4681  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Sell The News on: May 12, 2018, 10:05:52 PM
Sell during the pump, from my experience it's usually 1 day or 2 day before the news announcement. Don't be a fanboy and hold a coin for a really long period of time, taking profit is always a good thing
We do have the same observations which it is usually 1-2 days before.Ive been catching up this thing too when i was just starting on where pumps do usually happen before days but there are times that price doesnt really react on upcoming news in the market. Selling is indeed a good thing yet we can always buyback when the price tends to go down because of the news and at the same time on the profit taking of investors or traders.
4682  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I don't care about the price now. Nobody knows how much my portfolio is worth on: May 12, 2018, 09:15:47 PM
I don't even look at the price anymore. Just looked today after a few days... Eth is now being negotiated at 480. LOL

Nobody knows how much my portfolio is worth. I will hold for a few years. I am not going to sell now, even if it were 10x more than it is now, so why would I care for the price now?

I really believe in the technology, I really like it, I am even studying it. I am not worried.

So you are just basically holding up ETH into your folio or do have even more coins which do have potential? Holding up for years or long term would really requires strong discipline and control which i do see that most people wont able to do such thing specially into those times where we do see profits where temptation to see would be there and thinking up on securing out profits or you would panic sell to cut loss when you see a dumping market. These are the common factors.
4683  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance will REKT you if you are not careful! on: May 12, 2018, 08:32:18 PM
This is really unfortunate but i do completely agree on what binance support do say on this ss : https://imgur.com/a/sPxbV10 which is the reality where those kind of circumstances is beyond their control which means they are not liable on any loss or gains being made on that time.

Not to be rude but asking bitcoin to the community is really against on forum rules, we know that you have been rekt but come to think of that this would always be the risk involve on trading.

I get you Fatunad .'Birds of a feather fly together' sometimes people who are in your shoes understand you better. The only people who will understand a trader's predicament are the traders themselves.Anyway your reply is welcome.Thank you very much!
I do understand your part though which if i were on your shoes probably i would do or say such thing and do the same step but wont consider to beg into the community. Asking help that turns out to be a demand will not be always good, just let the community would sympathize on what happened to you and will donate on their own. These kind of circumstances is really inevitable where if we do make trades these technical delays will really screw us up and would end up on questioning the credibility of the exchange but as i said earlier they dont really have the control into those scenarios.
4684  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is crypto bubble bursting finally? on: May 12, 2018, 07:38:41 PM
I'm really confused about the crypto market. As i see at other bubble in past crypto bubble seems nothing in from of them the dotcom bubble was over 6 trillion dollar 18 ago from now and the Cryptos is just collapsing just after touching 800 billion which seems nothing in front of other massive bubbles. What u guys think?
Not actually bursting but this is just a possible thing that can happen on crypto market anytime which there would be always a profit taking and sudden dump on price. This is very a speculative market, once theres a news it do reacts and thats how volatile the price is. If you arent get used to the volatileness then better to keep up with it because these arent the same on what we have known with traditional stocks, forex markets.
4685  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What you should do when you lose most of money? on: May 11, 2018, 09:44:40 PM
Acceptance and learning from it

These two things would really be effective most of the time specially when we do engage into this kind of investment which is trading. It do really involves loss of money and you are really at risk and vulnerable on it but somehow those mistakes will mold you gradually, might really be hard on first experience which is normal.

4687  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-05-10] Bitcoin could soar as high as $64,000 next year on: May 11, 2018, 07:59:51 PM
The correlations between haspower and the price are very complex, but it's simply wrong to think that you can keep increasing the price by adding more hashpower - the demand for Bitcoin is the main factor, and increasing the hashpower will have very little effect on demand. This analysis would have been better if they have explored what price can be supported by existing hashpower and future hahspower, because when the price increases too fast, it's important that hashpower increase too, to maintain the game-theoretic balance that makes potential attacks unprofitable.
Same view and opinion which i dont really see that hashing power do really be considered as a big or major factor on bitcoins price well as being said demand will always be the thing here which would really dictates the market price. If it do have higher demands then it can reach out numbers that we havent seen before but talking about 64k usd on a matter of 2 years seems really an impossible thing for a short period of time.Imagine nowadays on how we do struggle on just breaking up again 10k price.
4688  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Hold your keys vs money on exchanges on: May 11, 2018, 07:09:15 PM
What you're not saying is complete. The full recommendation is, not to hold or store your funds on anything but your own fully controlled wallet. Of course if you're using those funds for trading or investment, then you've no choice. But now with decentralized exchanges you can soon still easily trade from your wallet. Waves DEX is one such example.

Besides, transferring a coin to an exchange takes minutes. No fuss.
This is the advantage on using up DEX where you do really have the full control of your account since you jut need to input keys without the involvement of the site itself.Unlike on common exchangers where you wont really hold up the private keys of your own wallet. If we do make trading then its normal we do store up coins on an exchange but please always bear in mind that dont hold big amounts and as possible you should gradual take out those funds or coins if arent needed to be traded.
4689  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Digital Currency Take Over on: May 11, 2018, 05:11:14 PM
As we can see now everyone/every developed nation is moving towards digital currency. In your opinion how much time is required for digital currency to take over the current/existing market or it is impossible that digitisation will never be successful. If yes what are those factors ? In my opinion those countries which are not accepting digital currency, are doing wrong. They are only thinking about the tax. They are saying that we will not get any tax and digital currencies are fake. Fraud is very easy in digital world (that is true but it also happen in every market). Although when someone is doing business in digital currency then that person is bringing money to country that is beneficial for the country...
Even on my dreams this is really an impossible thing to happen on where we do come to a point where cryptocurrencies would took over traditional fiat system.I would rather believe that government would create their own coin and would completely make full transition to that one which i do see a normal thing for them to do.They make take some consideration on cryptocurrencies existence and benefits but most of the time they would really prefer on the thing that they can control and lastly we do might really hate tax but as a citizen we are really obliged to pay up.
4690  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why all crypto market goes RED today? on: May 11, 2018, 04:31:48 PM
Why all crypto market goes RED today?
Bitcoin dump to $8500
ETH to $650
NEO dump to $59

What is going on?
On of the reason because of this rumor.
Rumours that South-Korean traders withdrew large amounts of coins causing the market dip
https://twitter.com/CryptoOfKorea/status/994849916253032448

But don't worry, there are many good news incoming which will pump the price in upcoming weeks
This is one of the fundamentals i do able to read about such news which is really also a factor that will really make effect on the current price. There are several news once again and these kind of scenarios isnt really surprising if we do see green recently then we should really expect for a price corrections either natural or intentional. No one knows but the fact there are upcoming news which do possibly indicates to kick on the bull  run and thats the thing ive been waiting for.
4691  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-05-10] BTC Wallet Electrum: ‘Bitcoin-stealing Malware’! on: May 10, 2018, 08:42:42 PM
Yip, it is confirmed -:> Here is the proof that it is your first result, when you search for "Electrum". http://prntscr.com/jg52k7 ...Everyone should just report it as Malware here, https://safebrowsing.google.com/safebrowsing/report_badware/?hl=en

If a lot of people do this, then we can protect other people from losing money on these scams. We should all stand together when these things are being done to newbies.  Angry

Good call Kakmakr. I hope everyone takes a few minutes to report that as malware. It really doesn't take long, and if you like and use the software as much as I'm sure we all do, I think it's only a small favour to pay back to Thomas and the guys who develop Electrum. Even if you don't use it, it's a very small sacrifice of time to help make the space safer for newcomers. We were all new once, let's not forget that!

Adding on: looks like the reporting is working. My google search in two country settings doesn't show the malware link at all!
Seems like it does work because when i tried to seek on that copycat malware link i didnt found such thing.I was supposed to report that stuff for it to be removed so that new people wont really be prone to danger or even the experienced ones. There are really sometime on where no matter how aware we are there are instances which we do make careless moves. How much more for those who havent any idea.?
4692  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Manager Level = Campaign Successfully? on: May 10, 2018, 06:28:23 PM
Its hard to entrust a task to someone who is new in the business. Its same with hiring an employee, most of the the time those with experience gets hired while the new ones try to establish a good resume by taking on small tasks. Those that are experienced may come with a price but they will not ruin their reputation for just a few dollars. Downside is, those who are new in the business but have great potential of succeeding are not getting the attention that they need, how can they get the experience that they need if no one will give them a chance.
This is the sad reality where newbie managers would really have the hard time to get their experience since they arent being considered to be chosen. This is always been part of the hardship when we do just starting up. Even if we are good on handling campaign and do have the idea and some experience we wont really be easily considered thats why it do still takes time for someone to be reputable. Forum ranking is one of factors to be based if the project is legit or not but not all the times since there are managers in the past gone scam even they are high ranked due to those accounts are being hacked.
4693  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Cryptomoneyhouse - Scam? on: May 10, 2018, 04:56:12 PM
Hi guys,

Just got this LinkedIn request from some joker called Lewis from Cryptomoneyhouse.
Got some big claims about being "One of the largest OTC traders in London. Cash, B2B, Wire. Big and small quantities."
Says they are Private Equity owned (Worth Billions.)

Did a few basic checks, they were incorporated last month and their website is a Go Daddy piece of crap.

He refuses to answer any of my questions seriously and only wants to know if I trade BTC and how much.

Anyone have dealings with this company?

Do I need to ask if Scam?

No need to ask this thing to them since in the first place when you saw they are dodgy on the questions you had asked to them then it do already raises a red flag. Come to think of they claim they do involve in billion holdings but they can afford a decent site? Those things already signifies that this dude wont really be trustable. As long you didnt give any amounts of btc or account handling then you are not prone to the risk. Even your instinct will tell you into this matter.

I know this could and will get outdated rather sooner than later,

Not if a few members would help. If all work will go to a single person, yea maintaining it would be difficult considering that we all have irl issues, but if it's divided then it'll surely ease the burden. A good example would be Mitchell's Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns [Last update: 24-Apr-2018]. The others will suggest what changes should be done then one user will compile them into the table and lastly OP will check it and update the first post.

Great post though, I too have wanted something like this for quite some time now. But the column's are too close on each other, maybe you can put some space between them?
+1

I completely agree on this one which if users would really cooperate or would voluntarily update if theres such changes into those numbers in the table where this thread would really be helpful even myself do always seek out on this kind of thing which i do actively trade between exchanges where fees would really be one of the factors on where i gonna choose up. I seconded on the table spacing so that it would be more appealing in the eyes since you can able to point out the differences. Cheesy
4695  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Happiness Bitcoin Purchases on: May 10, 2018, 12:07:45 PM
They say money can not buy you happiness, but maybe bitcoin can. From luxury trips to soaking in a bathtub, you can still buy some items with bitcoin. However, like any other article you read on the subject, you should assess the risk correctly first. Buying high ticket items in a volatile digital currency is not without risk. So while you hope it will not stop outside the property without a key or cash, it is unlikely the bank will give you a mortgage in bitcoin in the near future.
These things will only be possible when bitcoin is already considered to be a currency but thinking of that this thing wont really be easily recognized or implemented for a short period of time. Money cant really buy happiness but come to think of that using up bitcoin into traditional things we do know where we do in fiat would really be a big change and a big convenience for us. We might really be glad on such thing but not totally different.
4696  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is FUD? YOU FELL FOR FUD!!! on: May 07, 2018, 10:41:02 PM
FUD is false news people spread to create panic for people to sell at lower prices. FUD mostly affect people who are new to crypto and those who don't trust crypto. The most important thing in crypto is to have patience and not fall for FUD.
You should not fall into these FUDs because it will really cause problems later on and usually fuds are created for whales to be able to purchase cheap coins when the entire community is on panic. We do know the result if we do panic sell which would result into very low prices which is really a good time to accumulate even more because those investors are smart enough on which coin should they get in.
4697  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Does signature campaign really help to promote an ICO ? on: May 07, 2018, 09:48:22 PM
I think it does... There are so many people on bitcointalk, and mostly bitcoin people..

Hidden pack answer in your answer mate. Here you do not need to invest the fund or anything, If you have clear skills I am sure you will rock the bitcointalk floor. This forum helps for promotion, trading, project discussion, project ann and etc.
This site do all work in place so here full of bitcoiners you can find. Please do think I am hyping about bitcointalk.
After I came into this website. I see the gradual value in my earning potential as well.
We just dont talk on the money opportunity here on this forum but we do know whats the actual reason why it was being built on where this is a community of all crypto enthusiast which we do share up our knowledge and share up ideas which would really be beneficial to the entire community and this is the best place on where we do get possible investors, seeing or basing out on the traffic alone it would really be worth to launch signature campaign for a company which do have a crypto niche.
4698  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what's your reason joining here in crypto? on: May 07, 2018, 09:26:09 PM
what's your reason joining here in crypto?
Frankly speaking why im here the main reason is that i do really aim to make big money on this crypto world and second would already be on its true benefits or tech this is why most of us would really engage with crypto due to this various reasons but i do believe that money would really be the main reason for most people who do engage into this one.Im really sure of that because money making opportunity is really having a big chance when we talk about on here.
4699  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to Come Back? on: May 06, 2018, 07:54:31 PM
Are you kidding me? Getting loans to invest in a cryptocurrency? That is not a good idea at all and now you are going to mortgage your house? The only mistake you made was doing an action without thinking about the consequences. Let alone time judge you what you have done. Talk to your family or friends and borrow your money so you can pay your loans back. At least they can be patient with you.
A very dumb decision to make but it does actually happen and i dont know why some people do made such decisions in life on where they do took loan and investing it on a very speculative market or kind of investment. We do know that cryptocurrency wont really give an assurance for us to make money thats why it isnt really idea to made such decision on getting loan or selling off things like house or any assets just to invest on it. Its too risky. Coming back or recovery would be hard because debt will always chase you but since you do still have holdings then better to utilize it carefully.
4700  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Am I the only one? [Cryptopia exchange] on: May 06, 2018, 05:18:48 PM
I'm not quite sure if this is the right board to post this to but if it is not, just move it to the right one (mod), Thanks.

I deposited byteball to cryptopia last night from my byteball wallet and it has been 17 hours but it still doesn't show in my balance in cryptopia. I check the status of the transaction in my byteball wallet and it is stated that it is confirmed. I also cheked in the block explorer and I can see that I used the correct address to send it in.

Am I the only one having a hard time depositing at the said exchange?
Lucky for me that i do able to read up recent issues towards cryptopia when it comes on depositing Gbytes into their exchange and now the tokens isnt recieved even the transaction is already completed or confirmed.Lots of bounty participants do really have problem towards this matter. For now, i have seen other way on selling those tokens without the need on transferring it into exchanges which you can directly sell it into your own wallet. Just find the btc-gbyte exchange in chat then type "sell" further informations would be given.
Have you got any idea if those user's issue has been resolved by the cryptopia team? I've also asked around on the byteball telegram channel and it seems that they are also experiencing it. Anyways, I've contacted to cryptopia team and they said they will get to it as soon as possible.

Can we use that btc-gbyte exchange even if we are only selling a small amount maybe? I thought that's only for huge transactions? How about the transaction fee?
Upto these days it isnt really resolve and cryptopia team do said they do have maintenance on gbytes wallet i dont know if its already done or not.

Yeah you can still sell on partitions but you would really have just a max of 1GB per sell transaction. Fees arent too high but expect when it comes to price it would be lesser compared to exchanges.
