4661  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Passwords and registrations on: May 18, 2018, 07:05:29 PM

How do you keep all of these passwords from a lot of wallets, from many registration forms on various sites, whitelists, stock exchanges, alpha versions of projects? This is a whole bunch of nickname and passwords. Sometimes I look at this list and I get sick.
I already have a gag reflex when I see the phrase "Please register".

What do you think about it? These endless sign-ups never get old for you guys, do they? Or is it boring you too?
Normal thing because if you do engage into things or doing lots of task then you should get used to it on making brand new accounts since its the main requirement on todays trend. You can use a site or service without any registrations.Talking back on the thing you asked on where to store then i do usually compile those things on an excel and save up log-in informations and other related stuffs.
4662  Economy / Exchanges / Re: YoBit seems wants to steal my money. Are they scammed? on: May 17, 2018, 10:55:33 PM
I've dealt with them some time ago. You best bet with them is to send one ticket and wait. Then when they respond on ticket or withdraw is processed, I suggest you to not use them again until their customer support is improved (considering that it's bad as it was two years ago, I doubt that).
Their reputation and performance nowadays comparing into 2 years ago was still just the same.I was little bit surprised that this exchange was still alive and kicking or still on operation inspite on having those piling up issues regarding into their service.

Sending 1 ticket at a time is just right rather than on spamming tickets which will make the problem more worst. They are not scam they do have only some delays but this will really piss you so hard. Wink
4663  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Monero V price predictions on: May 17, 2018, 10:24:04 PM
It is interesting that MoneroV had so much hype and bla bla months before it was forked, but was not able to enter coinmarketcap after weeks of existence. XMC and XMO was able to enter it after few days with ease.
At first i didn't read up previous comments and was little bit curios if this monero V forked coin do exist or not but i found out there are lots of them.lol. This is indeed having so much hype and i dont really get involved myself on investing into these forked coins. XMV XMC XMO wont really suits out my taste. Better to stick into the original ones.
4664  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: An insider scoop on why "PUMP" groups are a SCAM on: May 17, 2018, 09:49:19 PM
Don't really need a detailed post like that to prove these are obvious scams. Just think about it this way: why would anyone give these "tips" out for free? Like in the case of facebook or some other free website that provides a service, you're the product.
Its not really  necessary but why cant just appreciate on having a detailed information on here and op did make some efforts and clearly illustrating how these things go. This is helpful for those fool people who arent aware and still joining into this Pump groups. Seeing this post will really open their eyes and wont tend to join up again. Going back, ive never tried to follow these tips because im fully aware that those people who are making signals are already bag holders and hyping the coin just to secure out profits if fool investors would tend to buy out.
4665  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty is dead :( on: May 17, 2018, 09:14:02 PM
Guys hello to all, maybe somewhere that already created such a thread, but I'll try to ask again Smiley Recently, I increasingly see that people get quite ridiculous amounts for participating in the bounty, for example, when compared with what was 5 months old back, the amounts are absolutely ridiculous. Do you think this is a temporary phenomenon? Or is the bounty dying? Thanks to everyone, I really want to hear the opinion of people of the rank of Hero and Legendary.
Bounty isnt dead but somehow to success rate is much lesser compared into the past because there are lots of projects do launched every now and then having almost the same or identical ideas. Some of them are legit some of them are total frauds this is why profitability or earning opportunity is lesser compared into the past years but rest assured bounty programs would still live for some time.
4666  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Hackers ? on: May 17, 2018, 08:47:07 PM
Are there a lot of hackers now in the crypto's world ? I mean, it a place not totally safe, because of it's quit new.  Do you think hackers can change the crypto economy for their own benefit ?

Even not only to this new crypto world but also old traditional online transactions there would be always a hacker.Where these identities do really make advantage into other people and do things which will make them money. You should not be surprised and yet we are making transactions and talking about money here on crypto then no doubt this is one of their sweet spot because we know money would always been sweet. Cool
4667  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How profitable are doing bounties? on: May 17, 2018, 08:26:38 PM
If your so lucky on the bounty campaign that youve participated then your reward will be worth it.  So hard to find what bounty campaign is truly profitable this time.
Yeah, this is just like gamble where still basing on the chance if the project you are involved to will able to boom up.

I read in one of the topics that someone received income from the company generosity $ 21K, is it possible?
This is possible but the thing comes to my mind is that he might have participated on a translation bounty with high pecentage allocation into that program and turns out that he holds up the token after the distribution and sell off when the pump happens. Not a guaranteed thing but one of the possible ways to earn that amount since this thing cant be achieved if we are just talking about social media programs or signature campaigns.
4668  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-05-14] Facebook wants to create its own cryptocurrency! on: May 14, 2018, 10:23:07 PM
Facebook reportedly wants to create its own cryptocurrency

Earlier rumors indicated the social media giant was researching blockchain.
Now it looks like that's for a payment system.

Source: https://www.cnet.com/news/facebook-reportedly-looking-to-get-into-cryptocurrency/

Facebook certainly doesn't need to raise money through an ICO for development. Evn if Facebook does issue a cryptocurrency, it would be the equivalent of fiat on Facebook and would probably be spendable only for Facebook advertisements. Who would be interested in buying a currency like that?
They wont really need to raise an ICO since the can able to support it with their own funds and develop those tokens to be used into their own service. I dont know why this thing being called as a cryptocurrency.I would rather treat nothing different into fiat itself. These news isnt rumors which if the information had been leaked out then high chance that they would really proceed on what they do plan but well i dont really consider this as a special thing.
4669  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHICH OF THESE STABLECOINS WILL MOST LIKELY BE THE FUTURE OF CRYPTO PAYMENTS? on: May 14, 2018, 09:35:58 PM
what are you talking about? there is not even a single vote on that poll, how can it have any results?!!!

in any case why do you even think a centralized stablecoin can be the future of payments? people don't come to cryptocurrencies to have a stable price. they come to them to benefit from the decentralization and then if there were stability, it would be icing on the cake.

all the coins you named here are centralized. some of them are less centralized i'll give you that but they are still centralized. the articles you posted above are more like the "ideal" coins that we wish to have not the coins that exist.
not to mention that they are not even stable!!! for instance HAV is currently worth $0.54 not the promised $1
That was i supposed to say and i dont know why he would pushed about that stability into those coins yet even centralized coins in the market do have movable prices. Does he really know whats the definition on the word "stable" ? Seems like he lacks out with some dictionary and also that Poll what a shame and doesnt any have a single vote. lol
4670  Economy / Economics / Re: Any ideas of what we lack in crypto world? on: May 14, 2018, 08:45:40 PM
We see that all the time in some countries cryptocurrencies are banned or in the contrary they start to make a special regulation. It shows that everyone want to do something with it but don't really know what, yet. Maybe you guys can guess, as experts from the crypto community, what do we need for normal living in a blockchain world?
Normal living cant really be attained when decentralized cryptocurrencies do still exist into this world which i do hope that they would last for sometime rather than on having tokens using blockchain technology but still have the essence of centralization thats why we would able to see the boundaries between controlled and uncontrollable things.Instead on minding about that matter better to do your own business as long you can make profits then you should utilize it very well.
4671  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The Top 4 most reliable ICO Rating websites on: May 14, 2018, 08:16:56 PM
I just don't know. Throughout 2016 and 2017, these sites come and go. Once Ico-list.com was the one to check upon upcoming ICOs and now the site is not updated often. These sites sometimes just post ICOs without any reviews whatsoever.

In a nutshell, try them all and of course pick the one that is useful.
Just google it mate. Then you comes to who is the best pick for this current time if you want in the sense. There are plenty ICO projects comes to the market each and every day. So everyone looking to expect the statistical data on investing ICO projects.
To solve this problem we got many ICO listing website. Some are reliable and some being used as advertisement mode to show them at top.
We need to find the good site first for this. I used to check the ICO list on topicolist.com website. Here you can find active, past and upcoming ICO list. That will be work better find the good project as early as possible on pre sale time itself.
Good suggestion but not all on pre-sale state would signify that you would rush up yourself to get in.Research would always been recommended. It isnt bad to have basis into your decision when it comes on checking out a new project into those rating sites just be sure that you will able to categorize or you will able to point out which is good or do have potential or just obviously being marketed by the site.Ive tried to use em up when i was starting which you can make your own basis and observation on past succession of projects that they reviewed.
4672  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: IS PRIVCOIN.IO A SCAM on: May 14, 2018, 07:45:02 PM
This is the reason why it got blacklisted:

"Hi, I've blacklisted the domain as we had many reports on Etherscan and EtherScamDB about coins not being sent back.

I will be investigating it more before considering a whitelist."

It got requested in this commit: https://github.com/MetaMask/eth-phishing-detect/pull/1586
And where he explains the reason: https://github.com/MetaMask/eth-phishing-detect/issues/1598
This reply do clarifies at all. Been wondering at first why having that kind of prompt where Privcoin do have still pending issues why metamask decide to flagged it as a phishing link. Being blacklisted is on their control and we cant do anything about it if metamask decide to do such thing. Resolve issue first before the blacklisting would really be removed. Thanks for the share up of links, a good preference to look out.
4673  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: HOW TO RECOGNIZE WHALES’ TRAP: REAL SELL WALL AND FAKE SELL WALL on: May 14, 2018, 07:02:41 PM
so how to recognize it ? your content did not tell us how to recognize it at all.
ok,let me help you to figure it out.
if you are encountering a 'WALL' on buy order or sell order, the first thing that you need to do is observing the wall itself and how long it maintains its place on the order.
usually if it was a real one,it will stay still even after half of it get bitten by people.
(sometimes it will disappears after it get bitten by people for a half, and appearing again after it hits a new low in the future)
on the other hand if the 'WALL' acted like a ninja(appearing and disappearing),this wall will act according to the market and won't maintain its place if it get bitter for more than 10% from its original orders.

Those things are always my indicator where i do really observer those wallets regarding into their movements.Even just on your common sense you would able to figure it out if its a fake one or not and as you illustraded there are orders which bitten up by half then completely gone then set up another price and made another wall.If you dont have experienced or too much knowledge you would really barely see this movement since you wont care at all but later on you would really need to recognized these things.
4674  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Partnerships in crypto on: May 13, 2018, 10:54:23 PM
How important are partnerships when it comes to investing in ICOs?
Do you need to see strong connections in place before investing, or is the strength of the idea alone enough to make you invest?

For example, I know a lot of people are interested in Zeex (www.zeex.me) because they have partnerships ready to go with two major giftcard distributors who offer brands such as Amazon and Starbucks. Yet I've noticed some other projects that don't seem to have a lot to show at ICO also get a lot of interest. Me personally, I like to see things in place before I make decisions and Zeex has a really solid foundation to build their protocol on Cool

A very nice introduction and way on how you do market your signature  Grin Partnerships is one of the factors i do always check out when i do tend to make investment because tendency of success would really be high if they do have partnerships specially into popular ones but still in the end the project idea is the most important because even though it dont have any partners but the idea is unique and do really have real life contributions or innovations then it would really be still considered.
4675  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: warning, phishing sites in google search on: May 13, 2018, 10:06:58 PM
Most of the victims to these types of phishing scams are newbies who do not have previous experience with dealing with an online, hosted wallet, and don't know which hosted wallet is even legitimate, let alone which one is a phishing site of the legitimate wallet.
It's not even just limited to wallets,it's basically any online service with a fake domain advertised on google.Using an anti-virus which also provides web security solutions is an idea way to go.

Though we can expect this issue to subside after Google does ban crypto ads in the next month or so, which is something that is positive that came out of that ban.
It will ban ICO/Crypto investment banks and not wallets to be specific. They are against the ICO operations and not stable wallet services like blockchain.info etc.
Therefore it would still exist if thats the case.As you said Google do only prohibits when it comes to ICO's and theres no such decision been made in regarding into crypto wallet links. For experienced eyes you would easily point out which is a phishing site or not but being a newbie doesnt mean he would really experienced to be scammed because there are people who are sensible enough to learn up things for the first time this reading up things on this forum will really be helpful.
4676  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you believe that this man crashed Bitcoin this 2018? on: May 13, 2018, 09:38:50 PM
Everybody can say what they want like bill gates say that digital currency can kill world but still crypto run because even you spread a lot of FUD still the price of it are base in all users so if they experience conveniece in crypto of course they will not listen to others actually we have a lot of example like in binance and cryptopia scam accusation still i use this for so long then no experience of scam or hack so i will continue to use this two trading site so look always in bright side
Comparing or illustrating a crypto and int an exchange? Seems doesnt right at all. Going back into the topic even how many coins or Hundreds of millions to be dumped into the market that wont really be enough to make the market down into the bottom. We do might see dips but recovery would really be always comes next. Ive been expecting for other dumping of coins but it doesnt really worries me too much because the trust of people cant really be easily shaken up specially to bitcoin.
4677  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Busted: Britain Confiscates $700,000 in Bitcoin from Hacker on: May 13, 2018, 09:03:21 PM
Does this case prevail or the majority of cyber-crimes are still unpunished?
The far majority of the hacks and similar acts of fraud remain unpunished, and it will stay like that for ever. It's always the smaller fishes that end up like this, which is a good thing of course, but doesn't solve much.

The big boys with their hacks involving many millions remain free and unharmed and for that reason can keep doing what they are doing unfortunately. The smartest remain free, that's the whole point.

If you somehow end up like the hacker this article is pointing at, you made a mistake and got busted because of your own incompetence. Just look at all the exchanges that got hacked, nothing has ever been solved.

Not even inside theft has been subject to discussion with how there wasn't any trail left behind.
There were no trails left behind into those exchange hacks yet we do even believe that those are just inside jobs or intentional into its owners to get funds into a certain site. If a hacker is being caught then you would really be classified to be less competent on the things on what you are doing and being caught is a good thing so that they wont able to become big or expert hackers later on yet they do already go to jail. It would always become a mystery into those pending cases which we have been witnessed after all these years.
4678  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Consensus 2018 on: May 13, 2018, 07:30:47 PM
We are all waiting for that thing every year this event do really give impact into market price and now we are seeing price dips which possibly be the last price we would see on this year. After consensus there would be a price increase and basing into those statistics above high chance that we would see the same thing on different percentage this time. I have heard or read out the participants on that consensus is on 7500 i dont if it was right but rest assured positivity would really be there and might this one starts up the bull run.
4679  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who makes more in the end? A good trader or a holder? Thoughts? on: May 12, 2018, 11:06:07 PM
As the title said, Who makes more in the end? I been on trading for quite times, been scalping and learned a few lesson in technical analysis.
A trader or a holder , who earned a lot and takes more .
Its really hard to conclude because on long term holds there are instances that you might able to gain 1000x of your investment depending on the coin you are engage in but on general terms and in my own belief and observation i would go for a good trader which you can able to utilize your profits depending on your goals. If you do aim for high profit you can always adjust anytime. Quite risky compared on simply holding but would really be ideal.
4680  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Selling BTC vs Borrowing with BTC collateral in US on: May 12, 2018, 10:31:42 PM
Is it better to borrow cash using BTC as collateral, or just to sell BTC?
Don't tell me everytime you have an income of bitcoin you always say that is borrowed from others.
I did not come from the USA but in my perception, it's better to pay than to punish if you are caught by the government in the USA.

Borrowing means no income = no taxes.
Is it right?
Your right, you can do this just once or maybe twice but careful by next time that's a part of illegal activities. Is it better to obey the law than if you caught and put in a jail for punishment right?
Why people do always love to evade tax? Or do things which would able to minimize or cant able to pay up tax.
Even I, would just pay up and obeying governments laws rather than on minding on how not to pay or evade. Anytime soon you will really able to feel the metal barriers of jail.  Cheesy
