3941  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto after COVID-19 on: September 01, 2020, 03:15:26 PM
I would assume that if we are like this right now that means in the near soon future we are going to be even better. Things are not even bad right now which means we are already over covid in the crypto world, which is awesome because we really do not want covid to hit the crypto market like it hit the regular finance market, and since we were hit a bit, I would assume that we weren't just forgotten and it will come back, no we were hit so we just recovered and over time I am pretty sure that we will continue with this recovery.

Now if we are talking about actually not having any covid in the world at all(well at least not killing this much people)? We are talking about a long time and when that happens bitcoin price will be over 20k for sure because we are going towards that anyway.
3942  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will 2021 be the year of Litecoin? on: September 01, 2020, 02:45:04 PM
Who said people are neglecting Litecoin?
The price cannot be going up all the time, it’s just how things works here, there is always a time for everything.

You might wake up tomorrow and the price is steady going up. The price went up in 2017 and 2018 and it was heavily trending. Even till now people are still talking about it and if you check lots crypto currency websites like Coindesk , Cointelegraph, CCN, and many of them they are always pointing out Litecoin as one of the best coins to invest. The market can fluctuate to any direction at any time, so it’s best that you just invest in it that it’s at a low price.

3944  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Legal Matter on: August 30, 2020, 07:06:43 PM
Countries like Latvia, Dominic republic are known for welcoming all kind of businesses hence on these countries gambling is either legal or at least no strict law against gambling. Most countries are having laws to classify the gambling activities as an offensive thing whereas some developing and under developing countries which are not having any major strengths to generate their own revenues are still being neutral for gambling activities.

Some religions are prohibiting gambling which makes their laws are against gambling when those countries are religion based.

In my country, for protecting the young generations, we are having strict laws against gambling still, with permission, and as per set of rules gambling houses are allowed to operate. But, overall I assume gambling is prohibited in my country as well as licenced gambling is possible here only for few types of gambling like horse riding as it is falling into the category of skill based gambling.
3945  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Buy and Hold Really the Best Strategy in Crypto? on: August 30, 2020, 06:34:49 PM
For me, buying and holding is the best for me, and that’s simply because it’s what I can do best. Some of us are not a professional traders, so we see HODL as the best way for us to make money from the market, same way that expert day traders would say it’s the best.

So, people should be doing what works for them the most, if you try to do the other you will be regretting at last. I have seen people who are very good at trading to the extent they even make it their main job. What I like about Hodl is that there is not much work to do, you just study the market, invest your money and then wait while you also look for other things to do. So it’s quit simple.
3946  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Casino & Sportsbook - Lamborghini Giveaway! 🚀 🎰 🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🎾 🥊 🎲 on: August 30, 2020, 03:45:54 PM
House edge does take an affect because when you win you win less than the double while when you lose you lose it whole.

So when you wager 100 dollars, and win, you get 198 dollars, when you lose you lose 100 dollars, so that 2 dollar difference is the profit of the casino, let's say you play 100 times, you win 50 times and you lose 50 times, that win will get you back but that loss will eat it and then some. That is why I do not think it matters if you could make a profit for the short term or not, because in the end the long term will always be a loss because of the house edge.

However we all gamble knowing that, we are aware of the house edge, it has always been there, so not like it is something sneaky that casinos do, it is something very well documented before you gamble.
3947  Economy / Economics / Re: I have discovered Something about covid 19 on: August 30, 2020, 03:37:11 PM
I am not understanding what you’re saying, what makes you so sure about what you’re saying here? Have you been to every country to see how the lockdown restrictions were carried out to know which one is strict or not? You can’t even prove what you have said here and someone else already made it clear that you’re wrong and you can check the second comment on your post.

It is all around a well put solution. Burst the debt bubble, kill most of the elders and relieve the social security system, possibly change the banking system to a new one along the way...

It is the full systemic reset that everybody has been waiting for years.
Ugh... Killing lots of people? I don’t know for you, but an economy reset that’s going to be killing everyone is not what I’m looking for, so I wasn’t expecting that. Would be best if it happened in another way, you know anyone can be a victim of this, including you.
3948  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The cost of transferring money on the Ethereum network is too high on: August 30, 2020, 02:41:53 PM
Honestly I see 2.3 dollars right now, and that is a big step down from what it was a week ago or so and even with that it is still a thousand percent higher than last year.

We really need to go back to like 20 cents per transaction levels, without that we are really not going to see anything ethereum related picked up too much, people will try to look past that and find something else with another blockchain, otherwise why would they want to be involved with anything that even just the fee costs over 2 dollars, few sends and receives and they are already at 10 dollars loss from the situation without even having to make any profit or loss, that is just the start. That is why I believe we need to find a way to make it a lot lower, and I mean really a lot.
3949  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to Bitcoin in the long term? on: August 30, 2020, 10:02:36 AM
Question regarding the viability of bitcoin in the long term. From my understanding, the security of bitcoin comes from miners who verify the blockchain. What happens when there is so much halving that the reward for mining bitcoin is extremely low and the cost of verifying the blockchain for the miners exceeds the reward of their bitcoin?
It’s not just about the reward that they are getting from mining Bitcoin, when you make a transaction and you are charged a fee for the transaction you’re making, who do you think the money goes to? The fees you’re paying for your transactions goes to the miners, so they don’t just rely only the money they are getting as rewards for mining cryptocurrency.

I believe that if eventually they don’t have to mine Bitcoin any longer, they will start to rely on the fees that are being paid for transactions to make money. And moreover, if that’s going to happen, mining companies already knows what they are into and they must be aware of the things that are likely to happen in the future and prepare themselves for it.
3950  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would it be possible to develop crypto address validation technology? on: August 30, 2020, 09:23:31 AM
There has been a lot of issues like this; people do report that they mistakenly sent crypto to the wrong address. I understand how it feels, even when I’m sending cryptocurrency to people I do have that same fear of sending to the wrong address, and I’m always very careful and I double-check the address I have copied to make sure that it is right.

Even when I’m the one receiving cryptocurrency, when I am about to copy my address from my wallet, I check to be very sure that the cryptocurrency address I’m about to copy is accurate; if it’s Bitcoin I am about to receive, I check to see whether I am copying from the Bitcoin wallet. And this can be worst when you’re completely tired lol. But I have never had the experience of sending to the wrong address.

Any news on what will you guys do on the NBA games? I feel like things are about to change too much, not just by the games and the results and all, but more like as a whole. The games were planned to start yesterday for example after players gave a 2 days break, but looking at it yesterday refs and staff and so forth decided to go on a strike so they ended up not doing games yesterday neither.

It looks like it could be today, so I assume there could be games today, but I feel like there is too much social injustice going on both outside the bubble but also in the minds of all players, we are talking about the peak point of whites killing blacks type of situation since the civil rights days, unless that stops anytime soon it could affect how the players are on the court, their minds could be occupied and could have hard time.
3952  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: August 29, 2020, 03:41:52 PM
It is sad that KP will not play at all, I was hoping eventually KP would return and make the series a bit more competitive, the fact that he will not be playing with the team this year as a whole just unofficially gave the clippers the series already. Don't get me wrong even with him Clippers were the better team but when Doncic plays like a superstar he is and when PG13 just plays badly during playoffs, KP could make the difference between win or lose, even if not fully guaranteed, it is at least a possibility.

Now even with PG13 not playing well, Clippers is better than Mavs without KP, there was one game that was outlier but that happened only when PG played horribly and doncic played this awesome record breaking game from a sophomore. Lets see where this series will go but I think they will end it as soon as possible.
3953  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM |Deposit 777 play with 1777 mBTC |Live Casino, Slots, Betting on: August 29, 2020, 12:16:08 PM
There could be different understandings of provably fair, I get that "provably" makes you understand that you want to see if it was provably fair or not as in prove the fairness, but if they didn't change anything whilst you are playing, it was provably fair we all agree with that.

The only thing you are not sure about with the current situation if they can check the seed they could actually play with the results while you are playing, which you can change your seed and interrupt but let's say you do not, they really have to be on top of every seed and make sure they know if you play one way or another as well. I see this as a very tiny fraction chance, however let's say even that is bothersome, they are working on fixing it as well, not like we can ask for more.
3954  Economy / Economics / Re: Pandemic Coronvirus Impact On Global economy on: August 29, 2020, 08:46:23 AM
The world is surrounded by the COVID-19 and so the demand for the decentralized economy is increasing as a way of maintaining social distance. Does Pandemic Coronavirus open the door for the decentralized economy? Please justify your answer. Cool

Having a 'decentralized' economy means having no one to control it. We might see the flexibility and volatility of Bitcoin having these characteristics but the economy won't function in that way. It can sprout rivalry and a messed up organization. The COVID-19 even spanned out doubt and fear, so naturally and practically, people will clung out to the government. Asking for food, goods, and necessities. Online transactions might be a safe way yes, but people need reality and they have it with the government.
A decentralized economy really does not have any advantages over the ordinary, especially against the background of various situations that have a very strong impact on the lifestyle of an overwhelming number of people, so the search for salvation in a decentralized economy is in vain.
I have always wished that businesses will be decentralized and no matter where you are around the world you will be able to get a job and an equal pay like other people.

I don’t know whether what I have described is decentralization, but it’s probably a good idea. Some of the contracts I have worked on in the past months were from companies that are located in other countries and these countries were able to pay more than the ones that are in my locality/country, and the payment I got was done through Bitcoin for most of them, and PayPal, Payoneer.
3955  Economy / Economics / Re: Covid 19 shows how weak People are in the it mind on: August 28, 2020, 04:01:02 PM
Lol that’s not true, loans don’t expire, when you take a loan as years goes by the interest keeps accruing and you’re still going to pay them. Imagine that you take loan to start a business and it’s not successful at the end, your loan goes into default and you’re stuck with paying loans for a long time, don’t deceive people. And moreover, it’s not everyone that would be happy at this time, especially those that were affected by the coronavirus.

Lastly I’d say that it is best for people to have better plans as to how they can build their business to a better level without taking loans. Loans are only going to be putting you in more problem.
3956  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Rise Due to Lower US Dollar? on: August 28, 2020, 02:43:22 PM
It doesn't apply to stocks because stocks are based on companies and if people buy a ton of that stock that cause it to go up, there is a reason why it could be overvalued, if a stock worths 1 dollars but people buy like crazy and stock becomes 2 dollars, that means people are overvaluing it, or let's say it worths 2 dollars per stock and people undervalue it and sell it mostly and price of it becomes 1 dollar, that means it is undervalued.

Bitcoin is not based on anything at all, it is only people buying and selling and nothing else, literally absolutely nothing else, no companies, no corporations, no nations no fiat, it is purely based on people buying and selling and that is it. Which is why they are not even similar to each other at all, there are vast differences.
3957  Economy / Speculation / Re: Top 5 reasons I see $100k in next 2 years on: August 28, 2020, 01:59:48 PM
I remember the dude who bought pizzas for 10k bitcoins talked about the situation and he wasn't really all that worried about it, he mined a ton of them, he bought them even cheaper and he made a profit of them, that wasn't last of his coins neither, he sold a lot of them even later but before the 2017 peak times, so 10k for pizza wasn't his only mistake, he sold tens of thousands of bitcoin way before it meant anything, he spent few dollars and made few hundred dollars, when he could have been a millionaire, even more.

So, that is why I think we should not look at it like if we made a profit or not, even when you make a profit, you might be missing out on the future profit, you could buy at $10k and sell at $20k, but the price might have go to $30k and you might have missed money to be made.

Well.. let's not say that they are not "active at all" because they are active time to time and they do share stuff time to time but there is a difference between active and active.

If you always notify people what is going on with the website and share all the promotions and all that in a marketing purpose type of way, you are still active, you are not gone and you are still around and have an account that posts, however there is also a HUUUUGE difference on having one person like a community manager to be constantly here and talk with people about what they want and just basically chat regularly.

The first one is enough to have a casino, you do not "need" to do anything more than that, second one is just shows how involved you are and would take you to an upper level.
3959  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: (DEFI) YAM! YAM! YAM! a scam? on: August 28, 2020, 11:35:29 AM
If there is any bug in the system, then the team should be blamed for not properly doing their work and detecting the bug even before they launched the project. There are some people who just wants to quickly make money out of every opportunity and they can launch projects and be looking for ways to make money with it. They should have checked their project very well and paid expert programmers to do the job and not look for cheap work.

I have seen people who are talking about launching a project when it’s clear that they don’t have enough funds and what it takes to do proper work on the project before launch.
3960  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will "De-Fi" replace traditional banking in the future? on: August 28, 2020, 10:54:54 AM
DeFi is getting more popular and as time goes on the popularity will be more than this and it will attract more and more investors, and of course I was expecting people to start asking questions like this , whether they will replace the traditional banking. It’s just like when Bitcoin was getting popular everyday, a lot of people started asking questions whether it is going to replace traditional banking.

I think people don’t understand these things. These DeFi/crypto are something else, am alternative to the main system that can’t be changed. They kind of provide you with other means to do something in another way, and we should understand that.
