3761  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Quit My Full Time Job to Trade Cryptos Full Time on: March 21, 2021, 10:55:46 PM
I wish you luck for doing such a bold move. And if I had been making that amount of money by just arbing I’d probably do the same thing too; it’s just that I am not good at it. Good to know that there are still a few people who really take this kinds of risk, I mean you must have a lot of savings from the job you left too when you decided to quit. The laat time I’ve read about someone quitting their job was back in 2017, because that person wanted to have that financial freedom and he did and is fairly rich probably by now too, so I wish you the best of luck in trading.
We can't get financial freedom if we just rely on the salary we got from our job unless if you are a high payable employee. Imagine, even though we spend a lot of time to our job, doing overtime but the money we get is still the same unlike if we do in trading, the more time we spend on the computer, the more chance to get more profit. That is too risky but if we believe ourselves just like what OP did, we will have a brighter future than having an office job forever.
We would really be able to break those chains of slavery on that day stable job.Yes, it might be a security or somewhat assured but you wont really be going somewhere when it comes
on upgrading yourself in terms of financial capacity. You would really be staying up like that for  the rest of your life if you dont find up another source of income that could really lift you
up or do make out some progress. Some do find out their path and which is on way of trading which can really give out that opportunity but it isnt really easy as it sounds
because this will typically taking years of experience when it comes to knowledge and proper fund management.
3762  Economy / Economics / Re: Covid-19, Lockdown and repercussions on: March 21, 2021, 09:56:20 PM
Religion doesn't exactly inspire people to be logical about things, in fact it's entirely built on suspending rationale thought and just believing in things whether or not they're true.  It's the perfect example of how not to behave when lives are on the line.  But I will say it's perfectly on brand for religious folks to get angry or even violently upset over someone else not believing what they believe.

I would agree. At least as far as the COVID 19 pandemic is concerned, many of the organized religions had a negative impact on the containment efforts. From Brazil to Philippines, we are hearing stories about clerics asking their followers to ignore social distancing and refuse vaccination. Without these unnecessary interventions from the religious groups, the death toll from COVID 19 would have been much lower.

I think there was a case here in the Philippines were a parish priest who conducted mass died of Covid-19 and the church in which he held the mass resulted into a lockdown. In addition, the clergymen of the said church also tested positive in the virus.

Unfortunately, most people got too complacent with their daily endeavors. Even with the presence of the vaccine, it does not ABSOLUTELY guarantee that one is immune from acquiring the said virus. Worst, the acquisition of the vaccine is on the hands of the government, in which if the latter acts slow then the cases will definitely spike.

I do hope that people should be extra careful in this second wave of the virus. With new variants being discovered each day, who knows when would be the end of this nightmare of a situation globally.
People did really got confident that they might able to handle out the said virus since now that vaccine is already available but same as you mentioned that this wont really be preventing us for us to get infected
or does give 100% guarantee but people do have made wrong decisions instead of strictly following health protocols which would really result into a disaster or typical increase of infected persons.
Discipline on ones self plus strict implementation of rules and regulations of health protocols should be followed and be handled that properly. We wont really be ending up this
situation if people would really be having that kind of behavior or mindset until the cure would come out.
3763  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Taking the opportunity, or nothing ! on: March 21, 2021, 09:25:11 PM
I hope ALT season now and can last a long time. Because the Bull market this year is supported by great companies and Big Funds investing in bitcoin, it's different from the Bull market in 2017 which contains retail preying on each other. And I really believe the market will come up with a great surprise.

AMO is my choise at the moment, He will give a big surprise because in South Korea bitcoin and cryptocurrency transactions are increasing and the daily transaction value exceeded the stock market. Target sell $ 0.1- $ 1 and let the market working  1-5 year.

Do Your Own Research

Having some pumps in some altcoins doesnt mean that we are already on the altcoin season but if it does happen then it would be much more better if you do sell off those immediately rather
than on ending up on holding like forever because only the best coins or projects out there could really have the chance on rising up its price but if you can risk out to make those profits
to lost incase the price had crashed then its your call but the feeling of regret would really be there. This is why some people do really love to hold their alts for the possible situation that
they can reap off some serious amounts when it turns out to be on the bullish side.So its still a risky call to take.
3764  Economy / Speculation / Re: I have a relatives who ask advise to invest, what should I do? on: March 21, 2021, 08:43:01 PM
What do you think should I do guys? how can I help him?
If i were on your feet then the thing you have said was actually on point or the right one.It is better not to suggest any coin for you not to be get blamed off
when he lost up his investment even if we do totally tell directly to invest with bitcoin then theres no assurance that he would profit of on what he had been
expecting or anticipating which new people or fellas do really expect on the time they do make some investment then they do really come after with the
profit next in very short time as possible.Just tell him/her to invest on the amount that he can afford to lose and make out their own research.
To think that even we are veterans on this market but doesnt signify that we do know on what coin would really be pumping out.We dont hold up
the future and this market is always been unpredictable since from the beginning.
3765  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: he pays 5000 € for a bitcoin transfer on: March 20, 2021, 11:51:52 PM
Situations like these are totally human error when setting up fees on where you do mistakenly put up big fees on a certain transaction. We have seen lots of situations like
these where fees been sent out are totally or ridiculously high. Its up to the miner if he would be giving those amounts back but to think that this one is
already making out some noise then for sure it would really be given back.It isnt just that right to sip out that kind of amount for pushing a transaction.
3766  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Has Bitcoin.com stopped presenting Bitcoin Cash as the real Bitcoin? on: March 20, 2021, 10:52:27 PM
While I was writing another post, I visited bitcoin.com and noticed a change on their website. When you click on the Buy Bitcoin button now, the site doesn't try to trick the users into purchasing Bitcoin Cash instead of Bitcoin. It automatically selects Bitcoin as the asset you are trying to purchase. If you want Bitcoin Cash, you have to manually find it on the list.

They also changed the names of the coins. In the past, Bitcoin was referred to as Bitcoin Core, and Bitcoin Cash was either just Bitcoin or Bitcoin Cash.
What caused this change of heart? I doubt it's the good nature of the site owner?
Simply the owner do able to realize up things and even he would try to deceive out the masses but still it would be useless because instead on getting support he would rather
get some criticisms instead and that would heavily affecting his reputation and same goes to the website that he made up.It would really be good to look like this on where
they shouldnt really mislead out people and present the truth and bcash would always be a forked coin and never would be treated up as bitcoin itself.
No matter how hard they do try they will surely or definitely fail.
3767  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What Is Regret Avoidance on: March 20, 2021, 10:07:30 PM
Note to everybody: It is a THEORY that can be considered as a belief or practice by other people.
But OP still got some point, sometimes our emotional decisions may affect how we decide in investment or having poor of decision, like changing everytime, no plan, and does not stick to plan at all.

Yeah, what OP said made some sense and I understood the point that he was trying to drive home and it's a critical topic in both trading and investing that is overlooked majority of the time.  More often than not, people shy away from taking responsibility from their poor trading/investing decisions just to avoid regrets and feelings that they were wrong and that's something we have to come to terms with at some points in our career whether we're investing or trading.

I'm guilty of this sometimes that's why I can relate to it.

Who wont really able to relate into this part? For sure all of us did really come up into this kind of situation when it talks about regret avoidance. We are trying to play out
that we arent that affected but deep inside we've been thinking about those lots of "what ifs" into your mind.It is just on how you do handle up the situation
because not all would really be that having that stability when making up decision for themselves. Some do really being haunted and some do really just simply
move on and continue to learn.
3768  Economy / Economics / Re: Tech companies no longer "friends" on: March 20, 2021, 08:48:49 PM
The "FAANG" (Facebook, Apple, Amazon, Netflix, Google) are now near a monopolistic position in their core areas and they are using it to make extra profits. But the are winds of war, e.g. Apple disallowing segmentation for Facebook and Google or charging in in-app purchases to third parties.

Apart from Facebooks try with Libra, is there anyway they could start competing on the blockchain world? My take is that they should.
The original Blockchain is decentralized, and if it’s all about decentralization, then there is no way that they can be competing with each, unless they are going to be creating their own Blockchain, that’s where the competition starts. Take for example: Facebook creates their own Blockchain for other companies to make use of and it becomes big, they might start playing the same game like Apple is doing now.

Or maybe Google and Microsoft creates their own Blockchains, it’s going to also be a competition just as their search engines are a competition between the two. That’s the only way I know they will compete when it comes to Blockchain.
Honestly, people does really have different approach when it comes to that word Blockchain without even thinking on what it is and once it had been mentioned out and then making out those non relevant sentiments
without being able to compare on whats the truth about the difference among those things.Competition would really be there and its up to those companies neither they would be accepting existing blockchain technology
or would simply create their own so that they would make some integration and would be totally independent and as mentioned where this could really be the start of the competition.
Blockchain is indeed decentralized or simply anything can be seen on a public ledger and that what makes great.
3769  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Sell Altcoins on: March 20, 2021, 07:54:42 PM
Bitcoin is not yet done so I think if you choose the bitcoin you still earn profit. But in my opinion I think it is really good if you invest and do not sell your altcoins because for me the altcoins will gives more profit than the bitcoin. Because the times of possible to be highest is times 2, of the current price but the times of possible for the altcoins to increase is more than 2x if that is potential coin like the ethereum , ripple and bnb.
This is what others been thinking off when it comes to possible profits which if they do decide to stick out with bitcoin then they can only get 2x maximum
but with altcoins with low price and low cap then they can possibly earn 100x-1000x into their investment thats why there are really people whom do target out
altcoins and focusing on it despite of the common recommendation of the masses which we should stick with bitcoin.Actually this is really a matter of choice
because some people do choose a bit of security when it comes to long term aspects thats why some do play bit safe and some do play with fire.
3770  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where would you sell if you had bought 10 Bitcoin at $100? on: March 19, 2021, 11:39:08 PM
Let's assume that we have bought BTC at $100, I don't think that I could hodl it for so many years and I don't think that there is someone who is still hodling until now, for sure those who bought at $100 have sold their bitcoin when the proc goes up a little bit because no one knows that bitcoin could fly so high like this. There is no problem with where will you sell bitcoin because we have a lot of legitimate and reputable exchanges where you can sell a huge amount of bitcoin.
Believing the same thing specially if you are really that active into this market that do checks out from time to time then you would really be selling out on some point.
Who would be the one on liking to miss out those kind of selling opportunities? To those guys who had missed out on selling those peaks in the past are to those who had
literally lost or forget their keys and then they do suddenly able to recovered it out which it did result into big fortune considering on how big the market is currently
but when you do know the access of those wallets then its really hard to resist on not to sell.
3771  Economy / Speculation / Re: Looks like India is perhaps serious about banning cryptocurrency on: March 19, 2021, 10:53:19 PM
Just read an article where an official says they expect the crypto ban to be passed, despite other officials recently downplaying the likelihood of it.

India is becoming quite an oppressive government from a monetary standpoint. Giant leap backwards for them if they pass the bill. Won't hurt Bitcoin too much - apparently there's only about $1.2 billion of bitcoin held in India (about a dollars worth for every citizen). If they do ban cryptos it just means that one day when they ultimately reverse that ban we're gonna get a huge pump from a billion-plus people suddenly having access to Bitcoin, by which time Bitcoin will likely be far more engrained throughout the rest of the world.

It's crazy to think about a government actually making it illegal, acting like you are some terrible criminal, simply for holding a digital asset. I guess other smaller nations have done this, but India would be the first major nation if it indeed passes. The idea of banning bitcoin is a great litmus test on how much economic freedom a nation has - and if you ban it you are a terribly monetarily oppressive nation.

Thoughts on the possible India crypto ban?
I don't think it will happen in near future. Some media house deliberately publishing fake news and attributing it to reliable anonymous sources
Government will not out a blanket ban on crytpo as they know it is not possible to ban it.
They will come up with some face saving solution that's why they have postponed the bill till monsoon session.
That make sense which is indeed happening as of this moment and this isnt something new because those media would really be continuing on publishing out those things
which do really misleads out people on the actual or truth thing about crypto.
When it comes to banning then just let them be, sooner or later they would really be reverting those decisions if they do realize that they wont really able to get rid of it.
Government isnt really that dumb nor aware on how things do works.
3772  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: First time scammed , very frustrated on: March 19, 2021, 09:52:20 PM
Telegram scams have intensified this year. Actually all scammers get very active when the bull market begins. Never trust someone who contacts you first with a great offer. When the offer is too good, it should alarm you immediately that it may be a scam. Always confirm everything in official project chat rooms by very carefully checking their names and usernames of people you are contact with.
Social media is a platform for verification and discussion or communication in the participation of a project or related cryptocurrency or anything, especially telegrams that are always connected and also a place for scammers to commit fraud and find gullible targets.
and to avoid scams on telegram we can avoid all private messages that offer something tantalizing and not easy to believe.
In any mediums then those scams are really present and making yourself arent really that sensible into those things then you would most likely getting scammed.
You should use up your common sense and you would really be saving up your ownself on losing money.First time scammed? Im sure that most of us did really
experience the same thing where we do really get scammed when we are still noob.Im not generalizing but i highly believe that we do all commit the same common
mistakes when we are just starting.of course frustration is there and when reality slaps you hard in the face and then this is where learning starts.
3773  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading your strategy on DEMO is a waste of time on: March 19, 2021, 08:48:04 PM
OP, what you're invariably saying about demo trading being a waste of time is simply saying that ignorance should be valued over education? This is really misleading. It's like buying a car and driving straight without first learning how to drive. Does that work well? As someone who trades on the side I have come to realize that practice is very crucial in this game. Therefore, to demo trade is very necessary to learning.
of Demo trade usefulness, it does help but wont really be enough on sustaining  yourself here on this place.
Yes, quite alright trading on demo has its limitation. That limitation, basically, is lack of "Emotions" This is what demo trading doesn't allow because the trading money is virtual money (or non existent). Learners know this and most times don't tend to be serious with trades, causing them to leave trades running without any attachment to them. Now, if learners will begin to treat the virtual money on their accounts like it were real money they would firm on their emotions. But because learners tend to treat this with less concern because there seem to be nothing to lose actually, that makes demo trading look none effective. Nevertheless, we should know that both live and demo trading platforms are the same and follow the same dynamics. The only thing lacking in demo is the emotion. This is why I always say, "Show me a trader who is profitable, and I will show you one who has a control on discipline and his emotions." Live trading makes traders realize they could lose real money and this causes them to be more careful and concerned.

The bottom line for me is that demo trading should be treated like live trading to get the best out of it.
Emotion is one of their differences because you know that you arent risking something when you do demo trades which means that you would really be confident on what kind of strategies or analysis you would really be throwing off and since you do have in mind that you arent risking something then it would turn out that you would be less emotional on taking into  your trades which is totally different when you are in the actual market
where you do have that fear inside for you not to lose money. This is the main difference and you can eventually feel it on when you do switch up from demo to real one but it doesnt mean that demo trades are useless
on where some people do say about it but it isnt really true at all.Its still sensible to start up with this.
3774  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin better than Fiat? on: March 19, 2021, 07:18:03 PM
What do you think? Is Bitcoin better than Fiat? If not, why? Is it still too early to tell? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance Smiley

Both does have pro's and con's which we can really make out some differentiation between the two but never ever in my thought on thinking that Fiat would be replaced by Bitcoin.
Its really an impossible thing to happen no matter what as long government do exist then its impossible for any crypto to totally replacing out fiat because people would really still
consider on using that stable fiat on most situations even though it does have criticims for most of the time but we cant really deny when it comes to relevance.
Bitcoin is better that fiat on lots of points but we cant really consider on completely replacing it no matter what.

3776  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is in Step Cycle | Good opportunity for buying more! on: March 17, 2021, 09:37:28 PM
*remember, don't buy and sell carelessly...
The best chance to add to your Bitcoin asset portfolio is of course by buying more when it 'dips'. most likely the current Bitcoin price has not reached the ATL for this year, I am still waiting for a great opportunity to buy at ATL this year.
Depends on what you do really after because not all would really be aiming for long term hodls which means they do actively trade and trying to figure out on what level
should really be the possible dip and this is the toughest challenge that you would really able to face up when making active day trades and with the help of technicals
even though it might not be that precise but at least you do have indications for you to presumpt on having a good entry which is better rather than
on making random calls without any indications which is actually a pure gamble.
3777  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: how would you explain chart like this with your experience in crypto? on: March 17, 2021, 08:31:27 PM
a) why it goes so downhill after release? all ICO sell it or what is this a sign of? are all coins with chart like this (first price high, then fall down) a sign of something not going well?

b) what is this enormous high thin peak? some transfer to exchange or? 13th August 2020: 0.03USD -> 13 USD -> back to 0.03USD

c) if the coin is only on hitbtc - is it a scam coin as hitbtc or it can be just a good coin on a scammy exchange or is hitbtc any good? Have read a lot of sad stories on reddit about hitbtc that it is a selective scam or something.. don't know.. using binance so far...
a. Its a typical thing because investors would really be normally sell out their bags for taking profits which those blames do took all by bounty hunters.
main dumpers are investors itself so you shouldnt be surprised.

b. spikes like that are mostly error on buying on high price or same goes with selling which  could really create that spike.

c. I wont trust up any coins that it is only listed on one exchange because once delisted then its game over.

what do you think of my way of trading? , tell us how you scalp.
Usually these things do particularly means with price actions. Things ive been using? Common ones.

-Fibonanacci
-EMA
-RSI
-MCD
-BB
-Some candle patterns (Usually reversal ones)

These are the main technical tools ive been using when doing day trades.

3780  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: How did this hack happen? on: March 16, 2021, 11:42:26 PM
personally i NEVER use wifi on my phone. its turned permanently off.

when a phones wifi is on it will check in with any wifi signal it can. whether you want it to or not.

i treat any wifi network as compromised.

Valid point and wifi can definitely be sketchy but this was with the latest xfinity router and a non-default password. I am not a wifi hacking expert but I think you need proximity to the wifi in order to hack it. This was in the suburbs with zero foot or car traffic and there might have been two houses in wifi range. The chance that one of those houses had some hacker in it sniffing packets at 8:30 on a Sunday morning seems very very low.
Im much aware about snipping out Wifi but bypassing the router without having that default password or lets say that it is a string of alpha numeric then its really hard to
hack someones internet or router this is why i do ruled out the possibility unless if someone do really knows your password then its really a game over thing.
When accessing some sensitive information in my mobile then i do just simply make use of my own date than on accessing public wifi's anywhere.
