like wolf.bet) the wagering contest is more like a gift to big whales and not something people work for.

If you are a new website or a bad website obviously not that many people gamble on your casino and when you do competition they gamble there to get something in return, they play for the competition, but when you are a great place and there are people who gamble here anyway and the competition just happens to be during their gambling period and they win something not because they gambled for competition, but because they gambled with or without competition but end up getting something for it. People love it here, with or without competition they would gamble anyway, but wolf.bet just makes competitions to give something back.
So only people with big capital will get a big chance in the competition, let's say the pope is the one?
In competition gambling, everyone can take part in it, including people with small capital, but here Wolfbet is open to the public, anyone can get these rewards from gambling competition in competitions.
So I am not surprised to win the contest is an impossible thing but many people who want to try it with them have their own gambling skills
I don't associate with the pope but everyone can win the contest.
Competitions doesn't always require you to be rich, sometimes all you need to be is lucky as well. For example you are not rich at all and you decided to put up 100 dollars for the competition and you want to bet with it, you end up gambling over and over again but that day you are lucky, you reach to a point where you are top of the list and number one above everyone yet you now have 150 dollars instead of 100 dollars.

Not only you are leading the board but you also made money from it as well. Obviously rich is easier because they can even lose money and they could still be leading and not rich people need some luck, but it isn't impossible, mathematically speaking as long as you have a chance you should at least give it a try and if it doesn't work you won't win, but without trying you guarantee not winning it.
3820  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Casino & Sportsbook - Lamborghini Giveaway! 🚀 🎰 🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🎾 🥊 🎲 on: September 29, 2020, 08:12:58 PM
Increasing the withdrawal fees without announcing in the telegram channel was not expected because professional management should not only talk about positive changes such as giving 2 tickets instead of one in the Lamborghini raffle. Withdrawal fees are competitive as in other alternative crypto gambling websites,  0.0027 ETH and 0.0002 BTC per withdrawal request.

The fees are listed clearly on the withdrawal modal, we have actually updated the fees several times over the past few weeks and are not going to announce every fee change. However, we will try and communicate when fees change significantly. This all being said we are still subsidizing a significant portion of the fees  but users started using us as a wallet to take advantage of the low fees and we had no choice but to increase fees. Stake probably spends more on fees on behalf of users than any other crypto service but this is not a guaranteed incentive.
Nobody denies that you are quite cheaper than any other place, even binance who doesn't risk money (casinos do, gambler may win money) has twice the amount you have on bitcoin for example, they make money from your trading fee and on top of that charge you twice the amount stake does, which means you guys are awesome.

However this doesn't mean that you shouldn't share it when there is a chance, obviously when there is a change even if it is amazing to best you should still notify people, not because it would make people think this place is suddenly bad, that is not possible you guys still have awesome changes.

But the idea of "we are not going to notify every single change, it is on withdrawal page" is not really professional like you always are, you should totally do that even if it is still amazingly cheap for withdrawals.
