4741  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is crypto industry dangerous ? on: April 27, 2018, 08:32:18 PM
i want to know what makes the cryprto dangerous? to the point that many countries band the use of crypto in their countries. I want to hear your opinion

When you do talk about dangerous then you are mentioning on a broad range.Would you mind on saying an specific thing like on which it what sort it would be dangerous. Countries laws? Investment risk?
If you do only talk about ban then theres no danger and its prohibited and as a citizen you will really avoid on violating countries laws once you get caught then you do know the consequence.
4742  Economy / Speculation / Re: Back to $6000 in 3... 2... 1... on: April 26, 2018, 10:18:29 PM
Lol this is too funny, I was led to believe we were going to see $11000 in the coming days.

I am so happy to have sold some yesterday, my spidey sense was tingling. Now, lets see if I can buy them back at a bargain price. Why do I make so much more money in a tanking market? Probably because I dont buy when its going up.

Anywayz, buy low, sell high, alwayz works for me. Noobs lose money because they do the exact opposite. Lolz!
When doing buy low sell high would really give some tinggling effect either you do guess on where do price would go. going back on 6k price is possible and it can drop anytime but it would really need some significant news before it would dip once again. Its normal for the market to a trader which do gain because of others mistakes. There are earners and there would really be lossers.
4743  Economy / Speculation / Re: If bitcoin were more than 100K, how much you would buy? on: April 26, 2018, 09:22:17 PM
I doubt it will be easy for BTC to touch $100k easily. With 17 million of present supply, we here are talking about the marketcap of $1.7 trillion which is a rare case until there is a huge inflow of money and big firms enter the market. This needs huge demand which is less likely a case at this time with many countries either banning or excessively regulating virtual currencies.
Anything is possible with crypto but hitting those numbers wont really be easy and would really takes time but basing on bitcoins progress towards government and other traditional institutions then it would really be hard to consider. If bitcoin is on 100k price then i would able to buy 0.01 which its too really small but thats the only value i can afford equivalent to fiat itself.
4744  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a possibility that ether will reach to 19K USD in the near future? on: April 26, 2018, 08:22:29 PM
I was wondering from what I have read in the forum threads and a lot of people talking about the rise of altcoins. Most of it are saying that it will be ether to achieve what bitcoin has achieve today. They talk about its market price volatility or its price that is slowly recovering other than bitcoin that for somehow as of this moment has fall down a little bit on its market price. One thing came to my mind and that is the possibility that ethereum could be next to bitcoin? I am also happy if this will happen since I am holding a 1 ether in my digital wallet and I am hoping that one day ether will somehow break the record for bitcoin even though it is an altcoin.
Most likely it wont really be possible. Eth do have current supply of 99,065,661 and bitcoin do have total 21M and 17M currently  in circulation. When we do just talk on realistic basis we can really presume that reaching out $19k or even surpass bitcoins milestone isnt possible. If it does then what would be the entire cap? We wont able to achieve that much.
4745  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How ethical is it? on: April 26, 2018, 06:39:54 PM
What do you mean? I do not understand what you are trying to say.

I think he misunderstood - or didn't read your post at all.

From my perspective it is unethical. At some point, it is analogous to "tricking" someone to buy something that doesn't have any value in the future so it won't be profitable for them. This is not a trade, as somebody, in the end, won't get any benefits. Even if there is a possibility that they do want to buy it, there's also a possibility that they don't know the coin is dead, or they will use the coins bought from you to scam others by thinking that this coins still has some value (or simply doing a pump and dump).

I believe it is better for you to not sell it after all. Somebody will be at loss in the end cause the coin is dead (assuming what you said is true).
You would already turn out to be a swindler.Well put the situation that you did able to sell out those coins but sooner or later that buyer will surely sue you that the coins is worthless and would request to reverse transactions and give him his money back. High chances for that situation to happen would be there. If you tell him on the first place that the token is useless but he still tend to buy it then its his choice and your conscience wont bother you anymore.
4746  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Am I the only one? [Cryptopia exchange] on: April 26, 2018, 04:42:15 PM
I'm not quite sure if this is the right board to post this to but if it is not, just move it to the right one (mod), Thanks.

I deposited byteball to cryptopia last night from my byteball wallet and it has been 17 hours but it still doesn't show in my balance in cryptopia. I check the status of the transaction in my byteball wallet and it is stated that it is confirmed. I also cheked in the block explorer and I can see that I used the correct address to send it in.

Am I the only one having a hard time depositing at the said exchange?
Lucky for me that i do able to read up recent issues towards cryptopia when it comes on depositing Gbytes into their exchange and now the tokens isnt recieved even the transaction is already completed or confirmed.Lots of bounty participants do really have problem towards this matter. For now, i have seen other way on selling those tokens without the need on transferring it into exchanges which you can directly sell it into your own wallet. Just find the btc-gbyte exchange in chat then type "sell" further informations would be given.
4747  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Everythings GREEN!!!! Oh... hey wait, it's red again... on: April 26, 2018, 03:54:16 PM
We are all hoping for the next bull run, and many thought that the last week showed promising signs.

And then, today we have another price correction.
You can theorize all you want: maybe it's because of the mew hack, maybe it's just whales manipulating the market.

But the most simple answer, is that open markets routinely price correct as demand and supply constantly shifts.
In the case of a speculative, unregulated, and young market like crypto, the swings are more pronounced.

I think that what we will see here (and what I hope for more than anything), is that the market and investors grow up and stop throwing money at shitcoins.

The next bull run will come, I'm thinking mid may to late may.
And the coins that will perform the best, and throughout the year will be the ones that have an actual product and real world use case.
For new people in the market will surely got surprised on what we are seeing as of now on where they thought green or price increase would still continue until hitting up new ATH's but eventually we would normally see price corrections or red movements which theres nothing to be surprised or shock on and experienced traders and investors would really see this as a healthy move because not all the times market will just go into single way.
4748  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto world vs Fulltime job? to establish better life. on: April 26, 2018, 02:50:20 PM

4750  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The End Of The Bounty. on: April 25, 2018, 11:06:02 PM
For the project, it is more profitable for more people to advertise them and they do not care that we receive little, the main thing is to invest money in the project! In some Airdrops you can get more rewards than 5 weeks reposts bounty! I believe that in the future the rules of participation in the bounty will change and the flow of new people will decrease!
I do not think that the flow of people will decrease. Rumors about earnings on Bounty fly around the Internet like the wind. Every second runs here and tries to earn. And I do not understand people, why free train others to earn on this. Because of these people, we have become too much and we have earned very little!
Situation of the forum before or previous year is entirely different on this current new merit system. Spams and account farming is already been lessen up due to such system changes. It has lessen participants because creating newbie account or ranking them up isnt already possible which means there would be already limited and its not prone for a bounty to be abused which is really an advantage for legit bounty hunters.
4751  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: There's a vulnerability found in MEW. on: April 25, 2018, 10:45:10 PM
According to the other comment from the pos, Google DNS is collecting data that can steal your ethereum.

Well, I stop using mew past few months due to confused how their gas works when sending ethereum to another wallet it's always failed and I tried different gas limit, but same until my ethereum reduces my balance because of a failed transaction.

The only good thing in MEW its supports all tokens compared to other wallets.

I switch to metamask as of now I still did not experience any issue yet when sending ethereum and I use this wallet for receiving mined ethereum and bought tokens from ICO's projects.
Been using MEW eversince when i do store up erc20 tokens but i havent experienced any issues on setting out gas even though they do make suggestion anytime of 21gwei but still you would able to push out with just 2 gwei on non-inflated network or do have lots of transactions.Lucky for me that everytime that MEW is compromised or do have attacks or issues i havent logged in my MEW accounts which i do avoid those possible loss of tokens.

Reading up on op,i didnt expect another vulnerability by just using up router or wifi connection. How possible? You cant broadcast transaction if connection is absent.
4752  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Genesis-Mining Review on: April 25, 2018, 09:46:00 PM
I am XMR mining at Genesis and half of my payins(revenues from Mining) are missing. And no payout to my external wallet since more than 6 Weeks.  This are not days of "lost" payments but many weeks!!! This has nothing to do with rising difficulty. They simply dont mine or payout. At least to me, and there are tons of other clients complaints, same like me.
Which turns out sooner or later they would really turn into Scam Ponzi scheme site. As the days goes by lots of people do make complaints about into their pending payouts which they should supposed to recieve it on daily basis.Ive been investing on Hashflare(similar site)  but i do luckily get out to reach ROI due to their lifetime payouts but now both companies do already have duration which signifies profitability is mainly affected due to difficulty. We dont know if they dont really tend to payout or just simply neglecting their investors because they do already benefited into their own money.
4753  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Where should we store ETH safely? on: April 25, 2018, 09:24:49 PM
Couple of DNS servers were hijacked to resolve http://myetherwallet.com users to be redirected to a phishing site. This is not on @myetherwallet side, we are in the process of verifying which servers to get it resolved asap.
Funds cant really be hacked if you didnt input your private keys into the phishing site.MEW itself doesnt have access on the keys generated into each user. The problem here which is the DNS hack where it do redirects into other site.If you are careless enough then you will really put up your keys and will really result on to be hacked but well since you do ask for safer storage then i would always recommend hardware wallets.
4754  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Basis TA must learn for newbies on: April 25, 2018, 08:56:46 PM

trend lines
Support and Resistance

These two things are just enough for a newbie to start up trading which support and resistance identification and trend lines can really help you to identify which price and when you will enter once you do have an analysis basing on what you do see on your TA. Might not really be accurate into crypto trading but its better yet you do have already the basis towards into your possible actions.

Fibonacci and Eliot waves is somehow an advance lesson for you to add up if you are really willing to learn on it.
4755  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is the market red on: April 25, 2018, 08:32:18 PM
Bad news: today's hack in SmartMesh smart-contract and yesterday's MEW DNS-hack are the main reasons of today's crypto dump
These might be the reason or one of the reason why we do see price drops or pullbacks which we do know that fundamentals specially negative ones can really give such impact to the market. We do see MEW DNS hack and other news which bring down the price turn to red which i do see it did break the gradual increase of bull run but well its just still good and a good opportunity for traders to get or buyback cheaper coins once again.
4756  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Made a little fun game with cryptocurrencies - Crypto Catch on: April 23, 2018, 11:52:52 PM
Hi!

I made a small fun game with all cryptocurrencies - https://catch.cryptland.com/

Need to click on any coin in 60 seconds, while it is moving around. Remember to check Ranking after your score submitted.

If anybody has something to say about this fun game, I will be very grateful.

Thanks

Good for past time. I did only reach out level 9 on the game before the time out.Im quite but curios on the bomb and that spaceship too. Not bad for the first try and the game is entertaining yet hitting up that coin is hard even i do have a fast hands on clicking up. I was amazed seeing those people who are on the top tier rankings reaching level 11 even no matter how i tried i do only get up on level 9.
4757  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: After a Bad Sell on: April 23, 2018, 11:30:32 PM
This is a must for everyone. I bought Ethereum from 900 USD, I sold it from 370 USD, then the price started to increase and the current price is close to 650 USD. I did the wrong thing with Bitcoin, but it was a small amount. In my opinion, we should look at the future instead of sad to lose it. Because, in the world of cryptocurrency, there is always a chance to earn more.
Your losses are pretty large. I think that you shouldn't sell your ETH, because such low price was at the autumn of 2017 before the huge pumping occurs on the crypto exchange markets. In my opinion, the low resistance level of Ethereum is about $350.

What to do after a bad sell? Try to correct your mistake, and buy coins as soon as possible in order to ride on the upstream wave and get profits.
You cant blame someone yet its their own money after all panic selling can really happen anytime and cant be avoided if we do lack experience and knowledge into this very volatile market but later on our experience would tell us on the next move we would do when we do experience the same scenario again. Bad sell is common but we should moved on and dont stress ourselves yet we cant really go back into the time and wait for the rise.
4758  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: MetaMask - How save is it? on: April 23, 2018, 11:04:31 PM
I never experienced any problems with metamask. But i didn't use metamask too much.
They have their source published at GitHub (https://github.com/MetaMask).
Since metamask is used by quite a lot people and their code seems alright (didn't verify myself, but no bugs found so far by the community),
I think its fine to use. But the security of metamask is capped by your browser and PC itself.
For higher amounts (which you can't afford to lose) you should consider using a hardware/paper wallet for storing.

Myetherwallet together with a hardware wallet is the safest (handy) option.

When metamask was introduced I did make a sample or testing on how things go work into this new wallet which I do say it is lite and very easy to use but you would really notice such changes if you do came in Myetherwallet. I do like it but In the end I do still prefer on using up Myetherwallet because this is the wallet been using since I do know about erc20 tokens which I do decide to stick with it and as you said it is really handy.

Not only that Metamask is only applicable on Chrome (which they should consider to be used on other browsers too).Just like Myetherwallet i have seen frauds and phishing apps and links on Metamask on where you can see on googleplay itself and as a newbie we should be aware. heres the link for chrome https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/metamask/nkbihfbeogaeaoehlefnkodbefgpgknn?hl=en . being safe would always depend on user side.
4759  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banking will still be significant until cryptocurrencies can "stand on their own on: April 23, 2018, 10:40:08 PM
Bank have regulator and Crypto don't have regulator,In bank we can save money with stable price and in crypto we can save money with volatile price so the difference in bank and in crypto are so big so there's no need to pick what is better and better to use both because they have different worth actually a thing run because of their worth so in future still we need this both if your insight's good
"Stable price" it's not stable if it's just going down every year.
Maybe you have the same amount of dollars you had before but your buying power decreases and this is what is actually matter.
The banks saves your money and at the same time it lends 10x more to other people, it has the visa to do whatever it wants with your money and you can't actually do anything about that.
The only thing banks are good for is to save innocent people from themselves

Stability you guys will not be able find that any time on any crypto currency bro. As I see the bitcoin price is started bumping in the market if you want make the money out it. Please utilize the time and invest the fund as much you can mate.
Banks are the worst place and our money is being to used by the international corporates. This is happening through out this world.
If you are good understanding the difference of bitcoin and fiat cash means he will be able to make profit out it.
With just your own pure common sense you will able to differentiate between local fiat and bitcoin/crypto when it comes to their feature and in regards with legality. We know bitcoin/crypto is decentralized and they do have their own path when we do talk about development. It can be adopted but would really just remain into its area on where it cant really bypass banks existence or would completely vanish banking sector. I might either believe blockchain tech will be adopted and soon banking system would be fasted up even more and might be the cause of such unemployment of those personnels who works into this industry.
4760  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: How do you keep your mnemonic phrases? on: April 23, 2018, 09:57:11 PM
Things that are simple can easily caught up if there is someone that's trying to breach your keys out.

Especially when that someone is using a simple baseball bat to get them from you LOL.
Jokes aside though, the method I have described above is about as simple as it may get and very secure.
Not just a baseball bat but also a gun?
https://themerkle.com/bitcoin-seeking-gangsters-hold-cryptocurrency-trader-at-gunpoint-in-his-own-home/
https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2018/01/28/britains-first-bitcoin-heist-trader-forced-gunpoint-transfer/
Its really a worrying thing but only to those people who holds up huge amounts into their own stashes. Therefore we should really remain silent on what we possess. Dont expose or do create awareness publicly because once criminal minds will able to know then your life is at risk. You might able to avoid online hackers but you would really be prone into physical harm. On my side i do store up my mnemonic phrases on a notepad and then save it on a USB into 3 copies or files. Then store it up into places which someone in the house didnt know where i do placed it.
