3741  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Invested in alt in 2017 ..and now need help to dont do same mistake on: March 28, 2021, 08:26:45 PM
Newbies are really interesting in altcoins because they want to explore more instead of focusing only on bitcoin, well there is no wrong with investing in altcoins, just choose the good and reputable altcoin such as BNB and Doge as these altcoins might have a good future, but if I were you having a huge amount of money, I will focus on investing in bitcoin instead of altcoins.
Investors are diversifying to altcoins because it is profitable as well not just bitcoin. However its a bit risky because there are too many of them and choosing what coins to invest is not really easy unless if you go to popular altcoins.

If I have huge capital just like op, I'd probably allocate 80% to bitcoin and 20% for altcoins that has potential, extensive research is needed to find out what could be the best alts to invest in when the market turn to red status.

the same thing one thought like you, will set aside the little money that I have in altcoins to invest and more dominantly invest in Bitcoin. Even though no one knows the market price correction will happen again, before plunging into investing in cryptocurrency, of course, you must be prepared to accept the consequences
Invest on the amount that you can afford to lose and also its your money then it is much better to find those altcoins if you are interested to invest with them.
Im not saying that listening to others suggestion is bad but most of the time it is, it would be more worth if you are the ones who would really be making out such step
or make out decisions towards your investment or portfolio. If we do make out some fortune on holding altcoins on just like what op did then he might really be still
ending up on repeating the same step on what he did in the past and he might be getting even more money but somehow those things arent an assurance.
3742  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Pay 2.000$ for helping with myetherwallet recovery on: March 27, 2021, 10:55:35 PM
What I know is there is still no way to recover your account if you lost your backup because the MEW doesn't store backups of users who generate their wallet from the site, That is why it's better to store your backup in different locations that are "ONLY" known by you.
If Myetherwallet does have the access or does have database for those keys then they wont really be reaching out the popularity that they do have now because its no different from custodial
wallet if thats the case.Of course MEW doesnt have access so its up to users responsibility on keeping those keys and once you do make a new accounts there always some caution
or warning or alerts that do talk about keeping those keys safe and make a back up because once you do lost it then theres no way for you to retrieve it back.
When it comes to wallet recovery services then i dont really trust them all since from the start.
3743  Economy / Economics / Re: Flexible Work Schedule on: March 27, 2021, 10:03:58 PM
Unfortunately, working from home isn't always the best solution, people tend to have lower productivity when they are unsupervised, and there can be a lot of distractions when working from home. And videocalls aren't a perfect replacement for live meetings and face-to-face talking, which is also important in work. I already saw a few software companies delaying their products last year because of the drop in productivity caused by switching to remote work.
There's always a difference because we arent really get used to it since from the start when everything is still normal or before this pandemic came.Nothing beats out when
someone do work up into a real working place and have some face to face interactions or simply you do your job on a operational kind of point not just on sitting in front
of your pc and you are right that when it comes to productivity then its totally different when its unsupervised or no one do watch you but somehow we do need
to deal with the new normal and this is why we do have this kind of set-up or arrangement, yes, its odd but better to deal with it.
3744  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Which wallets offer the lowest transaction fees to send BTC ? on: March 27, 2021, 09:36:57 PM
It seems to me that the minimum fee is pretty high so only interesting for sending bigger amounts ..
When it comes to online wallets then mostly you cant change them up but somehow those are already dynamic which simply means that it will vary on the network condition.
If the network fee is high then expect that it would really be high even those wallets doesnt have the control on that but when you do talk other wallets which could really
give you the chance on having some adjustments like in electrum then you can always opt in on how much you would be paying up on the fees and on how
long you do want to wait neither on the next block or in several numbers basing on sats/byte.
3745  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All of a sudden they want to join crypto. on: March 27, 2021, 08:24:17 PM
Hahahaha I have been getting quite alot of engagement lately... and pretty sure I'm not the only one  it's crazy seeing dm's  from doctors, lawyers, engineers, astronauts & Olympians.  Parents wanted me to be any of the above and now they're in my dm's trying to learn about crypto and how I make 6 figures from holding/staking altcoins like $BET $LINK $ ADA. Hmmmmmmmmm life.
Why do they want to learn about crypto.? Because they just realized the popularity of the cryptocurrency are on the rise and are the talk of many people, In the digital era like now, using digital currency in various virtual transactions are becoming commonplace, that are the reason they are interested in getting to know cryptocurrency. And with the background of those with above average monthly incomes, it will be very easy for them to make big profits in trading.
I can say that people like that are victims of the media, why is that?  they are interested in investing in cryptocurrency because many people talk about it and even see various news on the internet if Bitcoin has a very fantastic value at this time.
they are easily tempted because many people who hold bitcoin in the long term have been able to profit many times over
Common actions when people get caught with the hype or whats trending which it isnt something new or usual to have these kind of scenarios where people rushing up
to get inside the market just because they have seen someone who do make some serious profits without even thinking that those are mostly holders or people who had
entered the market way several years back and now when the time they had invested which the price is already high and then suddenly drops then this is where blaming time starts.
Regrets towards their decision would be there, casual scenario before people do make out some learnings or realizations into theirselves.
3746  Economy / Speculation / Re: The reasons why Bitcoin price drops recently on: March 25, 2021, 09:22:36 PM
In this article you can see 3 reasons why it could have occurred:

In this article you can see 3 reasons why it could have occurred:

Of course, now when this kind of eventualities occur, there is always a potential news or reason that is identified, but it is a matter of waiting and seeing how it continues to develop at this time, perhaps this is a pull back and the price reaches a few $ 60k, it's all in the possibilities.

These are common scenarios and still surprised that people still having those kind of questions in mind about these price drops. Its neither it is caused by news or events or just basically a selling point
or time which is currently happening at the moment.Come to think that we havent dipped yet on -$1000 which i do see this as a typical price decline not really those kind of severe -30%-40% in a
day where you can really have those questions in mind but arent these situations common? People shouldnt really get used to be surprised like this because its always been part of the market
to have this kind of volatility.

On the recent drop i had accumulated with this current price point which i can say that this is a solid support which would be hardly be break out but still unsure because the next support
would be on $47k.
3747  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Data suggesting more than 95% traders are losing on: March 25, 2021, 08:13:52 PM
It is surprising what I saw about trading, that 95% of traders are losing, this was not what I even thought before, I was considering 75% of traders, but no research paper exists that proves this number right while some suggesting that the actual figure is much, much higher.
Trading is difficult, I already know a lot of people are going to be losing. It’s just like the time I wanted to be an options trader, I noticed that most of the platform I wanted to make use of had lots of negative comments of people who keep accusing them that they are scammers that keeps stealing their money, but later on I got to understand that most of the people dropping those comments are just some inexperienced traders that lost their money from trading.

So, they are pissed and attacking the companies. Trading has never been easy, no matter what kind of trading it is, lots of people are losing.

When it comes to options then i do really consider this to be more risky than on making doing spot or long term trades which the risk is somewhat equalled if you you do compared off with leverage kind of trades.
Losing is common and success will really vary on how someone do deal up with the market. We do have our own ways and methods and  success isnt something that can be acheived with just few try outs or
trades which basically simply means that this will take a long time.95% is indeed high if we do talk about losing traders but we wont really be achieving this kind of liquidity rate if there are no
people who had been actively trading with these very volatile prices.
3748  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Claim Polkadot ;) ;) on: March 24, 2021, 10:24:14 PM
"To verify your DOT address, just send from 10 to 10,000 DOT to the generated address below and get from 30 to 30,000 DOT"

A very classic way of scamming out people which had already been known in the past.I dont know if there are still people who do fall into these kind of cheap tricks.
Sites design or front page isnt bad looking though but once you hovered that get started and clicked it then it comes out with a very generic
set of instructions with eye-hurting color.

They are really becoming lazy to make it more realistic.
3749  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can play tricks on your mind on: March 24, 2021, 09:27:24 PM
Regular investors and traders are already used to it. Taking out your stake is what you should do and leave the rest to be used for holding and trading purposes. You will have a free open mind to do other things without any thought of Capital loss.
It will be right. Considering that the price of bitcoin has risen almost three times higher than its previous price record, it would be logical to sell some of the bitcoins to cover your previous expenses and have the capital to buy bitcoin in case of a sharp price drop. After that, we will no longer suffer direct material losses in any negative turn of events, and we can only talk about lost profits.
Secure everything while you still can and i do really agree on this one where you should really be selling out if you do seem fit to do so.Price movements could really
trick you up and can really affect your decision making skills but if you do have set a specific fixed goal then you would really be having those kind of sell outs
no matter what would be the market condition would be.It all matters with experience since this one will really be important, once you are aware on how things
do works or moves on this market then you can really make out some proper plans and possible actions to make.
3750  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tesla now accepts Bitcoin on: March 24, 2021, 08:24:59 PM
Elon is a real pioneer, no way was he ever going to get left behind. It really doesn’t surprise me that he’s one of the first elites to really embrace bitcoin. I tip my hat to you Mr Musk.
I agree with you. Elon Musk is being a real visionary. I admire what he is doing for bitcoin adoption and now even more as I saw he isn't going to convert btc to fiat from Tesla's sales. It's a good signal he truly worries about bitcoin's success, not seeing this only as a marketing strategy or a speculative scheme to make fast profit and exit.
By doing this he is helping the crypto community to grow larger and of course, helping bitcoin investors to increase their investments in value, as btc should go up with good news like this.
What a really nice news when it comes to adoption. Its good that Tesla is now accepting Bitcoin which is a good move and hopefully other companies would do it as well.
Somehow the price havent been reacting with this kind of news or fundamentals which im not really that much off surprise and what i do like the most into those
words that they wont really be making out conversions from bitcoin to fiat which does signifies that he isnt really just going for short term investment.

He do go for long term.Imagine a big company like this would really risk out their sales profit in forms of bitcoin?
3751  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Staking is not for Muslims on: March 24, 2021, 07:30:02 PM
Staking in crypto is like interest in Fiat.
You lend (stake) your crypto and get reward (interest) for it.
I suggest all my Muslim brother to stay away from this new kind usury.
If they do have that kind of rule or prohibition in Muslim religion then so be it but we know that not all religions would really be having this kind of thing.
When it comes to staking then it is still a sort form of income and you do really believe that those muslims online are really that much off faithful
on stopping even if they do know its against in muslim religion? Not on applying to all of them but several would really be going to the opposite side.
Crypto is anonymous and no one can spot them out in case they do make out those kind of prohibitions.
3752  Economy / Speculation / Re: I have a relatives who ask advise to invest, what should I do? on: March 23, 2021, 11:59:35 PM
Guide them and show them that the concept of "investing" in the world of crypto means going hand in hand with risk, grief and loss.  As a relative, you need to focus on training, exchanging, cultivating knowledge and confidence.  Give them some reasonable suggestions, the most important thing is to stimulate them to self-study information and documents without being tempted by the trap.  A bird that wants to fly must be full of feathers, that's safe!

It is true, you need to open his mind to all possibilities. Don't hold back to say the positive and negative repercussions. He thought you know which coins will be the easy money to venture with, but you don't. Even if you are a veteran, you can't say which coin will be pumped and get high returns. You have to show him the real market scenario in crypto. Don't let him assume you know everything because you don't. But you need to be patient in guiding him where to look at. He thought he can learn this overnight because he has someone like you as a guide.
Open-mindedness  should really be had.Explain to them about the basics but dont explain that there is something guarantee when money making..
Dont give out any assurance because that will really be giving some conflicts if results wont really be ending on what they do anticipate.
Its up to you if you do have the time on explaining because in my part im already done on explaining things because they are mostly trying
to force out on how to make or earn big money.
3753  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Strategies to trade new listing on top exchange on: March 23, 2021, 10:59:30 PM
What your intention to trade? I bet getting money right? So why you find another new coin which is not sure to give you a profit while there are already many coins that really give you a profit.

Just choose bitcoin and 10 top altcoin if you have no many time to make a prediction, it will give you a profit depend on your knowledge. Rather than, you find a new project that just being listed on the exchange and you wait where the dumped price that can be reached, it will you waste your time.

Trading with new alts is very risky as you can lose your money fast if you are not really familiar with the coin. Most of them as you said, are pump and dump, and you have no idea, if the dev team is already dumping to exit the game. If you want at least an assurance, you really need to consider bitcoin and other top alts like eth. At least, you know, there is no pump and dump on these coins, and they grow according to what is happening in the market and not manipulated by a single group whose main intentions is to pocket money.
Some traders or investors wanted to make huge profits on a newly listed coin thus taking an unnecessary risk that can result to a massive loss, there are a lots of stable coins that can be traded to earn at least some reasonable profits consistently, although I am sure investors or traders who trades a newly listed coin used a small amount of fund they can afford to lose or probably must have bought those coins during ICOs presales.
One of the most common perception of people on where a certain coin would be potentially listed out on a top exchange then they do automatically put up into their minds
about pumping.Well i cant really deny that one because i do have the same behavior when it comes to this but it wont really be that happening most of the time.
There are instances that coins do pump out on the current exchange on where its been traded before it gets listed and then people who had bought cheaper
on that exchange would typically sell out once they saw that the price on newly listed exchange is high.
3754  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: Student Coin new pre-ico project for universities on: March 23, 2021, 08:58:50 PM
Student coin? It isnt really much needed. What are the things that make this coin relevant? We have all sorts of possible coin names in the market and just
because you have seen some university integration of bitcoin and other crypto and now trying to create which is totally being inspired with it.
Im sure that this one isnt really much more needed. Bitcoin could already do all sorts of stuffs needed without the creation of other similar named coins
on specific niche.
3755  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Meeting about Bitcoin and inviting people to it on: March 23, 2021, 07:58:56 PM
At the end of the session, I introduced most of them to Bitcoin, and some of them even took the address of an exchange from me to buy some Bitcoin! This is the power of Bitcoin.

You too can invite more people into this digital world by talking. Wink
I'm also happy to share your experiences here.
I might not able to reach out that certain extent of introducting bitcoin to other people but somehow i did able to explain some basics into my family and my friends about it.
Tell them about the basics and if they do interact and show up some interest then explain even further on what it is and the most important is to explain up its
Pro's and con's because this is where people should really know about not just on expecting the positive side because we know on how risky it is when
it comes to investment matters. As long they are much aware of it then i dont see any problems for them to proceed on.
3756  Economy / Speculation / Re: Don't buy this dip yet! on: March 22, 2021, 11:59:39 PM
As you all can see, markets have dumped very quick with BTC in a loss of around 6% because of the sudden dip. When we don't know why this happened, let's talk about the technicals and see which area could be the best for BTC to be bought.

It's creating a triangle in 4H but that's not looking in the favor of BTC and could bring it to its major support at around $52k. But hodl your breath, it's not over yet. If it's broken down, there will be more opportunities for shorts to pull it down between $47k and $43k and if it doesn't hold there too, the dump will further take the price to eat the liquidity near $36k after which it'll begin its run again.
Im waiting for that time but it seems it is holding in 54k support which is also a good point imho but basing off with technical then those levels are really considerable once that 52k strong support would be broken out then

expect that price would really be heading down even more.I have already accumulated a little bit on 54k and i would be waiting for further dips but at least i have made up some accumulation to this level.
If ever the price would go down even more then i have already the funds allocated for that which it had been always a plan B's when A's didnt turns out to happen.
3757  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How you can determine the expected price for a new altcoin? on: March 22, 2021, 10:29:00 PM
the value of a newly launched coin is highly dependent on market demand, if the market demand is so large then the value of the coin will increase, and the team that manages the project must also be able to optimize everything needed so that many investors are interested in owning the coin, and the features used are also very influential as the blockchain system is very instrumental in a project.
Surely the price of launched coin will be at the maximum. Even 10$ is not a surprise. But the thing is it oblivious to increase on decrease. When the project is decentralized, the growth is seem a original one.If centralized project, project can do fake pump to get investment.

Success cant really be determined wether the project is centralized or decentralized but we know on what are the things been preferred for those people who are engaged on crypto
which should be on that decentralized way of things and that you can really make out some presumptions for you to choose one.Expecting something on a project
isnt really that much of a suggested thing for you to think off because not all seems good would totally get some value and basing on the number of
coins in the market then determining which one is good is already a hard job, how much more on predicting prices? Its impossible.
3758  Economy / Speculation / Re: What are the fundamentals behind the conception: 1 BTC will worth USD 1 million? on: March 22, 2021, 08:59:00 PM
I read this many many times,
Is there any solid fundamentals in the conception that 1BTC could be worth USD 1 MILLION or even more?
Or it is just wishful thinking?

Thank you!

Wishful thinking or simply presumptions just because people do go look overhead or board too much when it comes to its price specially if the price is currently running on price increase in a short time?
People or the community would just be saying that $1M is possible without even trying to look back on how long many years we need before reaching this certain state.
60k almost as of this moment and now talking about $1m/coin?

No matter how positive i am towards bitcoin but still i dont see the probabilities or chances for this thing to happen. So always take it a grin of salt when you do always
keeping up on reading these kind of calls.
3759  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In my school, Bitcoin is now becoming a subject on: March 22, 2021, 07:59:24 PM
It's possible those countries where cryptocurrencies are fully legimate and accepted by all spheres of life , Central Bank and governments. But on my country, government already declared Bitcoin as illegal so it can't be possible.

It doesn't really matter right now since the world is going global. You don't necessarily need to be in bitcoin-legalized countries in order to take part in the space.  For instance,  Central Bank in my country recently placed a ban on the use of cryptocurrencies via our traditional banks. Now, this doesn't stop us from participating in the digital economy. It won't even affect people who take courses in blockchains and cryptography regardless of where they are in the world.

More universities will follow suit in the near future. It's high time those outdated curriculum gets a breath of fresh air.

Everything is on internet and in case if it was banned on your place but doesnt mean that you cant learn everything from it.Its just a matter on how you do put up some effort if you are really serious
on learning about bitcoin and its basic information.
Its really hard to see that this one is available worldwide but we can see that there are already institutions which do have included this into their subjects.
Lets just hope that it will really be seen in more schools soon.
3760  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When sell holding alt coin in profit? on: March 21, 2021, 11:51:55 PM
I usually selling my altcoin when therewill be a news about the project going do major update, and it is normal if you can jot sell it at the peak, many people who hold the altcoin want to sell it at peak , so the best chance is before its peak or after peak price and then its going down then bounce again.
Yes, but some people also regret selling Altcoins before they reach the peak price even though they also benefit from it, even though it's much better than having to wait again when there is an upward bounce.
Its better to have that kind of regret when you are in profit while in regret when you do are in loss.So no matter what amount you had earned then you should be grateful but since
human beings are naturally greedy then you would always be ending up on this kind of feeling. You do regret on not to hold that long and miss out those profits even more.
These situations are common and not surprising, its just a matter of risk on when you do get out with the market which you do seem to be that worth.
